Booked a couples massage for me and my husband and it was INCREDIBLE. The folks at Shine On were so gracious with us—we ended up going to the front location (whoops) but we rerouted and luckily they’re relatively close to each other. Our massages were done by Sara and Jonathan. They were both so warm and inviting. We appreciated how sweet and attentive Sara was and how Jonathan’s charisma really put us at ease. They both did an expert job. They listened to our requests and really provided next level service. If we were local we’d be booking with these two on the regular!! Thanks for an amazing experience.

Aleigha was amazing! I got a prenatal massage and she was so knowledgeable! She took her time explaining things and gave me the best massage! Her voice and touch were so soothing and I immediately felt comfortable relaxing around her. Could not recommend her enough!! Anytime I go back to Wilmington I’ll be sure to book with her

I’ve been here multiple time and have even gifted massages to a few friends as well and every single experience is wonderful. Special shout out to Austin who is incredible at what he does and is so knowledgeable. The owner specifically seems to go above and beyond, as I was in need of a last minute gift card and I could not get through on the phone so I messaged over Instagram to check if they had any opportunity for me to swing by between appointments, not only did he call back and assist me but he continued to message me until I was able to get helped. Small, local businesses are the heart of Wilmington and I love to support especially when they are as talented and helpful as those who work at shine on!!

Just had an hour and a half deep tissue massage with Ashleigh and I feel amazing. I recently had a reverse shoulder replacement on one arm and am awaiting the same procedure on the other. Ashleigh is a great listener and a wonderful communicator. She knew exactly how to treat each shoulder, released the tension in my neck and back using hot aromatic towels and hot stones, and relaxed all my muscles with just the perfect amount of pressure. I highly recommend Ashleigh as she is certified and knows what she is doing. Cant wait for my next visit!

I experienced a 90 minute massage with Austin. He was extremely professional, listened to me as I spoke of my problem areas and addressed them with intention and expertise. I am extremely grateful for this experience at Shine On today.

This experience has made our entire experience on Wilmington! The massage was perfect. The massage therapists were phenomenal at their trade,professional, personal, and warm. Had a 75min deep tissue massage with Jonathan. It was the best deep tissue massage Ive had. My lower back and shoulders feel better than they have in months. Glad I decided to book while in town over the weekend. It was worth the trip just for the massage from Jon.

Absolutely love this place! Arielle is a hidden gem here! I have been a regular of hers since she started in December of 2021 and have remained loyal. My husband and I recently had a couples massage there are we both had a great time and felt so relaxed coming off a wedding/honeymoon weekend. Definitely recommend the date night package!

I had Alisha and my gf had malak for a couples massage the day after Valentines Day. Ive never had a masseuse sit me down and ask what I actually want / need out of a massage. I liked that they offered cupping and aromatherapy with their massages. They were both very kind and professional. Not to mention the playlist / music was refreshing and different compared to most spas. They gave us champagne, chocolate and opened the curtains so we could see the view downtown. 10/10 best massage place Ive been to. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful massage last Friday with Jonathan and Aleigha (not sure I spelled that right). We were able to book a couples massage with only 24 hours notice. My gf and I both said it was the best massage we’ve had. Both of them were awesome and very professional. Can’t wait to come back again.

Getting the 90 deep tissue massage with hot stones from the therapist Brittany was a life saver! I didnt even know how bad I needed it but she worked out so many areas that were causing me a lot of discomfort and I left feeling amazed at how much better my mobility was and I look forward to the next one I have already scheduled! She was a great listener, put me at ease and I highly recommend!!

On a getaway with my husband and this was the perfect “date night” package. As a mom of two, with a baby in my arms all day, this was just what I needed. We felt so refreshed leaving there. I believe we had Stacey and John. The atmosphere was so relaxing with beautiful decor. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Its story time today. So I was scheduled to fly out today on American airlines and they cancelled my flight... Now thats a whole different story on its own. The just of it is, I was wound tighter than an old grandfather clock. Since I couldnt fly out for 8 hours, I figured Id kill two birds with one stone. As luck would have it, I found Shine on Massage. I dont know if Ive ever had somebody hit the nail on the head as far as what I needed as much as Jon did today. He took the time to listen to my concerns and what I was looking for all while patiently walking me through what he felt was the best thing (remember, I just got through some of the poorest customer service Ive ever had trying to find a flight). Jon turned my day around. Right now Im sitting at Mellow Mushroom hoping I dont slide off my chair because Im so relaxed. Jon, I hope you take great care of yourself because if I have my way Im coming back. Thank you Shine on Massage for getting me in at the last minute and most of all, for hiring Jon.

