The place is amazing it felt like family , they made me comfortable and I didn’t have to wait for anything . 10/10 I’ll recommend them to anyone . The bar manager Shawn was the best part because he vibes with us and made sure we were fine . The vip experience is everything !!! Shouts out to FiveO

So I ordered a drink and asked for a cup of ice water.the bartender told me I could only have a cup of ice water if the run out of bottles of water which I could purchase. But I thought a bar wasnt allow to refuse alcohol consuming patrons WATER??. Condescendingly said it at that. But I think thats against the law. How do she know I didnt spend my last on the drink and the $20 cover charge?? Probably wont be going back there🙄🫤😮‍💨

I visited from out of town and had a great time! The music and vibe was amazing and I cant wait to go back. The location is in a rough part of town but that didnt bother me. Just FYI

Highly recommend!!! I’ve been going here for years and never had an issue. When you go to the bar ask for Thomas. He’s the best bartender they have, he’ll even learn your drink! Lol He has excellent customer service, I also like that he will cut people off before they have to much to drink.

We came just to have fun on a Sunday night. It was pretty packed for a Sunday night, and lots of people were dancing and vibing. There was a nice mix of afrobeats, Caribbean, and hip-hop music throughout the night. Make sure you get Adi as your server. She was very sweet and got us everything we needed throughout the night. I will be coming back again.

This place needs new djs, new management new something! Worst djs ever coming from a Caribbean person! Playing the oldest music ever, nothing new. People want to hear new dancehall, new soca, etc!!!! Talk too much! I’ve been coming here for 4 years and it’s been the same scene everytime! Atlanta barely has Caribbean spots as is! Turn the AC up! Always disappointing. Bring some Trinidadian DJS or a whole new crew!

Trash service from the bartenders. Especially from the overweight white dude. Five0 makes this club loose A LOT OF MONEY because he brings his feelings to work, it’s a lot of times I want to get sections and he wanna over charge me while he give his friends free vip sections or cheap asf…. I always spend over $900 in that club EVERY TIME WE GO… on the other hand…. Mesha always get us right, ever since she got hired it’s been nothing but amazing customer service… she always gets me my white rum even when they say they don’t have any… she always finds it for me, she always take good care of me and my boys. Will definitely recommend getting Mesha as your server whenever u go to peacock

My friend Ashley always speak highly about your club and this one particulate server Nyce. I came Friday 10/20 and booked a section. I made sure to look for Ms. Nyce. The most thing I love about her is how bubbly, estatic and hustler she is. She took care of my whole party. Our hookah was not pulling and she not once catch an attitude to help us out l. She brought our hookah back with no problem. She came to check up on us and gave us a fun time. For my first experience I am happy she was there and she was my server. I have been here numerous times. This has been here in Atlanta for a long time and is still one of the best Caribbean clubs downtown. I was able to experience VIP this past Saturday we had hookah, bottle, service, and bottle girls. I feel very well taken care of and safe I really enjoyed myself. I recommend getting a VIP section so that you can enjoy the vibe and walk out and dance when you feel like it!

I’m giving this place 5 stars just because of the service. The bartender was a darling and worked quickly and attentively, and there was one server in particular (wish I knew her name) who was so kind to me and knew I was at the bar alone so she kept checking on me and making sure I was okay. I was in a potentially unsafe situation but she was looking out for me and I appreciate that, Absolutely loved her vibe! The womens’ bathroom was also exceptional as there’s a lady in there who has a beautiful set up of free items for the girls (sanitary products, perfume etc) and also some inexpensive snacks you can purchase from her business. That was my first time seeing that and I really loved it and her positive energy. Would come back again for sure.

Went here Saturday night. Would not visit again or recommend to anybody. The female security was rude and ratchet. She was eating when walked up, licked her fingers and proceeded to pat us down putting whatever was on her hands on our clothes. It was $20 to get in. Hookah was $47 and the shiesty waitress wouldnt even bring my change i had to go find her. DJ was ok. Didn’t read the crowd well. Disappointed by this club and the fact it was called an Atlanta gem.

Went last night. Beyond horrible experience. They wouldnt allow us to look inside the club before paying the $20 cover. When we got in it was dead, a fair amount of people but everyone was just standing around. We went to the bar. My sister had a vodka oj and I ordered a double peach ciroc and sprite. I paid $22 for my one drink. The drinks were a terrible waste of money. I know the bartender didnt even put one full shot in either of our drinks. We left immediately. A waste of money $42 to be exact.

This is a pretty historical spot in Atlanta. It always pretty consistent. An authentic Caribbean vibe but not pretentious. They are mostly cash only so be sure to bring cash for entry. The bathrooms are definitely atrocious which is on par with most spots in Atlanta. I would still go back.

Went to royal peacock for the first time on Sunday part of the club wasnt open and a security guard was man handling a young female, he drag her across the whole club and out the door. Me and my people will never step front in your club no more.

I desperately needed to go to a reggae club since moving from New York to Atlanta. I Google searched and saw the reviews for this one. I decided to take a chance, invited my homegirl out. We got in before 11 and at first it was just people standing around looking at each other so we thought it was wack at first. But after a few hours and more people came that joint started jumping! We ended up having a blast! Everyone was dancing, thats the vibe we wanted. I will totally come back.

I visited this place and they have the worst customer service. Im a business owner and I understand you have to make money but they had us standing outside for an hour in 65 degree weather until someone paid $450 for a section that they dont have and an additional $40 for admission for one bottle. They need to do better if they want to stay in business. Even their regulars was upset at this brand new experience.

