A great place to get a massage. If you are looking for a place to get a couples treatment this place is one of the best. Quiet and discreet and a very clean and organized facility. All of the massage therapists I have had the pleasure of working with, have been professional and thorough. The ability to take advantage of their hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge is a great benefit. I was able to get the massage I needed while my wife received hers catered to her needs. Highly recommend.

Wish I could have enjoyed the hot tubs here. When checking in the person at the front asked my partner if she was transgender and when my partner said no, she was silent and gave a look of “are you sure?” Then when I said we were both women she looked puzzled again and instead of believing us pushed us to change our answer. At this point we decided to leave and she said “well I was just trying to tell you about our bathrooms”. I hope the staff has a better understanding about gender expression and gender identity, and I hope they believe customers when they self identify their gender. I would not recommend this facility to trans or gender non-conforming guests or queer people in general.

Loves is the most amazing, clean professional day spa that i have been to in Albuquerque. Not only is this facility beautiful it is also very serene. I felt welcomed from the moment i checked in. Julie my therapist was attentive to my needs and my body and mind felt so much better after her massage. Self care at its greatest! Do yourself a favor a book with LHT you will not regret it!

It was a very lovely and peaceful experience. Staff was friendly and professional. I enjoyed the soak/sauna time before my massage, and the complimentary beverage station. The massage therapist was very skilled and professional and left me feeling very calm and relaxed. Will definitely be going back.

This was one of the best massages Ive had. The sauna and soaks (hot AND cold) beforehand were a great way to start. My massage was awesome! Just enough pressure, but not too much. My teen daughter got her first massage, and all night she talked about how her legs were so relaxed like jello! Thanks for the great spa day. We will be back.

My husband and I enjoyed a 90 minute couples massage when we were visiting in February. We loved it! Jaime even did a special massage on my jaw for my TMJ, and it totally helped! We also enjoyed our soak, and the atmosphere is actually very peaceful for being in the middle of town. The locker room also had all the necessities and then some. We will definitely be back next year.

Wow. What a treat! Had a couples massage and soaked in the hot and cold tubs. The sauna was wonderful also! The massage was terrific. I only wish I had booked 90 minutes instead of 60. It was SO worth it!! I plan to make this a part of my monthly routine! They really think of everything you may need for a great spa day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The fenced parking area is great so you don’t need to street park. From entering as a new client you get a tour & they have some decent amenities if necessary like combs, qtips, hair ties, & face wipes. My massage was great & Jaime did a fantastic job listening about my problem areas & working on them.

From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The space is very inviting and cozy. Complimentary drinks in the lounge. I purchased a 90 min deep tissue massage and it was divine. Love was very receptive to feedback during the massage. She used some different techniques to release some of my worst spots and really focused on my problem areas. She was thorough and concise . I really enjoyed my massage and would love to come back. The location is hidden but the space is new and wonderful.

I love this place so peaceful. I walked in and was greeted with a smile. From the start to the end of my services I was treated amazingly. The rooms and tubs are so relaxing and peaceful. The massage was amazing and just didn’t want my time to end the perfect end was that bath soak. Went home and sleep like a baby. I Will gladly return and recommend this place.

Hard to park, not a great massage experience. Outside has a ton of flies and insects landing on you while you try to relax and in the water. Cameras placed in awkward locations as you walk and come face to face with a cheap camera so you feel uncomfortably watched while in a freakin robe in a waiting area. Sunbeam wasnt the most welcoming. Wouldnt recommend.

Booked a last minute session for a friend, and she loved it! Had high remarks to say about the place. Beautiful too. You can tell the owners really put in a lot of effort in to the space.

I went to the Day spa for a massage and had Travis for a Swedish massage. The space is very well done and permeates a relaxed atmosphere. The massage was incredible! Travis is really quite good and I highly recommend him.

A very calm place and I appreciate that they keep the number of people who are in the shared space to a reasonable number. The massage therapists are excellent as well.

