What a wonderful massage experience! The design aesthetic was beautiful and very calming. The customer service from the front desk to the massage therapist was A-1. Michelle was very personable and professional. I like how she took the time to explain what to expect prior to heading into our session and to let her know if I needed any changes. My tension has been so much better since this massage. The herbal heat therapy enhancement was a wonderful addition! Highly recommend!

Hidden gem! From the outside it looks small but when you enter the massaging place it’s very big! The ambience was amazing, you feel relaxed. Cleanliness is good! Fragrances used were perfect and not over powering. I also had the pleasure of talking to the owner of this place and she is a great person to talk too. She has a very positive aura. I always come out of my massage feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and I have Ruth to thank for that. She always checks in with me before the massage to understand any new issues I’ve been experiencing and what area I’d like to focus on for the day. Her consultations after the massage are also great as she provides advice on how to maintain an ongoing level of comfort for any muscles that may have been giving me trouble. Had some clerical error occur with scheduling, but Justin behind the front desk was very supportive and patient at getting it figured out.Ended up having a massage with Alex and he was great. Just had my first massage at The Now in Ashburn & it was so wonderful. Thelma at the front desk was so lovely & she and another woman (I forgot to get her name!) were both so kind and welcoming when I arrived. Michelle was my massage therapist & I would HIGHLY recommend her! She listened to my requests & she has magical hands! Somehow she knew exactly what I needed. I will definitely be back!

Went for a massage last week and the masseuse was Anna. I paid for a 50 min massage but to my surprise it was done in 45 mins. On top of that the masseuse did not massage my feet (I got the now massage which is a full body massage and I look forward to shoulders and feet the most) when I asked her why she skipped my feet she said we tailor it according to time and can skip if time doesn’t allow. Let me remind you that we ended the massage 5 minutes sooner so I’m not entirely sure how there was no time!I have a lot of tension in my shoulders and Anna DIDNOT make any effort to relieve some of those knots.I will not be returning!

Fantastic place for a massage! I normally request Jack for his deep tissue massage is one of the best Ive had. Its helped my shoulder injury and has abled me to continue working on myself in the gym for my health with minimal pain.

Cant say enough good things about this place. I went for the first time this week and found it better than any other massage place in Loudoun. My neck is always giving me a bad time so I tend to go monthly and this place is my new favorite.Its clean, well decorated, and very spa like. They only offer massage in lengths up to 80 minutes (I prefer 2 hours for my neck) but Ill be back for sure. I had Michelle as my therapist and she was outstanding! 100% recommend.

Very shady establishment. They do the bait and switch. I was told on the phone that l had one more credit on my membership, so made an appointment. After my appointment the front staff lady said l owe the full price for the massage! I said l have one more credit on my membership and ld like to use that. She had to end up getting the manager because clearly they dontkeep any records. I wouldnt have come if l didnt have a paid massage. l always end up leaving here stressed due to lack of customer service and their unprofessionalism.l ended up signing up for another membership and figured ld cancel after 2-3 months, which mind you the manager said l could do but it must be in writing. So today l wastold after my massage that l canceled my membership, WHAT?! I didnt cancel it! Turned out the owener canceled my membership one day after my last massage. Wow! Do yourself a favor and listen to all the bad reviews here and go somewhere else.

I’ve been going here for a few months. My LMT is Danielle and her knowledge and expertise are top notch! Thank goodness for her b/c she’s helped me gain mobility of my rotator cuff and worked out years of knots that were built up. The receptionist Avani is very courteous and knowledgeable with the store products.

It was some time ago that I went here, and after going somewhere else I realized I never finished writing this.I really hated this place. The front desk is smoothly and efficiently run, but everything else was awful. The loud music made it impossible to communicate with my therapist/hear what she was saying. The massage itself felt abrupt and uncomfortable, something that likely couldve been resolved had the environment been better. I never entered that relaxed blissful massage state, and honestly I felt worse when I left than when I came in. My therapist made a rude comment about my underwear. I wont come back.

Michelle is the absolute best, me and my coworkers and friends all go to her! She makes sure to ask what’s bothering you the most and addresses it. She has great pressure as well! Such a relaxing experience! Can’t wait to come back again!

