My boyfriend and I came here again to get our second couples massage, and it was amazing just like it was the first time! The staff are very nice and accomodating to your needs. I have a sensitive body, so they made sure to be gentle with me. My boyfriend can withstand more pressure, so they gave him a deep tissue massage. It was very relaxing and the staff checked on us multiple times. They are all super sweet and Pembroke Day Spa has become my favorite place to get massages. I recommend coming here as you will receive amazing service!!

We have had massages at many of the finest resorts ( Greenbrier etc) and we were very impressed with the massages at Pembroke Day Spa. My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage and it was incredible. The ladies were very professional and the place was very clean and relaxing. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

My husband booked a couple’s massage for us here. I would have never known about this place as it’s located in a corner in a tiny shopping center! However, when we walked in, we were warmly greeted and the business was inviting and clean. The massage beds used were comfortable and the sheets were clean. My massage therapist was Vivian and she was awesome. Best massage I’ve ever had, hands down. My husband had Sherry as his massage therapist. He said she did a wonderful job and really got a lot of his tightness out. I already recommended this place to my friends. We will be going back for our next massage! Thank you Vivian and Sherry.

This has been the best massage spa that I’ve been to in a while and I’ve tried a lot of places in VB and Chesapeake. I’ve been going here weekly and sometimes bi-weekly since early this year and I always feel great leaving the massage. Sherry has great attention to detail and they pay attention to your needs as far as problem areas and applying the right amount of pressure that you need or ask for. Mary is also great and I’ve had her multiple times when I’ve ask for really deep pressure. I’ve brought some friends who also enjoyed their massage and one friend even said she fell asleep because it was extremely relaxing!

Pembroke Day Spa is a great spa.Sherry and Mary are amazing at their craft. Took my wife, for our end of year and into the new year couples massage, and when I say great spa, I really mean best in the area. My wife and I been to many in this area and by far this is the best one. I had an incredible massage experience at this place, and I cant recommend it enough. Mary, my massage therapist, truly has god-like hands and elbows. She was exceptional at finding and working out all the knots in my back as well as cracking bones, providing a level of relief in my tense muscles that I havent experienced in a long time.Not only did Marys skilled hands work wonders, but she also incorporated a fantastic stretching routine that left me feeling incredibly rejuvenated. The combination of her expertise and the serene ambiance of the establishment made for a truly wonderful experience. Next time Im in the area, I will be definitely coming by again.I do want to note that although they prefer cash, they can take card. I did a 90 min full body massage and I paid $100 + $5 card fee. Had a very relaxing couples massage with Sherry and Mary. Came in and we were promptly greeted and led to our room. The place was very clean and relaxing. After a long flight my lower back was sore and Sherry was able to focus on the areas that needed attention. My wife had Mary and she was excellent as well. Both ladies were excellent at what they do and very professional. Would recommend to anyone.

I visited Pembroke day spa today for the first time, and requested Sherry (based on reviews). She is as advertised if not better. It was immediately obvious she had done massage for 10 years, as her technique and flow were so natural. I was comfortable within the first minute. When I was quiet, so was she. When I talked, she was a great conversation. Everything about the appointment was both professional and wonderful. She is clearly a good person, and I would highly recommend her or any of her staff. My husband and I got a couple massage for our anniversary very nice experience very clean, professional. The massage felt great and my husband and I enjoyed our self. My husband is a very big guy so he was concerned that the pressure wouldn’t be sufficient but the pressure was very sufficient. The massage therapist was very strong and the pressure was great. Lucy is a wonderful massage therapist. She listens when I tell her about my trouble areas and customizes the massage to meet my needs. I leave pain free and feeling rejuvenated. The owner Sherry is always kind to me, she often takes time to great me when i arrive and ask about my experience as I leave. Wonderful massage and atmosphere!

