Had a massage by Richard today, and it was definitely one of the best I’ve had!! He does a great job getting in those focus areas, and has a great pressure. 10/10 recommend booking with him!

The perfect place to unwind after a stressful day, as they offer a glass of wine or water before your appointment. As I was led into my room for a facial, I noticed the ornate walls and doors of this room. White , crafted wallpaper, as old as the building, and three maple stained- 9 to 10 foot tall doors that that glided silently on rollers gave this room a feel of timeless warmth and coziness. The facial itself was relaxing and the staff make you feel at home. I already booked my next appointment!

Absolutely amazing!! I am not a massage aficionado by any means but the massage I had here was my favorite that I have ever had. I went in for a full body, relaxation massage and I have never felt so relaxed afterwards. The ambiance here was very peaceful and comfortable right when you walk through the door. I had Jo as my massage therapist and she was so nice and really listened to any specific needs! I recommend this place to anyone needing a relaxing massage.PS I had some difficulty finding the entrance after parking on the street. It’s a little tucked away. But there is a sign to the entrance at the back of the parking lot.

Sokenna was my massage therapist and she did a wonderful job. It was exactly what I needed and hoped for! Great pressure.. It was the perfect combo of deep tissue and relaxation. She was very kind and informative. The office space was nice and clean. Also, all of the staff I encountered were great. I highly recommend and cant wait to come back!

I’m disappointed with how the therapist addressed my needs. I specifically requested only a couple focus areas of my body to be treated on and that I didn’t want a full body massage. She had the audacity to tell me that we’re going to do a full body massage anyway. I should’ve kept refusing, but as a trauma victim, this triggered me, and so I shutdown and faked it till I made it. The massage itself was not deep tissue and there was one stretch where it felt like my collarbone was being pressed on too hard. My neck was also worked on for maybe two minutes which was one of my prime issues. And I know communication is key but I just froze the whole time because once again I had no control of my body. Another thing is they only use coconut oil, so I’m not sure how they would address someone who was allergic to it. I do know of a therapist named Payton who works here and I would highly recommend her! Overall, I’m not trying to bash the therapist I had, but the client’s needs should come first over what the therapist thinks is better. Pros: The staff itself was very welcoming and the inside was very pretty and relaxing.

I have nothing but glowing things to say about this place. However this last experience was truly above and beyond. I booked a same day appointment online for later that evening. Upon arriving, the staff informed me that the therapist I booked w/ was out with the flu HOWEVER the owner Christy kindly stepped in to do the massage. Excellent customer service and obviously an owner who cares about her clients and business practices. Then the massage that she gave me was deep and detail oriented in the problem areas. I cannot wait to book my next massage here knowing Ill get excellent service, a wonderful massage, and be supporting a local business owned by people who truly care for their customers.

Kelly was amazing! Excellent customer service before, during, and after my massage. I even arrived 10 mins late and still received my full 60 minute massage (which most places do not do). Highly recommend the aromatherapy massage! Relaxation heaven!

Jo gave me the best massage Ive ever had. She was so thorough and deliberate. Gentle but firm. Really great. Cant wait to go again!

Outstanding service and wonderful message. My wife and I had the same masseuse and we both got what we like. Im medium firm, and she as she puts it is a firm believer that if it doesnt hurt its not worth it. Location was a little difficult to find but once we did I liked its tucked away quantness. Overall two thumbs up!

Awesome boutique massage place! Had an amazing first experience with my wife to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Super friendly staff and as a anniversary treat they offered us a glass of complimentary wine after our massage to enjoy in their relaxation lounge.

Richard was incredible. This specific massage was focused on relieving symptoms of whiplash from a snowboarding accident. Richard was very informative prior to the massage and knowledgeable on how to relieve the targeted area of my neck and shoulders. I left feeling almost fully recovered after dealing with pain that had persisted for two weeks. Highly recommend him!

Had an excellent deep tissue massage to work out some very tight and uncomfortable muscles. Caitlin used just the right amount of pressure to relieve the knots. This is my second visit there and first time with Caitlin. I would definitely go back to see her again!

Carpe Diem was able to fit me in for a spur-of-the-moment same-day massage. The office itself was a beautiful, quiet, relaxing space that I settled into immediately. Payton was my therapist and was wonderful: she listened to my complaints and anticipated my needs. She was confident enough to dig deep into my tissue to address the problems, yet never caused me pain. 10/10. Would come back next week.

Absolutely love this place! Everything is amazing from the historic rooms and decor to the massages and facials. I just tried the Carpe Diem Signature Facial and it was amazing. I decided to add a 30 mn massage prior to and I feel so relaxed and my skin is glowing.

One of the best massages that I have ever received. Caitlyn really took her time to address the issues that I was having with my lower back. Would recommend a 1000x over. 😊 Very peaceful and lovely staff.

I love this place. They accept my insurance so I only pay my $20 deductible. Update: Dianne has really helped me. My left leg has been so messed up over the past few months that Ive been walking with a limp. Ive seen Dianne twice now and my leg is doing so much better. Going back again this Saturday. Highly recommended.

Beautiful space. I love the vision for bringing community together with local art and offerring unique touches like meditation and yoga nidra. The massage rooms are set up so cool too. Love the building and cozy vibe. Friendly staff. This space is doing some really great things in Tacoma.

This is a gem of a massage place. The setting is a quaint little house, it is very nicely decorated and the ambiance was relaxing, the staff was friendly and competent, and my and my partners massage therapists were amazing. I highly recommend Carpe Diem Massage.

Kelly is amazing! After an hour long Swedish massage with the add on of hot stones I was in utter bliss! Absolutely the best gift you can give yourself.

Got a gift card for Christmas and it was amazing! Had a maternity massage and feel comfortable the whole time. Only flaw is parking but it out weighs the experience.

We did a couples massage in the newly expanded portion of the building. We loved the set up and ambiance. As always, staff was profressional and courteous. Of course we will be going back!

Poor busines practice. I went to buy my wife a massage for part of her gift so I show up at 3 pm and there closed. There hours were posted to close at 6 pm.
