This was my first time getting my nails done at this salon and i’m very happy with my experience. kim did an amazing job with both the shape and application. will definitely be back!

All the ladies have done a great job on my nails. I moved from Houston a year ago and was worried I wouldn’t find a replacement nail lady like my one back home. They have been amazing!

I’ve been going to the ladies at Allure Nail Spa for a very long time and I have never, ever been disappointed. I see Kimberly regularly and have known her for at least 10 years. She is excellent. I have also received services from Kimmy and Karen, both are amazing as well. Kimmy gives the best massages. You can never go wrong at Allure - it’s clean, relaxing environment, and it is not over priced. I will be their customer for many years to come!!

I came in without an appointment and they squeezed me in super quickly! I got sns/dip powder (with extensions on two nails I had broken) and Lana did an AMAZING job. I live a bit far away, but I will definitely be making the drive to get them done here every few weeks.

Lana is exceptional. She takes her time with my manicures and pedicures. The salon is very clean and parking at the Ballston Mall garage is super easy. I highly recommend this wonderful nail salon.

We’ve been coming here for a few years. My very first time, Kimmy helped me. She was wonderful. Today after many months, I’m reunited with Kimmy and remember why I love her work! Thank you! Come make friends with these wonderful ladies.

Sophie is always doing amazing job with excellent customer service. She is going above and beyond when I come for pedicure and manicure. I highly recommend to book with her for those services.

I have been coming to Allure nails for years. It is a calm and very clean salon. I love the ocean pedicure. Ask for Lana, shes amazing!

I used to work in the building so it was always convenient for me to come in early before my shift or squeeze in afterwards if I got off early. I almost NEVER had an appointment and was almost ALWAYS able to be serviced. The staff is professional and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing. The cost is just a little steep but I never minded that factor.

I have been here several times on my work lunch and it’s always been fantastic service. I’ve had a pedi, a gel manicure, and a regular manicure. All turned out great. I highly recommend.

Sophie is the best! Meticulous attention to my nails. But the best part is her massages - heavenly. Treat yourself to an extra 15 minutes. Worth every penny.

Kelly is amazing, I am a 6 yr customer from her old shop and followed her 25 minutes out of the way for service. When I arrived to the new shop everyone greeted me and very welcoming. The shop is very clean and well organized. Nothing feels out of place. The massage and waxing rooms were very clean and Kelly does an amazing job with waxing for first timers or repeat customers. The customers were very pleasant as well. The nail color selections offer so much variety. There is wifi, so if you work remote you can continue your day as the internet is really good and strong here. Lastly, the cleanliness is really well managed. I will say the shopping center parking lot is a bit tricky and you can only park level 4 and up, but its cheap and easy after, just remember to take the elevators to the shopping and street entrance. When you get off the elevator turn left then another left towards tmobile. Its across from curious toys and Tmobile. I will be back and I am sure you may see me one day there 😏😁.

After my 3rd gel manicure, a new nail tech did my nails and the rest is history. 4 of my natural nails broke within days of getting this manicure, as in the next day. She completely over filed my real nails, I kept saying too much filing! Please! They will file your nails down to the bone if you’re not careful. It’s excessive!!!When I went back two days after paying $50 + for gel manicure with French polish, the same nail tech “fixed” my broken thumb. See for yourself what she left me with in pictures below. Despite my saying it’s crooked and too square and doesn’t match my other thumb nail at ALL.She asked another nail tech for her help in fixing the broken thumb. The other nail tech started yelling at me in front of the salon saying too bad, I should leave without her fixing it because my real nail broke and that they shouldn’t extend my thumb nail.Horrible customer service! 😂 good luck yelling at customers, next!

Worst customer service ever!!! All of my nails were different shapes and sizes! I let her know I was not happy and she soaked all of my nails off and told me to leave. After sitting for 2hours! Didn’t apologize, didn’t try to correct her mistakes. Very rude! Other people came in to get service while I was there with complaints as well and I knew then it would be a problem as they act very nonchalant!

This is my second time on this nail salon and I loved it! Quick, efficient and beautiful. Sophie helped me today, and I was very pleased with her execution.

