The service staff was really attentive!I normally don’t like the “instagram drinks” howeverrrr the one I ordered was pretty strong! It was called “Oso” which means bear in Spanish- it tasted like a tropical rum drink, very refreshing!We also tried La Diabla which had a nice flavor- and the Passionfruit margarita was lovely! They also make a really good Long Island Ice Tea! $15 for a solid drink! Big fan!Personal favorite were the garlic wings! Sooooo goood! I’d absolutely come back for these! We tried the nachos and mozzarella sticks also really good! The only thing they fell short on was the Filet Mignon which I was surprised to see on the menu if I’m being honest- but the manager was quick to reconcile that so it was greatly appreciative!The ambiance is like a club scene- they just revamped their menu so I’d definitely give them a shot!The decor inside is WIIIIILD & I’m here for it! Haha

Went to this place for happy hour with my beastie for drinks and apps. The place is gorgeous with many picture opps. The staff was extremely attentive. Juan the manger made sure we had the very best experience he took care of us the from the moment we walked until we left. Angela our server was fantastic as well. All in all I would recommend this place. Especially when the brunch parties begin

Red District is a hip Latino-forward lounge and restaurant. The food is delicious and thoughtfully curated and the DJ draws a young dance crowd.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while. My boyfriend and I finally came, our waitress, Angie was very attentive the atmosphere is restaurant meets lounge with an urban feeling to it. I’d recommend the sweet chili wings. We really enjoyed those.

This place could have really been a vibe. But the security staff is not professional and the system they are running to get to the up stairs makes no sense. The story is way to long but I won’t go back.You have go outside to go to the upstairs when they have a door that leads to the upstairs from the lounge. Had people go out into the rain. I was celebrating my Best Friend birthday so I dealt with it but never will I go back.Security need better training. They were letting people use that door and I saw that but you telling others no. I can assure you that problems start like that. Be consistent.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night with my friends. The security was extremely racist. The way he treated the white Latinas was definitely different than how my friends and I were treated. We left and went to another establishment to spend our money. The best thing they have going for them is the outside decor.

Came in here during happy hour and then I couldn’t leave. I tried almost every cocktail in the menu because why not, the Halloween vibe and music in this place it’s so LITT and of course can’t forget the amazing service. S/O to Salome. Def coming back soon for more drinks and some wings. 10/10

SO MUCH FALSE ADVERTISING!!My friends and I went there last night (Saturday 5/18) to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We got there around 10:30pm. As soon as we walked up, the security outside immediately said “there isn’t really anything going on right now so I think you should leave and come back later” he told us the music would start around 11:30pm. My friends and I were going for some music, sure, but mainly for their food and cocktails, but we were put off by him basically turn us away and asked where we should go. He gave some recommendations (🚩generally just terrible business to literally turn people away and send them somewhere else) and we ate at one spot and spent time getting drinks at a different spot to kill time.🚩By the time we got back to Red District, it was close to 1am. Their Instagram says no cover, but we got in through the door and each had to pay $10 to get in.🚩The stairs leading upstairs looks like all the pics they’ve posted, but once we got upstairs to the bar, it looked absolutely nothing like the place they post online. It was smaller. There were none of the cool neon signs anywhere. The wall decorations re COMPLETELY different. There aren’t even the TV’s around the room that you see.🚩We looked past that because we were excited for their cocktail. However, we got to the bar, asked for the menu, and was told “we don’t do cocktails. The most I can do is a Margarita and simple mixed drinks”. What??? Most of your posts are about the creative cocktails!The three of us literally went on Google to search and make sure we didn’t somehow end up at the wrong spot or to see if they have various locations. This is indeed the only location and we felt completely punked.At this point, idk where the actual Red District is, because where we went shares the same address, but sure as hell isn’t the place they advertise on IG 🤷🏾‍♀️

I have messaged and called this place. I havent gotten any response. So I decided to go last Tuesday around 5 the place was closed. Yet online it says its open. Well long story short. The people who work and live around said the place is no longer opened. This was a waste of a trip and Instagram ads have it being misleading. What a disappointment.

The cozy atmosphere and the excellent quality of the food make it a prominent place to enjoy both a relaxed night with friends and a memorable meal as a couple. The variety on the menu and the personalized attention from Karellys make each visit a unique and rewarding experience. Without a doubt, its a place I always want to go back to.

Diana and Jose treated me so well, customer service was amazing always attentive to my table definitely recommend and will be back!

