If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This is one of the worst massage places in Michigan (check all the other ratings if you don’t believe me). The therapists routinely short you on your time by showing up late and then ending the massage early. One time I was shorted 25 minutes on a 60 minute massage (15 minutes late start and ended 10 minutes early). When I protested to the manager Laurie, she said that this is company policy and refused to offer me compensation for the time that I paid for but didn’t get. So basically she admitted that it’s company policy to steal time from customers. Unbelievable! will never, ever visit this location again.

Recommend! Have been a member for several years, but just recently able to return with new staff to the Troy location. Love the massages given by Stephanie, including a couples massage and one given to me after a car accident. She’s attentive and skilled. Love the facials by Kellie, she’s knowledgeable, professional and very kind. My skin is glowing after a set of 3 visits!

Yesterday was my Birthday! I scheduled my first massage ever with you all. Online, I was unable to book my massage because it would not go through. But, I was offered to book a Sauna & Stetch Service that displayed the price, $0.00 as an additional service. (I was informed the stretch was unavailable when I arrived). I called to schedule my massage. I booked it to save the time slot because my son is in the hospital and I wanted to visit him first.I received a call early morning to cancel the appointment (therapist not in), and reschedule @ 11am. I arrived and the environment was really nice as well as the customer rep. and therapist. The customer rep. expressed that I could pay after and, reminded the therapist about my Sauna & Stretch. All went well with my service.At Checkout, I was quoted $59 balance for a $40 massage and $0.00 Sauna & Stretch. Then she expressed to me that because I purchased it online, it doesnt show a price but really costs $20.00 (I spent approx 20 mins). I became really upset and decided immediately that I would contact management because it was my birthday, its the ONLY time I had to myself raising my nephew who has Autism and didnt want my day to be off.This experience led me to believe that this was set up purposely to receive the customers. I am ABSOLUTELY DISSATISFIED and would like my money back for the Sauna w/o the Stretch! Additionally, I am going to call Management first thing Monday morning!

Without a doubt this was the best massage I’ve ever received. If you want someone with true healing hands to work on you then Brandon is your guy. He is very professional, friendly, and communicative. I’m personally a deep pressure fan and he was perfect at that and continued to check in to make sure I wasn’t in pain. It was hard not to fall asleep with how relaxing and relieving the massage was. Brandon was also able to relieve a pain in my hip that even doctors couldn’t fix. After the massage we were even able to crack a couple jokes too. From beginning to end the environment was welcoming and relaxing and I definitely felt safe and cared for. I look forward to coming back next time.

Very disappointed. My first massage with Dalisa was wonderful, so I booked a second one. When I showed up for my next appointment, the front door was locked and there was nobody at the desk. I called and nobody answered. So I waited outside knocking for about 5 minutes before someone came and let me in. They checked me in and took me back to the waiting area. About 10 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start, they told me that my therapist was running late. I agreed to wait for her. Another 10 minutes went by and I was told that she was another 20 minutes away. Again, I agreed to wait. I overheard the woman at the front desk talking about an employee getting into an argument with her and walking out. After almost an hour of waiting, I was told that my therapist was still not there and I could reschedule for another time/day. Unfortunately, I have 2 small children and have to arrange for a babysitter in order to do these types of things for myself. I told her that I would have to call back to reschedule and asked what happened. She laughed and said it was a miscommunication. Then mentioned that my therapist was on her way back - confirming my suspicion that she was the employee who walked out. I was not offered any compensation towards a new booking or even an added on service. Instead of signing up for a membership like I was planning to do, they lost a customer for good. If they just would have been honest with me and offered to rebook my appointment right away, I may have considered going back.

Nice lady at front desk. Below average message. Paid for 90 min. Saw the message therapist walk in 10 min late. 10 min of changing time ( not atypical for places) but only got 70 min of actual message. Double issue really as both my wife and I had messages

We travel full time and Ive visited very many Massage Envy locations.This one is very clean and has such a relaxing atmosphere (cannot say this about all Massage Envy locations).The best part is Tanya!!!!! Hands down she is the BEST massage therapist Ive ever experienced. I wish I lived here now so I could book her for every visit!