My husband and I got the couples massage for one hour by Lucy and sherry. They were amazing and had awesomeTechnique for both of us. It feels like you are healed after you are done. I have horrible pain in my sciatic pain and it heals it immediately after for months. This is my go to spot. I told my whole family about them and now they go and love it. Highly recommended!

The ladies do a good job. I’ve been here multiple times & the last two times I had nasty attitudes about leaving too little as a tip. They don’t even try to hide the lack of professionalism when is comes to check out. The first time it happened it was a couples massage & the lady said there was money missing, me confused because I made sure the $140 were there, so we gave 20$ extra. The second time I did leave a tip and the lady said this is it?! The whole expression on her face changed. They rather be nasty when a tip is not given and loose a customer. Rather than be nice about it and keep a long term customer. ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽

My bf booked me a massage for my birthday and from the moment I walked in, Sherry was expecting me and also gave me a little welcome gift bag for my birthday which I thought was really nice. She made me feel very warm and relaxed.. perfect pressure points and she also added hot stones and gave extra attention on my neck and shoulders due to a car accident I had a week prior. I will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone!

Sherry was absolutely amazing! I went in for a deep tissue massage and she delivered. I could feel every muscle relaxing and areas that I wasnt even aware that were tense and tight were immediately loosened up.It was a last minute decision to get a massage and they were able to get me in 20 minutes after I called. I didnt have time to completely look through the services, but I knew I wanted deep tissue. I was very pleasantly surprised that it also included hot rocks.The atmosphere is also very relaxing and nice. Sherry and the other lady are very friendly.I am definitely going again. The price is excellent and they even have a stamp card for a discount on the 6th visit.

She was absolutely amazing! She is very strong, and was able to easily find my trouble spots and successfully work them out. She is a very charming young lady, and she was wonderful to talk to. If you need a firm or deep tissue massage, she’s your girl. I’m sure she could do a great job with a lighter touch as well, if that’s your thing. The only disappointment I had was when she said the massage was over. The massage was 90 minutes, but I wish it could last all day. I highly recommend you give Vivian a try. Remember to tip well. This spa deserves 10 stars! I dare say the best massage I have ever had! The place is very clean and my masseur is very polite. Vivian gave me a 90-minute professional full-body massage, which I needed very much, and applied the right amount of pressure where I needed it most. Vivian asked about the pressure during the massage, and she adapted to my request. I told her that I had a long-term back problem, but after the massage today, I felt very relaxed and my back problem disappeared. This makes me feel that I have a whole new body. I called to see if they had availability today and thankfully they did. When I arrived, it was no wait. It was clean and smelled great. Vivian greeted me at the front desk. She was so energetic, she suggested the deep tissue. Vivian was also my masseuse. She used her strength to rub knots out. She had great communication about the pressure and the room temperature. She used her hands and her forearm which I really like. Very relaxing. It was an amazing experience.She asked me to flip over and to have my mask on. I really appreciate the businesses who are firm on mask policy.

From the beginning to the end Sherry and Vivian where very polite and friendly, my wife and me went for a couples massage and was the best massage and experience we have had yet. The facility was very clean and very inviting. My back had been giving me trouble for about 4 months and my wife had taken a fall about 2 months ago and hurt her back when we left I could bend over and touch my feet for the first time in 4 months without pain and my wife’s back didn’t hurt her either, I would highly recommend them to everyone and we will be back thank you Sherry and Vivian your the bomb.

I was in an accident 2 weeks ago, and had a pretty significant injury resulting in nearly constant and intense pain in my neck and back. I searched for a online for somewhere to give me a massage and saw the normal reviews, the chain stores and what not. Everyone’s prices seemed pretty steep and reviews were pretty “meh”. Then, the Google algorithm brought me to Pembroke Day Spa, it was around the corner from me and the reviews were stellar. I figured I’d give them a call.Not only were they able to get me in almost immediately on a Saturday, it was fantastic! My masseur was Vivian, and she did a 90 minute deep tissue massage. She took such amazing care of me , I’m in heaven. I’m not exaggerating when I say I can take a deep breath for the first time in almost 2 weeks. Their prices were more than reasonable and the reviews did not lie, I feel better than I have in weeks. I will be coming back as much as I can.