I thought the experience wasnt lacking in any way for me! It was perfect for what I was looking for. The lady I was with talked with me a couple minutes beforehand because Id never had a professional massage, and she gave a very short rundown of her process. She was gentle, methodical (rather than random and inconsistent timewise), and I liked how she managed and moved the blankets (since Id not done this type of thing, so when the clothes come off, one cant help but track where the edge of the blanket is going to stop at 😜). It was a beautiful place and atmosphere, and the music and experience was very peaceful and minimal in terms of peopling (like I could probably have showed up with only one of my legs being half shaved, and I wouldnt feel like I needed to explain anything).Id recommend The Now for sure.

Jack is the GOAT. Deep tissue is his game, no matter how knotted up you are this man is STRONG. I came in like a coiled up snake and he released every point! Highly recommend.

I had Natasha and she was amazing! I enjoyed the Swedish massage and looking forward to going back. Emily took care of me upon arrival, temperature check was done and everyone was wearing masks. Rocky is an absolute genius- I’ve had chronic neck issues for years, and Rocky has been the only massage therapist to not only listen, but approach my neck from the side with a different technique. No one else has ever been able to relieve it. I can’t say enough great things about the place (super calming, great ambiance), but Rocky is the real reason I keep coming back. Thank you!

Our go to massages are always at the Now. Location is convenient, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The aesthetic is also relaxing and makes you feel like you traveled to a bohemian inspired spa. You can find parking in the one loudoun parking garages and make sure to arrive a little early for your check-in with your masseuse to make sure the experience is tailored to your liking.

The NOW is a great spot and I’m so glad I found it! I can’t say enough good things about my experiences there – the beautiful and inviting environment, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and of course the caliber of the therapists who work their magic! Been several times and have tried several therapists – Michelle, Kaye, Ruthie, to name a few. Everyone is great and would highly recommend it.

Ive been to The Now in Ashburn a few times and Ive seen either Ashely or Andy. Both are fantastic. I love the environment, its so welcoming and peaceful. Ive recently become a member and found the member rates to be reasonable. If you havent been to The Now make an effort to go. Highly recommend.

I booked an appointment for me and my friend to go get massages together about a week in advance. I was getting ready at 6:15 to leave and go pick up my friend for the appointment I thought was at 7. when I saw on my phone it was actually at 6 and that we were late. So I quickly called their number and asked if there was a mistake in the time and if not, could we just come in at 7 instead since they have walk-ins available also. The lady on the phone said no that we could not come in at 7 even though they are open until 8 and have availability slots at 7. we had 6o min sessions booked. she said if I wanted we could come in at 6:30 and do 25 minute massages. so I said yes I would love to do that. my friend and I arrived at 6:35 and the same lady I spoke to on the phone said we couldn’t do our 25 minute massages. I asked why and she just snapped at me and said “no you can’t do them.” Me and my friend were both super confused because she just told us on the phone that we could come in and do a 25 min massage and drove there and then was telling us we couldn’t in person. why didn’t she call us and tell us she changed her mind? I feel like that’s standard practice communication haha. We both didn’t feel any kindness from her. Anyways, I asked if we could just please reschedule it and she said “no” and that if we wanted to reschedule we would need to pay $100 cancellation fee and then pay for a new appointment? so she charged that to my account. I’m not gonna pay for a new appointment at this point because that’s just a huge waist of money on top of her charging us for being a few minutes late. All in all we were just super disappointed in how we were treated and basically kicked out.

The NOW is a great place to get a massage and take some time away from the hustle and bustle of life to slow down and relax. I highly recommend it.

My massage was relaxing. However, that was it. I booked the stretching massage and paid extra for deep tissue. I’m not sure what I actually paid extra for in the end. It felt to me like they cared more about the esthetic than quality of service. The stretch massage more felt like light pressure and pushing/pulling slightly on my limbs. There was once where I felt like the MT was starting to give deep tissues but it only lasted for a few short minutes. I too was surprised when they mentioned it was over. If you want a relaxing massage then I’d recommend. However, the stretch being for athletes is falsely represented. I was sore when I came in and felt no relief outside of being more relaxed when I left. My preference is to feel the MT deeply massaging out my muscles. This time it felt like someone lightly rubbing their hands across me. Disappointed I paid $15 for deep tissue to have only received a tiny bit of it on my back. Just not my preference when it comes to a massage place! Staff was all very friendly though and again the overall vibe was nice.

