Jade Massage

This was an okay experience. I paid for an hour and I’ve seen others say it felt rushed and aggressive and I agree with that exactly. It wasn’t the most relaxing environment. The ceiling is open to the rest of the place, so you can hear everything that happens as far as other customers walking in and water running in other sink, my therapist also answered the phone during my massage to book appointments. The massage itself was okay besides being a bit aggressive and kind of just pulled everywhere. To end it all, what ultimately will not bring me back here is when I was leaving. I am a server so I 100% understand the tipping culture and planned to tip her. Before I could even get my “thank you” out, she ASKED me if I had her tip. I felt that was quite unprofessional and rude to just ask for, seeing as I was going to give her one anyways. I recommend Kneading Knots.

I had a deep tissue massage today at Jade Spa and it was awesome. This was my second time coming here. I was asked how the pressure was several times during the massage. Most of the time was spent on my back and neck, where it needed to be. I was asked if I wanted hot stones near the end and I did. It was wonderful, thats all I can say. I wont wait so long before my next visit. In fact, Ill be scheduling for myself and my husband next time. Thanks for an awesome experience once again.

Leaving Jade Spa and will not be back. My entire service was rushed and aggressive. From the time I entered until the time I was done. I never had a massage done with such speed instead of Effleurage and a gliding massage technique. It was like a kid spreading oil all over my back and going insane. I couldn’t wait until my hour was OVER! My appt was at 5:00 and the place closed at 9pm so I’m not sure why the lady was rushing. Today made my third visit and I didn’t enjoy it at all. I paid for a hour full body massage , I really needed to relax and the masseuse “Lucy” didn’t help at all. I have a port in my left shoulder and a surgical cut near my right breast. My arms was pulled in all different direction and extended so far back. No way I could relax! Please take intoconsideration your clients, we choose YOU! Lucy answered her phone twice in the middle of my massage to make appointments. I’ve been to many places but never experienced anything like this. I was in room 3 directly behind the reception desk and waiting room. I posted a photo of inside room 3 and at the very top on the opposite side of the room is the waiting room/ clerk desk upon entering. The clerk desk is directly behind the wall with the top of the ceiling open. I heard every single client that came in. Music is in the waiting area but none in the room where the massages are being done, therefore you can hear everything clear. Room 3 didn’t have a sink in it but I heard running water from the sink outside the room as if it was in the inside.Lucy left the room twice for hot towels and rocks. I was laying on the bed with just a towel when she walked out. Please invest in top sheets. Anyway, she put warm wet rocks on my back which made me very uncomfortable. The Masseuse said that she had to run water on the stones bc they were hot. She didn’t try to dry them with a towel before putting them on my back. I did pay for a deep tissue massage which was very intense/ aggressive. I did tell her 3/4 times to ease up. I pray I don’t wake up sore or bruised. When I got ready to exit the front door, Lucy asked me did I leave her some tip. I think it’s just RUDE to ask someone for a tip especially after a horrible service. I usually tip $20 or more depending on services. The only tip I can give is this honest review. Do better before you run this place in the ground.

I hade a deep tissue massage and it was great! Ive had several massages in other places and I can never find someone who can consistently apply the pressure I need. They did fantastic for a full hour and even walked on my back toward the end, I probably needed another hour to keep working on all my knots but I will be scheduling again and probably for a longer time. If youre looking for a good true deep tissue massage this is where to go!

I’ve been to this place twice before. It’s always been okay. But last night… I had the worst experience ever!! I had the older lady and she was so aggressive I wanted to get up several times and just walk out. There was definitely a language barrier as well. Which wouldn’t have been anything to complain about if she understood the basic phrases like LIGHTER! Nothing at all about it was relaxing. She was literally digging her elbow into my back. & pinching me hard enough bruise my skin. Then when I was leaving she held up an envelope someone had written on for her saying “would you leave a tip”. ABSOLUTELY NOT. They had already charged me $10 extra to use my card!! When I said no to the tip she just stood there staring. I’ll never go back again.

Got a massage from Wendy last week and it was Great! Got all my knots and tightness out! She is very Professional and nice! Would highly recommend!!

Today was my first time here so I didnt get a chance to get anyones name but my experience was amazing. They were very courteous. I liked how they asked if the pressure was too hard. I WIL BE BACK!

This is a really great place. She’s very good. Pay with cash and there’s a discount applied. I usually can get in somewhat quickly but I’d make an appointment.