I asked for a Swedish massage but got hard compresses and digs in my back and side. I didn’t even get my legs, arms or shoulders touched at all. What’s the point of filling out the paperwork describing your preference of the massage you want if they don’t follow it? And I only got a 40 min rather than 60 min massage. I’m exhausted with places like this charging all this money with non experienced workers. Then they wanna know if you will leave a tip.. whatever man.

If you actually want a massage, I wouldnt go here. But if you want to schedule a massage and have it cancelled, this is your place. I have had 4 out of my past 5 massage cancelled, usually the day of or day before.

I recently just moved to Troy and was looking for a new place to get my muscles serviced and this was the first place to show on my maps app so I tried them out. I walked and the clerks made me feel right at home instantly. It’s really nice looking and exquisitely clean, everything you need to feel comfortable which is exactly how you want to feel before getting a massage. They do a really good job!!!!!!

Had a massage scheduled weeks in advance for my wife and Is anniversary and hers had to be canceled less than 2 hours from the appointment because Rosemarie called in yet again it looks like from the reviews. Needless to say mine was canceled as well and will not be going back just to have the massage canceled again. Very frustrating.

I was a first time client at my local Massage Envy in Troy. I am a dancer and performed my biggest show ever- a 4 hour solo show- last Saturday. I was told that Massage Envy was the best local place. I called before and was told that a 90 minute massage for a first timer was the same price as a 60 minute massage- only 50 dollars! I double checked this a few times and confirmed. I was so excited I booked for the same day, and even added aromatherapy!! I came in and had my massage, which was pretty good, not the best but definitely felt good. However when I came out to pay, I was surprised. What I assumed was to be a 60 dollar massage turned out to be 85 dollars. I am extremely disappointed by your company right now as I was not prepared to pay that extra 25 dollars!! As a student, that is quite a bit of money to me (including the larger tip- its even more money). I had a good massage but dont believe Ill be coming back. I really think that accurately representing the price of your services is important, and I was incredibly let down by the unfortunate surprise today. My nice post massage happiness was ruined by being misled by the price. I definitely would have gone somewhere else or only gotten the 60 dollar massage.

Front desk staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. They keep the place clean.The massage therapists are hit-or-miss; never in between.They only have one esthetician, and my appointments have been cancelled twice; not by my choice.When my membership expires, I highly doubt I will ever return here.

Massage I great but they want you to sign up for something Everytime, basically subscribing to pay them for a 1 massage a month that cant be canceled for one year, despite it saying it could be canceled anytime. If you dont get a massage that month you lost it and thanks for the money, 30 days counts as that month so 31st too bad you lost it. Manager of all people lied about the offer in the first place. Keep it simple just get a massage and dont even listen to the aftermath.

Impossible to make an appointment, cancel appointments the day of (1 hr before after waiting 2 weeks to get in). Dont let me forget the massage I walked out of half way through during covid because the therapist was sick (sniffling, coughing and wiping their face with their sleeve). Better off going to the mall for a cheaper and higher quality massage.

I only gave 4 stars because I had such an amazing massage with Rose! Shes a fantastic therapist! I would recommend her in a hot minute!My facial on the other hand was probably the worst Ive had ever! She started late and finished early. The esthetician acted like she was afraid to touch me! I have had a better facial at the school right down the street from here! I had to come home and wash my face from all the products that were left on and not removed properly. I truly wonder if she is just inexperienced or doesnt really like giving facials? I have had many facials over the years and this is by far the most disappointing! My tip reflected it.Go here for the massage, but not a facial!

I have tried the Massage envy clinic a number of times to see which massage therapist I like the best. I tired Phillip, Jerry and Lori. All three were fantastic. They each customized the massage to my particular needs and massage touch. My shoulder blades are always tight and need extra work. They all used a hot towel somewhere during the massage, which was so relaxing and felt so good. I liked that I have 3 great options at this facility. I also want to add that I love the tranquility room where I can have a cup of hot tea while I am waiting for my massage to start. There is plenty of free parking.

My husband and I went to have a couples massage compliments of our daughter. The front desk staff was nice. However the massage therapist that we had were Nisha and Sarah and maybe it was just there technique .. however we get massages often ...not from here and we both woke up feeling worst than when we went.... and I have never had that happen my back feels like I have been hit by a truck... always after I receive a massage I have to use the restroom not this time at all. Hopefully this review helps someone if you go here maybe try other massage therapist😞 these two suck..