I booked 6 massages for my sisters bachelorette trip and the experience was amazing. The staff was friendly and informative. The massage was hands down the best I have ever had. The space is quiet, clean, and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Wilmington!

Posting this review on behalf of my girlfriend, Aleigha was amazing, I have now went back specifically to see her 5 times now, and her hands work out all my tough knots, i work for the post service over 70 hours per week and my release is when i go to get a massage, aleigha never disappoints. Highly recommend her

I booked a couples massage for my husband and me based on another google review that claimed this was the best massage theyd ever received, and Shine On did not disappoint! Megan and Aleigha were both wonderful, and the couples massage was reasonably priced when compared to other day spa type places in Wilmington.Be aware that you wont be able to see this place from the street - its on the 9th floor of an old bank building. However, youll have no problem finding it as they text clear directions the day of your appointment.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Austin and Lucas gave my boyfriend and i great massages and the whole experience was wonderful. We had a couples massage room and they used hot stones, warm towels and even cupping. I am happy I found this place! Thank you Austin and Lucas!!

I was in so much pain and feeling really terrible, so I made a spur of the moment appointment with Aleigha for a 90 minute deep tissue with hot towels and hot stones, and LET ME TELL Y’ALL, this was the most amazing 90 mins I’ve had. She was so relaxing and could get these insane knots in my back and shoulders. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to her for making me feel like a million dollars. Will be going regularly for sure!!

Today was my first experience getting a professional massage, and I could not have went to a better place. Lukas was incredible, not only as a masseuse, but as a warm and welcoming human as well. My anxiety and history of anxiety attacks has prevented me from attempting massage therapy for many years, but being under his care felt safe and secure from the moment I walked in. For the first time in a long time, I feel amazing, both physically and mentally. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

I had a great massage with Holly! She was incredibly nice, listened to my concerns and asked questions to make sure I was getting what I needed. She spent time with me afterwards with at home tips for my trouble areas as well. Environment is very nice and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I went to Shine On Massage Therapy for a couples massage for our anniversary, I liked the reviews so figured wed give it a shot. Only thing I had an issue with was finding the companys location as it is inside another building. My husband had Austin and I had Kayla. They were both very professional and attentive, provided privacy when getting ready for the massage and knocked before entering the room. The environment was very nice, comforting and makes you feel relaxed and safe. Both personel were very respectful and soft spoken. My husband and I do plan to go there again i would highly recommend this company!

I had an amazing experience at Shine On Massage. The setting in the Murchison building is beautiful. It is a very calm and relaxing space. Austin worked with my specific needs and used just enough pressure. He gave me complimentary hot towels during the massage and asked how I was doing throughout. He is very knowledgable about muscles and nerves as well. I highly recommend Shine On. It is also very easy to book appointments online and they offer flexible hours.

The worst part of this massage was that it ended. I made the mistake of booking the 60 min instead of the 90 min couples special massage.Stacys hands were the final nail in the coffin for the back spasm that had been hurting for weeks. Her expert work picked out the worst of the worst and gave me the relief that my should had sought.Aleigha, working on my wife, gave her a fantastic massage and put her at ease. She was the one who greated us and took care of us from start to finish, ending our time together after taking us to the bar for drinks.The only thing that could be imporved was the window on the door into the massage room. Its properly frosted so the issue wasnt privacy, it was the bright light shining into the space.Otherwise the room was cozy and the temp was perfect!Thank you so much for the good time!

I’ve been getting my massages at Shine On for 6 years now. I live abroad, but a few times a year I’m in town and always go to Shine On. All therapists are awesome and my most recent was Austin. I’m a former massage therapist so I appreciate I can speak using terminology that helps us identify my trouble spots. I have excellent results with cupping and I highly recommend it.

What a lovely experience! I was in town from Philly, visiting my sister, and we had the opportunity to get massages together. This was my very first massage and I was excited because I heard wonderful things about Cam and Layla. They exceeded my expectations, making me feel more comfortable than I thought I ever could. From start to finish, this place and the workers were so professional! Good communication, very professional, very knowledgeable. No complaints. I purchased a gift package. I only use it once the owner of the package of five from me told me I have no more massage has left. Also has a customer the receptionist was going back-and-forth with me and the owner explanation was brutal torturous. Being very unprofessional with their communication with customers I’m not sure what the policy of the packages are you get it as a gift and you’re in North Carolina. I thought by law, this will not expires . Also, being in downtown, it’s very hard to find a parking and they don’t reimburse you for . Customer service very unprofessional, not accommodating to answer all of your questions.. I will not recommend this company to anyone to go get any treatmentThe owner has no clue what’s going on shame on them. I have heard from many people this spa is expensive and if you buy a GC to make sure they dont rip you off

I did my research before choosing a massage therapist and Im glad I did. I suffer from migraines and choosing Cameron seemed like a logical choice and he did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxing and he asked several questions throughout my 90 minutes to make sure I was comfortable and that we were targeting my most troublesome places. I feel great and for first day in several weeks I didnt wake up to a massive migraine after my massage yesterday!! I highly recommend Cameron and his staff to anyone who wants a professional and thorough massage!

