Better Living Day Spa

I was somewhat skeptical to try this place after a my appt got pushed back twice (still on the same day) but I’m glad I did. A home turned into a spa, the place is a little dated. However it was clean and the staff weee friendly. It does not have all the modern frills and thrills of other spas in town but I enjoyed my deep tissue massage, facial (thanks Angie!) and sauna experience overall. I probably will try a more modern spa before going back. Even still, I recommend it.

Had an AMAZING massage with Debbie. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She gave an excellent massage. The location was very clean and relaxing. Will definitely be going back.

I have had hundreds of massages by so many different therapists over the years, and they all have certain things they all do that I like. But I could never find one person who can do everything I need them to. However, David at Living Day Spa in Tallahassee does THE BEST JOB! I have never had so much success and progress.

Best deep-tissue massage Ive ever had. David was an expert, and tailored it to my needs. Very kind, patient, and professional, I had such a pleasant experience. The atmosphere of the spa felt cozy and relaxed, as though you were stepping into a home. It was the perfect place to unwind and de-stress. I was visiting here on a trip and wanted to support a local small business. Very glad I did! Definitely recommend!

I had my first 1 hour deep tissue massage here with Angie and it was terrific! She was very considerate and checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. I have had severe headaches and shoulder/neck pain from tension in my muscles, and it feels so much better even just hours after the massage. The place feels very private and secure since it is by appointment only, and the environment was so lovely and warm.

This was my first ever massage and I am in love! The atmosphere was calming and serene. I immediately felt comfortable and listened to. It was all very clean and I felt safe with their covid policies. I have had horrible back/shoulder pain since I was a teen and for the first time I am not in agony. I left standing straighter and feeling lighter than I arrived. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I look forward to my next visit.

Ive been training pretty hard for a fitness event and needed specific muscle attention. I was blown away with the compassion I was met with and felt completely at ease. I cant wait to go back! My hip pain was GREATLY reduced my a 30 minute skilled therapy session, I cant imagine what an hour long session will do!

I love this place. I got her deep tissue massage because of the tension and pain in my shoulder area due to seating at a desk and typing all day. After her 60 minute massage. My back and shoulders were no longer hurting. Another great thing is her next day appointments. If you go to this place; you will not regret it.

The staff here is wonderful, from Megan in reception, the owner Karen, to the therapists & estheticians. Ive had massages with 2 therapists, Angie & Deb, and they were both perfect. They have slightly different styles, but were both relaxing, which was the point. Ive also had a facial, it was the most relaxing facial Ive ever had. I highly recommend this spa.

My husband treated me to a Spa Day for our Anniversary. This was the first Spa I ever treated myself to and I never forgot the experience so there was no looking for any other place to go. They are very professional and the atmosphere is calm and tranquil. I would recommend this place to everyone who needs to unwind and get away for a moment. On top of that everything was neat and very pristine.

So glad I found them! We did a couples massage, I had the aromatherapy and my partner had hot stone. We both loved our massages and will definitely be returning.

I am in love with this spa. Everything was done well and made sure that I was at my best comfort level and needs were met while there. It was my first time going here and will definitely go again. Seems more like a hole in the wall from the outside, but love the person touch and atheistic on the inside.

Ive been coming here for massages for years. Ive always found the atmosphere to be serene, the staff professional and the deep tissue massages the best in town. I love how clean and quiet it is and how conveniently located it is.

I went in for a couples massage. My boyfriends massage was a great experience. Mine was not. It started out with a rushed therapist running in 5 minutes before the appointment and saying she still had to set up. It was asked what I would like when brought into the room. I explained I go to the gym daily which makes me tight and she stopped me to tell me that this was a relaxation massage and not a deep tissue. I understood the difference since I have gotten several massages before, and I did not want a deep tissue, but just a normal muscle massage. Once she began, I received 25 minutes of her rubbing her palms up and down my back, never once using her fingers on any particular muscle nor going any harder than when she initially was applying lotion to my back. She never touched my lower back and when she would feel knots she would just skip that area. I payed an extra 20 dollars to have a couples massage which just meant we were in the same room, nothing more. I began to cry at the end from the frustration of spending 175$ to have coconut oil rubbed in for an hour. To top it off, when my boyfriend called because he saw how upset I was, the lady responded with, Well, what would you like me to do about it? Very unprofessional and I will never come here again. I am more tense coming out of this massage than going in. I now need to go somewhere else to undo what theyve done.

My massage was average but the people at the front desk were talking and laughing on and off throughout the entire massage so it was not relaxing at all. I had mascara on before my facial and she removed part of it but I left with mascara all over my eyes and face. So as she was opening my pores she was rubbing mascara all around. I addressed the issues and they were very rude. Unprofessional and way over priced for what you get. Do not recommend.

I love better day and spa . I normally go when I am feeling down or just need to really relax after a stressful week . Better day and spa is better then Any spa that I have been too. I would recommend this spot anyone whos having a tough day or just simply need an awesome massage there personable and friendly reasonably priced and you really honestly ger your moneys worth.

Excellent athletic massage, staff was extremely helpful and concerned with making sure my sore back was feeling better by the end of my visit! I highly recommend this spa.

If you want an amazing massage, this is the place to go. Ive started going biweekly and my body loves me for it.