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. To start with, whoever greeted me when I went inside, who apparently is only the receptionist, is who I thought was going to give me a massage, as she told me the previous day that I had to schedule an appointment when I walked in (which wasnt an issue, just something to note). So, I get set up in the parlor, face down, and Im making small talk with the woman I thought was the woman who greeted me, as she was massaging me, and this woman couldnt speak a lick of english or even understand what I was saying. I found out after the massage was over and I opened my eyes, that it was a much older woman. This is what you would call bait and switch anywhere else. Nevertheless, I gave the older woman a 20 dollar tip as I typically do when at massage parlors. There was no reaction whatsoever from her; I might as well have given her some gravel from outside, or something else she couldnt compute as something you give a stranger for performing a task for you.Now, on to the massage.While I laid there during the two-hour massage, I got to hear the one track that plays in this supposed feel better so you can live better, in a relaxing environment, over and over. Its only one track, people; and its not long at all. Surely, since the advent of CDs, this could have been remedied very easily. Not so, at this place. Then theres the atmosphere. Below room temperature, while receiving a massage, is not comfortable. Even moreso, when they apply hot rocks without anything resembling a warning when youre face down on a table, and then youre left freezing and shaking with your muscles all tensing back up afterward in the relaxing atmosphere.Most importantly, and the icing on the cake? That the woman massaging me did something to my lower back when she popped it (that I didnt feel until after I got home and bent down to untie my shoes like I normally do), so Ive been in debilitating and restrictive pain most of the month. My sister, who is a licensed massage therapist, asked me questions regarding the massage, and told me the woman who massaged me did something wrong and did something to my sciatic nerve.I went to Pembroke Day Spa on the 4th of July, and its now the 21st. Im still in pain; and I thought it was mostly over, when I bent down to tie a shoe today, and it came roaring back at full strength. The lower part of my back, at the hips level, has been inflamed and swollen throughout the month.Im guessing, that everyone who gave this place 5 stars, were given a massage by the woman who greeted me at the door (Sherry, possibly), or some other woman than the one I had. And, they have a much looser tolerance for quality control when it comes to massage parlors. If you get a massage here, youre taking a risk; let me tell you.

Really enjoyed our experience today. We were on vacation so it was kind of last min called in around 11am and was able to get in the same day for 2. It cost about $70 each, for an hour, if you pay in cash . The atmosphere was wonderful the facility was clean and smelled wonderful. The two ladies had a good and welcoming spirit about them. They made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our services, if you need more or less pressurejust let them know. I would recommend, and if I visit the city I will come again

Sherry was WONDERFUL! Honestly, this was the best massage Ive ever had. She took her time to really work through all the kinks and knots in my neck and shoulders. She was very strong and really got into my muscles like I needed. I 100% recommend this spa for the quality, price, and service!

Went to the Grand Opening on Monday to show support. The spa is very clean. I was very impressed to see that a lot of work had been done to ensure an inviting experience. Everything looks new inside. The tables are new! The staff is very friendly. The main reason I made it a point to show my support to this spa is because I know the staff(Dora and Sherry) from a previous location. Dora and Sherry are two of the nicest people you will ever encounter. Best massages I’ve received anywhere! I’m a big fan of deep tissue. Both ladies have strong hands. Whenever my muscles ache I always make an appointment. I will continue to show my support to these ladies. Don’t miss out!

I don’t know if I went on the wrong day, but I sadly did not receive any sort of service as explained in these previous comments. The staff was definitely friendly and welcoming but unfortunately 5 minutes into the massage I wanted to leave. It was very clear that the person providing the service did not know what she was doing or much about the human anatomy. It saddens me to leave this comment seeing as I was super hopeful after seeing the past reviews but I can honestly say it was the worst massage I’ve ever experienced.The pricing is decent so if you would like to take the chance, maybe you will have better luck than me.