My husband and I went for a couples massage on our last day in Wilmington. OMG. I literally had the best massage. My husband and I have massage memberships in Richmond, VA, so we’ve both had a number of professional massages. Cameron focused a lot on my problem areas. Not only did he spend a lot of time on the areas, he gave a very intuitive massage to get the knots and tension out. My husband also had a great massage. He came in with sciatic issues and she did a great job focusing on that. I’d honestly come back to Wilmington just to get another massage. Thanks so much Shine On!

My husband and I splurged on a couples massage during our vacation. Cameron and Layla were amazing. This was by far one of the best massages I have ever had. The use a variety of techniques and add aromatherapy and hot stones to the massage at no charge. This was my husbands first time getting a massage and they both made sure he was comfortable. The massage area was clean and very relaxing.I highly recommend giving Shine on massage a try, you wont regret it.

I’m never the type to treat myself to a day of self care day of any sort but one weekend I found myself at Shine On for a facial with Kristen. Right away Kristen asked what expectations I had for my facial, I had no idea how to respond with it being my first experience. We discussed my skin type and how my skin responds to certain products. In the 5 minutes we talked I could tell she already had a plan in mind that would be the best fit for me. It was one of the most relaxing hours of my life and Kristen did a great job and my skin feels better than ever.After visiting Shine On I visited their brother studio, Daggers, where I experienced with Normtec Compression Wraps for the first time. For the first time in months I sat down and enjoyed time to just myself and for a moment in my day I wasn’t aware or concerned about what time of day it even was. I will be returning to both Shine On and Daggers in the future.

Ive been going to Shine On for over a year and my goodness the results are magnificent. Cameron is amazing. He hyper focuses on the knots around my neck and shoulders, just like I ask, and relieves me of A LOT of tension. He for sure brings the pressure! The atmosphere is so calm and welcoming you instantly feel comfortable. You’ll definitely be leaving in a state of bliss. Highly recommended.

My experience at Shine On absolutely exceeded expectations! The staff was so kind and before my facial, Kristen asked questions about my skin and what I was looking to accomplish as a result of the facial. This made me feel like my opinion mattered and like I was truly involved in her preparation process. I was so incredibly relaxed, I didn’t want the hour to end! After my facial, I had the privilege to decompress in Daggers Deep Tissue and Sports Massage, which shares the same owner. While at Daggers, I was able to relax with NormaTec leg compression sleeves. I couldn’t recommend Shine On or Daggers enough!!

I had a massage yesterday with Julie and it was amazing! She did a fabulous job. No complaints at all with the massage!Although, the Shine On website says that hot towels, aromatherapy, and hot stones are part of every massage. I was only given one hot towel during the entire massage. There was no aromatherapy used and no hot stones were used. Those three extras were one of the reasons I booked a massage here. So it was disappointing that they didnt happen.I also have to say that I was a bit disappointed/alarmed when I walked in and two out of the three people working did not have on a mask. Only Julie was wearing a mask. No one else bothered to put theirs on. And after the massage when I went to pay there was another staff person at the register with Julie - also not wearing a mask and Julies mask was not covering her nose. Unfortunately, the lack of masks by the staffers did turn me off from most likely coming back.

We went to Wilmington for our anniversary weekend and got the best massage we’ve ever had at Shine on! Cameron and Layla were so personable and professional and kind. We would highly recommend everyone in Wilmington using their services! Such a great experience for my husband and I!

Shine on is a new favorite for myself and my girlfriend here in the port city! We got a couples massage that was out of this world! Shine on started by assessing whether we had any specific trouble areas in their very welcoming front lobby. Offered us beverages and brought us back to the massage room where they proceeded to make us feel very comfortable. The fact that my girlfriend and I were able to get professional massages at the very same time right next to each other in a comfortable, relaxing and professional atmosphere was fantastic! The massage covered our whole body from head to toe and included everything from deep tissue to aroma therapy and hot stone with hot towels. After the massage Cam and Layla brought us ice cold ph balanced water locally sourced and gave us direction to make sure to stay hydrated. All in all it was a great experience from very friendly and professional staff! Very affordable and we will be going back soon and on a regular basis!

