I have been a loyal customer of JZ Nails for a while now, and I cannot praise this salon enough! Lina, my talented nail technician, consistently gives me the most incredible bio gel manicures. She is meticulous, professional, and always patient, especially when Im indecisive about my nail design. Linas expertise and creativity ensure that my nails look perfect every time. Plus, she provides a super relaxing shoulder massage after each visit, making the entire experience even more delightful. I’ve been here with several friends multiple times and all of their nail techs have been equally excellent. Highly recommend JZ Nails, they will give you exceptional service and truly stunning nails that really last - I always get compliments up to the day I’m due for a fill!

I just got the most perfect bio gel manicure from Lina. She was so meticulous and made sure the shape was exactly how I wanted it. She recommended this beautiful milky OPI gel polish that brought everything together. Even got a back massage while the gel was curing. They are cheaper than other nail salons at $65 while others charge up to $90. Highly highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Absolutely amazing nail salon- I came in with a difficult tortoiseshell French tip inspo pic and my nail tech, Lina, didn’t blink an eye. She was so careful and really took attention to detail, and even stayed after the salon closed to make sure my nails were perfect. I will 100% be returning! She even threw in a little 2 minute massage & a nail photoshoot. Love it here.

Love this place. The salon is very clean and the nail techs are so nice. They shape the cuticle and nails great, and they can do any design you ask for. My nails came out just like I wanted it.

I had such a nice experience at JZ Nails. I came in with an idea of doing orange aura nails and I showed them a picture. They did such a great job with it! I walked away with exactly what I wanted. I’ll definitely come back.

I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure, my first time trying this spot, and I will definitely be back. Lina at JZ Nails was absolutely fabulous! Overall very happy with both my manicure and pedicure. Lina’s attention to detail and care for her customers was very impressive. Her pedicure foot massage was to die for, I felt so relaxed.

This place is always good but Suki did my gel extensions today and they are amazing! It took a bit longer than usual but that was because she clearly wanted to make sure they were perfect. Best mani ever! Thank you!

Really good experience getting Japanese gel nails here. Lina was kind, patient and got to what I envisioned 90% to its likeness. I will definitely come back as the nails are still looking great.

In addition to misquoting the price over the phone, nail tech cut me and made me bleed more than once. Really unsanitary and rushed.

Update! I’ve been visiting this spot as my regular go to spot and absolutely love them. Everyone is very sweet and they do an amazing job. They’re so sweet, and nice, and do a totally stellar job. I’ve recc’d to all my coworkers since I work a few blocks away - a total gem!

I don’t think I have ever written a bad review about a store in my life. I know how important the reputation of a small business is. However, I believe my experience was so horrible that I deserve a full refund, and since this was not offered to me at the store, I want to warn others. I’ve gotten my nails done many times and never had an experience like this, and one of the most expensive!I got a powder manicure and regular pedicure. The person who did my nails was Emily. The water was tap cold when I put my feet in. She put water on my legs but did not give me moisturizer (I had to ask for it and put it on myself) and she was incredibly rough with my nails and it hurt.She gave me a COMPLETELY wrong color than what I asked for., which I realized by the second mail. When I told her so, she told me I was wrong several times. I asked for a light purple and she gave me a coral pink. After several back and forth between us, she finally offered to re-do it, but I felt so uncomfortable I just told her Never mind. And they were busy and i know she works for tips, I didnt want to make a scene. The overall paint job of my nails is also horrible. There is nail powder (I got dip) everywhere, I’ve attached photos.I want a refund!!

I love the hard gel manicure I get here all the time. I get a standard pedicure, and it all lasts for quite a while. Everyone is so lovely here. It is super clean, new chairs, etc.

I went to JZ nails because I needed my nails fixed. I had gone to a different salon that did not do the design I requested. As soon as I walked in to JZ they helped me and were super kind and friendly. Lin did my nails and omg she was so amazing! She was detailed, meticulous and did the design exactly as I requested. They even helped me because I came in with a wood splinter I got right before arriving. If I was from NY this would be my go to.