Before and after clubbing especially since its going to be one of the few open late and its also close to the highway

Always heard about this place and never been until just recently. The moment i walked in there were like 3 girls up front all twerking. Of course they were probably like 21 on the dot but it was amazing. Everyone is so high in there that its super chill.. Drinks aint gonna buss ya over the head either. I will be going back and finding my future ex wife.

Chill place, free entry with the text, fairly priced drinks. What I enjoyed most was that it’s 420 friendly, my friend and I spend the night just dancing on the side getting high then men weren’t bugging us and the ones that wanted to grind we kindly declined with no fussing or rudeness. Guess everyone was chill from smoking and just vibing to the reggae. Will definitely go back. If you’re looking for an upscale place this is not it.

One of the best reggae clubs in the city the only complaint that I have with this club is that it can get hot, but other than that its well worth it. Great music, large crowds, good drinks... Billiards here. Ladies leave your heels at home in exchange for a night to remember☺🌴

This place is absolutely terrible. The bartenders will ignore you and act like they do not remember what they said to you. NEVER COME HERE if you want good service. You will not receive it. Fire your staff. The only polite person was the bottle girl who obviously knew the bartenders weren’t worth an ounce of s***. Don’t even waste your time or money.

Good music. I came to a party hosted by 107.9 on a Sunday night . This is definitely a hood spot but such a great time . Especially if you don’t have to work on Monday or you worked all FRI/SAT and missed all the fun. This place should make up for it. Ladies you will need to wash your hair after a trip here .

My friend was harassed several times to compete in the quote un quote twerk contest. She kept saying no but they insisted and kept begging. She and 2 other dancers finally agreed. They danced for several songs and people gave money personally including myself. After the competition they were informed that it wasn’t enough competitors and that no one won. However they never announced that they needed more dancers in order for it to be a contest. After the contest the dancers was upset and I was also because I gave money to my friend and they kept it. After speaking with the manager he still refused to give me my personal tip that I gave to my friend. Don’t compete in the twerk off if you don’t want to be used for footage or give money personally to the dancers. It is a scam!

I love this place I went yesterday and it was my first time in Atlanta. Good vibes , people are respectful and the DJ was on point with everything. He was putting all types of music he had the place 🔥🔥 I really recommend this place . And drinks are good price.

Very bad service & low class people. I felt like something bad could happen at any moment. The female bartenders have MAJOR attitude issues & are slow. Had to get a man to order my drink since they only seem to pay attention to men.The music was good, but a lot of people just stood around staring or smoking weed. A big female saw her dude staring at me & started acting up so we left. We have jobs & too much self respect to be fighting ratchet females in a club...and thats all you need to know about the service and people at the Royal Peacock. Trash.

Iconic landmark nightclub that has been around since the 1930’s (Top Hat). I spent much of my 20s (now 20 years ago) in Peacock. Always great music and vibes. Glad to know its historic legacy and future are in the very capable hands of a very old friend.

Place is pretty cool but the night we went (Sunday) the DJ was so terrible we had to bounce after one drink. How did it become acceptable for DJs to just talk instead of playing music you can dance to? Clubs, please stop letting this become the norm. If we wanted to hear some dude talking we could go to church. We go out to dance. Shut up and play some music.

Me and my sisters literally had the time of our lives here last summer. Friendly people, played a mixed of dancehall and hip-hop music and was LIT off the drinks. I recommend for a Saturday night!

This is a pretty cool location and it stays open pretty late. Good music good drink. Only issue is that this venue is NOT worth a $20 cover.

The music was good but the DJ kept talking over it. There was smoking inside and there roaches outside. If you want to smoke/hookah, and not really dance this is for you. But for someone who wants to dance with a bunch of people, this isn’t the ace to go.

The history behind this club is amazing! I wish i could give 5 stars for that alone. Im West Indian and was looking forward to some dancehall, soca,roots and just feeling that vibe but instead i got limited selections of reggae and was bombarded by the same radio rubbish that plays day in and day out. The same mind numbing low vibration music. The crowd responded because most of them werent West Indians. The good part is it was free the bad part this is my second time going and unfortunately i wont be returning again for another disappointing weekend. If you are looking to hear some reggae all night and tick and whine your ass off all night DO NOT come here

When it comes to Jamaican and Caribbean music, theres no better spot than the Royal Peacock! This place has been here forever and gives you that hardcore, authentic reggae party feel. They havent upgraded very much, but the music is good, the drinks are decent and Its relatively inexpensive. Parking can be a challenge being that it is right in the Inner City, but nothing Uber/Lyft cant handle. If you do Drive, lock up your belongings.

This it’s only my second time being here the first time I went on a Friday night I had a blast great vibes no drama just a really laid back place to be but I must say Saturday I went and didn’t have such a great time I was pulled off the dance floor quite a few times by random guys I would say about 5 or 6 maybe more I didn’t know them I didn’t mind at first but then it went a lil to far as to them even pulling me away from my sister when me and her was trying to dance with each other alone despite that I still had a good time but I’m gonna let you know right now Saturdays are thirsty nights and I would go back maybe in a few weeks but other then that the staff it’s respectful and nice and I am speaking of the inside staff only! this past Saturday me and my sister went and was told we were in the wrong line and to go around so we did keep in mind it was very cold out side about 30 degrees or so anyways we were told to wait as we watched the outside security talk to others customers let them in on the side they told us we couldn’t enter then had us wait until about 8 other people go in that was not there before us it was very upsetting I’m guessing they let people they know in before anything which was still wrong we waited for about almost 10 mins to get in as we watched other people get checked in to pass us! also they made us wait the first Friday I went to as well despite that inside staff are nice still