The experience started off slow I thought I was getting a massage from a kindergarten then she proceeded to get good I havent had a good massage in a long time she did great but only focused on one side now my body is sore feel like somebody us hitting me with a whip. After my 2 hour session about o leave the receptionist ask me do I plan on leaving a tip since I got the service done. I asked her did she ask the guy that just walked out the door in front of me she replied he paid in the back. I asked her was it mandatory that paid because you shouldnt ask your customers to leave a tip for someone doing there job. I asked her do she pay everyone a tip when she go places for doing their job. I proceeded to tell her she will lose business by questioning customers for a tip.

Jade Massage has given me my life back. I could turn my head at max 30*. I now can move my head 90* pain free!! This girl is Forever a loyal customer!!

Second Time coming here, it was Great! VERY friendly and clean, makes you feel comfortable. They really work on the issues that you specify if you are having trouble areas and get you right. I would recommend.

Great experience. Had an hour deep tissue on my back that went for the full hour. She was able to keep a very firm pressure the entire time. I would certainly go again. The back pains and stiffness I have been having from the poor hotel bed has gone away.

I am a RN that gets massages on the regular; especially while traveling. I’ve experienced some of the best Masseuses. My husband & I recently moved here & I went to Jade today in search of a néw massage home. For starters you’re only covered in a bath towel and I expected the heated full sheets with the knee prop. The towel was able to cover my body entirely but at times that the elderly Asian lady had to leave the room for massage oil, hot towels and stones; she left me uncovered. I felt uncomfortable by that. Mind you I’m undressed and uncovered. Normally when I get massages everything is inside the room and my masseuse doesn’t exit until the end of the massage. Also, normally once a masseuse finish massaging a particular area, they recover that area and only uncover the area that is being worked on. To add to that; it felt like her nails were sharp and she had callous on her hand but out of consideration for her hustle I was just gonna go with the flow because it wasn’t extremely bad but very noticeable. Initially, I told her medium therapeutic and it felt like hard deep tissue. I had to keep reminding her to be softer and more gentle. I had expectations of a full body massage but she focused on my back way too long. I had to ask for my arms and hands to get a little TLC too. The massage had come to its end 5 minutes earlier than my prepaid hour on top of the disrupted time that I had. The elderly lady asked for a tip I said ‘maybe next time’ and proceeded to try and communicate why and what I didn’t like to avoid putting it in the reviews. Before I could get anything else out she immediately got an attitude and went and slammed the door in my face while I was standing there trying to communicate with her. I had really planned on coming back and tipping her had she took my concerns into consideration the next time. Unfortunately, due to me being treated less than a respectable human being; I will not be returning. I’m all for people getting their own experience but 10/10 I do not recommend.

The place is clean and reputable. I also appreciated them being able to take me as a walk-in. Unfortunately I cant recommend them.I went in with a knot in my shoulder and 24 hours later I feel like I got beat up. My masseuse was very aggressive with the point of her elbow. I cant completely blame her as she did frequently ask if it was ok, but theres always that awkward balance there with communicating what youre feeling vs letting someone do their job. Now my shoulder is swollen and more sore than it was before I went in.The other issue was my masseuse was also apparently the receptionist. That meant she was answering the phone and making appointments for other customers DURING my massage! I understand they may be short on staff, but I felt like it was inappropriate.

Nana is awesome. My chiropractor kept saying my muscles were tense. I didn’t realize how bad off I was until I went. Deep tissue massage a few times and my chiropractor today said “keep going” it was easiest adjustment I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t realize the health benefits either until I started going.

It is almost like going to a doctor because they massage so deeply and massage all of the knots out. It is better than a regular spa massage. Very talented sweet ladies.

Nana gave me the best massage of my LIFE ! Hands down best place I’ve ever been ! Amazing conversation ! If I could give them 20 stars I would ! Thank you Jade massage !

I just called to make an appointment for the 26th and whoever I spoke with was very rude and unprofessional. She told me all appointments had to be made the day before so I asked being that Christmas is the day before will they be open, she stated I dont know, Im not the boss and hung up on me without saying bye before I could finish the sentence of my next question. I guess Ill find somewhere else because this was just rude.

The massage itself was just okay, but the overall experience was disappointing. The massage therapists talked to each other the entire time, which completely disrupted our attempts to relax. There wasnt a receptionist so whenever the phone rang, shed stop and answer the call. Definitely wasnt a relaxing experience; I wont be returning.