Paid $140 for a very subpar gel mani and spa pedi. Not worth it.I went to JZ nails via recommendation from a friend because her gel nails looked impeccable and lasted almost 3 weeks.I booked an appointment for a basic pedi (quoted at $35 online) and gel mani.Upon starting my pedicure, my stylist tried to upsell me (very typical), and kept telling me that “I need a callus remover.” She pointed to the sign for the spa pedicure for $55 and even though it was $20 more expensive, I was like: sure. I’ll treat myself. It’s been a long week.Pedicure was fine until the end when I noticed the polish on my big toes looked clumpy - when I politely pointed this out, she rushed over and told me she’d put a top coat (but she already had done that?)She then did my gel mani, and put 3 coats of polish, and 2 coats of top coat (I understood the 3 coats of polish as it was a pastel, but never had a stylist put 2 coats of top coat. still, I was tired and frustrated because the experience was less than relaxing so I just went with it.All of this so far is kind of an average experience in New York, so although I was a bit disappointed, I shrugged it off as a learning experience.Then she wrote the bill to pay. $116. I looked at her with genuine confusion as I tried to do the math. $42 gel mani + $55 spa pedi = $97 plus tax = $106. I asked her where the additional $10 came from, and she told me that was the pedicure I chose. I then expressed that I was genuinely confused and was under the impression we did the spa pedicure, to which she started arguing with me that it was my fault i misunderstood her.This really just broke my patience. I told her that get there was clearly some confusion, but I was trying to be polite, and frankly, didn’t appreciate her arguing with me. The manager stepped in, apologized to me, and offered to refund me the $10 for the miscommunication. I declined because I wanted to pay for what I owed.It was just so unpleasant that I left feeling frustrated instead of rejuvenated.Less than 48 hours later, my gel mani has already chipped.So, probably won’t return. Recommend Reedchy (way more relaxing and luxurious experience for a slightly lower price point).

I loveeee this nail salon, i always come in to get fill ins and they always turn out so nice & last a good 3 weeks. i spent weeks looking for a good nail salon & this place has checked all my boxes 💗.

My nails was done almost 2 weeks ago and it’s still good. Lina could designs with my reference images(I always bring the nail design images) and she’ve done beyond that which I greatly appreciated. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend to everyone!!

Was really excited to get a great color for my first trip out the country since covid.Got a gel manicure and pedicure that made it all the way home, but work up this morning with a chip out the corner. The gel hadn’t set and the entire nail was soft. The chip caught my sweater and the entire thing was gone within the hour. One nail can take down an entire look…

Finally found a place i like in NYC! been searching for over a year after moving back here & this place is great! service is quick and prices are pretty standard and fair. i go to Leah and she does an amazing job every time! Very meticulous and gentle but gets the job done in a reasonable time. They also have the business cards with a reward for repeat customers.

I got my nails done here on Friday & today is Sunday & my nails are already chipping. The overall job was very sloppy and felt rushed although it wasn’t busy. I have to redo my nails 3 days later elsewhere. I’m sad I chose to come here

I got a gel nails two months ago and it is still staying on so so well! Amazing amazing job. time for me to go back and get another one. One is the day I got it and one is literally over two months later.

Honestly, the gel manicure was rushed. I love the color but you can see the brush strokes and the gel is bumpy. We made an appointment for 6:45pm and were rushed out not allowing the gel to dry properly. Also, we didnt tip on the credit card as they prefer cash. When they saw we didnt leave tip they mumbled cheap under their breath. Your sign clearly states to please tip in cash. Will never go back. Ill always go to Wi Nails a few blocks away. Its a relaxing ambiance and such amazing service.

I went to a nail salon previously to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady messed them up. I came here right after and they fixed my eyebrows so nicely I was super pleased with my experience and my results. My Waxer was kind and listened to what I wanted. I would 100% come back!

