One of New Mexicos cultural gems! This treasure to the community provides live performance space as well as musical education for our youth! Wonderful venue supporting local artists as well as live performances! Jalila is the glue I was told tonight! What an amazing crew and the musical vibes were exactly what my heart craved👏 live music 🎶 🎵 live life to the fullest by checking at an amazing live artist at the wonderful place, the outpost!

Its my favorite concert venue!!! Love it and always get high quality music! You can count on it.

Great place to hear local and big name jazz talent for very reasonable prices. Tom Guralnik and crew are dedicated to supporting and building a vibrant jazz and other music and art scene in Albuquerque and throughout New Mexico. You wont be disappointed by this non-profit and important venue and cause.

I love the Outpost. They are concerned about patron safety. Wonderful intimate atmosphere. It is the best music venue in Albuquerque.

World class jazz venue with a listening room atmosphere. All seats have good stage visibility and the sound technicians are the best in New Mexico. Programming features a great blend of world class artists and local (but also world class) musicians. Becoming a member is worth it for the savings in admission alone.

Couldnt give it 5 stars because of continued mask enforcement. Thats a negative in my mind. YMMV. When that changes, Ill give it 6. Great organization. Great space. Its one of the very best things about the ABQ music scene. My ears delight every time I go. The education program is top notch.

Great evening listening to jazz. The entertainers were local musicians along with two other performers from California. Very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

Fun little venue. We went to a youth performance show and were very impressed by the performers on the whole. Got to hear some jazz, pop, and rock music. It was only $3 to get in for a hour and a half performance. They even pay the performers a little bit, which I think is great. We plan to go again next month!

The Outpost is opened for the season and as always the music is great. It is the place to be to hear old and new jazz artists. Along with the live performances they are now doing live streaming. So glad they are back once again.

I love this venue. I havent been much but it captures the music scene in ABQ well with such a variety of events and concerts. I think they do exceptionally well providing quality art, showcasing both seasoned and upcoming artists, while still grasping the intimate feel of shared music. Bring a date, friend, or yourself for a special night of music, conversation, and maybe even a cookie or two.

Large locally owned Jazz and performance venue. Great place for neighborhood meetings and a variety of musical and art performers. The owner is very generous, friendly, and continually serves his community and neighborhood.

Its been too long since ive been to anything out, but a friend was involved in a print show there. Great collection and presentation and had a delightful time, and was asked for proof of vaccination. Its a first. Almost like getting carded for the first time when you turn 21.

Great Jazz Located Near UniversitySmallish venue seats around 160. Good accoustics. No bad seat. Moderately priced live experience. Honor system refreshments: water, coffee, cookies.

Outpost performances intimate space of world class and community soul is something you dont want to miss out on... Furthermore... with all that Albuquerque has to offer in its historic value...the Outposts appeal of classical jazz and blues is incredible!! Youve not had a full experience of Albuquerque without a contemporary and classical soulful experience in the intimate settings of the OUTPOST!!

Always a great time! Tom and his team create an intimate, comfortable concert experience with a smoke-free environment, strong coffee, the In-Post Artspace, and awesome performance artists.

A local, long standing performance venue in Albuquerque. Seats about 150-200 (?) In an intimate venue, chairs laid out on three sides of the stage. Nothing fancy, but all sweats are good to very good, and the sound is very good (mostly because it is small).We saw an Iraqi Oud expat zRahim AlHaj who now lives in New Mexico, along with an Iranian and Palistinian in the group. Wonderful evening of music. Highly recommend both the venue and AlHaj.

One of the best performance arts centers here in Albuquerque Thomas Grolnick has cultivated a jazz performance area like no other.

Tom Guralnick has impeccable taste. Ive never seen him book a bad act. As long as you like the genre, you can have confidence its a good show, even if youve never heard of the act.

Great venue for new musicians. My nephew played here for his first paid gig. Thanks for giving him the opportunity. Staffed with volunteers on top of it!

This is Albuquerques hidden gem. If you have not been to the Outpost space, you have to go...today.The Outpost space is a nonprofit performance venue that brings unique music from around the world to the Duke City. They provide inspiration to our community through educational courses and provide a breadth of musical experiences that are otherwise lacking in NM (the Lensic excepted).Also, the music is much more personal than the larger performance venues like Popejoy Hall because you can literally sit a few feet from the musicians and the Outpost is able to bring a more diverse set of musicians with much more interesting styles because they do not need to fill a huge hall.I love this place and hope it continues to thrive in Albuquerque. We need this place.

Went to a poetry/prose reading on immigration. Although the topic was heavy, the atmosphere and physical plant was unique and pleasantly intellectual and artistic. It was a great experience!
