Got kicked out cause supposedly we were sneaking alcohol. My boyfriend ordered 2 shots of alcohol and took them both for liquid courage for karaoke and they didn’t let us participate. “Manager saw your girl sneaking shots so you got to go” we had already tipped our waitress 20$ worst place!

Great bar! Great bartenders! They put on great shows and really support local bands!Jimmy, Shawn, Dreads, Nikki are wonderful!Plus, they told me that May 5th will be their 1st day playing live music outside, which is nice!

If you’ve got something negative to say about this bar or are friends with someone they don’t care for, watch out. They may just bar you for life. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been patronizing the place.Freedom of speech does not exist in this bar.

My number 1 problem is I cant stand the cigarette smoke.#2 if you are a single female planning to go... get there before the crowd or find someone or some friends to ride with because you might be forced to park down the hill, past the sketchy privacy fence and wooded creek to a parking lot that is well lit but behind all other buildings. I wouldnt feel comfortable by myself. I followed by girlfriend down there at daylight and walked with her up then drove her down when we left.The music was great, the service was great, the drinks were good and the food was good - although I only had the fried pickles.The prices are amazing for drinks on Tuesday - if you like domestic and rail. The prices on food, I thought was high.I just couldnt stand the cigarette smoke and the way we smelled when we left.

This is a little gem! Located just off the beaten path! Just saw one of the BEST concerts of my life here! My buddies From Ashes to New on their Still Panicking Tour with special guests: Above Snakes, Fire from the Gods, Kingdom Collapse and Blind Channel. There is a fully stocked bar, plenty of pool tables, floor space for watching your favorite band, or dance music as well as great food! Not far off of Interstate 81, making it very convenient to get to. Right on the outskirts of Winchester, VA.

Great concert venue, great food, friendly staff. You can get right up to the stage which is nice. The only problem is they allow smoking in the pool table area and the smoke is very bad.

Fairly well maintained 9 ft. Diamond pool tables have drop pockets, covered with Simonis Tournament Blue cloth and Diamond lights above. Pockets are not cut tight as is generally the case in pool rooms featuring Diamond tables. Most of the tables roll pretty true. Pool time, food and drinks are reasonably priced in my opinion and experience. Menu is typical roadhouse food fare. Service is easy going. Guys I shoot with and I have played pool here about 10 times beginning November 2021. On 3 of our visits someone has vomited in the men’s room, twice in a sink and once in a urinal. Only in one instance did the house clean up the mess before close. We get the impression it is an accepted norm.

Love the place. Great crowd and loads of pool tables (free Sunday-Wednesday), $1 tacos on Tuesday, fun kareoke 3 nights a week, and plenty of parking. Whats not to love? Getting a drink at the bar can be a bit slow when its busy obviously. Bring your voice out, be a bit patient, and come have a great time.

Great service, great staff, but that hand dryer in the mens room is a g-d JOKE. Paper towels? A better hand dryer? The world may never know....

This place is great to play pool at, and to drink it. I would definitely recommend coming here. I will say, the food is mediocre, but if youve had a few drinks, maybe its just what you need. The pool is also very expensive. My wife and I paid around $22 for 2 hours. Not extremely expensive but more expensive than Ive paid elsewhere. However, they do have full length tables (not super common for pool bars), and the service is exceptional. They wait on you at your pool table just like a dinner table. Once again, I would generally recommend this place.

Very nice bar. Fiancee loved that you could smoke inside. The service was excellent. The nachos could be improved. I didnt like the cheese that was on them.Loved the free pool, and the staff was so nice to explain everything to us.

So my only big issue with this spot is the chain/smoking cigarettes. OMG, you smell it walking up to the building.. then I find out they have a non smoking room, with only one pool table. First come first serve. So we was there I the room for 2hrs, plating music on our phone. It is not very expensive, they had drink specials, with my company, they liked it. To play pool it is free Wednesday thru Sunday..but Saturday it was 5.50 a person per hour. Not sure of the Thursdays and fridays They need a dart area.

