First time trying the scalp and head massage and was recommended by someone, I loved it. Very relaxing and attentive in massaging your scalp and head. The place is new, clean and tidy. Making an appointment is a must to be sure to get the service right away. After the session, the hair smells good and feels so soft. They let you see your scalp and hair status on the magnifying video, that is so cool. Friendly staff. Must try even if you are not in the area, make an effort to feel a real bliss.

Best scalp and head spa I have ever had. So I enjoyed their special 90 minute anti dandruff head and scalp treatment that included a soothing scalp massage, exfoliation, shampoo, conditioning and a steam treatment.They also provided a fantastic 30-minute scalp treatment to tackle dandruff, dry scalp, hair loss prevention and frizz control, all topped off with a perfect blow dry. Also, in between arm and neck massage felt incredible.The highlight?Seeing my clean hair follicles after treatment.

I called to make a last minute appointment- Everyone was so welcoming and kind, making this experience a 10/10. The spa was extremely clean, and the gorgeous lights added to the relaxing atmosphere. The scalp massage with herbal steam left my hair and scalp feeling clean and smooth, and the neck and arm massage was a welcome relief as someone who accumulates tension in those areas. My friend and I came from Philly to look at engagement rings and we decided to stop here first. The whole experience was amazing, the scalp massage was perfect and they went above and beyond with the shoulder massage as well. All the employees were professional and nice, the place was super clean. We got the regular steam scalp massages it lasted about 30 minutes and at the end the blow dry your hair (not a blow out) which was fine for us because it was raining outside anyway so our hair wouldn’t have held up if they did blow it out. 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone who lives in New York or to anyone coming up from a surrounding state for a day or weekend trip.

We went with Michelle and Uki and they were both amazing. We did the scalp treatment in the couples room. Pressure was just right. Not too soft, not too hard. Water temperature was perfect and the shampoo smelled amazing. We both loved the steam, and the neck massage. Relaxing, and enjoyable. The place was clean, and the staff was super nice.

This spa is the real deal, legit head spa, and it sure is blissful! I have had a head spa scalp massage back home in Texas. I was on a girl trip visiting NY and wanted to treat myself. This head spa massage was so relaxing and left my scalp feeling squeaky clean. The head spa service included shampoo, conditioning, scalp massage, neck, shoulder, and arm massage. All for $68! A steal in my opinion, so I tipped very well. They do blow your hair dry, but it is NOT a blow out! You’ll walk out with a messy look, not sure if an actual blow out can be requested? Either way I highly recommend. Don’t forget to bring cash, as it is cash only.

Its an amazing place for your scalp. Blissful Heandspace spaI did the 60 minute signature steam herbal treatment. They massaged my head, neck, shoulders and arms while I had an herbal warm mask over my eyes. The massage released me of all tension and headache. They washed my hair so well that the scalp was absolutely clean. The best place . I advise everyone .

I had an amazing experience at this spa! It’s clean & beautifully decorated. I would definitely recommend the person I had, Jerry. He gave a relaxing massage with the best pressure that I’m sure I was in and out of sleep from being so relaxed. I like how after blow drying your hair, they had a machine that shows you the condition of your scalp post treatment. I also took one of my guy friends; it was his first experience doing such a treatment and he enjoyed it so much he wants to come back. The staff are friendly and attentive to make sure you have a good experience. Definitely a must try headspa if you’re in the area!

Absolutely heavenly! I now have an indulgent monthly treat for self-care. The place has a no fuss facade but inside is actually designed with Eastern, particularly Chinese ornaments like mini water fountains. Rooms are kept neat and tidy too.Yuki did an amazing job! She started with a head massage that eased the tension on my temples and occipital area. Then the treatment commenced with the perfect water temperature. My scalp was thoroughly scrubbed getting rid of oil deposits and dry skin. Yuki also poured herbal medicine as part of the treatment. Steam was done towards the end along with an arm massage.That was 60 minutes of bliss for only $58! Regular pricing will resume soon at $68 but it’s still such a steal! Bring cash.I’d try their massage and other treatments soon should I be back in Greenpoint again.

