Spa Walden

We didnt partake in the spa as it is extremely overpriced. Nevertheless, the customer service was impeccable - if I had a business of this type, I would recruit most of their employees. It was very relaxing. Moreover, the mini cheese board, morning muffins, and turn down service were great! The breakfast was very tasty and made with care.My only critiques are: it is a little dated, there was no microwave in the room, and the fitness center is very small. Additionally, it feels very corporate versus the spa resort feel that we were looking for. However, customer service alone is worth the experience.

I really can’t recommend this place more. My husband and I went here after having a really rough go of things. He came for his first message, and they did really well with him. He was lighter tough and I was more deep tissue. We got a couples suite which had a steam shower, water from above and the sides. There was a two person jetted tub (and not like the ones that say they are two person but you are on top of each other.) They also had epsom salts to pour in at your leisure. We enjoyed both before and after our message. They also had some earl grey tea and an instant brewer, which we enjoyed while we sat in the window and watched the snow fall. There was also a warm fireplace with real fire, which given how common it is to see a screen nowadays, that was a treat. We had the message and scrub package. The experience and the masseuses were awesome, and our skin was so soft. We also got complimentary mimosas, which were very refreshing. We really had no desire to leave. It was a great getaway for two.

The best couple getaway in Ohio!!! We got pampered from the my massage therapist, Derrick, then such a cozy and spacious suite at Walden Inn. Manager Joanne Porter, took care of us with a welcome cheese plater and a red wine to cap the night! Btw, food was also good at the Walden country club. We had a free breakfast which was included in our accomodation, and our servers, Abby and Angie provided great service! Kudos to the entire management, this place is a hidden gem in Ohio!!!

I had the most life changing facial of my life here recently. My husband and I love the spa at the Walden and historically got massages (which are always amazing!!). I am so glad we stepped outside our norm. I had Nikki, and he had Donna. Both are incredible! I have struggled with adult hormonal acne for years and have gotten regular facials to try to help them. At the end of my facial, my skin has NEVER looked or felt better. I was in shock. Nikki spent time to study my skin, listened to my concerns about pore clogging ingredients and just was all around a facial angel. As a bonus, the facials there include neck, face, hand and shoulder massage. Ill be back for sure and cant wait for my next experience with Nikki.

You know how anytime you read reviews or get recommendations you never know if it’s going to live up to your expectations? Spa Walden deserves more than 5 stars. From the customer service to beautiful grounds to the personal suite with a jacuzzi, steam room, bathroom, shower, and massage table. Everything was beyond what I expected. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. Donna and Derrick were both phenomenal with deep tissue massages. My best friend had the 90 minute massage and scrub and her skin felt like a baby. We all felt so pampered. There was chocolate, tea, plenty of water, and other amenities (hair dryer, toiletries including razor and shaving cream). A complimentary beverage is also provided at the start of service to promote the ultimate relaxation experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a special treat for a wedding, bachelorette, anniversary, or birthday. Best spa in Ohio! I’ve had a lot of experiences and this was the most comprehensive I’ve seen.The only concerns I had was it was difficult to reach the spa. But if you left a voicemail, they always got back to you.The other suggestion I have is to update how to get there on Google maps. I drove past it. You have to turn when you see signs for the inn and then turn right. All the way at the end is the spa.Towels, socks, and robes are provided. There is a phone in the room so you can ask questions. They also call you 5 minutes before your therapist comes into the room.100/10 recommend.

Everything was beautiful. Just had several issues trying to book appointment and stay and then issue with charges at check out.One thing I will say is staff during stay were very kind and always available.

Andrew is absolutely the best masseuse I have ever encountered. The space is always so inviting, very tranquil, and I feel so refreshed after such an experience.

Beautiful spa. Very nice decor, friendly and very helpful staff. Booked half day spa.Started with mimosas in our room on arrival and had a shared room with a god friend which had a jacuzzi bath and steam shower followed by 1hr facial, 1hr massage and 1 hr pedicure ( I chose 2 hr massage and no pedicure) then followed by fruit, cheese and crackers all brought to our room. No rush to get out of the room. You can also stay over for the night. Cost approx $600 each. Well worth it. Feels very upmarket and therapists were excellent. Highly recommend it 😊

It was an absolute dream! The front desk was warm and inviting. They offered to carry my bags (2) to the room. They helped light the fireplace and car service to and from the pool. I’m already planning two more staycations there.

The Inn at Walden was an amazing experience. Me and my wife stayed for two nights. The room itself is beautiful and very relaxing. The rooms have a comfortable living space, a king size bed, and a small outdoor space. The bathroom is a fantastic space with a stand up shower with a rainfall shower head, a large jacuzzi bathtub, carpeted floor, and a small garden.The staff was incredible and very attentive. If you are planning on dining at any of the Walden restaurants or visiting the pool, tennis courts, or golf course, the staff will shuttle you there.