Amazing!! Let me say it again NaNa is amazing! This is my favorite place to get a massage. That’s saying a lot when I live in a town where we have 20 plus places to get massages. Great service for a great price. It doesnt look like much but my massage therapist was amazing. She made sure to check if the pressure was okay, what I did/didnt want or like. I did the 90 minute and for $120 it doesnt get better than that. Tip these people, yall!! they deserve it!

Husband and I was driving through from Kansas. Decided we need a couples massage. Never know what kind of massage itll be... Needless to say, we was very pleased and happy with our massages. Lucy and Ivy did an amazing job! Definitely will be back if we ever come through this way again.

Thus far, Ive been to Jade twice. The whole place is very comfortable. I have some lower back problems. This lady is so great. She clearly is very knowledgeable about issues such as mine, and knows how to help alleviate the pain... and she has. Two sessions have really improved my daily life. Im grateful for her effort. Genuinely nice woman, and fine establishment.

Best Massage in the Memphis area! On my first visit, they were able to clear out what felt like a Hump developing in my back, while working out lower pack pinched nerve issues.Not only are they good at what they do, but efficient. Definitely get your moneys worth, if you tell them your problem areas from the get go. Highly recommend. 😎👍

I had been aching all over for months so I went to one of the synergy massage locations. I left after an hour massage feeling as if I hadnt had one.😠I made an appointment at Jade massage. It had to be one of the best if not the best massage I have ever had. I have had more than I can count for many years.The hot stones at the end was the icing on the cake.I felt renewed and limber. That night was the best sleep that I have had in a long time. No morning soreness.No more aches and pains.Definitely going to make it a monthly pampering. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!

Jade massage gave me one of the best massages Ive ever had, I work out and run alot and Wendys deep tissue massage was on point for what my body needed. I am so happy that I live close to this place and will definitely use them for all of my massage needs in the future.

Called to make an appointment and got it set. The day before I got a call back to see if I was still coming. I confirmed I was. The day of I got another call that said she had a cancelation and I could come early. I told her I could not make that. As I was pulling in the parking lot 11:53 I get a call asking me to come at 12:30 and didnt wait for my response and said thank you thank you and hung up. This was my first interaction and decided to just cancel the appointment.Further more whoever reviews these is very condensing lol. But my issue is they obviously had someone cancel then tried to squeeze someone else in not caring about my schedule appointment. And I never came in to be on camera

I went into Jade Spa with an open mind and ready for a new experience within massage therapy. Im happy to report I was NOT disappointed! It was one of the best massage experiences I have ever had! The therapist was able to work out many of my kinks and found ones I didnt know about and properly addressed them. I highly recommend them and will be back soon!Thanks Jade Spa for the amazing experience.

I go here once a month to see nana with bad muscle knots from an active lifestyle. Stopped in yesterday for pain so bad in my lower back that I couldn’t bend over. Nana worked me over for an hour and a half then stretched me out afterwards. Went home and took a hot shower, ibuprofen, and hydrated. That knot is practically gone today! She is the deepest massage around and you will suffer while she works it out but she will have you feeling great the next day!

Excellent customer service, clean, and smells good. Very attentive to my needs. She always asked if I was ok and worked my muscles loose. She also suggested an Epson salt bath and drinking plenty of water.

I was very disappointed. My husband went and had Susan and loved it so much. The following month I had Nana and I barely felt anything. I ask time after time for her to do it harder go deeper and she still only applied the same pressure. The following month my husband went back and he also got a massage from Nana. He said she walked on him, and she gave the best deep tissue massage ever. Well now I’m really ticked because I figured maybe she just couldn’t do it any harder than she was but if my body builder husband says she tore him up then why didn’t I get that same deep tissue massage after asking repeatedly?

Editing to add: Jade Massage is the best!! Jade Massage helped the knot in my shoulder when nothing I did helped. The biggest thing though is that my dad has been in pain for 30 years, multiple surgeries, worked himself to the bone. He was convinced he was stuck with the pain, but after 1 visit to Jade Massage, his life is changed! Now hes planning to come visit me more often, but I think its really so he can go back to Jade Massage! Haha! Thanks so much for convincing my poor overworked dad that he CAN feel better, as long as he gets regular massages! He thinks youre absolutely worth the 2.5 hour drive!

