Professional athlete here. Had a great deep tissue massage here a couple months ago. Have to shout out Emily she was the one who gave me a deep tissue very good! Affordable prices and would go again. I do recommend

I have Siactica nerve pain issues monthly. I went to Tao Massage and was serviced by Amanda. She was perfect. The right pressure in the right places. The place is very clean plus I’m very critical on how clean places have to be for me to go to. My one hour was amazing. I am know a weekly member. The prices is PERFECT

I have been many places for a message. Tao is by far have the best hands. My back was so tight when i came in but by the time i she was done, no nots, aces or pains. Very high quality work here.

I had recently had surgery that had me wearing a back brace for about a month. My shoulders, lower back and hips were killing me, and so I went to get a massage here. Through a combination of deep tissue and acupressure massage, my hips, lower back, and shoulders relaxed and opened up. Thank you very much, Tao massage!Today I had an uncomfortable experience at Tao Massage. I won’t get into it, but all I wanted was a medium strong tissue massage and the majority of the time was a oil rubdown and when I flipped over there was some inappropriate touching. I wish there was a way to say “I want a legitimate massage” without sounding rude, but that’s all I want and not something…extra, if ya know what I mean…

Why I love Tao Massage:Best massage ever.Why I dislike Tao Massage:The customer service is shady/rude. First off, I had an appointment, and I arrived 5 minutes in advance, and when she greeted me, she looked really upset that I was there. I explained that I have an appointment, she stalled, then lead me to the massage room. Once I entered the massage room, she asked if I’m paying credit card. It seemed that she wanted me to hand my card over to her while I stayed in the massage room. I wanted to be present with my card for any transactions (for security), so I left the massage room, went back to the lobby with her, and she again seemed upset. She wanted to charge me 6% sales tax on a non-taxable service in Virginia. She kept angrily repeating to me, “6 dollars tax,” but I was confused because I wasn’t making any purchase for a taxable item. She charged me anyway- but not in the usual way for sales tax. She added the fake sales tax to my total, which made it appear like the service price was this new total. The receipt didn’t distinguish that this fake 6% was actually tax. I knew this was bogus, but I really needed the massage, so a $6 swindle was ok. That was upon arrival. I didn’t want to add tip because I didn’t know if she was going to do a good job, so I always tip at the end. Because I didn’t add a tip upon arrival, she ended my massage exactly 10 minutes early. I asked if she was going to do my feet, she said that if I tip, then I can have the 10 minutes. I told her that of course I will tip if I receive a good massage. She agreed to complete the massage. As I was checking out, I said I will add the tip to the transaction I did upon arrival. I added 20%, and plus the fake 6% sales tax, that made a 26% tip. She was upset and said, “That’s all?!”. I was confused how she was so amazing at the massage, and able to be shady/rude when not doing the massage.Despite this mess, I will probably return to Tao knowing that the shystyness is part of the experience. Any fake tax applied to my bill, I will count it as part of the tip.

My friend recommended that I try Tao Massage and I am so glad that I did! I hadn’t had a good massage in a year so my body was extremely tight .She was so kind about making sure the pressure was right throughout the massage and I could tell she had to work hard to loosen up my tough spots. It was a great experience. I will definitely go back!!

This is a very bad visit. I first called to make an appointment for an hours massage.I explained that I wanted a deep massage. This old lady had a terrible massage and wont come back.

Was in town dropping my kids off to University a few weeks I had a lot of knots in my back and shoulders from the long distance drive. Place was recommended by a friend so decided to schedule an appointment. The were able to work out the knots and it was by far the best massage I have ever received. Felt extra relaxed after and highly recommend

This was my second time coming here and I was very taken back at them asking me to pay for my massage BEFORE the service. I get massages 1-2 times a week for the past 5 yrs and NEVER have I had to pay before a service and felt like it was something they only asked me to do based on a stereotype. if anyone can reply back to this and let me know if they’ve been asked to pay before service that would be great. I recently moved to this area so was in need of a new massage place nearby but do not feel comfortable ever going back. After they asked me to pay before my service, I asked them if this is something EVERYONE who comes in has to do, and they kept saying yes but my first visit there I watched someone walk right in with out being asked to pay upfront. It’s unfortunate that I’ll have to go so much further for my weekly massage but even if this is something they do to every customer, super weird way of doing business at a massage shop…. Any service I’ve ever gotten in my life, you pay AFTER

Worst experience ever , I normally go to a couple different massage spas , this is one of them , unfortunately it’s my second bad experience and probably the last one . The lady who helped me kicked me out 10 minutes before my time was up , her excuse was the Chinese new year was that night and they had to close early . I called earlier that night and made the Appointment at 7:30pm and asked what time they closed and she told me 9:30pm so just because they didn’t have enough customer around the time she had no right to do that. When I complained about that she asked me to stay longer and tip her more money . That make me more upset and realize it was not for me . Just wanted to leave this review so you guys can do something about it .

I found this massage place this past week after my normal place couldn’t fit me in. I saw Michelle and she was really great and I told her I would be back. Massage was 70 for an hour but then I was told five dollars had to be added on because I was using a credit card. I left her $20 tip and told her I would be back. Three days later I came back and pay the same amount 75 for the hour and then told her I wanted to leave a $15 tip. She sort of scarfed and I said is there something wrong and she said most people leave a $20 tip. So I left a $20 tip. But honestly that’s Really I’ll put off and I am very hesitant to be back. No one likes to be haggled, tips are optional anyway.

Clean and nice place! Masseurs will sometimes give extra time if needed. Had a lot of pain in ankles and feet and they’ll put the extra time to work you. Will be coming again.

Even though i left a $20 dollar tip for a one hour session she tried to tell me how much more i should tip her and that didn’t sit to well with me. Overall the massage was good but if you want certain things done please let them know before you start your session.

This place provides an excellent massage for a good price. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. They have switched management and upgraded facility. You wont be disappointed !

Slept totally awkward and had a crook in my neck. She walked by back. I feel asleep when I awoke approximately 85% range was back. Very 1st massage ever. And I was skeptical reading all the reviews at different places. She gave me exactly 1 hour to the min.

The washing machine, dryer and any paper towels in this store are the ancestors of the owner. Employees cannot use them, nor can guests use them. They are all wiped into the towels, and the labor of the employees is not valuable.

Its expensive, dirty and the service is bad.