I went here and received the 90 minute herbal scalp treatment. The experience was great. Your hair is washed several times with different shampoo/conditioners; your upper back, neck, and shoulders are massaged; your scalp receives a steam treatment and you get both arms massaged while that is going; nice warm flow of water on your head throughout the experience. Just be mindful the last about 20 minutes of the booking is reserved for drying your hair. I didnt want my hair blow dried and so they massaged my shoulders and back for that time.

I’ve tried a headspa place in Flushing but this was by far better! I got the hour long steam scalp treatment and my hair is so soft after! I especially loved the shoulder and head massage. I left feeling so relaxed and I would definitely come back another time. I also appreciated the hair drying at the end (although the hair dryer got a little hot). They even showed you your hair under the microscope which was fun.

Beautiful spa. Everyone who works there is really nice. Overall good experience. My only challenge was communication. I wanted to ask more about what treatments/services I was getting and ask to not scrape my scalp with their nails. But we didn’t speak the same language. Also this was my first time at a head spa. Would have appreciated knowing more about the services I got, the products they used and their benefits.

I’ve been here twice and I’m absolutely hooked! First time, I got the regular scalp treatment and I couldn’t tell you how long the session was because I fell asleep 6 minutes into it. I felt like a queen being bathed in an oasis. Second visit, I got the 30 min massage and herbal scalp treatment. It was amazing! The massage was deep tissue and Lily got EVERY single worry and woe out of my life with her hands. *chefs kiss* Then, again, I knocked out within the first few minutes of the scalp treatment. I apologize to all the other clients who were hearing me snore blissfully. Will definitely be coming here again and again and again and again. I don’t want to wash my own hair ever again.

Wow. I just had a 90 min scalp, head and body massage. Incredible and incredibly priced at $98. First was at least 30 min of back and legs, with hot stones at one point and a lot of pressure, which I love. Then the head of the massage table opened for the scalp washing- first a deep neck and head massage, then shampooing, steaming, brushing, rinsing- it’s all so lovely and indulgent. I’ve read some reviews complaining about the look of their hair after they blow dry it, but this is a wellness spa, not a hair salon. I will be coming back.

Excellent service, convenient location north of McCarren Park, very clean and organized, very nice and skilled staff with strong and deft hands. I chose the package of 30 min massage and 60 min scalp treatment. I got to see how clear my scalp is now. I feel more awake and brainstormed ideas from the extra head stimulation / increased blood circulation. Booking an appt was very simple and I got it the same day. I had an amazing and relaxing time at Blissful Headspace Spa. The staff were super helpful and kind. They offered us tea and snacks when we entered, showing their hospitality towards its clients. The workers did an amazing job massaging my shoulders, neck, head, and arms. They put the perfect amount of pressure, and you can even request them to apply more or less depending on your preference. They shampooed my hair, leaving it super soft. I couldnt stop touching my hair after the treatment because of how soft it was. After the scalp treatment, they blow dried my hair and used various red light methods. There was a screen showing how clean my hair was. I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this place!

This place was amazing. I got the scalp treatment and it was so relaxing. They first started off with a head massage and then washed my hair. They used so many tools. After they blow dried my hair and used so many different tools to boost hair growth. It was a great experience and highly highly recommend. Will be coming back for more!

Enjoyed my Signature scalp treatment at Bliss and would like to come back 1-2x a year. I felt the experience was more about relaxation than cleaning your hair or scalp/improving hair health which is totally fine with me. They do a wide variety of massages, water jets and conditioners. Wish they would have given some details on what exactly they put in my hair during the treatment but it all turned out nicely regardless.

10/10 experience. After seeing a couple of online videos I dreamt of how amazing this experience would be. I found Blissful Headspace Spa once walking home and I finally committed to stopping in and getting a scalp treatment. It was an hour long of pure relaxation and top tier massaging. After your treatment is completed they show you a view of your scalp with a macro camera and you can see just how clean and tended to your scalp is. Don’t second guess stopping in and treating yourself to one of the most relaxing hours you’ll have in your life.