I come in to get a simple acrylic soak off and the lady did not do a proper removal which caused my toe nail to be cut and breed a lot. If you are a licensed nail technician you should know how to do proper remove gel. I was very disappointed with everything and was cut several times. I did not get an apology or anything.

I’ve gone to a couple nail salons in Ballston. This one has the best hours. Manicure experiences are better than my pedicure experiences based on quality. it is my experience that depends on the nail artist. Karen is my favorite nail tech and does amazing mani/ pedis.

I get my nails done here all the time! Really great place and they are transparent with the prices. Quiet and relaxing.

I don’t know the lady name but she stressed me out so much today.Firstly, she was doing everything but not doing my nails, answering to her phone, walking and coming back, she put hand cream on first then asked me wash my hands, when I told her can we take off the color because it was not accurate at all, she was mad.I think this place could give better quality.Picture of my one painted nail tht she left like this lol.There are many other places in Ballston area, ladies I advice to check other places.

Allure Nail Spa is the best in the area by far. Wonderful experience today, clean shop, I got a gel french tip. They have a LOT of staff working which made the place run very efficiently. The salon creates a warm and inviting space where you can truly unwind and relax. Surprisingly great place!

Came on a Sunday for a full set French gel manicure. Now I have come before and received great service. But the last time and today my nails were not done well. My full set was left thick and uneven shape. I requested they shave/shape it but either way they were still done terribly. To top it off the French manicure was uneven and not filled in all the way. If youre unable to do what is requested just say so that way people are not spending their hard-earned money on terribly done nails. I paid and left but Im very embarrassed by my nails. I will need to head to another nail salon to spend more money to have them corrected.

Never to thick and looks natural The staff members are attentive and detail-oriented, ensuring that no aspect of your service is overlooked. They were perfectly shaped and had such clean lines. Friendly staff and beautifully decorated establishment.

I have been to this location twice now. Both times I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure performed. The customer service here could use some work, no one really speaks or greets you. However the service provided is great. The nail techs do a fabulous job of spending time on the massage for the pedicure, I work on my feet all day and this is my favorite part. The massage during the manicure is also great but wish it were a bit longer. My only complaint was the last time I went my manicure lasted less than a week, unfortunately I wasnt able to return to have it fixed. I may have gotten an older polish or it wasnt set properly. The location is very clean, i usually spend about $70-75 for both which is very reasonable. Overall, I would recommend this nail salon, its not over priced, its clean, and the services are great. They always fit me in last minute or same day.

This is the worst place I went, the ladies don’t know how to do a manicure or pedicure I came once and they didn’t do a good manicure..so give it a try I went twice, the nail polish it’s gone two days later..I will never comeback to this salon, but they are good for charge money!

Allure is a wonderful place for manicures and pedicures. The spa pedicures are so relaxing.

I’ve been going to Allure nails for over 2 years. I LOVE IT! I love the how organized, how they are all friendly, they offer water, just absolutely everything. My my favorite since day one is Kimmy 🫶 she’s amazing. I used to go pregnant and they made sure everything was to my liking. I’ve never had any problems there. I highly recommended 20/20

We’ve been coming here for pedicures since it opened. I can’t say enough about this salon. The staff are so kind and courteous. We look forward to seeing them! The space is very clean and relaxing and everyone is so professional and truly cares about doing a great job for their customers. Have lived in this area for over a decade and this is the only salon that has made us regulars. Definitely make an appt on weekends - this place is popular for a reason!

I have been a faithful customer of Allure for over two years now but am very upset by the experience I received today. I saw Vivian yesterday for my regular acrylic said but wanted to get a polish change today and was told I would have to pay $35 for a polish change only after I paid $80 + tip yesterday since Vivian was not in today and I would have to see a different nail tech. This is very upsetting and should not be a standard practice for customers, especially loyal customers. It is very unfortunate that my two year stride with Allure has had to come to an end this way but I will not be back to this establishment since I’ve witnessed how they treat their customers.