My husband and I are fromLouisiana and were here for our anniversary. We agot 60 Minute couples massage and it was amazing! We both lift weights and had tight necks and shoulders. The massage therapists felt the tightness on us and massaged until the pain was gone on both of us. They asked us what amount of pressure we prefer and checked with us throughout to make sure we were comfortable. Very professional staff and clean facility. Great prices! Took a three hour nap after in our hotel room then killed our workout later!

Made an online appointment for a couples massage and ended up not getting it. They claimed to have not received my order when I received several emails from them. We were told that there was only one masseuse and they said we could take turns but that defeats the purpose of the couples massage, so we just left. Was told not that use the web page to set appointments. Must call for appointments.

It was fabulous!! I felt great for hours afterwards. They were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable and that the massage was just the right amount of pressure. Very clean!! Will definitely go back!

I have been going to Jade every week for several months, and Nana is at the top of her profession. I had problems with pains in my shoulders and left hip, and they are gone now. She is very professional and skillful and speaks excellent English, so I am able to discuss where the problems are and how the treatments are going. I highly recommend her.

I called to get an appt for a couple massage for my husband birthday, someone answer the phone and said, I am busy,I will call you back! That is not a way to answer incoming calls at any establishment how can you call back? without asking for information. Unprofessional! Word of advice, First impression is everything!

I have had Massage Envy monthly service for 10 years, and this 90 minute massage at Jades was better than any massage I ever had. They hustle to make sure phones are answered and customers are serviced. Definitely recommend!

I have had many massages and many of them were from different countries, since we travel a lot. This was by far the worst massage I have ever had. First, I had an 11:00 appt, i arrived on time and Nana wasnt even at the spa. The lady at the front desk had to call her. So I left and came back an hour later with the promise of i give you extra 10 minutes for your trouble. I told her before she started the massage that I would prefer a Swedish massage, something relaxing. I dont know if she didnt understand me or she chose to ignore my request, either way, what I received was a deep tissue, pressure point, painful, not relaxing at all massage. I was tense through out the whole hour because of the pain. She asked if it was hurting, I said yes, she would go lighter for one min, then right back to digging her thumbs in my shoulder. The first 15 minutes of the massage she did not use any oil or lotion. While some people may like this type of massage, great go back and enjoy, I get a massage to relax and workout some soreness from my gym workouts and this experience was not relaxing at all, very painful and not professional. Nana was very nice, so there is no issue with her politeness. Sorry #notsorry Jade spa I wont be returning or recommending to others. You can do better than this!

I’ve worked in construction for 40 years and I’ve lived with back and shoulder pain for a long time, after 90 minutes with Nana I felt like a new man. I‘ve been back several times in the past few months and she has never let me down, I’m a believer.

I just experienced the absolute best massage of my life. Nana at Jade Spa & Massage possesses exceptional skill. Dont be dismayed by her potete stature. She can bring a tear to your glass eye, but in a good way.If like me you prefer deep tissue massage, it doesnt get any better than Nana.

I didn’t care for the massage. I don’t like deep tissue and so i communicated that in the beginning and found that the Swedish massage is still quite painful. Also there is no top sheet to cover up with, only a white towel. Every other place I’ve been keeps you covered up unless they are working on a specific area but in this case you are exposed most of the time. At the end of the massage, I felt unclean. I looked at the bottle of lotion they use and it was a dial body bath bottle that was refilled w something else. I know many people like this spot but it definitely isn’t for me. I gave it two stars bc the women are friendly.

This place is GREAT!!! I have been severely stressed and hold all my stress in my shoulders and neck. So much I couldnt turn my head to the right without major discomfort. Just going one time I can feel so much relieve. Great service and great times for those who work constantly. Thanks again Jade Spa!!! Ill be seeing you guys again soon.

Lady was so harsh and kept clawing her nails it almost seemed like she was in a rush and irritated, she made me feel so uncomfortable and on my way out she asked me to tip her which was unprofessional and rude.

I wandered in here late one night after a bad and long day. I received the most relaxing massage I’ve ever had. I told her the areas that had the most tension and she worked it out for me. I will defiantly be back.

When I walked in there was a horrible odor. Maybe from the carpet. When I asked about it nicely, the front desk person just pointed to the price list. Not sure if it was because she couldn’t speak good English or was ignoring my question.