Saw a review of this spot on TikTok and couldn’t wait to try it! They are so kind, the space is clean and I found it easy to relax. I made a reservation the night before online, and got the 78$ steam and scalp treatment. They had a special running and it was actually only 58$! Started with changing out of my shirt and putting on their cape, which was comfy. I laid on the bed and the magic of the massage I received was so amazing! My technician took his time and made sure to work on some knots out in my shoulders and neck! He then cleaned my hair, twice! Somehow, it didn’t tangle! It was magic. Loved the gentle pulling and scratching. I have a ton of hair so I was worried he would miss a spot! I was wrong! Then I sat up and they blew dried my hair and showed me how clean my scalp was. It’s been AGES since my hair was this soft and this clean. Truly a place to try with exceptional service! A must try even at the regular price!

I went recently to blissful and booked the 2 hr treatment with Yuki. At first, I was a little apprehensive because I have very thick mix textured hair- think 3B, 3C and 4A in some parts of my head- but I took a risk and booked it. I did pre-detangle my hair before my appointment the next day, just to prevent anything but it was just an extra precaution, because she used some great products that honestly deranged my hair with no issues. My hair was clean, bouncy and it looked so healthy at the end of the appointment- I also had the steam treatment. I also had a body massage, which was also great.I will definitely be returning, at least once a month, just for maintenance. The ONLY reason I have it 4 stars and not 5 is because someone’s phone kept going off, and I’m pretty sure it was one of the staff’s lol

Saw a person with 4c hair review this place and decided to give it a try. In all honesty, this place gave great massages. I went with a friend and we both got the scalp massage and 30min body massage. The spa was very accommodating when booking and the person who did my treatment was lovely. These are all the things that gave this place a 5 star rating for me at first.I had to take two stars off for the main event, The scalp massage, is very lackluster. It’s essentially a light hair wash with some massaging that’s nothing more than when you go to get a blow out. There’s a lot of face and forehead and neck massaging which is lovely but for a scalp massage, the entire middle of my head was never touched.Like I said, my massage was great but this place def does not specialize in scalp massages. Also, as a textured girlie, I was not going in with high expectations for what would happen after I had my hair wet and I even brought my own blow dryer just in case I needed it and I did. I understand there is a language barrier but you’re telling me a place that associates itself with hair does not know what a comb is or what it’s called in English? I asked for one and was just stared at. I was okay with blow drying my own hair but it was very awkward to have everyone including the staff watch me as if I was an alien, I felt so judged. I’m also not sure if it was because I dried my own hair, but that whole scalp analysis post service, was not even offered to me. After an hour and a half of being relaxed, the end part of my service only made me tense.

Upcharged us by giving us a steam head thing but not letting us know it’s extra. Our fault I guess for not being more cautious, but it was very clear we came from tiktok and just wanted the $50 deal thing, NOT a $100 experience. They also do not do any styling or blowing out, just some blow drying so your hair isn’t dripping wet. wouldn’t recommend for anyone with hair that has volume or a little curls or waves if you want your hair to look nice after (aka… not friendly for anyone who doesn’t have thin straight hair). On the plus side the ladies were very nice and the place is clean :)

I went in for the 1 hour steam treatment for $78 and they were able to accommodate a walk in. I wear the hijab and when I entered I saw another hijabi at the front desk so I assumed they could accommodate. The treatment itself was great and in a private room, the woman who did it was thorough. My only critique for that portion of the treatment was it was hard to fully relax because the walls don’t connect to the ceiling so I can hear all the conversations happening in the front. The hair drying part was when I felt rushed. It happens in an open space in the back. I asked them to make sure men didn’t enter that area and the male employees were mindful but there was a male client who passed by and saw me. I did go at night time when the salon was empty to try to avoid that. Two women blow dried my hair to speed up the process and accommodate him but the bottom portion wasn’t fully dry. I understand this is a difficult request since they are a business open to all but it would be great if they could have a tatami divider or blow dry in the private room to ensure this doesn’t happen. Considering it is located in Brooklyn where there is a huge Muslim population, I’m sure it would be a great investment to purchase a divider so the place can be advertised as hijab-friendly :)

Great experience. Clean facilities. Massage was wonderful. My scalp and hair feels healthy and rejuvenated. Really cool to see what your follicles and scalp look like after the treatment. It would have been a bonus to see my scalp before the treatment but not necessary.