I had a 50 minute massage with Michelle this week and it was incredible. She asked about my preferences beforehand and checked in to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was right. I’d come in with a sore lower back and tight neck/shoulders, but left feeling so relaxed and comfortable. My back and neck even popped a few more times throughout the day, and I slept really well that night.

Kaye is an AMAZING masseuse and Im so happy I found her! She knows how to find the tight spots and does a great job working to release built up tension. Each time I see her I leave feeling extremely relaxed and renewed. Highly recommend her!

I have been working with Massage Therapists for last 20 years in many places in the US and EU for deep tissue massages - and can confidently say that the head therapist Cristina is really really good. The therapy begins with reminders on deep breathing - and by the time the session was done, she almost reinstated this simple but essential habit. I booked a massage for my husband and he did not have a good experience. Frist, I booked the massage with a female and when he arrived he was given a male massage therapist. He said the rooms werent at all private, the massage therapist didnt give a good massage at all, and he wanted to leave 5 minutes into the massage. Disappointed that I booked something for him and it was such a bad experience.

I experienced that this Wednesday after my 80 minute Healer massage with Tyler. I have had hundreds of massages and this Reiki massage that Tyler gave me was one of the best that I can remember. It was my husband who scheduled the visit, aiming to rekindle the synergy between my mind and body as I have been all out of sorts mentally. Typically, my preferences lie with Thai massages for their intense deep tissue work, or the indulgent services at Salamander when Im treating myself. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service at NOW.I must mention that experiences at any spa can be quite subjective, depending on factors like your emotional state and the therapists disposition. As someone who keeps three massage places in my rotation and has seen the highs and lows, Ive come to appreciate this variance. Normally, I dont pen down reviews, but the comfort, empathy, and especially the remarkable massage I received from Danielle warranted recognition.NOW Massage struck a chord with me due to its calming atmosphere and decor, reminiscent of my previous visit to their California branch. The serene environment and the cordial staff, with their soothing demeanors, helped to assuage my overwhelmed state.Upon my arrival, I was led to a quiet corner for a candid discussion about my needs. I was then ushered into a dimly lit and calming back room that was beautifully silent.My husband had scheduled an 80-minute session with three enhancements – deep tissue, heat therapy, and cupping, the latter being something I had never tried before but piqued my interest. I was given the flexibility to change the enhancements to better suit my needs. Based on the therapists advice and my trapezius issue, I opted for the cupping and a peppermint balm. While the peppermint balm was not very noticeable, I cant dismiss its potential role in my exceptional massage experience.The cupping experience was a revelation. As someone who relishes deep tissue work, I was amazed at how effective cupping was in providing relief. The therapy involves creating a vacuum on the skin to lift the tense fascia, contrary to deep tissue massage which kneads tension downwards. The resulting relief was profound, grounding me in a way that allowed my mind to relax and wander less. The intensity of the cupping was a different kind of pain, fleeting yet effective, allowing for a deeper and unparalleled relaxing massage. In fact, I found myself drifting off towards the end of the session, which is completely new to me, a testament to the level of relaxation achieved.My only wish was to have had the option of adding extra minutes to focus on feet (experienced reflexology seems up their alley in terms of branding) and more focus on the neck/shoulder area, possibly next time I go, maybe adding the gua sha enhancement with cupping for an even more immersive experience.One should be prepared for the temporary marks that cupping leaves behind. However, the relief and tranquility it brings far outweighs this minor inconvenience.

High Asburn prices (expected) and a top-notch massage. Facility is clean/nice, and a little odd with curtains between stalls, and the ceiling fan is stupid loud. Worth a trip if this is your cup of pricey tee...Kay was great!

Hands down - the best massage Ive ever gotten! I opted for a 50 min The Stretch massage with deep tissue enhancement. I had the pleasure of having Ruth as my therapist and she was AMAZING! Shes got the right balance between a relaxing soft touch and deep tension release. Ive honestly never experienced a DEEP tissue massage like this one. Im hooked! I got a membership and cant wait to see my girl again next month!

I have been seeing Brittany Webb here for weekly massages for almost a year. She is INCREDIBLE - the most intuitive massage therapist I’ve ever had. My chronic pain has all but vanished working with her. The experience at this facility is so nice also - the staff is all so accommodating and welcoming, and the environment is super serene. Highly recommend trying this place!!