Best stay I’ve ever had at an Inn and Spa! Every staff member I came in contact with was extremely nice and helpful. Our room was impeccably clean and one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve stayed in. The bed was so comfortable and fluffy and our jacuzzi was so relaxing and nice.My masseuse, Jeff, was so talented and left me feeling like a million bucks. The before and after time in my spa suite made me feel like a celebrity. I was so relaxed and at ease.I wish I could rate The Walden more stars than 5! I will definitely be returning and would recommend it to anyone I know!

Facial with Madison and massage with Nikki were both glorious. The spa suite is so relaxing and this was exactly what I needed for a reset and day of pampering. Spa Walden is consistently amazing this is my 5th trip and I have done solo and with my husband. This is a safe place for a solo trip. Let Walden Inn and Spa Walden handle all the details it’s magical. They excel at providing top notch hospitality.

I visited the inn and spa for a special occasion. On our last day I received a manicure and pedicure, and the manicure started chipping within a couple days. I was told this type of polish was the same as gel but it’s not, it was just regular old polish. The work itself was good but for the price I expected better quality. Customer service has been unwilling to do anything other than provide a partial spa credit, despite the fact that I said I do not live nearby. I’m disappointed because we enjoyed our experience otherwise, but after this issue we will not be returning.

Had a wonderful body scrub! Krystal was very attentive and did a great job. Very professional atmosphere. Wish they would redo the rooms as a bit outdated. Overall wonderful place to relax.

Very nice and relaxing. The spa was wonderful and romantic for two. Id recommend this to anyone who needed a little getaway. The breakfast from the cafe was very good as well (eggs Benedict). The only thing is the room was very warm and you couldnt really turn down the thermostat. Luckily the sliding door in the room opens so that made up for that. All in all a wonderful stay, and we will be back.

We had a wonderful dinner that was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We were extremely satisfied our expectations were met and then some. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. One of us had the scallops, the duck, the fillet and I had the seafood gratinee which was absolutely wonderful. It was very special evening the barn was beautifully decorated for Christmas the server Was very attentive. We would certainly go back if given the opportunity thank you for a delightful evening.

I loved every second of this massage!! I got the relaxation massage with a facial you get your own private suite to yourself with a tub, and steam shower!! You get to relax before your whole services!! I went with my boss and my coworker for boss day!! If you haven’t been here!! Definitely something you need to do!!!

Pure BlissI have had the pleasure to visit Spa Walden on several occasions and they never disappoint! The staff go over and above to make sure your visit is everything it should be at a 5 star spa! The facility is clean and equipped with every amenity you could need. I highly recommend booking several services in a suite with either your significant other or a friend. I did with a friend and we had an absolute fantastic day! Im thinking I need to book another one ASAP!

Service today was very annoying. Booked a massage long time ago with my friend. Their system put it as a couples massage. I complained and all the staff kept saying was it was booked that way. After showing receipts and emails showing it was not in fact booked that way. Extremely irritating and not helpful and basically made me feel like i made the mistake. At least just own up to it.

Our Thanksgiving here at Walden was very special. The staff are so attentive. The food from breakfast thru high tea and the wonderful complimentary cheese plate. Awesome! We had dinner last evening at The Barn. Excellent! Thanksgiving dinner itself at The Club at Walden was spectacular!

A beautiful setting for post-holiday relaxation. Love the suites! A unique experience different than most spas with lockers and common areas. We had our own hot tub and steam room and the massages right in the room. Relaxation before and after enhanced the overall experience. We enjoyed lunch in the fireplace room. Be sure to place your order before your session. Very attentive staff. Highly recommend!

Heaven on earth! Ive been to Waldens Spa twice for massages. Once as a couple and once by myself. Each time, I came away not only feeling stress free and relaxed but also pampered beyond expectations. The rooms are peaceful and well equipped with a steam room, hot tub bath, tea service, bathroom and relaxing benches and the staff are very knowledgeable and skilled in many different types of massage. I highly recommend treating yourself at Walden, youll be delighted with the experience

My husband and I had our first and probably last visit today. We went to celebrate our anniversary. The room was lovely and so relaxing but half of our jets worked in our tub which was what we wanted to use preferably over the steam shower, and we were also never given our glasses of wine. Not worth it for the price.

I’ve been going to Spa Walden for three years and my experiences have always been absolutely amazing! From the jacuzzi tubs, to massages, to hair and nail appointments. Walden has been my go to place for anything. Carly in the salon fixed a butchered coloring I had done (somewhere else!) and always does an amazing job with any new idea I bring to her. I will always recommend Walden for any occasion! Anniversaries, birthdays and so much more! Thank you, Walden family!

The Walden Inn property is one of a kind. From the time you make a reservation until you check out, you are treated kindly like you wish everyone would treat you. The rooms are top class, with a wonderful bed, fireplace, and spa bathroom. The views from your windows, deck or patio make you want to move in. Food is wonderful too. I enjoy relaxing in the lounge with a glass of wine, or watching the horses train in the indoor arena. My favorite place!

Stayed last weekend wonderful spa and services. Rooms to say the least need updated. While spacious they are all mismatched its dizzying.