Overall a great experience. Very relaxing, incredible massage included with a deep scrub. My two biggest pieces of feedback would be:1. Change the shampoo, it smelt like axe whereas I would have preferred a lavender, rosemary, or mint scent2. The blowout — they blow your hair out straight but its not a styled blowout; I would have rather just styled it myself (I have curly hair and blowing it out straight does not look good). For the money spent, I think this service should be included

Ambience is nice and calm. Very clean and professional. I did the scalp treatment with the massage. The female I had for both services was too ruff. The massage was not the best. I had to tell her to take it easy a couple of times. My scalp feels the cleanest it has ever felt. It feels amazing. To my curly hair ladies, the quick blowout will not be enough to tame your hair. Make sure you bring a clip or a scrunchie to put your hair up at the end. I would come back for a scalp treatment, but I will go with someone else next time.

The treatment itself, which I expected to be a blissful escape, was underwhelming. The scalp massage was lackluster, with minimal effort and technique displayed by the therapist. Additionally, when I asked for the temperature to be colder it got hotter and my scalp was burning. Even the customer service left much to be desired; the staff seemed disinterested and were not very accommodating. Overall, this experience did not live up to the expectations and the 90 min scalp treatment I booked was not worth $178. I do not recommend this head spa to anyone seeking a truly luxurious and relaxing treatment.

It was not a relaxing massage. I kept asking for less pressure on my head/scalp, but the lady continued. The approach was not gentle and relaxing. The massage itself was very fast paced, I had water coming into my ear and down my back. It’s a lovely spa, but totally depends on who you get. My friend who came with me had a great experience, but sadly I didn’t.

Incredible experience. I did a walk-in and was given Yuki as my specialist. She did an incredible job. I was so relaxed when I leftUpdate: i went back and got a second scalp massage because i enjoyed the first one so much. The guy who did my massage today was so aggressive and rough that i am incredibly sore and in pain. Was not as relaxing as the first time.Will try again in the future but only with one of the female employees.

They massaged my head, neck, shoulders and arms while I had an herbal warm mask over my eyes. The massage released me of all tension and headache. They washed my hair so well that the scalp was absolutely clean. Once they dried and brushed my hair they showed me with a camera how clean the scalp is. I’m so glad I found this place.

Omg this is a must try. It was my first time at a head spa and it was so worth it. My head specialist Wendy was a blessing! Her strong fingers applied just the right pressure I needed. Cant wait to come back again! Blowdry was included. If only they had haircuts and treatments, I would have everything I need at this head spa.

I had an amazing 60min steam scalp treatment with Claire! The spa is very clean with wonderful service. The treatment included a scalp massage, a number of hair washes and treatments with light massage throughout, and then a scalp steam with arm and shoulder massages. They show your scalp up close at the end of the treatment. Next time I’ll try the 90min scalp treatment that includes additional techniques. Highly recommend!

Honestly…I was very surprised at how non relaxing this was. I really wanted to like this place. The man who did my treatment aggressively smacked my head during the massage portion and was just very rough overall. Maybe a woman would have provided a more gentle treatment.During the blowout portion, the girls next to me who claimed they were influencers got these cool brushes applied to their head, meanwhile I did not. They have a cool camera that shows you your scalp and portions of my scalp were honestly pretty red after that treatment (however, I felt very clean!!). My hair looks really greasy after he applied the oil and my hair wasn’t even fully dried on top.I will say, my scalp is extremely clean after, and other people seem to have a great experience here so maybe it was the person who treated me

Woah! Came here after seeing a few videos on Tik Tok and was not disappointed. Im sure this place is going to be booked out soon. The head scalp was amazing! I came in with a migraine and they released so much tension. The service was awesome. Vienna is so polite and kind and gives an insanely great scape treatment. Perfect temperature and pressure. My hair has never felt so soft, I was quite literally shocked at how healthy my hair feels.Highly recommended. They also give $20 off on Monday - Thursday which is sweet! But please still tip them on the original price!Couldnt recommend higher! I will see you all again soon.