It is a PROFESSIONAL massage spa with a relaxing atmosphere. The masseuse I usually have moved away recently. However, a new one was able to get the knots and strains that have been nagging me for days. As a repeat customer, every time I leave, I feel like a whole new person.

As a first time client on 1-21-2021, I was VERY PLEASED with my initial appearance of this place. Pictures previously posted were very accurate! I was met immediately by a lady who went over prices and options up front with no hidden charges ect. My massage room was very clean and tidy as well as the atmosphere.The same lady who met me up front did my deep tissue massage. She was very professional and ensured that comfort and relaxation were key. She was great in finding tight spots as well as trouble areas and working through them. She has my continued business.

Congratulations to Sherry and Dora. I have been getting massages from Sherry for approximately two years and she is wonderful. Of all the massage therapist Ive had to work on me, she is the best ever. Since she has been working on me my chronic back pain is not anywhere near as bothersome as it used to be. For me Sherry is the best ever and Ive had massages both here in the U.S. and in Europe for over a decade. In addition, she takes serious precautions fighting the Covid-19 virus. I feel safe going to their Spa. But, even so, as required I wear a mask.

This was my first time here. It was clean and the whole staff was so friendly ! Cant forget to mention these prices are too good to pass up! I don’t usually leave reviews but for this place I would do anything. My boyfriend and I went in for a couple’s massage and it was amazing. Vivian and Sherry were so wonderful and did an amazing job. The hot stones were our favorite part!

I have been a customer of Sherry and Dora for 5 years. Dora is an awesome therapist, friendly and concerned about the quality of the massage being given. Sherry has picked a great lady when she chose Dora. I highly recommend Pembroke Day, they are upright, professional, very clean and no nonsense Spa. I will stay with this Spa.

The massage technique was on point for me Lucy was awesome my wife said Sherry was just as good I am definitely going back to get a real thorough massage, best I have had in the area.

Came in for a Saturday afternoon massage after a long week. Vivian took all my stress away. The atmosphere, relaxing music, and most importantly the massage was fantastic. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Honestly from the moment i walked in, something in the atmosphere told me that that was about to be the best massage i’ve ever gotten. the room was cutely decorated and smelled so nice, and as soon as my massage started i immediately felt at ease and felt like i was floating! i think my most favorite thing about my massage was that my masseuse wasn’t shy at all about making sure she got deep down into my muscles. if there was an area she couldn’t reach good enough she would climb onto the table and made sure to put on that pressure! from my back, to my arms, legs, feet, neck and even my glutes!! both of the young ladies who work at this parlor put in great work and effort into their massages and i highly recommend coming here! i know i will return very soon!

Best massage Ive had in a while. Exceptionally clean inside and excellent customer service. No craziness with payments like some places, you pay in full; no half payment over the phone nonsense, no 15 minute late fee, etc.

Vivian was amazing!! I was able to get an appointment the same day. She was beyond warm and attentive. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the massage. I will be back!!

Very professional, very friendly, and the massage was very good. I was afraid that the massage would be too gentle and not effective, but I was wrong. They know what they are doing and I felt amazing walking out. Will be bringing my spouse back for the couple’s massage!

I loved this place. she fit me in same day for an hour long deep tissue massage. it felt so amazing and she applied the perfect amount of pressure. the hot stones and lavender oil add ons are a necessity!

Came to this location for the first time, and I was amazed! I asked for deep tissue, and it was the best deep tissue massage I ever received. She worked out my trigger (tender) points. Couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Definitely recommend!

Found this massage place online, scheduled a couples massage same day. Very clean and amazing customer service. Touch is gentle but pressure is perfect. We did one Swedish and one deep tissue, we will be back to schedule another one.