BEST massage I have received in a while! I booked The NOW with scalp renewal and herbal heat therapy and it was the most relaxing combination ever! The therapist Ruth was super attentive to my needs and addressed all my concerns.

Ive had better massages elsewhere for less than what they charged. I didnt think she was done, because I kept waiting for that wow, thats good feeling. She said ok, you can get dressed and Ill meet you outside. I asked the masseuse, are we done? Lol. And she said yes. I also did not appreciate the front desk asking me in front of other customers, so how much gratuity would you like to give? I thought that was a bit inappropriate. So I felt obligated to tip even though I was not satisfied with my massage. Anyway, Im going to give them another chance. I made an appointment with a different masseuse. Stay tuned!

Ruth was truly amazing. I am disabled, and she did a wonderful job of figuring out how my disability was affecting the rest of my body. She targeted the muscle groups that were most challenging and gently worked the tension and stress out. My body moves more easily, and I feel stronger and more human, honestly. It was wonderful. I truly had the most amazing experience, and I cannot wait to see Ruth again.

The now is such a cool atmosphere! I loved my massage massage with Natalie! I booked The Now Signature with added deep tissue and calm balm. I had trouble getting up, I was so relaxed I just wanted to fall asleep! The Now is so different than any other massage spa Ive been to in the area, I will be back!

Ive had nothing but great experiences at The Now boutique, perfect spot in this area if you are looking for relaxation from your daily routine. Ive seen Phyllis and Tim multiple times and highly recommend both therapists. The Stretch and The Now massages with deep tissue and guasha are my favorites. This review is for the HEALING massage. I cant speak for the others! I had a prenatal massage with Nicole - it was the BEST massage Ive ever had.(And this is after Ive been massage hopping around Loudon County for the last few months).Highlights:- Room: Modern ambiance that made me feel like I was on a retreat. In the middle of One Loudon! No medical office looking space like my usual. Very peaceful and quiet. Low lighting as well made me feel at ease. Curtains on the doors dont matter-still VERY private feeling in case youre wondering!- Actual Massage: I got the healing massage with prenatal and scalp treatment. Nicole did PERFECT using the exact right amount of pressure I particularly like esp while pregnant. It didnt hurt, but it wasnt feather light either. Just felt like a great rub down that got out some kinks. She put me at so much ease, I fell asleep for a few minutes. For someone with severe anxiety and pregnancy aches, thats a miracle!-Membership: Typical memberships have a fee to join and cancel, this one doesnt. Ive never seriously considered joining a monthly massage membership until now.Constructive Feedback:- Massage: Not at all meant to be criticisms but definitely would help-Id only say to have a signature finishing move for each massage so its always known when the massage is over. Maybe even a deep inhale or something. Also have your masseuses not be afraid to move people how they need to be moved. I dont pick up on hints lol.- Make sure everyone knows to be quiet going into the massage area. Slightly distracting when people would first pop in and then realize they should be quiet.- Dont have the heated bed/tables as automatic. Maybe ask customer beforehand? I usually would not have minded but I run hot esp during pregnancy so I had to ask to turn it off :)- Have merchandise! I would have loved to purchase things afterwards :) Bracelets, hair ties, healing rocks, etc.

This was the worst massage I’ve ever had! But the bad review is about the terrible customer service from the general manager! She was extremely rude and unhelpful. She completely disregarded the fact that I didn’t receive the massage I paid for. Instead of trying to make the situation right, she said she would give me a $10 credit for the deep tissue. That’s it! She said that if I didn’t like my massage, I should’ve stopped the massage therapist in the middle of the massage and walked out! So heads up, if you’re unhappy with the massage, she recommends stopping, getting up and changing, and walking out! I’ve never had such terrible customer service! If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, don’t go here! I would’ve never written this review if the general manager and supervisor were more helpful and understanding. Unfortunately they don’t care about their customers. You’re better off going to a Massage Envy or a Hand and Stone Massage! And they have better customer service!

I really wanted to love this place given that I’m a fan of massages. But, the membership plan is highly inflexible and lacks communication with respect to how many credits are left and when they expire. I ended up losing several massages due to them expiring with no communication from The Now that this was happening. Tried to resolve over the phone, but never received a call back.

