Senay and the team worked on her hair and we loved the results!I would give 100 starts if I could, I also got my hair done here and loved it!I’m so thankful that I found this salon, we are definitely coming back.

Absolutely love this place! As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted and offered something to drink (tea, coffee, water). I’ve been seeing Jazz for a little over a year and I couldn’t be happier with his services. He not only is an amazing hair stylist, he’s also an excellent MUA. He’s very knowledgeable and keeps me updated throughout the process. They also do bridal/bridal party hair&make-up which is a plus! I always leave feeling beautiful and with healthy hair :)

Jazz is my go-to hairstylist. He has done my hair for the last two years and kills it every time!! Before Jazz, I also had my hair done by Jaspreet and she was amazing too. I always get a haircut and balayage by Jazz. He is constant and always makes great conversation during the appointment. I have been going to this location of Alura Veda for 3 years and only have good things to say about the stylists!! If you are looking for a new hair salon, this is your place!!

Did a nice job with hair but horrible experience with makeup. Sima was very nice but not able to precisely apply eyeshadow or lipstick. I asked for one color and she gave me an entirely different lip color that wasn’t even applied within my lip shape. She also didn’t set the makeup and when I looked closer at my face immediately after, everything was very messy. She asked Jazz to apply my eyelashes and he was very nice but the lashes came off within an hour. My sister’s lashes also came off before mine. I returned to the salon and he reapplied them and reassured me that they would stay on for my brother’s wedding and one of them came off again a few hours later. The lashes were also never blended in with my natural lashes. Particularly frustrating because I expressed our disappointment to them and all they did was give us 10% off of our hair the next day. Again, would say they did a good job with hair but would never get makeup done here.Edit: The manager reached out to us and did refund the makeup experience for Saturday. I appreciate the customer service and would consider going back. Just avoid Sima at all costs.

I can’t say enough about my incredible experience with Senay! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and listened attentively to what I wanted. She has a great sense of style and it’s clear she genuinely care about her client’s satisfaction. Her haircut is stylish, modern, and exactly what I had envisioned. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I saw Senay for balayage and a haircut and I couldn’t be happier! 💇🏻‍♀️The color is perfect and the cut has made my hair so much easier to blow dry and style. My appt took longer than expected because my hair takes a little longer to lift, but Senay still took the time to give me an awesome blowout which I really appreciated. It’s clear she takes a lot of pride in her work! Everyone at the salon was super nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend!!

I have been to this location quite a few times and each time is a great experience. I have thin, fine hair. Today I was in need of a quick haircut (hair was mid back or slightly longer) and in the time slot I needed was Humaira (an assistant is her label in booking appointments). She was super sweet, understood I was not a big talker, and she did an amazing job!!!! This pic is w/o products - which I asked her not to use and the cut/fall are amazing. Already made another appointment for Humaira and scheduled my daughters appointment with her as well. Highly recommend this Aveda salon, no matter who you go with.

I scheduled an appointment for my 2 boys, who have thick, curly hair. We recently moved to the area. With both children, their hair was cut too short, a concern that was also made on the FB post where I got the salons information in the first place. However, I made another appointment thinking I would try to give better directions about what we wanted. The location is good and I liked being able to book online. As we neared the salon, I was called asking if we were on our way for our appointment. They told me that the system booked us for 15 minutes earlier than what I had in my calendar. I wouldnt have booked that time given that I had to pick said child up from school and wouldnt have gotten there in time. The receptionist canceled our appointment despite us being close by. They did not attempt to reschedule and seemed uncertain what to even say - the receptionist was silent on the phone for an uncomfortably long time. You should also know that you will be spammed with email. I received more than 10 emails in a week.

I regularly go for a cut and style, and Jazz crushes it every time. Expert technical skill (and the best scalp massage 👌🏼) and is very intentional about making sure my style turns out just how I like it. I highly recommend if you are looking for a new stylist in the Ashburn/Leesburg area!