I saw Jaclyn, and she was so intuitive, able to give the perfect amount of pressure and really listened to my needs. I woke up in pain at 2am, and the convenience of booking online and them being able to get me in the same day was a Godsend, for real. The pricing is super reasonable especially for the experience they provide. I also met the owner and another therapist there and they were very sweet. I cant wait to come back, and Ive been spreading the word! 10/10 Would recommend :-D

Austin performed my 1st massage. While I had my doubts about the massage before walking in Austin quickly alleviated any worries. He made sure that I was comfortable and at ease. He was confident and skilled which in turn help put my mind at ease. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I recommend without hesitation and will be returning again.

Shine on Massage is amazing! My boyfriend and I went in for a couples massage and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. I got a deep tissue massage from Layla and it was stunning. She worked on my whole body relieving the pain I had told her about. She also used the cupping technique that many massage therapist dont. Truly the best massage Ive ever had.

I have gone to Cameron twice, and I definitely will be back and recommend them to anyone in the area in need of a good knot releasing and relaxing massage. The space itself is also very pretty and soothing, and I particularly like the soft ambient lighting mixing artificial and natural light here as bright lights/lights from intense exposed bulbs tend to stress me out, so it made it even nicer!

Cam and Layla are the best. We went for a couples massage and both my boyfriend and I have woken up every morning since the massage saying how much better we feel. I have had serious long term pain in my knee and Cam found exactly where the problem stemmed from and worked it out so I can run again without being sore. And Layla fixed my boyfriends concrete back to the point he surfed for almost 12 hours yesterday with no complaint of back pain. Really recommend their services!!!

I am 33 weeks pregnant I got the prenatal massage and I have not had no pain in my back or neck in 2 days.. Jacquelyns recommendation of heating and cold compressions were amazing. She really massaged like she cared and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I even sleep better...

Incredible experience! My husband sees Layla due to his years of lower back pain from running. Luckily the team at Shine On has cured his pain. Cameron does a great job and I try to see him twice a month. Keep it up guys! Always an enjoyable experience!

Just got a facial from Kristen and I feel 30 years younger! It was so relaxing how she incorporated scalp and neck massage with the facial. She caters the appointment to your exact needs. Soothing, calming, honestly everything you would want and more. 10/10 recommend!

I am a local photographer and had spend several days carrying heavy gear all around town while hiking and kayaking to get the shot I wanted. I woke up on my girlfriends birthday after those few days of constant stress and nonstop movement and was unable to turn my neck more than 15 degrees without extreme pain. I called Cameron at Shine On and he made time for an appointment for me. Upon arrival he took one look at me and told me exactly where the stress was located, he was correct and figured this out just by the way I was standing. I had never had a massage before in my life so I was a little unsure. Within 10 seconds of the massage I was mind blow about how much better I felt, the other fifty nine minutes and fifty seconds were almost like a bonus. I will be a return customer and have already told numerous clients and friends about how great of an experience Shine On was for me. Thank you again Cam!

We had a one hour couples massage with Cam and Layla. Atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the massage was incredible. All my tension and stress was rubbed away .Cam was my masseuse, and I highly recommend his magic hands!

Im a little disappointed in the customer service and flexibility I was shown here. I booked with them for a couples massage. Unfortunately I came down with the flu and called Tuesday at 8am leaving a message about rescheduling my Wednesday at 5pm appointment, I called three times over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday to make sure ample time was given to reschedule and I felt the person I spoke with informed me I would still be charged. Im very disappointed with the lack of flexibility in a small business especially given the current times.

I was in extreme need of a massage, thanks to the Quarantine Of 2020. My usual place was booked, so I tried something new. Shine On had an opening in the afternoon (cuz... in two years of my son being on this earth, I decided me and my husband needed some us time to do what we wanted. And we totally wanted to sleep in). Showed up, literally got a text when I got close to give me the building’s code to get in. Walked in to a truly tranquil environment. I mean... “How do you make doors and doors of attorney’s names set the mood” you ask? Idk but they did. I had Starr Porter. And I have had some injuries in my past which give me serious tension in certain places. She did a rundown to feel my problem areas.... DEAD ON. In every single spot. Mind blown. Not only did she work on each area, she gave me tips on what I was doing wrong (in my work environment, etc)... And she also told me what to do to fix these issues. She was a sweetheart... And bless her for trying to understand me with a mask on. 🤦🏻‍♀️ She worked overtime on that. 😂 a muffled mess. She gets 10 stars, but Google only gave me 5 of those. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thanks, Starr! Ready and willing to make the drive again!