Best massages EVER. Ive been using Massage Envy for the past year and (somewhat reluctantly) tried the NOW after some encouragement from a friend. I do not regret the change. The massage therapists I have had so far (Andrei and Shawn) have been very professional, respond to my needs, firm or gentle as needed, and give great post-massage advice (learned a new stretch!). I feel rejuvenated and will be returning. Thank you!

This was my first massage ever and what an incredible experience. Rachel was very helpful explaining the options I could choose from. I ended up getting the Now massage with the Calm Balm enhancement and Shawn did a fantastic job, Ill definitely be back for another. I felt very safe as I saw The Now staff taking all the necessary COVID sanitation precautions.

Registered online for a woman masseuse and confirmed the day before the appointment. I showed up and no Masseuses were available, only a masseur (which is a man massage therapist). Was charged $55 due to canceling when I arrived at my appointed time because they did not provide what I requested. Never again.Also, vendor stated they would contact me in response to my review I left in the above paragraph (see the screenshot regarding what the vendor stated). They never contacted me as they claim they would. Their response is a lie only to reduce the impact from my review. If they had time to respond to my review, then they had time to contact me. Do not trust.

I’ve been going to here for a couple years now with The Now 80 monthly plan and I love it! Andrei is a great massage therapist and I always leave feeling refreshed!

Nicole is magical. She is some sort of wizard when it comes to massages. I don’t know how she does it but she is amazing. The check in and check out process is always easy and everyone is always super friendly.

I was so excited to finally get the chance to visit the Now. It was like being on vacation. The space has such a calming vibe. Kaye my therapist was on it. She new exactly where I needed the work. I will be back.

Had the membership for several months for 90 minute monthly massages. It was definitely affordable for the One Loudoun area which was what attracted me, but ended up canceling it as the quality was poor overall- not a spa-like experience and management seems rude and unwelcoming.

I was apart of the NOW membership program and asked fo cancel it. Today there was a State wide tornado watch, it was so bad that my younger sister’s school contacted my parents to pick her up because it was really bad. I called the NOW telling them it is unsafe for me to drive. They told me that according to their policy I will still be charged for half my service because they still need to pay the therapist. I understand the reasoning, but for a State tornado watch I feel like a company should care about their clients and safety and therapist safety they should be flexible. Since the NOW was worried about $45 they lost a loyal customer and referrals

The NOW has it all. Beautiful décor, impeccably clean rooms, online booking, excellent list of services and enhancements. My The NOW massage by Lisa was terrific. I even bought a gift card for my wife. I cant wait to go back here!!!

I had the opportunity to experience The NOW at their grand opening. I had a 50 minute Swedish Massage. My massuse Xing Xing was great! She knew right away where I carry my stress and helped take it away. She recommended I add deep tissue in that area next visit. I plan to do just that. The location is easy to access, and making an appointment was easy. The staff seems friendly and had a few suggestions for me. They appeared to have all the bases covered for cleaning and keeping everything compliant. I will be back soon for that deep tissue massage.

Great deep tissue session with Ruth. For weeks I had a tightness/ pain in my upper shoulder and neck area. Ruth managed to get in there and now I’m able to turn my head with no issues. I’ll be back soon for maintenance!

This place really needs to not hiring sketchy teenagers to massage women. Apparently, you will get a “happy ending” to the massage whether requested or not.

How nice and cost affirdable. And very calming. Also their massage beds are so warm, comfy and heated.

Had a great experience at Now boutique, perfect spot in this area if you are looking for relaxation and rejuvenation. Ive seen Dulce for deep tissue massage and it felt amazing. Highly recommend.

Clean set up and a fantastic atmosphere. I love the decor and the vibes created. I have gone back multiple times and have not had a bad experience with any of the therapists.

Had send my wife as her birthday gift, she was very disappointed. The staff seem to be unenthusiastic, the service was disappointing, everything seem to be done for bare minimum. Will definitely not visit ever again

I do not recommend this place. I’ve given themmultiple chances, even going as far as specifically saying how I wanted my problem areas worked on and still did not get it! It wasn’t a massage, it was having massage oil rubbed on my body. Disappointed is an understatement!

Massage was okay, felt like a well decorated massage place, but with little privacy as the rooms are just curtains and massage was average for the prices.