Today I had an appointment that got cancelled due to my therapist having an emergency. But I also knew that Kelsie my therapist is having surgery so I understood.As I had planned my day around this appointment I was a “little disappointed” then came Brea, who upon my request, very helpful and able to schedule an appointment at a nearby location. That is customer service at is best. She made the arrangements and MADE MY DAY!!!

This location is literally the worst of the worst. If I could post pictures here I would. I don’t even know where to start. Maybe all the expired product in the retail wall and in the esthetician rooms? Or maybe the black mold growing inside the washing machine they use to clean linens used on clients. Or maybe even the fact that they refuse to pay their employees their full checks so they can “save some money”. If the atmosphere wasn’t enough then I’d say don’t go here just because of the ownership. I’ve never seen a business run this bad. Owners have no morals or values and is just looking to make a quick buck.

I chose to come to Mesage Envy for my birthday today because I visited a location in Chicago and it was amazing! However, I was very displeased with this service today. My massage therapist was great but the environment was terrible. It was cold inside and the front entrance door was proped wide open!!! We are in the middle of winter! To make my visit more uncomfortable the noise next door was really loud, there was beating on the walls, loud talking and the music was playing louder than my rooms tranquillity music. To top it off this location would not take the chains gift card my husband bought me for Christmas. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! They do not put the customer first.

I went to this location, this past Wednesday afternoon and the service was okay. I only say ok because the therapist was a novice and just needed some more training. My issue is the manager that was on staff. I had a gift card and tried to use it for my service and the front desk associate couldnt find it in the system. The manager said it was expired but no expiration date was on it. When I had questions, she sat in her office and never had the tact to converse with me face to face. She ignored me at first and then gave me a nonchalant response as to contacting the owner and getting back to me. This was never done. I am in the service industry and found it very offensive to be talked at through a wall. I will not be recommending this place, nor will I ever return. A company is only as great as its leadership. Horrible manager!!

Couple days ago, I made appointment today at 7h, but unfortunately I have accident, I don’t have the car to drive any where . So I call to cancel my appointment, The guy answer phone told me they will charge 27 dollars something for cancel fee ( cancel same day, My son bought for me the gift , I have been use 1 time on last 3-4 week, and today I would like to come back... BUT... I won’t coming back again, the guy answer phone so rule, I try to explain the reason is “ car accident “ but he wasn’t care, I cancel last minute because I had car accident , I can’t plan for my accident. Ok. Now I can tell ,envy massage is not good buisiness. It’s hard to find the place “ worse” like that. I have credit store 25 buck, so I have no choice , no chance to take money back any way. I told my son, he s not smart to chose this place for my gift on “ mother’s day,

Services may be ok but if you are the sort who cares about how a business treats its staff then find another massage parlor. Also the reviews are padded since the owners have given themselves five star reviews. Probably common practice on here but with so few overall reviews it drastically affects the average... Keep that in mind when looking at the overall score

Wife & I went for couples massages, the girl who did mine started 5-8 minutes late & left about 10 minutes early. I didnt complain about it because I didnt want to ruin our night. However I cant recommend them

The manager on duty(specialist) is completely rude and yells at women and wont allow them to talk. I am completely displeased by the management on 03/14/19. I will not be returning to this location as I do not condone such behavior from one adult to another; especially a man towards a woman. I was also charged for double the amount that I should have been charged for the cancellation policy. My credit card is being disputed for fraud now because he fraudulently charged my credit card $47.50 when he was NOT authorized to do so after screaming at me like I was stupid and worthless. Do not go to the Troy location until this behavior is no longer occurring.

The ladies at the desk are excellent! They looked into a gift card I had a balance on that didnt seem to have a balance. They trused and graciously gave me the balance that I assumed was on there. It made me feel appreciated as a customer.However the non-introductory prices are not listed on the website & can be a tad misleading.Au-ping is a fantastic and professional masseus and urges her clients to come back but I cannot afford to be a regular.😕

Very disappointed with there services.I signed up for the membership and saw that I am getting charged more then if I would go any were else.There have been times I have gone in and they scheduled me for the wrong day.I get 60min massages and they only give you 45mins. Worst massage place I have ever been to never will I go back to this location ever again.

I was very disappointed in this experience. First I didn’t get the 60 min message. It was more like 40 min. So even with the 5 min dress before and after i was shorted 10 min. When I asked about it they said I was late which I wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. And I will not be going back.