This is a great spot to come hangout, something is always going on in here. Service is fantastic and the crowd is very accepting of traveling folks. Alysse is by far my favorite bartender, but everyone behind the bar are great! The deals they have for shooting billiards through the week are also great, bit make sure you get here before all the tables are reserved. The food here is also delicious, and they have a different special every night! I would recommend this establishment ten times out of ten!

Love this place! We stayed in Winchester for the summer. It was our go to for night time fun. The service is amazing, the place is really clean, pool tables are in good condition, beer is cold and the food is amazing. Highly recommend the Blue Fox!!

Karaoke is so fun on Sunday nights there!!

I have been going to blue fox since I was 18 years old(27 now)Place has always been my second home, a place to enjoy myselfBut as of the last few months it hasn’t been that way. It’s not because of the place itself it’s because of a certain worker there, Alysse.At first I didn’t mind her but it has come to a point where I don’t wanna step a foot inside the establishment because of her. A lot and I mean a lot of people I tend to hang around when I go there have the same feelings about her as I do. She is rude, a bully to customers and everyone around her.overall a terrible person to have working at such a great placeShe says the cruelest things to individuals and believes it’s ok.So it truly saddens me that I can’t go into my favorite bar because she has completely ruined my fun whenever I go there.Other than that the place is great, just please make the place feel at home again and not like I’m walking into the devils home

Got some amazing burgers live music was pretty gnarly definitely recommend

Food is pretty tasty, drinks were strong, music is usually great & the staff went above & beyond to find us a pool table when there were no open tables.

5 star service, amazing diamond tables and cues. The bar has a great draft list. PBR, Sweetwater, are my favorites. Theyve got your typical drafts as well as craft brews i believe were brewed for the company.I went on a Monday night, steady, but not busy enough i couldnt get a table. Lots of cool people though, its simply lovely to go into a place like this and be able to conglomerate with like minded individuals.Paige was in charge of pool tables and serving all of them. Ive been a server and thats like a 14 table section, plus hosting and bussing and assigning pool tables. She managed to do all of that on a packed night while maintaining a cheerful demeanor without sacrificing speed or service.

Great staff and food. I love ambience and the Billiards portion is my favorite aspect and as a cake topper they offer free pool quite often. Youre in Great hands at the Blue Fox plus its a great music venue they get all sorts of artist. Theres not being said bout this Gem inside of Winchester Virginia

My pulled pork bbq was great. Server checked on us regularly. Had fun at the billiards table. Pretty nice pool hall.

Had their mushroom swiss burger with tater tots and it was exactly what a burger should be: well seasoned, cooked to a perfect medium rare, hot, and juicy. The tater tots were crispy, hot, and not greasy at all! Cant wait to try other foods in their menu. It was busy but the bartenders were on top of everything!

I have been coming there for years, and it was a friendly and amazing atmosphere where you could smoke and not worry about drinks limits. Food quality was fair and staff was friendly , the last few years the place became dangerous especially in the parking lots those daring enough to park on the connection strip between the upper and lower parking lot risk drunks bumping their cars and it happened a lot. They had cops going through their parking lot writing down license plates and tracking how long you where there to pull you over down the road. The fabric parking lot use to be a safe place away from the chaos to park but now the cops patrol their too and you can fined or towed .But the worst experience there was I ran into some work friends I hadn’t seen in years there and they had been there a while so they invited me to their table, they end up ghosting towards the end of the night and when I go to close my tab at the end of the night they say I owe the whole tables bill 600 bucks when I had three drinks they said I could pay or they would call the cops, being too buzzed for cop interactions I was basically forced to pay felt like extortion.The place also claims no weapons but they are definitely there and large groups can try and jump people in the parking lot, only place more road house like is touch of Texas

Went for karaoke night. The DJ was good, and had all the songs me and my group wanted to sing. Food was okay, nothing special. I would give a better review, but for me personally, I dont enjoy bars that allow indoor smoking. It made us leave earlier. I know others dont care, but just a warning for those who do. If you dont mind it, then its a good place to go.