Ive visited Walden several times and it never fails to impress. The entire staff has most certainly been trained to treat guests as special as Walden itself is. Its a one-of-a-kind place and experience. Highly recommended.

Great staff and service , the spa is fully booked but the best wraps and massages. Check the room types and pick yours carefully! Couple of options to choose from .

Overall we had a lovely experience. The atmosphere and surroundings including the spa suite were fabulous. We had lunch in the lounge. The food was standard. The lounge was pleasant and we had it to ourselves for a short time. The spa suite and services were very nice. The staff were outstanding throughout - from registration to the very end!

I have been here a couple times and always had Madison for facials, she is the best! Highly recommend.

A truly luxurious experience from start to finish

I love this place and its an extraordinarily relaxing and decadent experience. I love the quiet and privacy of the room and the spa services (massage, manicure, pedicure) have been excellent. If I could afford it, Id go more often. I go every couple of years, and usually when someone gives me a gift. Very expensive.

This weekend away was an anniversary gift and quite possibly the worst place I have ever been. The dining options were limited because we needed reservations in advance (which no one mentioned) and the spa was completely booked as well, which no one bothered to mention. So imagine a weekend away to a place that boasts all of these wonderful amenities and none of them are available to guests who paid $977.31 per night. Not only will I be seeking a full refund but I would advise you to stay somewhere else. When I couldnt get ahold of anyone in the spa after multiple attempts, the receptionist told me that me it was right down the hall and I should just walk down. Im not comparing it to the Four Seasons, but a stay at the Holiday Inn would have been better. Dont throw away your money!

Spa Walden is the 5 star bench mark for all other Spas. Yesterday, I had the most spectacular spa treatment from Brenden, who treated me for lower back & hamstring pain. He was such a professional and knew exactly what pressure points to work on. After my treatment, I truly feel I turned the corner in healing my back. I am deeply grateful for all the TLC I received. In addition, the spa is beautiful, serine and relaxing and the staff is incredibly accommodating. Walden Spa is exceptional and I will be sure to return for more amazing treatments.

I have used the services of the salon staff, the massage therapists, the facial experts...mani, pedi...you name it. From the front desk, to every other professional, amazing service and attentiveness. I travel extensively, and this spa? right up there among the best.

I’ve gone to Spa Walden several times with my husband, as well as my friends for various spa treatments. The private spa rooms are amazing as are the services! It’s a very tranquil setting and is an absolute gem right in our own NorthEast Ohio! I’ll return in a heartbeat!

I attended a Lunch and Learn training with Cosmedix Skincare at Spa Walden. It was a phenomenal experience! The owner, Barrie, treated us to a surprise yoga class prior to the class! How gracious and lovely. ❤The spa itself is beautiful. Very tranquil. I love how the treatment rooms are arranged. Jacuzzi tubs and steam showers are in the rooms along with the treatment tables. So, guests stay in one room for their spa services. Your aestheticians and massage therapists come to you.You also have use of the spa tub and/or steam shower for a half hour prior to the service and for another half hour after your service/treatment. In addition, the spa provides dark chocolate, tea & other thoughtful amenities for their guests.It is a beautiful spa that takes advantage of the natural beauty found in Aurora and Hudson. The atmosphere is incredibly serene (which is what you seek in a spa) with well chosen and trained staff. Uncluttered decor which helps one clear the mind. They are accommodating of food allergies. (Thank you!)Depending on where you live, it is a bit of a hike. Please, take the time to visit. It is worth the drive.

As members of Club Walden for many years we have found the entire Walden experience to be truly world class. Though nestled away, it provides first class services throughout all of it’s venues. Be it a lifestyle as we chose or a destination to take in when a respite is needed from a busy life. Club Walden is a fantastic experience with friendly staff and patrons from all over the country.

This is a pamper situation like no other. They take you to your own private spa room with a jacuzzi and a sauna and let you relax for a half hour before and after your massage. This place is pure heaven for the massage oriented person.

My husband and I absolutely love spending time at the Walden Spa. It is a perfect place to step away from it all, relax together for an afternoon, get pampered and refreshed. The atmosphere and staff are amazing!

The best way to treat yourself! The staff have always offered a true five star service experience each and every time I’ve visited. The messages are the best. I love that you get to unwind in a private suite for an hour or so before being pampered further by the masseuse.

While we always enjoy Walden’s couples spa room, our massages were not what we have come to expect over the years... Ice cold hands and when asked for foot massage infusion, feet failed to be touched. Just disappointed and spa director never addressed it. We cancelled our facials for the next day.;(

I had my bachelorette day at the spa today. The atmosphere and rooms were amazing, and everyone was very nice; however, the services were very much subpar. I just cannot justify spending that amount of money for a below average experience.

My girlfriend booked a couples spa suite for a suprise. It was a very relaxing experience that is top notch for the area, monsoon shower and steam sauna in one was incredible. Fresh fruit offered would take this to the next level!

Terrific. Only things I would change is please paint the ceiling AC grills. We have to stare at them. Get rubber wheels on therapists stools. Plastic on stone ruins the mood.