I just had my lashes done by Alura Veda’s new, resident lash artist!!! Her name is Abby and she has years of experience. I’d NEVER had my lashes done before and wasn’t sure what to expect… and it was WONDERFUL!!! Abby is so gentle and has an incredibly light touch. It was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep!!! And my lashes??? AMAZING!!! They are nice and full but look TOTALLY natural. I won’t even have to wear mascara!!! Go see Abby ASAP for beautifully done, fabulous lashes!!!

Love this salon so much! My husband, son (4 years old) and myself got our services by Jazz. Hes extremely talented with his work, very warm personality, gentle and friendly with kids. I got my caramel highlights + keratin + haircut today and couldnt be happier!! Been at good salons in Mumbai, India and California, I have to say this salon is top notch. Jazz is definitely my stylist now. It was very hard to find a good salon but Im so happy with Jazzs work on my hair. He gives good advice and gives the best haircut. I had a facial and some skin treatments by Shannon. She is both an RN and a medical aesthetician. She listened to my concerns and prescribed a treatment plan. It was very soothing, painless and relaxing. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing it and was always on top of my being comfortable. I highly recommend Shannon and I look forward to getting another treatment soon.

I could not be happier with my experience at Alura Veda. I’m super picky about my hair and equally picky about cost for hair especially when I’m not super thrilled with the result. But, I’ve been coming to Jazz for about two years now and he is great - I’ve never had more consistent cuts in my life! It’s because of his precision and skill that I finally felt comfortable going short after years assuming I couldnt pull it off. And, Alura is better priced than other salons in the area. Very happy every 6-8 weeks! Thank you Jazz - and Alura Veda!

Received 5-star hair transformation service at ALURA VEDA with the talented Russel. My hair was in terrible condition, had no shape and color was faded. Russel spent ample time coloring my hair, cut in beautiful layers with fringe around my face. My hair looked so in style, healthy and with incredible shine. Everyone at the salon was nice and the atmosphere pleasant with TV on the ceiling to watch relaxing video while getting your hair washed. Highly recommend this Aveda salon and booking with the amazing stylist Russel.

I love this Alura Veda salon in Ashburn. I highly recommend it to anyone new to the area, (or anyone looking to up their hair game). The environment is always clean and stylish. The whole staff is welcoming. And my stylist, Jazz, is amazingggggg. I have lived all over the US, (in major cities and random towns), so I have had quite a few hair dressers. For me to admire one so much is truly a big deal. Jazz is professional, sharp and talented. (I cannot believe I found him.) He is one of a kind, worth every single penny, and I cannot recommend him enough.

Mesut has been cutting and coloring my hair for 15 years, and he is a BRILLIANT artist & stylist!!! He has created a beautiful salon and MedSpa with a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, and I ALWAYS enjoy my visits! Ive also gotten to know a few of the other stylists... Jaspreet, Jazz, and Russell... and the work they do is INCREDIBLE!!! They also have a licensed Massage Therapist doing massages, and a Registered Nurse performing amazing aesthetic treatments. I would give this 0 but you can’t the washing the hair was nice they have a Tv on the roof for you to watch but as soon as you get into the chair they ask you how much you want off I said 1 centimeter and she cut off more like 1 inch or 2 inches even and I’ve been trying to grow my hair and that works just gone in one second she took 30 minutes to blow dry her hair when I do it at home and takes five

Mesut is the most talented stylist for my kind of hair since I was a child when my mother found a stylist that cut and styled President Kennedy’s children, John and Caroline. Mesut and a stylist in Rome, Italy are the most amazing talented for curly hair. I have been going to Mesut for about 20 years, before he started his own business….the BEST!!

I’ve been to a lot of salons but this is by far my favorite! The hair stylists take the time to listen to what I want yet give advice on all things hair. I trust all the hair stylists there but my go to girl is jaspreet! She styles my hair exactly how I want it each time!

Russel gave me a beautiful haircut just like I wanted. I showed a 90s bob hairstyle and he gave me the exact look. I’m so glad I went here. The price was a little on the higher side but was worth it because it’s been a while since I have had a haircut that I actually loved.