Since Covid, no more communal pools. Now, its $30 for 2 people ($5 for each additional) for 1/2 hour; and you have to book in advance. Clean and comfortable, providing robes and tea. Of course, they have massage and facials...and a little gift shop. Best local bath house.

I have had many massages before, nothing like this one though! I fell asleep during my massage, never have I ever fallen asleep! I was just so incredibly relaxed and in such an incredibly safe environment. My husband and I will definitely be back! It was such a relaxing experience. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Feb 2, 2024 @6pm.My husband and I have been to massage parlors from Colorado to Texas and have had great times. So I thought this would be the same.I was very wrong travis never once asked me if the pressure was to much or how i was doing, I honestly felt as of they were just doing to bare minimum with the most pressure.A relaxing outing turned painful.Management called and sounded more worried at this 1 star review.

Best Place to get a Massage. It was so quiet that it made it easy to relax. It rained while we were there and made the massage even more relaxing. All the Ladies working were so nice and helpful when we asked questions. The other costumers that were getting massages were sweet and friendly too. It has to be the atmosphere that made everyone enjoy themselves. Will be making this my only go to massage place! Until next time. I have received an uncountable amount of massages in my lifetime and, without a doubt, Loves is where I receive the best I have ever experienced. The soaking tubs and sauna are a nice bonus for a great price too. The massages, however, are absolutely the best in town!

What a great find! Natalie was awesome, definitely knows her craft and worked my stubborn knots out. The deep tissue was no joke so if you like a little GOOD pain she has some strength! I am certain she is a master at all other types of massage therapy and I plan to try them all out eventually. The Jacuzzi and courtyard were quiet and relaxing, the cold pool is invigorating. I will most definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I was a patron of this establishment for 11 years, but no longer. Love and Vanessa verbally accosted me! The masseuse tried to gouge me for more money for requesting to adjust the pressure--a common practice. They are an embarrassment to the body therapy profession and the local business community. I am never going back.Any reply from the owner is untrue and is yet another attempt to avoid accountability.You simply can not help revealing your lack of poor customers service skills. I do not need to see a camera. I KNOW what really occurred. You needed to record yourself and seriously reflect on how aggressive and inappropriate you were with me--mocking me, pointing your finger in my face, telling me Your times up while I was in the hot tub, and telling me Your banned, in front of other patrons. Moreover, I simply asked the masseuse for more pressure, not a deep tissue massage. If she was mentored by a business owner that had integrity and ethics, she would known the difference. And, I am not confused. The former owners of Albuquerque Baths, were amazing. There is no comparison. And, yes after feeling like Id been emotionally abused, I reconsidered and posted a review that merits the way you treated me and possibly treat others. It was appalling.

I scheduled an appointment yesterday for a message at 4pm today. I had a meeting and a funeral in Santa Fe. I calculated the time to get to my appointment but the funeral and meeting went over. I called to inform them that I was going to be late but was not sure how soon that I could get there. They made a comment about knowing my obligations and had zero compassion. I asked to reschedule for a the next Thursday or any other day and they said that they would book the appointment but still charge for today. Our Healthcare system has more compassion than these people. I am an independent contractor so I understand time and money. I was treated worse than our current Healthcare system. Sad.

Was in Albuquerque on a weekend getaway with my husband and of course did not plan ahead. We called over 20 massage places in town to try to get me in for a prenatal massage last minute and had no luck except for this one. They got me in the following day! I am 31 weeks pregnant and really enjoyed my experience. Hidden gem, beautiful spa with a great and relaxed atmosphere. Super clean and organized. Staff is really friendly and we felt comfortable and relaxed from the check in to the massage itself. Therapist made sure to be gentle and work on the problem area I addressed. My husband was offered to soak while I did my massage and he also enjoyed his experience using the jacuzzi, sauna and even the ice bath (very briefly). Will definitely go back.

