Sunny Massage Spa

For my first time trying this place out it was quite a joy. The woman over the phone was pleasant and helpful with directions and availability on Saturday. Inside was peaceful and relaxing. I did not have to deal with any noise or a long wait. The four hands massage was what I went for and it truly did the trick. It started somewhat invigorating and once the other massage therapist jumped in mellowed it out into an outstanding combination. One had hands that were quite warm and soothing while the other balanced it with perfect pressure and flowed naturally around the table. That hour definitely felt worthy of every dollar of that money and more. Due to time constraints there was not much left for another hour so they allowed me to squeeze in a session of cupping as well. All in all I have found my new massage center!

The massage was fine, which is why this place received more than 2 stars. But there was a large lack of communication on their end, both for the booking of the massage and for the payment method. First off, we asked to book for 3 people, which they stated they had availability for, which was not the case. The spa only has two beds and two rooms, which forced us to stagger our massage times (which we were hoping to avoid). They asked us to pay up front, and the woman running the spa seemed annoyed that we didnt bring cash. She accepted the card but didnt seem to know how to run the card machine, which made us concerned for our card payment. After the card machine was only able to run a portion of the payment, we ended up having to use most of the cash we had on us to cover the rest. At the end of the massage, we left whatever cash we had leftover in our wallets for a tip in order to avoid any further credit card payment confusion. They proceeded to ask for more of tip after we explained that was the only cash we had. We were able to run our card to give them more of a tip, and it was suddenly more accepted to pay with credit card, despite the blatant hesitation to accept a card initially during our visit. The whole payment process left us leaving more stressed than when we walked in, and I have never witnessed anyone asking for more of a tip within a customer service business. For all this confusion and for the price, I believe there are better, cheaper, and more organized massage places out there that can offer an overall better experience.

Very nice staff and owner. I’m picky about massages and often find that a lot of places aren’t able to get deep into the muscles to relieve my muscle soreness from all the strength training and running that I do, but I was really pleased with this place! They are great at relaxing and getting into the muscles. I definitely recommend!

Found a great spa in Brighton! Sunny spa is definitely won’t let you disappoint it. Did the body massage for 60mins and Sophia is amazing, not only she knew exactly where my pain was located, she was such a professional therapist who understood what caused the pain and is prepared to cure it fundamentally rather than just relax the muscle.However, make sure you call ahead of time with yourrequest as the skills of the masseuse may vary.