When here the night before my two friends got married. Nice dive bar with amazing bands. The night we went had one of the best bands Ive heard in a long time at a bar.Pretty much had pitches of beer with my friends so could not give you a review on mixed drinks nevertheless friendly bartender and waitstaff.There was a cover at the door $10, if youve read my reviews before you know Im not a fan of a cover charge at a bar but in this case I will make an exception.The audio engineer that was running the sound that night definitely knew what he was doing the sound was crisp and had drive not muddy at all. Great job man!

The best. One of only a few venues built around consistently staging great bands. Great food, great pool tables, sound system, lighting, and legit stage. Bartenders and staff are all welcoming and take good care of their guests. Awesome.

Manager was very rude and disrespectful to small group of Soldiers. Group was accused of sharing alcoholic drinks to minors by other patrons and servers. manger came up to table and actually put her nose in the cup, to smell for alcohol. She then proceeded to drink out of the straw! of both cups. When told off her reasoning for doing it was because one of the cups “were done with anyways” and even after she was still suspicious of group. Even after they politely explained to her., she continued to harass and yell at them. Being extremely rude and defensive. Her story changed more than 5x and when asked any questions she never would answer. She later banned and kicked out the group. I Can’t believe this happened! It was just unbelievable and will not be going back here again.

This place has very local feel, a stage with bands on one side and a fair amount of pool tables on the other, I didn’t count how many.One interesting thing about the atmosphere, it has a unique combo of one of the happiest, friendliest hostess standing next to the grumpiest doorman I have encountered. I have never felt so welcomed and unwelcomed at the same time.

Great for music and drinks. - 5 stars Sucks if you want to breathe and not smell like an ash tray and in need of a shower when you go home. - 1 star - They do a great service to the area for booking bands and charitable/memorial shows. Staff is always top notch. Pool specials rock. Have never had the food, but I hear its decent as well. Definitely worth checking out, so long as you dont have breathing issues. If you have asthma, allergies or cystic fibrosis, stay away. If you smoke, youll be pleased to not have to freeze outside in the winter to do so.

Very poor customer service and nasty actitud with delivery drivers. 👎🏻 Like some places that sign up for delivery and when the drivers go to pick up the orders they don’t even look at you or ask you how can they help you. You need to pick the order by the bar and the bartender with a disrespectful behavior.

I have been going there for a couple years now, and Ive never had anything to really complain about. People are pretty nice, and its laid back. Taco Tuesday night offers great prices from 6 to 8.

So I have only ever been to the Blue Fox on two separate occasions. On this outing I had no idea that the pool hall was separate from the stage area, and my server Asia made sure I got my door fee returned to me cause I was only there to play pool and, enjoy some beer. Her Manger was very nice and returned my door fee. I will definitely be coming back because the Blue Fox knows how to take care of new clients. So if you are planning on going out for the night to enjoy yourself while playing pool and downing some brew I will absolutely recommend this establishment, and if I may, ask for Asia! She is very friendly and sweet. Also 1$ jello shooters!!!!!!!

Sunday thru Wednesday free pool and a wonderful bar available.... People are great and who doesnt enjoy pool. Band line up looks amazing but Im not good enough to play pool on the weekends with grown people 😅

If it was Non-smoking Id give it a 5. We were skeptical when we got there, the place seemed run down some, but we (8 of us) had walked down from the Red Roof Inn at their suggestion for good chow. The place seems more like a Club than a restaurant, and the joint was pretty much empty at 8 PM on a Friday, but the service was great and the food was excellent. Bet it rocks at late night.

Been here twice, from about 30 minutes south of Richmond and both times were amazing. The food is simply amazing and the prices are great. The owner (met him the first time I went) is a cool, chill dude. Great atmosphere,

My favorite nightclub in all of Northern Virginia for watching some of the Regions best rock bands perform. It is also a fantastic place to shoot pool, with dozens of tables on the other side of the establishment. They have an extensive menu that is moderately priced and the food is excellent. All around great place to visit when you are in Winchester. It is a casual and moderately priced venue.I have met many friends there and will return every time Im back in the area.

Pros- staff is polite, prices are good, pool tables are nice and level.Cons- two of the four items we asked for on menu was not available, fried food tasted burnt like old grease, Dj played bass so loud you could not hear the songs well and speakers sounded horrible with that much bass, stage area reminds me of a cheap strip club.

