Japanese Head Massage by Head Spa EN

This is the worst hair spa experience Ive ever had. In fact in my opinion this wont even classify as a hair spa. I went for the deep scalp cleansing by the owner and all she did was use a shampoo once and then kept washing my hair with water over and over. Not more than 2 products were applied during the service and no steam either. If this is what is called a deep scalp cleansing then I have been doing it every two days for all my life!!Its almost like a joke. The owner was highly disinterested and didnt even show my scalp through the device properly after the service.And heres the most hilarious thing. They dont dry your hair at this cost. I dont expect the have a perfectly set hair but at least dry. Am I expected to walk around the Beverly hills rodeo with dripping hair after the service??My hair feels dryer than ever and looks puffed up in a bad way.Save your money and avoid this place at all costs.

My 60 minute treatment was 5 minutes looking at the scalp, 10 minutes washing hair, 10 minutes of a hair steam, 20 minutes of pressure points on the scalp, 10 minutes of gua sha on head and neck. If you’re expecting a more traditional head & neck massage I would look elsewhere. In terms of ambiance - it’s a small room and gets nosy despite the spa music.My experience felt more like a glorified hair wash. My hair did feel soft though and the staff is kind and professional. Definitely not the Japanese head spa that you see on socialMedia.

Not quite what I was expecting, but perhaps this experience is more just for people that have more scalp issues than I do.It was relaxing, but I was expecting more time experiencing the massage. This was more like getting my hair washed (not even dried) with a little bit of a massage…for +$100. My hair does feel pretty soft, but I’d rather get an actual massage from a day spa with a head massage included.Takuma was so genuinely so nice though and gave me some great tips to help with some dry areas I have on my scalp.

Had a very relaxing head spa today by Takuma. He’s very friendly and gave me a great head massage. The whole experience is amazing! He also gave me some tips at the end about my dry scalp.

Her massage lighten the head weight literally. As a face yoga expert I understand the importance of scalp to lift up the face. Not just you feel relaxed but also your face will be lifted. Highly recommend to take before/after pics to see the difference.

Takuma is the nicest person ever! I came here as a treat to myself and read great reviews about Takuma, so I wanted to book him. He was kind, welcoming, and made the experience such a memorable and luxurious one.We started off by examining my scalp with a magnified camera - it was kind of gross to see my scalp up close (LOL), but he pointed out the build up that was accumulating. Yes, the deep clean was much needed hahahaha.I got into the other seat, and the wash/massage began! I opted for the combo (deep scalp clean + head massage) and it was divine. I almost fell asleep during the process. We chatted for a bit in Japanese and it felt like talking to a friend!I got to see my scalp through the magnified camera again after the massage/cleanse, and it was a night and day difference. My head also felt so much lighter! The Japanese products he used in my hair also smelled so good.Takuma is a wonderful person, and took such great care of me! I highly recommend going to him for a relaxing treat-yourself spa day! I wish I could go all the time!---Parking - there is a free 2 hr lot a block away from this plaza. They will send you the location for the parking when you get your confirmation email, which I found super helpful!

Takuma was very kind and knowledgeable. He did such a great job with the scalp cleanse and massage, I was absolutely impressed. I will have to come back and see him again!!

One word: amazing 🤩 This entire experience was out of this world. I fell asleep during the experience because it was so incredibly relaxing! My head feels so clean & weightless. It started & ended with a shoulder & neck massage - with many, many scalp massages in between!

I recently received a deep cleansing treatment with Takuma, and it was lovely! My experience was so relaxing, and Takuma was very informative and kind. I could see a huge difference in my hair after the treatment. I would highly recommend the deep cleansing treatment!

A friend recommended me to Sayuri at Headspa EN for a headspa treatment. I opted for the the full 90 minute scalp treatment and Sayuri was incredible. I told her the issues I was experiencing and she customized my massage. I cant even describe what this treatment did for my mood and relieving my stress and migraine after a very long couple of months. I am so grateful that she offers this amazing service. I will definitely be back next time I am in Pasadena.