I have been going here for years and have been a very loyal customer. I called yesterday to schedule a pedicure with my go to nail tech Kimmy, asking for a 1PM appointment. The man scheduling said she had a client then, and asked if I could do 1:30 or 2.I asked for 1:30, at which point he said that would be really tight and would I be willing to come in at 2pm. I said fine. It wasn’t ideal as I had early evening plans, but I could make it work.Fast forward to today and I received a rude voicemail at 140pm from the salon saying I had missed my 130 pm appointment.I called them back stating I had asked for 1:30 but was told no earlier than 2 when I called to schedule. I was told I was wrong.Infuriating treatment given that I have gone here consistently for years when it was an error on their part, not mine. Don’t waste your time going here knowing they treat loyal clients like this.It’s a shame because nail techs like Kimmy are great but unfortunately not worth being treated that way by the woman at the front desk.

22$ for 2 nail color change. Brought my own polish and also witnessed a customer with blood on their hands asking to wash their hands. Customer proceeded to smear their blood on the handles and window and upon leaving I asked if they would wipe the blood off. Proceeded to tell me it was nail polish. Very unprofessional and violates health and safety.In response to the owner you did not recommend her to seek medical assistance you refused help therefore she became upset smearing her blood. You told her to get out of the salon. The blood was allowed to set. When I said something nobody could care less. One employee was sitting doing her own nails. Then to be told it was nail polish you have got to be kidding me. The only way I would even go over video footage is if audio is also available since you want to gaslight me into thinking I didnt see or hear what I actually witnessed.

I visited this place on May 4th and a lady named Kimberly worked on my nails - gel manicure. I walked in with a long nails which i asked her to trim just a little to help her shape. Instead she took off all my nails and continued to misunderstand the shape I requested which resulted in her filing my nails until I was able to see the bottom bed/skin of my nail. On top of this, she continued to trip the sides of my nails so deeply (i asked for round shape not almond or oval) that I woke up with pulsing pains in my fingers because she digged in too much and took away too much of my nail. They are not experienced, dont understand you and take critics so poorly. Avoid this place at all cost.

So the lady who did my nails was very nice however there were things that made me uncomfortable as a woman of color. i noticed they treat certain costumers better than others. mind you, this was last week when the weather was nearly 100 degrees. a black woman had noticed their full fridge of ice cold waters and politely asked if she could have one. a lady very shortly told her that waters are for employees only. for this reason i refrained from asking for one as well, even though it was SO hot. not even 10 mins later, after the first woman had left, a white young lady sat down and was offered a water not even 5 mins after sitting down. i was in shock, and i could tell that the costumer next to me was shocked as well. a week later, i still find this very upsetting and wont be returning.

Took two of my nieces here for their gel manicure and designs. It is their first time to get their nails done so they did not know what they want. The staff is very patient to consult them the selection, and they are able to design what my nieces showed them on the phone. My nieces love it and I am glad that they had a great time.

My 10-year-old daughter does a manicure better than you.I The first picture belongs to that day, the second picture belongs to the morning of the next day..Two days have passed since my manicure, and the gel polish has completely peeled off my nails.

Lana did an amazing job on my ombré nails that I gave a trial run before my party! Kimmys AMAZING for pedis! Very nice nail salon decor! Real citrus slices in the foot spa...ahhhh!!!

I came here after work one day with a friend who said she had been here before. I had Kimmy for my pedicure and she was very good at taking out my ingrown toenails. I did not like the color at all for my toes but had no chance for correction. I then was sent to another woman Sophie... lets just say she was not happy that I asked her if I could change my nails to a simple ombré with light pink and white. Her body language was very upset and just not happy at all. My friend next to me was also thrown off by the way she acted toward me. I asked her if she knew how to do an ombré which she said yes. After she finished cleaning my nails... she was going to start the powder. She tested a pink color which looked no different on my nail bed so once again I asked for something a little more pink.... With no surprise she huffed and puffed... finally found a pink that was a good fit. She began with the first layer of pink but no white... ( I have had ombré before and the dip is layered little by little with white dusting in between) after the second layer she still didn’t add white. I asked her she said later. Well fast forward she gave me pink nails and cured them with no white then tried to put clear gel polish and rub in dip powder...... which is not ombré. I had to leave because I am also pregnant and was there for three hours. I will never come back.