While I enjoy soaking and sauna-ing here, I have to leave a review for a massage I had last week. I asked for deep tissue, it was the most disappointing massage Ive ever had. The masseuse was all over the place, poking some hear and there, and stretching me out, nothing about it felt fluid and I had to put in effort to tell myself to relax. It really felt like either the masseuse was very inexperienced or else just not in the right profession. I also noticed that either the sheets or the body oil itself had a rancid smell, that once I noticed I couldnt un-notice. I did tell the masseuse kindly, and she said shed let the front desk know, but no one at the front mentioned it when I checked out. I assumed that the masseuse had informed the front desk as she told me she would, so I didnt bring the issue up again with the front desk; I figured theyd been told and would address it with me if thats their practice...I DO NOT recommend this place for massage.

Second time coming here, and the best massage experience in Abq! I can’t say enough good words about this place. Such a relaxed atmosphere and Natalie was absolutely wonderful and skilled. I felt so relaxed and zen, I felt all the knots in my back and tension disappear! I definitely will be coming back soon!

I checked in, and got to the locker room, and I realized they had mistakenly given me a key that was for the men’s locker room, not the women’s locker room. I went up to the front to ask for a different key, and the front desk lady started asking me invasive questions about my genitals and making me very uncomfortable. She did end up giving me a women’s locker key, thankfully, but apparently “it’s their policy” to question guests about their genitals if they think you might make the other guests uncomfortable, and they don’t care if they make you uncomfortable in the process.Edit: I can’t figure out how to reply, but I am extremely disrespected that there are even false accusations such as those against me. The company is now claiming that I have apparently “waved my genetalia around” in the presence of a minor at their location, despite no minors being present at my last visit. Not to mention that kind of behavior is indeed wildly inappropriate and not something I would do in my entire lifetime. Either they are making up false claims about me to portray me as the villain in this interaction, or they are mistaking me with someone else who is doing these terrible things.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my entire experience. The atmosphere, the amenities, the people, not to mention one of the BEST massages Ive ever had! No high pressure sales like other establishments Ive been to. I cannot wait to return!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! This was my first massage experience and everything was perfect. Ingrid was my masseuse and was so friendly. The vibe of the building was perfect from the beginning and very clean and comfortable. My masseuse asked if the amount of pressure she was providing was too much or too little,and checked on my experience throughout the hour long session. Will most definitely be going back!!

This day spa is a jewel right down town. The ambiance is charming. It is clean and well managed. We have yet to be disappointed with any of the massage therapists. For anyone wondering if you should book an appointment here versus somewhere else, book an appointment here! A week ago my husband and I came here and had an hour cbd couples massage and an hour in the sauna/cold plunge/hot tub situation. Let me tell you, every single second is relaxing and refreshing. The woman at the front desk was super friendly, and so were our therapists. As far as the actual massage, both my husband and I were left feeling like there were a few times they could have put more pressure but thats just personal preference. We will try to request a deep tissue couples massage next time but overall the massages were really, really good. Ive only ever had pregnancy massages before but this was definitely the best massage Ive ever experienced. For the amazingly affordable price, this spa is my favorite and I wont be going anywhere else. Thank you to everyone who made our day so nice. As parents of three young children it was such a treat. ❤️

We make Loves Healing Touch Baths and Day Spa a destination spot whenever we visit New Mexico. This visit we introduced our granddaughter to Loves and yes she loved her first massage as we enjoyed ours again. I asked for Greg Santiago again as for me personally he is a miracle functional body worker who gets my body working in healthier ways. We take inspired action to enjoy life and traveling and a visit here helps our bodies to feel better after the 10 hours of travel time required to come from the east to New Mexico to visit our family. Thanks to Love and Sunbeam and everyone else that provides such a beautiful atmosphere and environment for pampering and self-care.

