Rais Rendezvous Kitchen Bar

We were in town visiting and wanted to find a place we could watch the Womens soccer gold medal match. We unfortunately didnt see they offered brunch, so we had breakfast before going. However, they had a full brunch menu that looked delicious and we gladly took part in their libations. They had a $10 bloody Mary special with $1 refills! The big screen was set up and there was a watch party going on, so it ended up being perfect!

Super cool place to eat with delicious food, fun games, and plenty of TVs to watch sports. Our waiter was excellent and kept on top of our orders and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding! Highly recommend the hummus and pita and the chicken breast from the small plates menu.

Where do I even begin? The customer service: outstanding. The food: outstanding. The vibe.... Okay you get it. BEST neighborhood bar and restaurant in Ashburn!!!HIGH QUALITY HIDDEN GEM.We visited this restaurant for the first time today. We had lunch and it was AWESOME. The chef even brought out one of our plates and introduced himself?! The food and service was so great, we actually came back the same day for happy hour and had an equally amazing experience! 🤩I dont know which server was better... our lunch time, server or happy hour server but both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. Both were extremely friendly and smiling to make for a great experience!Our new fave. See you there.Oh, and this very well may be our official NFL game watch spot in the fall. 👏🏼👏🏼

What a great surprise!Had not considered Rais Rendezvous until we decided to go with friends. The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive and VERY accommodating.We loved the appetizers (especially the brussel sprouts). The Tajin flavored wings were a delicious surprise as well.Everything we ordered was delicious! From the Ruben sandwich to the shepherds pie (it was a Saint Patricks day special), everything was awesome.We did not know there would be live music, but two big thumbs up to the David Thong Trio! The music was outstanding and made our visit even better.We will certainly be returning to Rais for another visit. Likely for their happy hour!Looking forward to drinks on their outdoor patio this summer.

This is a bit of a challenging review for me. Mediterranean is one of my wifes favorite cuisines, but not mine. But with that in mind, I have to give them 5 stars. We split a few plates and had a couple drinks. I was initially impressed with the hummus and the very obviously custom crafted pita. The grilled heirloom carrots were good, flavorful and cooked to just barely done perfection. Lamb lollipops were similarly perfect. The Arayes burger was a fine blend, cooked more than Id prefer, to at least medium, but well seasoned. The pita in this instance wasnt my favorite, though it did hold things together well. Feta/Zatar fries were good.

We had a birthday ➕ post season football.🏈 My parents have high expectations for service, quality of food and on point beverages! The team ( 💯 a team) went above our expectations and exceeded my parents expectations for a perfect match for football, drinks, food, family and fun! Jenna and Basil have done a meticulously planned implementation of Rendezvous into their family brand with neighboring 5 star restaurants and bars! All of the best people locally are working as a team at one of their locations in our community.

Fun local place that was sorely needed in Ashburn. Loved the graffiti decor on the walls. Lots of screens to watch and a hopping bar area. As they advertise tapas we expected more....its elevated bar food actually. Pretty good. Pretty expensive too for what you get. The Lobster Deviled Eggs dont hold a candle to the ones at Coastal Flats. Chicken Lollipops were pretty tasty. Service was great and friendly.

This place is amazing! This is our new favorite to go for great food! The service is great food is ridiculous with tons of flavor and the atmosphere is nice. They have a DJ and a gaming room as well. Pretty nice bar and out door seating. Cant wait to go back!

I have been to Rai’s a couple times and I just keep coming back! The staff is so warm and accommodating and really make you feel like you’re home. I have had a couple different dishes and can honestly say I have been extremely happy with each one. The ambiance is fun and inviting and great to go with family or friends. Highly recommend!

Fantastic evening! This was our first visit here and the food was amazing. I didnt get photos of all the food but I did get desert. The head Chef even came out and thanked us for coming in and inquired on the service and food. My wife and I were really impressed by this. If youre looking for good food and a great atmosphere, do yourself a favor and make plans to go here. You wont regret it.

This place is not good. I’ve eaten here twice and both times the food and service was incredibly mediocre. These “huevos rancheros with home fries” came to our table and my fiancé and I just stared at each other with confusion. I tried it—it’s gross. Please save your time and your money.

Rai Rendezvous is a new eatery in Ashburn VA. The seared pork belly and grilled chicken are excellent. The staff always goes above and beyond. Chef John heard we were there and whipped up a batch of cookies (used on the ice cream sandwich ) as its only dessert item that doesnt have egg and cows milk. Good food, service, ambient and beer. Menu is bit different like small portions dishes, but all delish.