The only nail techs I trust are Lana and Karen. Everyone else isn’t as good and they do shoddy jobs on manicures and Pedicures. I used to go here all the time but I like other places better so I will not be going back

The owner was very rude to begin with. I wasn’t happy with my thumb design so I went back an hour later and she told me I should have told them I didn’t like it it when I was there earlier. She ended up fixing my thumbs but not without rudeness and being aggressive. The other customers were staring and I felt embarrassed. This is the first and last time I am coming here.

Nice staff, horrible quality, cheap material. Tried this place 3 times manicure powder which should last at least 3 weeks. However, top coat start to come off the first week and powder starts to chip/crack on the second week. Came, to fix a chipped nail second week, was told to pay $7.00. Even though, salon guarantee for powder nails to last for 3 weeks, they dont stand by their word. Dont recommend this place... Other, salons at least stand by their guarantee 💯.

Improper techniquePositives: The salon itself is very inviting - new and sleek interior with the space kept clean and tidy. The staff is also extremely friendly and accommodating, even offering massages for all manicures and pedicures.Negatives: Despite all of the above, the nail technicians here are not trained properly. Ive been here twice and immediately regretted it both times. The first time I got a pedicure (no complaints here) and gel manicure. The nail technician applied the gel so thickly that it actually stung when I put my hands under the UV light which was quite disconcerting. The technician also tried to take off the gel manicure with a buffing tool rather than acetone which will destroy your nails.The second time I got the dip powder manicure and was alarmed that the nail technician tried to dip my finger into the jar which is a great way to get an infection. Any nail technician worth their salt, would pour the powder over your nail (without trying to catch the excess in the jar) so as to prevent the spread of germs between clients.The prices are a little higher than most salons in the area (but similar to Ballston Quarter Mall overpricing in general). However, there was a discount offered both times.Im giving them 2 stars due to the hospitality they give and interior space but would not recommend getting anything besides simple procedures as the nail technicians are not properly trained.

Went to this salon to give it a try and was very pleased. I had the Sport Pedicure, which is $38.00 my technicians name was Lisa and she did a great job. Nice attention to detail and she did a nice lengthy scrub and massage. Its located in the renovated Ballston Quarter and the salon itself is gorgeous. Will definitely go back to treat myself again.

Horrible service. You can’t tell them you want it a certain way because they will get mad and if you ask for them to fix it they lie and say it can’t be done. Also, took off my gel I had on and made my real nails extremely thin while she was taking it off I told her she hurting me and burning my nail she said “that’s the only way it’s done.” Never has a nail salon burned me when taking off my gel.

I love the cleanliness, friendliness and spaciousness of the establishment. I have been going to Karin for years for a variety of services to include waxing, manicures and pedicures and I am never disappointed. My nails continue to be healthy and strong due to her expertise.

I love this place. It is clean, nice space and the staff is professional. My favorite nail tech is Karen. She pays attention to detail and she takes her time to make it a great experience each time I come. I can show her ANY nail design from the internet and she nails it each time ! The nail tech could not do the design I wanted, apparently Noone could even though it is not difficult, tech didnt speak English, $63 for pedi and got nothing more than a wash, no massage, no salt scrub, no mudT. he nails she had one all the way pointed to next finger smh 5 hour stay and most expensive nail appointment of my life abd the decorations were popping off before I even left. Woke up to half of them laying on my pillow this morning.What a waste of time and money...now today I have to take more time and money to fix this mess

Definitely more then 5 stars! I had Mimi do my nails and I absolutely loved the job she did . She’s very friendly and today I’m getting my facial done by her. I definitely recommend this place. It’s located right in Ballston Mall. Try them out, you won’t regret it.