Our group of 7 came in from out of town and chose this location on a whim and boy were we ever surprised! This was an awesome relaxing experience and the baths and sauna were as great as the massage! Two words: HIDDEN GEM! 😍More words: I made a massage appointment and also booked a tub pass. My appointment included a robe, sandals, a locker key, and complimentary water and tea. 🙌The locker room was clean and included one toilet, three showers, and two (maybe three) sinks with clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, sunscreen, hair ties, a blow dryer, and individually packaged complimentary combs. The shower gel smelled sweet and citrusy, like grapefruit. 🍊The spa had a private outdoor patio area with a hot tub, a cold plunge tub and several cushy outdoor loungers. While I was enjoying the tubs in this area, I saw a couple butterflies flutter through the purple flowers on the branches of one of the trees and through the tall blades of grass that hugged a water fountain wall. 🌸🦋The low hum of traffic on Broadway was hardly noticeable over the privacy wall, calming spa music and peaceful sounds of water trickling from the fountain. ⛲️After soaking in the hot tub, plunging into the cold tub and spending a few minutes in the sauna, I enjoyed a massage with lemongrass essential oil, which was a $5 add-on that I requested that smelled like an herbal lemon. It was light, fresh and soothing. 🍋🌿Love was the name of my massage therapist and she tailored my massage to meet my needs, adjusting the pressure intensity as I requested. 💖I really enjoyed this spa and would recommend it to others. I would also recommend Love as a therapist. ✨🙌

Such a relaxing place. We did an hr in hot tub and got an hr massage. Front desk was great fast and gave us all great information.For my massage I had Julie she did a deep tissue massage. Absolutely amazing! Listened and worked out my problemed areas plus more!Answered all my questions and was very professional.

The ambiance was wonderful, although the massage wasnt the same on both sides of my body, which is something Ive never experienced, and since my massage my right sciatic nerve has been really flaring up and Ive never had issues with my right sciatic nerve, only my left side. It was kind of a bummer since this was my husbands birthday gift to me.My husband loved his massage though!

I only enjoyed the 1 hour soak for $20 which includes the sauna, hot tub and cold tub. It was certainly worth it! The bathrooms provide showers, toiletries and everything else you may need before or after a soak

Hidden gem in Albuquerque! The cold plunge was around 55 degrees. Sauna was nice and hot. Staff is very friendly. Only suggestion would be to have a colder plunge but it does the trick 😊

Just what we needed to start our honeymoon in a relaxed state! Very skilled masseuse with just the right touch, was able to work out most of my knots from all the stress of wedding planning and still made me feel very calm and relaxed. The parking and location was a little sketchy at night, but you can’t beat the price. Highly recommend, we will be back!

First impressions are everything and my hubby and I didint feel very welcomed when we first walked in. We notice other people walking in and they were real nice and peppy with them? massage therapist were great and the soak was awesome. I honestly would probably stick with Bettys spa. THE facility is really small and the ladies locker room is really tiny and crammed.Appt was at 4:00 on Feb 19th I dont use my personal name on my google. Im sure you guys can look at the customers names at that time and call.

When youre looking to soak and relax I recommend Albuquerque baths! This place is very clean and the staff is pleasant. I enjoy the hot tub and the cold plunge. On top of that there is access to the sauna if youd like! Definitely will be returning

This place is a serene little gem! It is small, but everything is lovely and clean and the staff members are incredibly kind and welcoming. I happened to be in the area for an Olympic weightlifting comp and ended up going here three times! I also got two 60min deep tissue massages with Kelly, who was absolutely fantastic and very knowledgeable—can’t recommend her enough. I was a little worried about seeing an LMT I’m not used to, especially when competing, but she delivered 110%. Hit the nail on “therapeutic relaxation” and def helped me crush it at my comp! Would 10/10 recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I had as couples massage today with Love and Sunbeam. It was fabulous! They did a great job of working out our knots and also providing a relaxing, stress relieving massage. I have had tons of massages and would definitely recommend them. My neck and shoulders feel a lot better already. It was my boyfriends first massage and he had a great experience. As you walk in, you are greeted by an absolutely lovely waiting room with coffee/tea/water and a really relaxing and cozy environment. Love was excellent. I felt very safe and comfortable during the whole experience, and she was very professional and responsive to feedback both verbally and physically. I definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future.