If I can give 0 stars I would. Security in the front thinks they’re top flight security guards of Steinway — very rude security guards, makes you feel very uncomfortable as soon as you walk in. Honestly if you’re not a Latina they will give you the vibes that you’re not really welcomed. The manager of the security is also a colorist - he escalated the situation. If your brown skin or darker I would steer away from this location. I can’t believe we was about to spend money here - God saved us from coming into this establishment.

Ive been in this industry for over 20 years. Ive got to say this has been the worse experience Ive ever endured. They try seating us in area that did not accomdate a party of 15. I had to literally kick into work mode, and start assisting with our seating cause the staff was clearly lost. After taking my advice about the seating. Our server did not speak English, while taking our orders. Half of our table only spoke English. Server left our drinks sitting for 11 plus minutes at the bar . We literally sat there and counted the minutes.Working in the hospitality business, I was very unsatisfied as half of my party was of 15 guest. The server told my friend that her nachos had no meat. Which had meat and she was vegan. She waited an hour for nachos with NO MEAT! Our La Diablo drinks were absolutely the worst. No liqour made of mostly puree. We requested separate bills server stated she didnt know how to do so. Although I offered to assist, she declined and forced us to figure it out amongst eachother. My husband and I had to walk to the bar and serve ourselves on 4 separate occasions. Because the server kept walking past our drinks. Chicken was awful, the breading was thick and gewwy. Drinks were awful, service was awful. Worse experience ever. My husband even made the statement its sad that youre literally working and helping the server instead of enjoying the experience. Honestly Ive opened several restaurants and this restaurant is in need of immediate HELP ! IF YOU NEED HELP PLEASE REACH OUT. ID GLADLY WORK FOR YOUR ESTABLISHMENT FOR THE RIGHT PAY AND BRING STRUCTURE AND EFFICIENCY TO YOUR COMPANY.

It was my bestie bday we asked 2 different waitress to do the birthday song with desert 4 her and we waited over an hour and a half and just decided to leave. I asked for BBQ sauce and it never shower up. The staff isnt that accomidating and drag there feetSalmon was taste tho

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there’s not much items to choose from on the menu, But they’re just now reopening so I understand. But let me tell you the drinks were STRONG but delicious! I wanted to try all of the drinks because they dress them up so pretty. Very good presentation. First time coming to this club I’m from Connecticut came to party for my sister birthday the owner came and said she had sweat pants and they was leggings even the female security said they was not sweatpants the security was really rude they don’t know how to search had weapons from the poor searching that they do it was not sets to sit don’t they wanted 400 for one bottle the bottles girls just come walking through with candles burning on top of people head don’t even say excuse me the bartender made the drinks so weak you couldn’t taste no liquor all them top flight security in there doing nothing this place need to be shut down I will never come here again first and last time….

I celebrated my birthday here & the experience from the moment I called was amazing! I called to make a reservation for 10 guests that later became 13 guests. I had the pleasure to speak with the manager Juan, who was so pleasant & had great hospitality! Juan answered right away every time I had any questions. The day of we had our table reserved & were taken great care of. Diana was our waitress, she was patient & very kind to everyone. They made me feel super special with all the birthday love & shout outs.The drinks are super cute & tasty! (Love the names of the drinks lol) The food was delicious! The music was on point & I like that they played different genres of music. This is a dope spot with sultry vibes & Im here for ittttttt!!! We will definitely be coming back soon!

This is by far the best place in Astoria, Queens. Excellent food and great ambient. There are two floors with bars and different djs. Djs are brutal and the cocktails very original. There are literally a hundred spots to take pictures and there is a public parking lot right across the street from the place and its free on Sundays and after 10pm every other day!!!

Very accommodating. I had the pleasure of meeting the GM (Juan), Angie, & Ricardo. They were very attentive, professional, and took the time to cater to your needs. Their establishment was aesthetically pleasing and offered a unique niche where other establishments cannot match. I highly recommend this location if youre are looking for an excellent time.

At first It was freezing and we got there apparently the heater broke , but it got better after so many drinks 🔥😜the dj was ok,but he kept repeating the same music and did not played any bachata,merengue or salsa ..around 12 am is Standing up ..they remove the chairs and leave some tables in the middle ,but then it got too crowded and I guess ppl that had reservations gets a table bcus they were putting more tables as ppl go in which is bad bcus is taking away the space for ppl that are actually enjoying and dancing 🙋🏻‍♀️ to put A-holes behind that kills the vibe .We end up leaving early ..that was my first time going there and my last ..that spot is not for fun ppl like me 🍾💃🏻

The gratuity limit is insane. 20% on top if you go with just ONE more person. We were a large party of 6, which I would understand, but dam if anybody were to sit with another person in the spot, then automatically they get with a 20% increase.