Made a 6:30 appointment, got there and was seated only to wait over an hour to get my nails done. I paid for my friend and I, who got a basic mani-pedi with clear polish. I got a gel manicure and normal pedi. The total was $135 for the both of us. I’m appalled at the cost for the horrible service we received. I would not recommend

The tech is so kind that she chose the colors for me since I was not sure what I wanted. I never had a nails salon that chose the polish for me since most of them would say noI I had a great experience here and happy with the color that they chose for me .

2022: This is my go to nail salon, I wont go anywhere else. I love the quiet, helps me relax. My nails always look great. My pedicure relax me so much Im falling asleep. Kimmy is my favorite nail technician. Ive been to many places in Arlington, but always find myself coming back here. Always get greeted at the door and before Covid that greeting came with a hug lol. Love this place 10/10!

Got my nails done here, fingers and toes. They did a excelente job. And took there time. I got one of the expensive spa pedis. But for the FRIST TIME EVER, it was worth the money. No rushing, and glitter polish I picked is a pain to put on, but he guy who was my nails tec did the best job ever with the glitter. I luff it💗.

I just wanted to say how wonderful the people are that work here. The receptionist is very friendly and kind as well as all the nail techs. They do such an excellent job my regular manicure lasted 10 days without chipping.My daughter left her iPad in the store today and she didn’t tell me until 10:30 pm today I called and emailed the store. One of the guys Vu, who works there was so sweet he called me right away and drove to the store at 11 pm at night to check for it for me so I could sleep with out wondering where it is. He also lives 30 minutes away. What a wonderful thing to do for somebody. He found it and actually delivered it to me tonight. Thank you for great service and going above and beyond as a human. Not enough people do anymore.

Beautiful, large (not cramped) facility, lovely sleek decor, very nice clean bathroom. No loud yacking among employees, just soft peaceful music appropriate for a spa. Im fairly tall (57.5), so I wouldve preferred a pedicure chair that goes back further. I got the sport pedicure ($38), which for $8 more than classic ($30) only added sea salt scrub, but Im attending a wedding, so I figured I could use the extra polish. A little more than Im used to paying ($25-$30 range that already includes sea salt AND paraffin), but, hey, I can walk here. There was a bit of a communication problem, but we worked through it with some gesturing. (I actually prefer this to having the employee try to engage me in mundane conversation when I just want to relax.) I was only allowed to have both feet in the water at the very beginning. I could keep my left foot in the water while she trimmed, etc. the right nails but then I was not allowed to put my right foot back in the water while she trimmed the left, apparently because shed already put lotion on the toes and bottom of my right foot. Maybe let me keep my feet in the nice warm water and put the lotion on the bottoms of my feet when you do the sea salt on everywhere else? During the actual polishing, my hot towel got cold, clammy and should have been removed then (whereas it stayed on until the end), but not a huge deal. However, I did basically get 2 massages - - one with the sea salt and another nice long one with a beautiful smelling massage oil. They DO use a disposable plastic bowl liner, which helps prevent infection or fungus transfer. The pedicure itself looks PERFECT, which IS the whole point. All of my nails are very even with each other, which to me is the sign of a professional nail job (not just willy nilly lengths with no uniformity). Im writing this in real time, so once a couple of the employees didnt have customers, they did start talking loudly, but I mentioned my review and they got quiet again. All in all, a very pleasant experience with a few glitches, but they ARE new. As it turns out, they were still offering their grand opening 30% off, so it was only $26.60.

Lana did a great job with my SNS nails. I walked in at the closing time, and she was able to take me in, and stayed late to work on my nails. I never felt the rush, and she did a wonderful job. Thank you, Lana!

Went here for the first time yesterday, and the experience was superb! The ladies were all so friendly-everyone can speak English :) the facility is so modern and clean and the atmosphere so relaxing. Recommend for everyone!

I’ve had nothing but the best experience with Lana and the team at Allure Nails In Ballston Mall every time that I come, I feel like I have been truly at a day spa in a calm and relaxing atmosphere which is clean and I’ve never been kept waiting. The quality of their work is impeccable.