Great spot for a quick local getaway but at 35$ for a two hour pass I might be worth making the commute to Santa Fe to visit a higher quality spa although tickets are $50 a day they have a wider selection of pools

The spa setup is wonderful and I love the option to soak in a hot tub after massage. The massage therapists take the time to listen to your needs and adapt.

I have had three visits thus far and a 4th one scheduled already. The person I used to see moved their business out of the city and it took me a while to find a new masseuse that I can trust and understands my medical condition. I am extremely happy to have found this place. I see Love S. and I think she is great at her profession. The swedish massage is very relaxing and I always walk out of there feeling wonderful. I definitely would recommend giving them a try.

Was not happy with the way the handled my appointment for a facial. I scheduled on a date and they had wrong date. I never received a text reminder like they said I did! when I called to find out appointment time they told me I had missed my appointment. They charged me 150.00 dollars and would not refund or let me have services day I had thought I scheduled appointment. I will never go there because of the way the handled this.

This is a very pretty place, but the nonfunctional massage table really detracted from the experience. The massage therapist was unable to adjust the head cradle appropriately in spite of numerous attempts, so I spent the first half of my massage with my head cranked up at an awkward angle. To be fair, the second half of the massage was lovely, as was the hot tub.I did receive a call back from a manager after two days, but their response was “Sorry. I’ll look into it.” Given that their prices are the same as their competitors, I suggest frequenting places with properly functioning equipment.

Great local place to visit if your live downtown. Never knew they were there, just north of mountain on Broadway until a friend of mine told me about it--she actually works there and gives great massages too :). They have a sauna, cold plunge, and a hot tub. They say to do those 3 things in that order for the best experience. I think its $10 or $15 for a soak. Not a bad price for what you get. The area can be a little intimate at times but the capacity cant hold that many so you wont have to deal with a large amount of people. And sometimes, if youre lucky, you can soak all by yourself! They have lounging chairs to tan or dry on and they give you a robe, towel, sandals, and a key for a locker to place your personal belongings.

Cindy is amazing. I think this was the best massage I’ve ever had in my life — and I’ve had so many. She helped work out some tough spots in my neck and shoulders, which never seem to go away but seem completely better now. Thank you thank you and I’ll be back soon.

I usually go to ABQ Baths about once a month or so. Sometimes for a massage and other times just to soak. The massages are always so nice and well done, and soaking is always so peaceful. I have not gone on a weekend but have gone on many weekdays and it is always quiet and not very busy!You can usually call in the morning and get a massage schedule same-day if you need it! Very accommodating! Thank you!

Second time to this place and its my new favorite. Ive been all over NM getting massages and soaking, but todays 90-minute massage was by far the best Ive ever had. Kalenas technique is amazing. I usually have to schedule a longer massage just to use the first 30-40 minutes to relax, but she had me unwound in the first 10 minutes. Prior to the massage, I spent 30 minutes in the tubs and dry sauna...relaxing, quiet, tranquil. Little peace of perfection in downtown Albuquerque. I will be back. Thanks!

I think it is important for a massage therapist to listen to their clients and Sunbeam did just that. She was considerate of my requests and worked with me thoughtfully throughout my massage. I have had a great experience both times Ive had a massage from her. I feel like she was able to target what was hurting the most in a way that didnt leave me in agonying pain, but was able to release it. I will continue to go and seek her help.

I had such a great massage here. I chose the therapeutic massage and it has helped tremendously with my neck pain. The employees here are very nice and the hot tub was nice as well. Its a small facility though.

It was great other than the loud and obnoxious customers. I could hear everything as I was in a session. I wish the staff would have told them to chill a bit... I think it was somebodys birthday? Not a very quiet or particularly peaceful place but the staff are nice and know what they are doing. Maybe its just me, maybe people should be loud at these places... Dunno.

If you get a massage, you get free access to their hot tub, cold plunge, and sauna included. John and Patti give great massages! They also have bathing suits available if you forget yours.

I tried this place out for the first time today and absolutely loved it! The staff was super friendly, the rates are reasonable, and the environment was very clean and relaxing. The shampoo and lotions in the locker room smelled great and felt extraordinary on my skin. I definitely will be returning and recommend everyone to check this place out!