But the food was terrible, and it gave me and friend a bad stomach ache, I had the burria tacos and she has the nachos and wings. I don’t know what was in the food but we gelt like we got food poisoning as soon as we walked out the spot. We both got the La Diabla drink and It was absolutely terrible. They over charge and the food and drinks taste terrible. They need do do better.

I came here because of the instagram reel I seen. It looked so lit and when I came it was very much dead. People need to come in! Halloween decor was up, the waiter and waitress were nice, drinks were strong, the music was great! This place is a gem!! Happy hour is 4pm-7pm but stay alil longer!! One thing I must say is to add Hookah it’ll be packed.

Really cool spot, went on a Tuesday and had some tacos for taco Tuesday, the tacos were amazing, we had the birria, chicken and steak tacos. Cocktails were also very nice. They play Latin music predominantly and gets abit more vibey layer in the evening. Suspect on Friday or weekend there will be dancing.Shisha is also available here!

I am not one to put down someone business but upon arrival I experienced bad service. I was asked if I made a reservation and I told the host no. . . . . .she proceeded to give me attitude. She came back to the table we found and were sitting at and said we couldnt just order food we had to do bottles, which was fine. Bottles girls were walking around going to every other table and never came to service us. We were there for an hour and no one ever came to take our order for bottles or food. When the host came back to check on us she gave attitude and said again we had to get bottles. She asked do we need a server. . . .but my thing is why do we have to beg for service. Obviously, we need a server, we cant go make the food and get our own drinks.......this is somewhere I would never go back to.

We were spoken to rudely by staff (both the bottle girls and what seemed to be the clubs reservation person ..Spanish lady with short blonde hair) for a small misunderstanding that was caused by the bartender. I understand the night life ain’t easy but I’ve dealt with the same reservation lady before long ago at fusion lounge and she is the most brash, uncouth woman Ive ever met. Take more initiative on better customer service in this new establishment and hiring professionals. So that you don’t morph into just a trash spot on Steinway that doesn’t last more than a couple of years, like other spots.

Good spot in Astoria for drinks. Their vibe is risqué and their food is solid. Call in advance to get private lounge areas if youre coming as a big group. They have 2 floors so dont need to worry about space. The workers are friendly and the service is great. Would recommend the NY Pina Colada

Orange bob lightskin girl Staff in the front are clueless and rude. Same with the Bouncers they are thieves as well, female bouncer made me feel weird for having pads in my bag. And instead of checking me she was worried about where my smoke was ? It’s legal soooo ? Trying so hard to get money from us and we hadn’t even walked in yet. And the hookah is complete trash. Waste of 700$

The place is nice, but the drinks are overpriced, two drinks for $50 and the service could’ve been better, server came to our table while we were taking pictures, we didn’t stop taking pictures to hint that she could just come back when we were done, but seems like she didn’t get the hint and proceeded to interrupt us to push us to buy food. Mind you there was only 2 tables in the whole place.They include gratuity.

My very 1st and last time ever coming here NEVER AGAIN the manager was so nasty and rude I have a recording of the way she spoke to me and my friend when we came in the lounge it was empty someone sat us down manager said in order for us to sit there we had to get a bottle so we got a bottle then as it got crowded she told us it’s a minimum of 4 bottles I tell her well you said jus buy a bottle she tells me she’s not speaking to me and proceeded talking to my friend then as we sat taking videos of us she had security tell us we had to put our phones away but everyone had there phones out because we wouldn’t buy more bottles (just me and my friend) and wanted to take pictures she had security escort us out idk if it was because we’re black but the other people in vip didn’t have any bottles jus hookah and food we had hookah food and the bottle she made us buy smh worse place ever she needs to be fired

The worst place I have visited in Astoria, first they search you at the door, worse than at the airport, the girl touches your whole body, how unpleasant... and yet you order drinks that they charge very expensively and they charge you the tip, its not if you you want or if it depends on the service they give you, it is obligatory and they still charge you a fee of I dont know what in addition to the fatal tip!! And the music was so loud that it was overwhelming, you didnt enjoy it at all, neither my friends nor I came back, if there were zero stars it would be a lot. Dont go Guacala