Treated my 17 year old sister for a full set of nails for her Homecoming party. I dropped her off late Friday 9/27. The nail tech that did her nails even though she tried to make them the shape she wanted (coffin) failed horribly. My sister being shy and not wanting to hurt anyones feelings did not say anything at all right away. The day of homecoming she finally told us that all her friends had beautifully done nails and she found herself hiding them the whole night. I went back to the nail salon to have them fix the misshaped nails only be told that they will charge 50% to fix their mistake. I had just paid ($50) plus ($5 tip) to be told they will not fix their poorly done job!They only offered 50% money back and thats it!

I went in for a basic gel mani and Michelle gave me some adorable holiday designs! The salon was clean, Michelle was very kind, and I was in and out in an hour. Would definitely go back.

A true hidden gem and the best nail salon I’ve been to in the DMV. They always do an excellent job and provide great customer service.

They were busy but still got us seated in massage chairs while we waited! Amazing mani and pedi. They did a great job and were so kind. The place is very clean and quiet and they genuinely focused on the client and not their phones like other places!

My friend and I went for manicures last weekend at Allure. We were told a week earlier that a classic mani was $18. We walked in and we’re told the wait would be 20 minutes max. We waited 40 minutes, and after we were taken, they were annoyed my friend and I wanted to sit together, there was no lotion provided during the manicure, the painting was sloppy and rushed, and the price increased $2 within the first month of being open. I will not return to this place.

My pedi was excellent. Someone else did my mani. It’s not the best I’ve had but it isn’t the worst either. I’ve had a mani by Linda a few times in the past and she does an excellent job, but she wasn’t here today. The space is nice and relaxing. Pricing is on the higher end.

The salon is well decorated, huge, and clean. I don’t know how they keep the salon with that big in size and lots of traffic with customers always clean and smells good. I am totally impressed with my experience here! I have been to multiple nail salons in Arlington, but always have a hard time going back to those places because they do not seem to be as clean as Allure Nail Spa

My first time shouldve been my last. The first time I got a take down of my acrylics and then a gel polish on my natural nails.. my first red flags was how aggressive the techs were when taking on my acrylics.. the second red flag was when they ripped off a piece of my natural when taking off the acrylic due to their agression. Then while getting my natural nails done they gave me a really short cut and file WITHOUT EVEN ASKING.. so by the end of my appointment I came out with SHORT AND RIPPED natural nails...And then my second time.. like I didnt learn my lesson the first time and the reason why Im writing this review... all I have to say is CRUSTY CROOKED OVER PRICED NAILS... that is what my nails came out like by the end of the appointment.. did I say something you might ask.. yes.. 3 DAMN TIMES... so Im mad mad and they wont be getting my business again.This isnt worth $60..

This place is great! Just got a gorgeous set of nails and toes done. The team was very attentive and nice. They have beverages and snacks. I got a neck massage. I will definitely be coming back!

They lied and said they can do a design but couldn’t. Rushed my nails , came out very ugly and I’m not happy with the work I got. You better off going to the hood. I got short nails but changed me 10$ for long.

Me and my husband went to this place for the first time the service was not good and they did not give the same service for all customers. After I came home my nail color was coming apart already I am definitely going back to fix it . When I was there I heard another customer complain for the same issue too .omg don’t go there. There are many good places around the area. I know this place looks very nice and neat but it has poor service and after you paid your money then after 3 hrs it’s destroyed 🤷‍♀️I am very mad 😡

Kelly is fabulous if you want to make an appointment, but walk-ins with first available technicians always seem happy with the service.

I just went to there shop to get a pedicure. They said they where busy and offered nothing else. I wonder is it because I do not look like any of there customers? Made me uncomfortable and will never try to return again 👎🏾

I went this past week and they are taking the max amount of efforts to protect their customers and workers from COVID! (Take temp at door, sanitizing, masks, barriers at pedicure and manicure stations) If you’re thinking about going I would recommend 👍🏻

Please DO NOT buy gift cards from this location! This is the second time I try to redeem a gift card and to my surprise “it doesn’t have any funds!” I even had the purchase receipt, but they still did not honor it and made me pay. They are scamming people!

I love the color that they tinted my eyebrows and eyelash.  They look so natural and beautiful.  Great service.