I gave Jaspreet creative license to improve my haircut color. My hair turned out gorgeous! She added some highlights and a few low lights. It looked so natural yet amazing. Normally I have to get used to a hair coloring, but this turned out exactly how I imagine my hair looks in my mind. ( I still think of myself as blond, but I am actually brunette now. So the golden highlights were perfect.) One of my co-workers said my hair color actually enhanced the glow of my summer tan. Jaspreet actually predicted that, I was shocked when she was right!She is great at hair, but she is also a great conversationalist filled with compassion. I had gotten some bad news the day of my appointment and she was very patient with me, as I was having a hard time. She gave me mental space but also kindness and conversations in just the right doses. I am thankful I found such a great beautician!

Got cut and color done with Richa and it was amazing. The highlights had a lot of depth. The shampoo and conditioner was very relaxing. Richa spent a lot of time making sure everything was perfect. Loved the day spent in self care!

I don’t typically write reviews but honestly I’m not sure how this place has 5 stars. They were extremely nice people which is the only reason I’m giving them 2 stars but their ability to color hair is 1 star. I typically go to DC for my hair do it’s my fault for thinking an Aveda salon may be a good option when I wasn’t able to make my normal DC appointment work. I came in only for a root touch up but then he tells me that I don’t have enough balayage in the back. So hesitantly I said ok you can add a few and oh my god my entire back is blonde! Correction it was orange, and then they didn’t another hour and a half correcting that which was then yellow ish orange! I was stunned at the ineptitude. I couldn’t even fix it bc my normal salon wouldn’t touch it after the damage they did. Then they still had the audacity to charge me $180 which I happily paid just to get the hell outta there. I even tipped them well just because they were apologetic. Maybe people are happy with a blow dry here or something but if you are used to getting excellent color services, you will be very disappointed here!

Mesut cut and styled my hair today--it was my first time at this salon. Finding a new stylist is always fraught with angst. I must say, he gave me one of the very best cuts Ive ever had. He is a wonderful, engaging person and a fabulous stylist. I look forward to my next appointment--no angst! Thank you Mesut. You are a gem.

I am a huge fan of how my hair turned out! I waited a few days after my appointment to post a review because I wanted to see how my hair looks after I style it at home. I still LOVE it! I have naturally curly hair and he definitely knew how to cut it! I also got highlights that look stunning. I am happy every time I look in the mirror. Also, they are following safe covid practices - wearing masks and there were never too many people in the salon while I was there.They also now have a masseuse! Unfortunately I did not have enough time to get a massage, but good to know for next time!

I cannot say enough great things about this salon! I met with Amarpreet for the first time and she was fantastic. She has such a wealth of knowledge and really can educate you on everything skin care. She has an attention to detail and uses great technique. Love this place as it is like a One-Stop-Shop place. I got my scalp treatment, hair cut and a custom facial. I have been looking for a salon that has a scalp treatment and finally found it here.Richa did my scalp treatment and the hair cut. She knows what she is doing and you can totally trust her. Mesut, the owner, is an absolute master at coloring hair. Ive been going to him for color and a straight blowout since I was about 14 years old. I always leave with my highlights coming out even better than I expected and my blowout is always smooth, soft, and lasts for days. Recently, I ditched the straight style and began wearing my hair naturally curly in a bob after resurrecting it from years of blow drying and flat ironing. After getting a newer rose gold tone highlight done by Mesut, he introduced me to Jessica, who did some magic on my curls and showed me how to maintain my style and how to care for my specific hair type, including what types of products to use.

Russell was my hairstylist and he did a fantastic job! He was very gentle and kind and did exactly what I wanted. Absolutely love my hair thank you Russell!! highly recommend for blondes!

Went in today for root touch up, highlights and haircut. Jaspreet, my stylist and Jessica H, another super knowledgeable stylist there, talked me into not getting highlights because I had previously used a boxed brand on my hair for root touch up. They educated me on how it will essentially damage my hair and I was impressed by their honesty and intergrity. According to their recommendations,I went with a root touch up, deep conditioning and haircut. I was pleased with the end result and will be going back as a loyal customer!!