The food was amazing and the concert we attended was great. Not much in the way of seating in the concert/bar area so if you go get there early to snag a seat/table.

Your menu says to ask a server about dessert options but I was sadly informed that there are no desserts. I was really hoping for something sweet to follow my dinner. If you wont offer any dessert options then I highly suggest that you remove it from your menu.

Went for a show. Tiny but intimate venue. Great sound and the bartenders did a great job to keep things moving with a large crowd.

Suprisingly, the rather plain nondescript outside of the building doesnt do justice to the inside. Clean, well lit Billiards area with at least a dozen pool tables. Separate bar area is nice with a stage for a band and or DJ. Tables set up for beer pong and while I didnt try the menu, the dishes coming out of the kitchen seem - looked good. Service was great and prices reasonable. Crowd was most 20-30ish while I was there but Im told it can vary depending on the entertainment. Id would definitely go back.

Very affordable fun time $5 an hour for pool great onion rings live bands

Great place to come play pool, have some drinks and enjoy the bars atmosphere. They got a little something for everyone. From Karaoke to beer pong nights and fun dj nights on weekends. As well as local rock bands. I was just upset that my card got stuck in their atm machine one time and the staff acted really careless to help out with the problem. Told me they had to wait for Maintenance to come the next day to fix it. I was disappointed and it ruined my night a little bit. Had to go to bank the next day to get my card replaced. But overall its a fun place. Would give 5 stars if they had better customer service with their atms.

OMG on a whim we were looking for something to do on Christmas Eve night. My son suggested this place, I was game, so was my 83 yr old mom. I was a little concerned about what the place might be like, but we found it, clean, friendly, good service, good food, and lots of fun! We will be back there again.

We attended for a Birthday Party that was booked in one of their rooms to be followed by Karaoke.We then found out at 9pm no Karaoke......exciting option a Trivia Quiz, most of the 30+ guests left who had been there eating & drinking since 6pm!A handful of us stayed several of us approached the guy who was doing the entertainment to try to get some dance music going for those of us left NO.....after the Trivia only....rules. He was obnoxious & rude.Customer feedback did not count.I then proceeded to speak to a Bar Man....he promised to do his best but failed to convince the entertainment guy we wanted some fun & an atmosphere....Bar Manager appeared not interested.When I left a 11 pm the quiz was half way through with just us in the bar who did not want to play.We even danced to the music clips in the quiz to try to get the message across.Take your friends & family elsewhere this place does not want to make your event fun.

Came from Canada and heard nothing but good things. Decided to go and check it out to play some pool. Tuesdays are free pool night which my girlfriend and I did not know about but was awesome! It was also trivia night as well and that was a blast too! Highly recommended if youre looking for a good time with friends.

The food is fantastic and the live shows are so energetic and fun. The only downfall is they allow smoking inside. Otherwise, a fantastic place to eat and watch a concert!

This was our first time visiting this establishment. It is a pool hall and a bar and grill. The entire place is smoking. There is a small room and I believe it has one pool table in it for non-smoking. Almost every night has something special during the week. Today was Tuesday so they had Taco Tuesday where they had dollar tacos, Tipsy Tuesday to where they had drink specials and trivia Tuesday which they were running a trivia night. I believe that only went until 8 p.m. but it was a very cool experience. After trivia comes karaoke so we had to leave but their food was okay they had a dish called Irish nachos which were chunks of potato with cheese tomato jalapenos and a drizzle of sour cream served with ranch for $6.99. They had buffalo wings and I got 10 for $10 and they had a variety of flavorings for the wings we got standard Buffalo but they had one called stupid hot. we also got a hand full of tacos. They were very small but they were only a dollar and came with a Ramekin of salsa and a Ramekin of sour cream. We also got two pictures of PBR. It was only $7 each. Our total with a generous tip was $52. The wait staff was a little slow but it was crowded because of the trivia night, it was not oppressivly loud. All and all it seems like it could be a very good place to have a group dinner or just grab a drink. We most likely will return.