I cant say enough great things about Rais Rendezvous. The owners were extremely nice and great to talk to. The short ribs and lamb chops were phenomenal. The entire restaurant is covered in graffiti style art. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back for more. PS- I got the gluten free cookies without the ice cream, because they are vegan and gluten free and they were sooo yummy. Nom nom nom.

My fiancée and I visited after a recommendation from our leasing office and are so glad we did!The food was all delicious and gorgeous! We did a mix of small plates (the mushrooms, feta fries, lamb lollipops, and pork belly) and a smash burger and upgraded to the feta fries (versus the house made chips)!The mushrooms managed to taste fresh and bright but retain a bit of that earthiness.The feta fries, they will live rent free in my mind. The sauce pairing there is INSANE. We ended up paying to upgrade our side on the burger to those fries just to have more.The lam was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and came with 3 lollipops which seemed fair for the price in our opinion.The pork belly was an absolute treat, so crunchy but flavorful and slightly fatty without being overbearing.The burger was really good too! The seasoning isnt what I would have expected necessarily on a burger but it fits well with the other flavors of the menu and tasted great!We spent about $90 + tip for 4 small plates, the burger with the upgrade to the feta fries, and 3 alcoholic beverages and we felt that was overall a fair price for the quality of the food. If you arent used to doing a tapas style meal its typically recommended that you do 2-3 plates per person which does increase the price.The service was great! Both our server and our bartender were great, friendly, and everything came out at a reasonable pace. We will definitely be back!

My family was excited to try this place but left very disappointed. Service was very slow and couldnt find the waitress when we needed her. Had to ask someone for plates and silverware.The food was meh. My son had Old Bay wings and a burger which he loved. My daughter couldnt eat the pita/hummus because it was way too oily. She liked the tuna dish though. We were given the feta and avocado dish but didnt order it, so we had to make sure it wasnt on our bill. My wife and I shared the Harris harissa chicken which was almost undercooked (I thought I saw pink spots but couldnt tell in the light, I just stopped eating it). We also had the pork belly which was a bit overcooked, flavor was good though.The cocktail and wine selection is limited. The waitress recommended not getting any of the mocktails since shes never tried them nor heard anyone ordering them.It was to hot to sit outside so we opted for inside, but the music was so loud we couldnt have a conversation.Would we come back? Undecided, but probably not. Unless a friend goes there and loves it.At least my son left happy and full.

Probably some of the worst food Ive ever had. Barely took 4 bites in total. Completely flavorless, gross and all over just not edible. I dont know who thought any of these items should be served. Steer clear of this place. Hopefully it gets repurposed soon.

Yummy food and great service. So much I want to try on the menu so definitely returning. They do have a good kids menu which we didnt see online. Update: returned and it was still great.

Service was impeccable. We have Celiacs in our family and can’t eat gluten. Wow what a great place and safe for us not to get sick. I recommend the ceviche, carrots, deviled eggs (not gf). We also had the steak!!! Yummy and highly recommend. Will not disappoint. We have seen this location change hands so many times this one might just be a keeper. Summer outside seating so excited to see it this summer and possible bands.

A friend and I went for happy hour and had a fantastic experience! We got several small plates to share and all were fresh and delicious. Service was great, our waiter was very kind, and a few other people stopped by to see how we were doing. It was a cozy location and we will certainly be back.

Service was great but food was not good. Portion sizes are incredibly small. They do tell you the dishes are tapas sizes but nothing we had tasted very good. We ordered half the menu of small plates. Short ribs were way over cooked. Lamb chops were just sad. We also ordered a chicken sandwich which to our surprise was very small. It looked like a kid size sandwich. Wont be visiting again. But kudos to the service.

The food is amazing! The double smash burger is a must order item, the flavor profile is out of this world! The service was very on top of their game and made sure to check in regularly and made sure we were taken care of. 10/10 would absolutely come back again!

Honestly disappointed with my last experience.I visited Rais Rendezvous the first time with a group of friends , we liked the food in general.The next time I went with the fam , our arrays burger came raw , we immediately informed the waiter and she took back our plate to the kitchen.We Waited 30 min for the replacement meal to arrive and the portion size was very small.Sincerely.

Good atmosphere for family or watching the game. Food was good--some dishes more balanced in flavor than others. Tapas-style small plates, some handheld, and a kids menu.