I booked a deep tissue massage, but Greg also integrated sports massage techniques into my treatment. I had a massage today and I had a disk out in my neck which was causing me a bad headache. The therapist worked with me and massaged and stretched my neck and back till my headache was gone. She was very patient and professional. I was very grateful she could relieve my headache. I will return there again

This was a pretty disappointing experience overall. I arrived early to soak but had to wait for people to leave before there was room enough in the baths. The massage therapist was nice but honestly this was probably the worst massage Ive ever had. She didnt appear confident and offered virtually NO pressure even after I said that I wanted pressure. I spent 2 hours having oil gently rubbed in to my skin. It wasnt unpleasant but I was hoping to relieve tired/sore muscles and that absolutely did not happen. This was definitely not on par with other similarly priced spas/services. Feels a bit like I was scammed.

The baths are ok if you are mainly there for the sauna or hot tub. The facility is attractive & clean and the staff accommodating. Unfortunately, traffic sounds can be disturbing. But, the lack of a COLD dip was my biggest disappointment. What they offer is less effective than a cold shower.

I went to Albuquerque baths accidentally. I thought my appointment was here, but was at Betty’s baths. So I go with my daughter to check in, and they said oh yes, here are your robes and locker keys. They checked us in when we didn’t have an apt so we missed our massages at our actual appt place. And now have to pay the no show fee, and Albuquerque baths would do nothing to fix. I plead with them to still offer our massages at not cost seems they check us in erroneously, but they wanted nothing to do with making this right. Will never deal with them again.

This place has absolutely zero ambiance for a spa. The place itself looks like maybe it was an office building or doctors office previously, and the least amount of remodeling was done. It is very poorly decorated, and definitely has an awkward feel. I also could not easily find drinking water, and when I asked an employee I was directed to a water fountain in a common area. Super tacky.I was there on a rainy cold day. Huge problem is that after services or to go from the locker room to the sauna, you have to walk through the rain. While understanding that this is rare for Albuquerque, it was unacceptable to have to walk through rain and become wet and cold after my massage. If this were my business I would have purchased an outdoor umbrella to remedy this the very first moment I noticed.Meanwhile employees were using umbrellas of course. Not to mention one woman was walking Back and forth through the common area and locker room briskly rushed, speaking very loudly, wearing a loud wind breaker. I have never seen a spa employee be so disruptive and inconsiderate of the spa environment.Additionally, the pool seemed to be chlorinated, so I was unable to soak in it due to having sensitive skin. It’s basically a large public hot tub. I do not see the purpose of paying to enter this.My massage, however, was fantastic and my masseuse was friendly and very skilled.Overall super disappointed with the lack of atmosphere and how casual and inconsiderate the employees were.I later tried Betties baths, which ABQ Baths appears to get their model from, and the experience was much better. I will not be going back to ABQ Baths, mostly a waste of a day.

Albuquerque Baths is one of the only places I know of in Albuquerque that offers a stay-cation experience, a soft relaxing atmosphere, with a sauna, hot tub, cold tub, and massage. This place is very classy and great after those long work weeks or days. The cost is prohibitively expensive but having a place to unwind for your mental health is necessary. Located just on the outside of Martinez Town limits.

Love & Sunbeam are a phenomenal team who have saved me time and time again from being bed-ridden. Not only do they have peaceful & happy powers of relaxation, but they have powerfully effective healing skills as well that relieve burdens of chronic pain from injuries. I have had so many injuries in this life and have been paying the price for some of them for years and years. As I’m getting older these injuries tend to get louder and louder. Before Love’s Healing Touch about 3 years ago, I had always been crooked for pictures and in general. They straightened me out by releasing & correcting the damage done by getting hit by a semi-truck & van when I was on a bicycle 15 years ago. I also got in a fight about 7 years ago and tore my ACL. Generally not crowded, this really is an oasis in the middle of the city. Its always clean, quiet, well stocked with care products in the shower rooms, and the 10 visit pass is a great deal.