Seriously, this place is not 5 stars. Tables are worn out! You can see the slate under the table cloth. People walk around hammered hitting on girls who were clearly not interested and after the staff failed to get the guy away, the ladies left. I could not concentrate because there was a rock concert going on. The staff looks like they were part of Charlie Jasons cult. I saw at least two incidents where people almost fought. It was scary they were grown but they sounded like they were 16 in their minds, we left! All these great reviews are probably coming from locals who belong on the Jery Springer show. Needless to say it was a very dark night! If your visiting and middle class dont go there!

I love this venue because it is the ONLY place in the Winchester area that brings in the best NATIONAL BANDS to the local area. Great atmosphere, food, music and location! Staff is friendly & attentive. I absolutely recommend that local and visitors to stop by and enjoy everything that the Blue Fox has to offer.

Needed a quick bite and beer. I had two choices either pay a $10 cover for a band I wasnt going to hear or be seated in the corner next to an empty pool table. No exceptions no way! So as much as I believe in supporting local business forced to pay up or leave. Now Im sitting down the street at a chain restaurant having a quick bite and beer!To sum it up not traveler friendly... And my tiny contribution to support local business was not appreciated.

Sound system is awful. You cant make out what singers are saying. Made my ears ring for days. Long way to go to became decent concert place. Good bands, bad place.

I came here to see a concert. They were okay with us coming in and out of the room with the stage. If want to be close to the stage, come early and wait for doors to open by standing in line. If you dont care, grab a pool table and play a game or two. Their pool room is a great place to meet band members after they play on stage.The stage room is pretty small, so you are never too far from the stage. I really wish there was a tall guys in the back rule though. I am average height and felt like I was surrounded by basketball players. Thats just a consequence of small venue concerts.

After spending many nights there with work friends..I happen to choose to spend my birthday there with a bunch of friends. The DJ with whom i know very well offered to pay for my drinks on my birthday since we are friends prior to this establishment I later was told after that night they wouldnt allow him to pay my tab after he tried to pay it then i went back the following day and paid my tab even though I was disappointed and couldnt understand the reason behind this to find out that I am not allowed back because of an unpaid tab that I came back in and paid. It was unprofessional as well because I had to find this out through a text message that a bouncer had told someone else to text me and let me know this. After the money I have spent there and brought my friends to the outcome of being treated the way I was was extremely unfair and very negligent the way this was handled. Thank goodness this is far from the only bar in winchester. Dont recommend it.

Great entertainment the bands for the venue size you cant go wrong. We saw Any Given Sin tonight they rocked!!!!The food and staff were great no complaints.

Can you beat Pop Evil right in your face? Thats the best part of this venue, seeing a national act or a great local band up close and personal. Its has to be one of the best music venues around!

Its consistently fun. Jukebox and pool tables on one side, band stage on the other- sound is separated. Good crowd on the weekends with $ incentives to get folks in on the weekdays. Food decent, tables & cues straight enough :) (Yuck though-you reek of cig. smoke after leaving)Thumbs up. Cmon, check it out !

Had wings and A beer. No service. Hot wings were dull at best. Both bartenders are to busy Gossiping to take Care of customers. Had to get there attention just to pay up. NO communication with customers. Not good. Dont go there.

Blue Fox is a good atmosphere for a bar with super kind and friendly staff. The only issue I have is, like most bars, there is poor ventilation from the smoke and vape.

I went there for the first time in years, met a guy to play pool with, they gave him his money back, somehow he left and I had to pay for his drinks...never oked it and they kept my ID and never gave it back when I paid $100 in tabs, which on $48 where mine. I live 40 mins away. And now have to go back to get my ID and still had to pay for some random guys pool tab and drinks. Thanks.

I served in the military and have played in so many pool halls bar and grills. Do not, I say again, do not believe any of these reviews I was approached by 2 different groups of people interfered in my pool playing. TIED to start fights, never said a word to anyone, I was alone and at that point I realized I had to leave. I would not recommend this club to anybody. People there look like they should be in prison. Have instructed everybody in my command not to go there.

To a weary traveler, this place is like an oasis. All I can say is rock on, guys. You play an important and vital role in what keeps america moving. dont let them turn you around. you saved my life that night and I enjoyed everything about it.Hold fast gentlemen. Hold fast.