My new favorite restaurant. Pricing and portioning is very awkward—3 plates of food will feed 2 people. However, the quality of food negates those issues. This is the best food I’ve ever had for 25$ per person. Came here twice, and the second time tasted better than the first. The food quality and flavor is astounding. So many unique plates with different flavors, yet the kitchen is able to capture all of the different palettes so well. Cannot rave enough about this place.

My friends discovered this wonderful place not too long ago and it has slowly turned into our favorite hangout spot. They have a variety of amazing food options, and the service is like none other. Tony, andrew and taylor never fail to make you feel welcome and invited. They are some of the most knowledgeable and kind bartenders in loudoun. I’ve made newfound friends that pick up our conversations right where we left it off. Couldn’t recommend a place more!

A great addition to the Loudoun dining scene. The small plates are innovative, creative and flavorful! The happy hour is a great time to sample a few different items. The happy hour wine is also of good quality. We will be back!

As Gordon Ramsey would say... Wow-wow-wow. Rais Rendezvous is definitely Ashburns newest top restaurant. The food was delicious and amazing. We tried 4 different small plates and it was impossible to pick which one we loved the most; they were all that great. We cant wait to go back, and interested in trying Karaoke or Trivia nights!

Great place for event and games. Large dining room, private party room, and even cabanas outside. Try the steak and any of the pizza!

The food here was so >surprisingly< sophisticated and worth every penny of every bite and left us wanting more. It’s unique atmosphere, with a family friendly vibe. Great mixed drinks. I only wish we had ordered something with bread to mop up all the amazing sauces in each dish we ordered… Highly recommend!

Second time at Rai’s and both times were impressed with excellent food, great and friendly service, and a fun atmosphere! The tapas style menu makes it easy to try a lot of different dishes, and all of them were delicious! Will definitely be back!

Truly have outdone themselves. This is probably the most unique restaurants I’ve experienced. From the decor to the pinball machines, outstanding crew and amazing layout.But where it hits a home run,The menu is out of this world.The Chef has really made this place standout, from the tantalizing apps that you just don’t see anywhere, to the main dishes, just simply amazing , different than the norm, but what makes this place special is the staff, and the atmosphere.Definitely worth a try, but you’ll have to keep coming back , there are many genuinely unique dishes to try.

Went there for my birthday dinner and food was great. Didnt find anything wrong with anything that we ordered. Need to go back to try the rest of the menu.Service was great and the atmosphere was great. It is kind of like a fancy sports bar so you can enjoy the games while still having a conversation at the table. The outdoor setup looks great, but it was too cold to sit outside when we were there.I hope this place keeps to their current idea. Lots of other business have failed at this location, but Rais has found something that could work for the area. We chatted with the staff before leaving, and they are very nice and welcoming.

They had one server. Went to bar to order drinks and food. Bartender was great. Told him I would be ordering via bar because owners did not staff correctly during ncaa tournement. Owner overheard and freaked out and said i was rude.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. This time it was my wife and I, along with another couple, eating at this place.The experience was wonderful. We had mostly vegetarian small plates to share. The food was great and the service was wonderful. We especially loved the decor and the setting of the restaurant.Definitely worth eating at and highly recommended

We went for their New Years Eve event.Dont waste your time.They charged us gratuity and a base charge to my wife and I and our two friends. And . . . they did the same to our two friends. So between the two husbands, we paid for eight peoples gratuity and base charge ($206.00). A young fellow (manager?) told my wife to give him her email and he would make it right. He never contacted her.We were supposed to be seated at 8:15 with a dinner package shortly thereafter. They were so disorganized and slow, we got our dinner at 10:30, while people were crushing into the dinner area to party.We wish the Bungalow establishment was still here. This group is dishonest. Once a restaurant gets the reputation for no integrity and a rip-off, it shouldnt be here long.I would have thought the Rais brand would have been better. I would avoid all of them.

One of the best restaurants visits Ive had in a long time.A guest in our party had an extensive list of food allergies. The menu was quite clear on what was vegan and gluten free, which helped a lot. The staff was amazingly accommodating of all of our needs and made sure to ask lots of questions.Food was excellent. Service was awesome, personable and knowledgeable.I will absolutely be returning.