Amarpreet is AMAZING!! This was my first time meeting her yet minutes into my appointment it felt like I had known her years. I had gone in for a facial and it was great! Amarpreet is super friendly, efficient, knowledgable and accommodating. She really took her time to throughly assess my skin, listen to my concerns and perform the facial. I have been looking for a scalp treatment for my hair. Finally found it here at Alura Veda. Jazz was awesome he talked to me about my issues and the treatment was fantastic. He explained in detailed about the treatment and how it will help me. The scalp treatment is very relaxing and consists of a head massage followed by two hair masks and shampoo. Your hair is blow dried at the end but not styled. Definitely going back.

Everyone at the salon is always welcoming and it is very comfortable and modern inside. I received color/cut/style and love my hair! I always feel great when I leave and the prices are fair. I love the tipping system they use as well . It makes tipping easy.

I am so fortunate to have found Mesut and his wonderful salon! Mesut has been my hair stylist for several years and he is absolutely the best stylist that I have ever had. He is very professional and extremely talented. My hair is extremely thick and I wear it in a classic long layered style. It has always been difficult to find a hairstylist that has the skill and experience that it takes to give my hair the layering and cut that it needs and that works for me. He does this and more. Mesut colors, highlights, cuts, and styles my hair to perfection.

Great services with very fair prices. Masout is very knowledgeable and professional. He cares the most for your healthy hair and least amount of damage to your hair. I heard about this salon on Facebook, and I was so excited to make an appointment! I booked with Amarpreet, and she was very knowledgeable and explained the treatment very well which I appreciated. I went in for a custom facial with pore extractions. Amarpreet was very gentle on my skin, and also gave me a few extra tips and tricks! Mesut always does my hair and my daughters hair and it always turns out great! We always get the highlights & cuts and every so often we get the keratin treatment. They also use great products!

I was nervous about get my hair cut short. The last time it was short was in 1978. The girl that cut my hair did amazing.The only thing I was would change is the prices. I really would like to see the high lighting price get lower.

I normally dont leave reviews for places, but I had a pretty unpleasant experience here and felt the need to share it. I came here for a haircut which looked nice initially, but I noticed the next day that it was really uneven in the back. I called this salon and asked if there was any way that I could come in and have it fixed, and the woman said that I could come in any time and they would fix it for free. I went in that day, which I appreciate (usually salons are pretty busy and arent always that flexible). However, I had to wait a while, even though there was only one person getting their hair done and several hairdressers available. After waiting for over 40 minutes, two women sat me down in a chair and looked at my haircut and said it was a good haircut, and if I still wanted it to be fixed, I would have to pay for it. I even showed them that it was slanted in the back, and the layers were not blended in well. The two women insisted that it was a good cut, so I excused myself, went home, and fixed it myself with the first pair of scissors I saw, and it turned out great. I just feel that it was strange that they refused to do what they promised to over the phone, as well as making me wait a long time while there were many hairdressers available. Also, during my initial appointment, my hairdresser kept asking about my ethnicity, which I definitely didnt mind at first, but it kind of made me uncomfortable when she kept asking about it several times.

Richa is excellent in every way and I would go to her again and again for Hair cut and Balayage. I was very reluctant in getting hair color done because I have thin hair. She recommended me to go for balayage and I am loving it 💗 wish I could post some pictures

Jaspreet is the best hair stylist I have ever been to! She not only understands the exact style and color I want she goes above and beyond to make sure I absolutely love my hair. It has always been hard for me to find a hair stylist that can handle my thick dark south Asian hair. Jaspreet always gets the perfect shade of light brown/blonde highlights that not only look amazing but compliment me. If you are in the area request Jaspreet she is amazing!

Mesut is rock solid! My hair always looks great after he dies it. Plus he is always professional, always cheerful and he gets me in and out.

Literally told me to save my money and let my hair grow and come back in two months because I would be much happier then to fix the cut and let it grow out for several months after. Even offered me a complimentary conditioning treatment for wasting my time which I declined out of respect for his honesty which I appreciated quite a bit. Was much more interested in doing what was right for me vs making themselves money and I will def be back!