I have been to this billiards and bar several times to meet different people. Each time it is basically the same. If you get there anytime after 9 or 10 p.m., especially on a Friday or Saturday night, youll find an atmosphere full of vulgar language and illicit drug use. I cannot tell you how many times I have smelled marijuana in the parking lot or gone into the bathroom to find several grown men sharing onr small stall. People openly talk about their drug use while youre playing pool. I could care less about the marijuana, but snorting lines in the bathroom gives the place a really trashy feel to it. So much potential is wasted

The worst service Ive ever had anywhere.. Food order was wrong when I got it, Waitress got an attitude when I asked her to fix it.. And God forbid if you have a Southern accent.. Didnt feel welcome there at all.. My 1st and last time there

Cool place to play pool and listen to music. They have live events which are cool too. Wish they had more events going on with comedy or improv shows. I think they should appeal to a larger audience then the one that they do.

25 dollars for a drink in this place.Use to be a cool place but you can see their cleary going under.Definitely wont return to this establishment

Wasnt overly impressed free pool on Sunday seemed dead waitress was nice but perhaps bored.but i guess id rather have too inventive then to be ignored food/drinks seemed limited and not the best everything just needed a little more of something to be good

3 stars for the diamond tables. 1/2 a star for the felt. They dont take good care of it. Looks like it hasnt been replaced in 2 yrs. Blackened rails and all. Ive played on many tables in my time and Ive never seen felt this bad ever.

This place is horrible. The staff member with the black hair is very bitchy and takes money. You have to order an entree for free SODA refills so we did. She would not allow me to refill my soda even when I showed her the entree. She was very rude.

Great service asked bartender if they had carry out food and he said they did and helped me right away asked if I wanted a drink while I wanted for my wings and onion rings.. I asked if I could have them crispy got home and the wings were hard like chicken jerky worst wings by far.. Im a cook so I could smell and taste that the fryer oil hasnt been changed in s week at best, so nasty I tried to eat at least 7 out of 20 and my gf couldnt even finish 5. Maybe the cook was having a bad day or forgot the wings old but I wont go back there for wings again..

As a firstimer, I felt very welcome! They have free pool Sunday through Wednesday. I did not try their food, but I am planning to.

Awesome place, nice, clean, and really good food. Enjoyed playing here, and as I hear they have some really good bands.

We tried going when they just opened to play some pool, but it smelled so strongly of cigarettes that we couldnt stand being in there for longer than a minute. Really disappointing 😕

Place is great, very nice environment with great people. Fun to spend time here and food is good. Never had a complaint.

Broken glass in the restroom and rude staff are the reason I rated it a 2. Outside of that Id say on a good night its 3.5 for a bar that used to be a Harley dealership.

I like this place so much... apter so many fun, has bar, dance space and lot billiards table ... for last one you can smok inside and order food ...

Staff cared more about me staying and spending money on booze and getting tips then my order, booze was watered down, food was generic. Staff was more generic.

Great place to chill with friends and shoot pool. The parties are fun and the food and drinks are great. Definitely recommend the pizza!

Was very disappointed in this place. Myself and my wife went to have a cold beer and play pool. Went to the bar area first never got waited on at all. After 20 minutes of waiting we got up and left.

Service was slow and they were out of numerous menu items, but everything else was fine.

Good service with weak coffee and serviceable but dirty tables. A little more effort and this pool hall could be great.

The staff is absolutely fantastic. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is awesome. I will definitely be back!

Nothing more than a hang out, tables will stay empty while social hour happens which prevents others from playing. Free Sun thru Wed . Some of the staff are pretty nice

Dont expect to get a good table during league nights. And I get here before league night starts. The old guy behind the booth as you walk in is the most disrespectful sorry piece of skin Ive ever met.

It was a very different from home nice to have a wanderfull time with family and friend good service good food wanderfull music and a lots of pool table .....the way i lime it lol

If youre looking for a roadhouse with pool tables and live music, youve found the right spot. Acoustics could be use improvement. There is smoking allowed inside.

If you love to play billards with friends, enjoy a fresh drink and spirits, and great food this place will not disappoint.