The design of the establishment is not appealing, blending elements of a sports bar—by an abundance of screens—with a family-friendly atmosphere, yet it fails to comfortably accommodate either setting. Beyond the mismatched themes, the menu and pricing present further challenges. Opting for an exclusively tapas-based menu in Ashburn is risky, and charging full meal prices for tapas portions amplifies that risk. Its conceivable for an individual to order 3 to 4 items, totaling around $60, and after adding a couple of drinks, and a tip, the cost could escalate to between $130 and $150. Regrettably, neither the ambiance nor the dining experience justify these prices. I am willing to pay such amounts when the quality and experience merit it, but that is not the situation here. My advice is to clarify your identity as a restaurant—decide whether you aim to be a sports bar or a family-oriented venue. The current mix of decor, menu, prices, and seating arrangement is untenable

Had a fun New Year’s Eve there with dinner and dueling pianos. The waitstaff was so nice and friendly and patient! We enjoyed our espresso martinis, NY strip, cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake. The buttery pita bread and basil mashed potatoes were also standouts. Rey fun atmosphere!

We had such an amazing first experience here tonight. The tapas menu is superb and the food is incredible. The service is spot on (TY Taylor!). We LOVE the vibe here. I can see this place blowing up in a great way. If you like normal and boring, ramble on. If you like great food, vibe and music, Ill see you here.

Rais Rendevous serve their food tapas style and it was delicious. We ordered almost every item in their dinner menu and the did not disappoint. Besides the food being great the service is outstanding. The atmosphere is great as well if you enjoy sports. Overall, this is a great place to go with the family and you will have a good time. Went on a saturday night, so moderately busy, but the food came out so quickly and it was actually so amazing. my bf and i also got a free dish :) definitely best food i have ever had in the dmv area!!! will be coming again and again!

Beautiful atmosphere. The staff is absolutely amazing, they are knowledgeable and eager to make your experience outstanding. The chef came to our table and spoke about the food with so much love and passion. When the food arrived, the aroma reached us before the food. The presentation was 5 stars. They have left nothing out. The TVs and games allowed for our entire family to be entertained the whole time while enjoying the company of each other. Our server went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. By far the best establishment in Ashburn!!! Will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the outside seating.

Staff did a great job keeping up with a demanding New Year’s crowd. Taylor and Abby were consistently cool, patient and attentive to customer’s needs despite having a heavy workload and some curmudgeonly customers. The dueling pianos were great entertainment and the kitchen staff did a wonderful job with the food. Spot on!

The place looks great, service is fantastic, but there is a disconnect between the atmosphere and the menu/prices. It looks and feels like a sports bar, but the prices are very high and the food is very upscale and not what you would expect at a sports bar. It would be good if they added a separate menu perhaps for happy hour that included bar food and at better prices. They don’t have any specials at the moment.

The food is outstanding! Stopped by for lunch as Rais is nearby and looked nice. Huge win to find this place. Brussel sprouts were great as were the Lamb lollypops. My wife really enjoyed the fried Halloumi. Service was top notch as well. Cant wait to come back. 15 Dec 2023.

Cant be beat for a Sunday watching football. The Beer selection was great, the beer I picked was amazing. The Food selection is unlike anything anywhere in Northern Virginia, and Ill say you wont find anything better than this amazing restaurant.

Excellent across the board. The food we ordered was amazing and our server was very attentive. Only one issue regarding them charging for soda refills without telling me but once I mentioned it, they immediately took the charge off my bill. We will definitely return.

Rais Rendezvous is not about customer service. Very money hungry. They advertised for new years eve (2 drinks, entre, side dish and dessert) the steak was so over cooked you needed a chainsaw, side dish never arrived, my friend never received his salad. And I never received my dessert, only 1 drink given not 2. We complained to the owner Basil, unfortunately, he had a line of complaints and was overwhelmed with the lineup of customers wanting to complain. He did tell me to leave if I was unhappy 🙁 very disappointed in his customer service. I will share with loudoun county his false advertisement for New Years Eve. How can he possibly succeed in loudoun county with poor customer service 😕

Absolutely blown away! The place has such a laid-back vibe, but the food? Pure fine dining magic. We tried a lot of the menu, and trust me, every dish was a showstopper. Special shoutouts to the Chickpea Hummus, Shrimp Ceviche, Batata Harissa, Grilled Bavette, Fried Chicken and Fawaffle, and that Halva Blowne for dessert! Its a wild experience - feels like youre chilling in a casual spot but eating the most elevated dishes. Mind = Confused & Impressed!

Very much disappointed with the food and drinks. The food was just ok. Falafel was too salty and the cauliflower was bland. No flavor at all. Prices are very steep for the quantity. Menu does not match the ambience. Was very excited about going o this new restaurant but was quite disappointed.

We walked in on a Sunday evening with a very large group. They easily accommodated us. Service and food were excellent and timely.

Overall a fun place. Portions were small for the prices. Crab cakes werent lump as promised. Sprouts, carrots and arincini were solid.
