Didnt have too many ingredients that day for the mixed drinks I like......However I will give it another try when Im back that way!!! My bartender was awesome and the music had Good Vibes...

Went for my dirty 30 and the bartender Ashley showed me one of the best nights I’ve had in a long while!!! Great service,&great people will definitely be back SOON!

Advertising happy hour, but they dont know whats on it... said its just random things and nothing specific. Also no prices on the menu. Besides the bad advertising, everything was good, nice and attentive service.

They didn’t let buyer that is more spacious towards the back of it and it was a great time chilling with Jake and the bartenders were cute and very nice this would be a great place to have a party or to just have a late night with the friends but if you stop by and Jake’s there, remember to tell him, I said hi and tip your server!

Everything was great except I was little scared of the location of this place. But other than that music, drag shows, even the people were awesome. Drinks were a good price and not watered down either. The food was good enough to keep from getting too Tipsy too.

Chemistry is the best bar that welcomed our Barbie themed bachelorette party with open arms!!!! After all Barbie is a Chemist! 💖🍾💓💃

I was staying beachfront and it was a nice night so decided to walk up to Chemistry based on the fact not many clubs on the beachfront are open on a Sunday night. Got there to be patted down by security outside, which is fine; safety first of course. Got inside and some mixture of bass and R&B was on as loud as the volume control would allow...made it difficult to hear. The bar area was pretty intimate in size, full of about 15 people and it seemed back half of the bar was closed off....or everyone migrated around the bar mYbe? I stepped up to the bar immediately with my friend when we walked in and waited and waited making eye contact with several bartenders in about 4 minutes...during the time none of the three made any drinks..just routine behind the counter things. Finally a female bartender told me she would be right with me...as she continued to wash glasses. She did this for about another two minutes, then asked the people next to me if they wanted another drink, made them a drink and then went back to washing glasses. Wow. I am guessing this is a locals bar/club and I didnt look local? ...but my money spends the same as your local $1 local tippers. Extremely disappointed in the service and atmosphere. Felt very disrespected. As VB is less than a 90 min drive for me, I visit the beachfront often, but will never step foot into Chemistry...so unfortunate.

It was the off season so it was kinda dead at just before 8pm on a Friday. Ive heard from the locals that this ghost town picks up around 10pm. Good service, bartender was attentative and asked me what Id like as soon as I walked in. Asked a little about the different types of brews and then we settled on a choice. They serve food here too.

Music was really good and the bartenders are friendly (obviously drunk), but drinks are pretty expensive and weak. The bar was super sticky and wet and I did not appreciate the security guard outside letting a drunk man yell at girls who are minors on the street saying “just a few more years”. That is harassment and extremely inappropriate.

The worst place to go in Virginia Beach Scott overpriced the drinks!!!! Who in the hell charges $27.00 for a long island. We went to entire different location and paid less ($12.00)for top shelf liquor.

Great customer service! Nice atmosphere, music is always great on saturdays. The drinks are always on point! Met the owner and he was a very cool guy. Love coming to this place. They also have hookah perfect for girls night out!

Here now. Great service with bartender mike, they were quick. Food is fantastic. Only thing Id change, drinks are little weak. I want what ImPaying for. Manager (cook) was very awesome, brought us out fries because our onion rings werent done when the rest of our food was. Highway recommend the wings tho.Hookah wasnt too bad either, and DJ IS GREAT CHOICE WITH MUSIC.

I’m a local bartender, never even have stepped foot in this place before. There to meet some friends that knew the dj. 4/28 as I’m showing my id to your bouncer, I say I’m looking for my friends, and he says they aren’t here. Kind of weird because how’s he supposed to know. I step out to call them on the phone and they were in there. So I walked back, bouncer says I’m now not allow inside. So honestly idk what type of clientele this bar is looking for with this bouncer at the front but y’all gotta step it up. I’d throw a 1 star, but the place has potential so take 3

Rating is the only way I know how to contact this establishment the phone number is just a voice box that gives you limited options and none of them are to speak with someone directly.. I just wanted to know if this establishment was 18+ because I wanted to have my 19th birthday party here

Ashley was an amazing bartender, the security is on their jobs and dont allow any nonsense. You will love the hookah longue and the atmosphere there. Its so chill and the music is amazing.

This bar charge $10 dollars for female and $20 for males. Its also super small. There is no dance floor. 4 doubles of jack and cokes cost me $55, way over priced all the way around. I would pass on this in the future.

Horrible experience on July 4. So call manager was drunk and mad disrespectful. I will never return atleast while she’s there. Don’t recommend. Hookah girl and security was cool.