Wasn’t too crazy about this during the summer as it was pretty warm in the space. They also have no idea how to treat curly hair! Parts of the process were super intense but I think would be more enjoyable in the winter time.

Curly girls beware! If you’re expecting a blowout after - don’t. They blow dry without a brush (just hands) which seemed fine for everyone with straight hair. I was expecting a more intense scalp massage. At the beginning, they massaged my face without and oil or water which I found odd. They also give you a back and shoulder massage but they don’t use lotion or oil just shampoo from your hair…

Very rude scalp massage. They can’t explain what kind of products they use and what kind of procedures they do because they don’t know English. Why do they use heat water, why do they use hot steam for scalp and what kind of shampoos do they use.After their head spa my hair lost the volume, the roots are very dry and my hair is becoming dirty very fast. Also I wouldn’t say it was “relaxing” because people there were all in rush.If you want to lose your hair volume and screw up your beautiful long hair - welcome here.

New head spa thats opened up in the neighborhood. Really great because its the first of its kind here! The staff and owner were nice and the deal cannot be beat for the signature head massage and steam. Very relaxing and the owner (who did my service) cared if he was using too much pressure or not.

This was my first time doing a scalp treatment or having an isolated scalp massage and wow wow wow was it amazing. I left even more relaxed than a traditional massage.Yuki (who was my masseuse) was INCREDIBLE! She spent a significant of time massaging my neck, shoulders, and forehead before getting into the scalp treatment itself. It was extremely relaxing and felt like a massage at a lux facility. From there, she started the scalp treatment by shampooing my hair and working my scalp through long massaging motions and quick stroke to stimulate the hair follicles (presumably). The steam portion and the water fall experience (I dont know the technical term) were also highly relaxing. Ill be incorporating this as a staple in my wellness routine for sure.

Really wanted to like this, we were so excited but sadly it was Not great. Friend and I came after seeing many IG videos. Our “hour long” treatment was 30 mins and then 15 mins of blowdrying. Seemed rushed a bit. The scalp massage itself was extremely rough.. the scratching of scalp with fingernails was WAY too rough. Not soothing or relaxing during that part . I have a few scratches on my scalp that broke skin from her finger nails.I did enjoy my neck massage but my friend did not. She said the pressure was extremely hard and aggressive. A few hours later she has some bruising on her neck.I feel like we basically paid 80 dollars for an aggressive hair wash.My friend paid while i was getting finished getting blowdried. She was waiting for me so we could tip together and they hunted her down asking for a tip. Not the best customer service.

I’ve been here twice: The first time it was ok; the second time not so much. Despite specifying that I do not want a rough head massage to the front desk beforehand, and also mentioning it to the practitioner multiple times during the massage, it was still painful. My hair was pulled and my scalp was scratched. I also ended up having an allergic reaction to the products they used and spent the next day dealing with an uncomfortable and burning scalp.

Made an appointment almost a month in advance for spa package (scalp treatment and 30 min massage) and facial. 2 days before the appointment they moved my appointment earlier by 30 mins. When I got to the spa they told me they actually couldnt do the package but could do the herbal steam treatment and facial. During the facial she used some extraction device that left a bruise on my forehead before I even left. No complaints about the scalp treatment im not sure it really did anything. It was frustrating that they moved my appointment 30 mins earlier and 20 mins of that time was spent discussing what I booked. If they couldnt do what I made an appointment for, even with changing my time they shouldve just said that from the beginning.

It was such an amazing experience, 1 hour of head spa is what I needed to relax and feel alive again! The salon is new and very clean, stuff is very friendly. I absolutely loved the place and already referred all of my friends!

They give you a deep head massage, shampoo twice, and an herbal steam. They also give you a shoulder massage and blow dry your hair. I couldn’t recommend enough!
