Felt uncomfortable for most of the massage. Wasn’t really what I was used to and Deion teetered on the edge of inappropriate with areas of massaging. Also he didn’t knock after I got undressed to lay on the table. Tried to call him with my concerns and he did not answer. I typically don’t go to male masseuses and this is why, do not recommend and will not be going back

At first I was a bit annoyed because the appointment I had booked in advance through ClassPass was canceled last minute. But I decided to rebook and give them another shot. I am SO glad I did. Deon was amazing, probably the best massage I’ve ever had. He was thorough, even ending with a face massage, and he was gentle but firm enough that the knots in my back were worked out. I also really appreciated the environment. Modern and un stuffy music, nice lighting and a comfortable table were all important details that don’t go unnoticed. I’ll be back!

The first time I heard about the bodywhisperATL was when I saw the post from Monique the comedian. I said to myself that the next time I go visit Atlanta that I was going to find him. He had a special for 4 hours so invited my two daughters to share the special with me. I had 2 hours and they had one hour. We drove all the way from Detroit in December 2021. When I arrived at my appointment Dion mentioned that I was the first client from Detroit. that was the best 2hour massage therapy Ive ever had in my entire life. When I first walked into the art of wellness it was clean I smell refreshing and felt calming. The music was relaxing Dion has the hands sent from God. I told him I never had a massage like that ever in my entire life this was top tier. Deon’s booking process was very easy to navigate through. Each services provides great detail, so you can choose the best option for you. Parking is easy. His place is clean, dimly lit for comfort, and smells amazing. Deon asks what you hope to get out of the massage and gets to work. The stretching was definitely the best part of the massage. He was intentional, helped make sure I took plenty of deep breathes to get the most out of it. Check him out when you have time!

Deon is amazing and definitely has some healing hands!!!!! I work remote and was very tight in my shoulders and lower back. I was not ready for the techniques that were used to relieve my joints and aches. It was like no other I have ever received. The breathing methods during massage to help release the pressure was everything. I felt comfortable and he was very professional!

Was my first time at Art of Wellness with Deon. Very professional and very knowledgeable. He asked about my occupation which requires me to sit all day and so he knew exactly what stretches to do, breathing exercises, etc. The warm towel on my neck and aromatherapy eye mask was icing on the cake. He made me feel comfortable and instilled another layer of confidence as he was not intimidated by my height or weight. Deon is an amazingly talented, mindful & skilled professional massage therapist. I typically struggle with persistent neck & shoulder pain that I’ve learned to live with over the years & treat with massage therapy. Massages have for the most part always felt good, but I still felt some tightness afterwards. Then I met Deon…after time on Deon’s table I can honestly say that I’m pretty immediately relieved from that pain. I have been lucky enough to be a client of Deon’s for MANY years (10ish, is that right Deon???) He is the most versatile, intuitive therapist that I have ever experienced. No two massages have ever been exactly the same because in the session he reads how your body responds, and address the issues that need attention. If I’ve done a big shoulder workout, he concentrates there, if I’ve done a long drive he addresses the muscles that affects, he even fixes me when I sleep wrong.This was my first 3 hour massage experience…and it was otherworldly. I left so relaxed and light it was like I was floating. Even Atlanta traffic couldn’t mess with my vibe. The whole experience was wonderful. He is a master who is always perfecting his craft.

Listen!!! The 3-hr massage (YES!!! THREE full hours) I just received was nothing short of amazing!!! Deon is truly gifted with his hands. I’ve had MANY massages. I have about two a month.. I relocated to Atlanta and was in search of a new masseuse. I found Art of Wellness on IG and booked an appointment just based on the videos posted. No idea that this would be THEE best massage I’ve had. Typically I’m left with instructions for after care, ( epsom salt bath and morning stretches) because all the kinks could not be adjusted during my session.. I left this session KNOT-LESS. I have zero pain. Art of Wellness will definitely be my new place for self-care.

Massages have become a regular part of my monthly self care routine and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I have to get a 2 hour massage minimum bc anything less would feel like a disservice to my body. I just left a 90 minute session. I get ALOT of massages due to an injury…. But I’ve never had one like this. I feel absolutely amazing. I’m about to book another session already 🤣 if I could give 10 stars I would. He made me feel so comfortable and relaxed….. I’m in heaven.