I highly recommend making this place your first stop in Virginia Beach. Great bar food even better drinks and the bartenders are fantastic. Super friendly and great music make for a fantastic night. Make sure to ask for Raven when you come in!

Management is immature calling people trolls. Go to rainbow cactus company youll have a great time there with professional people and great drinks more fun of an environment not a shotgun bar thats dirty.

Mike was a GREAT bartender. Made us feel at home. Great place to chill with a friendly crowd and great hookahs. Wish we had more time to visit more. Ended up getting a room across the street to stay the night.

Chemistry is the place to be in Virginia beach. Amazing Environment, fire dj, drinks are strong, bouncers run solid security keeping the public safe. This is where you wanna be on a Thursday Friday and Saturday night in Virginia Beach. It got so lit, that even the bouncers and bar tenders were mobbing the dance floor w us. Absolute 10/10 get here, FYI I have never written a review in my life but this place was so valid I had to take my thoughts to the internet.

Im just going to give them one star. My experience was a disappointment. Lets begin with the drinks, theyre was barely any alcohol in them. After two drinks I decided not to order anymore. Mostly juice and club soda in a plastic cup. I ended up drinking water the rest of my time there. The hookah which cost $25 was so weak would barely hit. Was not worth the $25 didnt even bother to finish my blueberry flavor tobacco. Finally the food. The bartender showed me a menu. First I order hot wings after waiting about 15 minutes the bartender came back and told me they didnt have any hot wings left. Than she recommended the chicken tenders. After waiting another 10 minutes she comes back and informs me they dont have any chicken tenders. I ended up ordering some fries thats about all they had to offer. Im not going to go into details with the fries. But what a disappointing experience.

Johnny Walker made me and my friend these shrimp and chicken basket that he just free-handed and it was amazing! if you are ever there ask for him and ask for his specially made shrimp or chicken basket!

For there to only be like 5 total people inside, the service was not that great. My drinks had virtually no alcohol in them. As someone that drinks 2 or 3 times a year, no way 2 blue motorcycles shouldn’t have given me a buzz at the very least. I was really disappointed.

Chemistry is unfortunately very small and is usually fairly packed. Because its so packed everyone is kinda sardined together and therefore an easy target for theft. Unfortunately, thats exactly what happened to a friend when she had her phone stolen from there. I realize that this isnt something that management can do much about but the bigger problem is that bar hygiene.The bar was very sticky and the bathrooms a complete mess. I wasnt the biggest fan of the music either however it was tolerable over all I think there are better places to go to by the beach that are just much nicer.

Its like they dont know how to operate an equalizer. Music and atmosphere arent bad but with music at this volume you need to know how set it up. Ill be the first one to tell you my hearing is bad but the treble is way to high.

Woke up with this toilet paper roll in my purse as a reminder to write this review for Chemistry.I was all done up last night in my lucky romper when I went out for a drink. Get to Chemistry and have a few drinks. Go to use the restroom and only once I have my romper completely removed so I can pee do I notice there’s no toilet paper in the stall, not even a piece I could pick off the floor and use a dry part. I wiped the best I could with my fingers and got redressed and oh, guess what else?? No soap at the sink either.So there I go, back to my hookah with a wet romper and pee on my hands. Thankfully the smell of the hookah hid the urine smell, but it didn’t seem to matter. I brought the empty paper tube to the manager to let him know they were out but he didn’t seem to care. Oh well, not my barstool and hookah that now has urine all over it. Let’s see if the manager cares about THAT.So the whole reason I picked Chemistry was because I was trying to find my Twin Flame and last night had the best opportunity due to the lunar cycle. I figured a bar named ‘Chemistry’ was good luck but nope. My core chakra needed some deep renewal beforehand, but after last night I think I need a completely new astral phase before I reunite with my karmic twin.I went out looking for my soul mirror. I came home hungover with an empty toilet paper tube and a romper soaked with piss.

Music was decent. But prices were extremely high compared to the bars right next door. I feel as if the bartenders make the price up as they see fit.

Great atmosphere,great music, drinks are great and decent prices. Definitely gonna go back!!

Nice bar in the city Side of Virginia Beach by the oceanfront staffeither is awesome they showed us great time even gave us a discount on a couple drinks cuz it was so many of us we had a ball for one of my friends birthdays I definitely recommend this place

Drink prices were good however, the bartenders werent really attentive I guess it was because it was before the busy hours and I just wanted to relax but they made great drinks when you could get them.
