I absolutely love this massage place! I most certainly have found my new spot! I learned of this spa while searching on Google looking for a massage and decided to give it a try. I called up there and the lady who answered the phone was so nice and very helpful ! She was able to schedule me for a same day spot within an hour! I was very pleased! I was very impressed when walking in and loved the decor! It was such a calming and peaceful atmosphere! I was greeted by my massage therapist Edwin and he was very polite and kind to me! I overall enjoyed my experience with him! I had the Swedish massage and he was very thorough, took his time, and his technique was very symmetrical which I loved! I most certainly will be returning back here and look forward to trying the Vichy shower!Update: The couples massage is amazing! I love how the room is decorated!! Ive uploaded updated pictures! Sy & Cynthia are an amazing team and Id highly recommend them for your couples massage!

I had a wonderful experience with Cynthia. The spa was very clean. Cynthia made me feel welcome and comfortable. I had the Vichy scrub which I had never done before and it felt amazing. The body scrub used smelled so good too! I will definitely recommend Cynthia and this spa to others. An added bonus was that I was able to get in there for an appointment within just a couple of hours of contacting the spa. The person answering the phone was very helpful and professional.

I am so grateful I took the time during a family trip to restore myself with the services of Back To Life Spa. Cynthia was absolutely wonderful. From the Swedish massage package through the Vichy shower and scrub. Ive been getting massage for over 25 years and Im pretty picky, because Ive had amazing therapists. Ive been to Cynthia now around 7 or 8 times, and she is at the top of my list of great therapists! She is fantastic!! I have so many great things to say about her and her business. I think my favorite thing about her massage is she gives great pressure without pain, and yet when I leave, my pain points are gone and I feel so relaxed. I always get 90 minutes, and most of the time, when its close to the end I ask if we can extend to 2 hours because I dont want it to end 😅 But, she is popular and typically booked (as the best always are).I always feel relaxed and I already think of her as a friend. She is a really good person, and her vision and passion for her spa is really special. I feel so blessed to have found this gem of a place and gem of a person! I highly recommend. She is worthy of your time, trust and hard earned money.

What an amazing experience that felt so refreshing and relaxing. Purchased the BTL 60 min couples massage for my boyfriend for his birthday. Edwin and Cynthia were spectacular, both so professional and kind. Cynthia really got into the knots for my boyfriend with Edwin giving a relaxing muscle releasing massage. Both asking what areas to work on prior to actually starting the hour. Very happy with this experience and plan to come back in the future!

Writing this review after an amazing experience on 7/11/24. I’ve been with a local masseuse for the past 2 years, and she ended up leaving abruptly. I then went on a search, with little hope that I would find someone of the same quality and intensity to continue my monthly sessions.But honey let me tell you. Ms. Cynthia exceeded my expectations and more. Drove by the place & decided to book online for 2 days later. The experience was great! All of her reviews are legit, and you can add mine to the list. My husband has already booked his appointment for this weekend and I’ve scheduled my next !I would highly recommend you NOT to book a massage with Cynthia if you have anything planned for the remainder of the day. They need to change the name to “Back To Sleep Massage”. Run, don’t walk y’all. See you next month honey!

My hubby and I were in town celebrating our Pearl Anniversary. We decided to treat ourselves to our first couples massage. Cynthia and Edwin were awesome. They both have hands of magic. We felt so relaxed. I think we both dozed off. Definitely a great celebratory experience.

Cynthia is not only the best massage therapist my wife and I have had in our 20+ years of massages, but she is both professional and personable in every aspect of her care. We have been seeing her for 90-minute sessions for more than a year now and we will continue to see her in the future. Let me first say this, Cynthia. T is the truth. She is the best massage therapist I ever had. She worked all those knots in my back and my back stopped hurting for the most part. I tried the vichy shower massage, and i had the most Pleasurable experience. It is an 1hour and 10mins of regular massaging and 10 mins of a shower raise. The water felt so good on my skin. 10/10 would recommend. I will be back in the future

Out of town guest here. Let me start by saying Cynthia is the best and she is the bar. Literally. I’ve had 30-40 different therapists and I am so sad that she is 6 hours from home. If you’re debating if this is the spot or not, stop searching I assure you it won’t be as good as this spot. If and when I am in Virginia Beach again, this will be a HIGHLIGHT to the trip. A+++

She always give 100 percent of EVERYTHING she got inside of her and the pressure is always perfect, never to hard, never to rough just Perfect. Back to life is for real! I have been seeing Cynthia for massages for a couple of years now. After getting massages by different therapists over the years, I knew I was going to stay with Cynthia after our first session. Her hands are healing and I tell her that every time. Whether I have seen her for hip pain, neck pain or back pain, she always helps me feel great afterwards. I love her techniques, her tools. Combine that with her intuition on how to zone in on the problem area, she is just great. The new studio is beautiful, clean, has ample parking and in a great centralized location. My only massage therapist is Cynthia. She really listens to what you are needing to be worked on. She does more than just massage. She adds a lot of stretching, hot stones and bamboo sticks. Have have been going to her for over 4 years and she is amazing. The rates are very reasonable also. Do nothing less than 1 1/2 hrs. I promise you will not regret using her services.