LET ME TELL YOU ALL!! I’ve been searching so hard for the perfect nail salon & this is it. The staff there is amazing, working on minimum wage, the way they did my gel manicure though? Outstanding! Must ask for Joey! she educated me very well on my nails and how I can make the best out of gel, they also offer SNS. My gel mani was 32$ but worth all of it literally. Very sanitary & organized as well. More colors than most to choose from. I’ll be going biweekly❤️

I went to JZ nails for my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was greeted and sat down right away. The options for nail colors were fantastic. My nail technician did a great job shaping and cleaning up my nails. Nails turned out so well I asked for a massage. I will be going back again and calling this my nail home :)

They were very nice but unfortunately the design looks very bad. The lines aren’t clean and it was done with regular nail polish instead of gel so it’s smeared. People have been legit laughing.

I’ve been coming to JZ Nails for as long as they’ve been open. I followed Joey and Lina here when they opened up shop and I continue to come here every month for my mani/pedi’s. They always do a great job and the prices are fair. I love that they’re really clean here, everyone gets a new bag to cover the pedicure sink, you get a new set of tools, and you also get a new paddle attachment for your dead skin removal.I’ve also had my eyebrows done here every month and it’s always a solid experience. I always feel like they do a great job and take their time with me.You can call and make an appointment ahead of time or most of the time you can just walk in. I prefer to make my appointments ahead of time so I never have to wait. I also love that they bring the gel colors to you in a sample rack so you don’t have to stand there by the display picking your colors.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I’m never disappointed! Everyone is so kind and asks if you’re pleased every step of the process so you never feel uncomfortable giving any feedback. This set was done by Lin and I’m absolutely obsessed! She’s was extremely meticulous and made sure the design matched my reference photo.

I absolutely love this place! I have been going consistently for the past few months and every time my nails come out looking amazing. Staff is really nice and extremely accommodating.

Charged me $7 to remove my gel, also I paid extra for my manicure to use a longer lasting polish and it looks like they watered it down, you can see in some parts of the nail it’s lighter then others...so for this and a pedicure it cost me $47..

I forgot why I stopped coming here and then I tried this place again after 12+ months. If you get a basic pedicure ($31) it’ll be 10 minutes total (not even kidding) and you could do a better job on your own. They seem to only care about the customer if you do a spa pedicure or better ($50+). And god forbid if you’re a woman and don’t shave your legs, they make fun of you the entire time.

I have been coming here for a few years now and really love it. Everyone is friendly and professional. I always leave with my nails looking and feeling great. The shop is clean and cute. It’s not a fancy spa-type atmosphere but it’s clean, cozy and even if it’s busy it still feels comfortable. I’ve never waited more than 15 mins for a walk-in and my appointments have always been on time. It’s also right near some cute places to eat in the event you do have to wait. Prices are average but I think they offer better quality than many similarly priced spots. This is my go-to. Last visit Lani did nails an they were so pretty! Get yourself down there and forget to tip cash!

They have a good price for a manicure and I really liked the lady who did my nails. I would definitely go here again. They have a good selection of nail polish and nails are only $15.00 here. I asked and the pedi was $18.00 which is a very reasonable price

Lina is amazing here! Her manicures last way longer than usual and she’s so thorough and detail-oriented. She’s so sweet and everyone else was also very welcoming, it’s my go to spot!

They charged me extra 7 dollars to pay with card although I asked when I walked in if I can pay everything with card and they said Yes without mentioning extra charges. I also asked for spa pedicure and a manicure with regular nail polish. When it was time for the manicure they swapped the nail polish type; when I asked to use the same one they pretended not to understand and said same. I was then charged extra for a gel manicure. In total they charged me 20$ extra compared to the special bundle prices they display on the walls. My toe polish was damaged by the time I got home because it was not dry although the technician checked it and said its ok. Pedicure overall is substandard. Not sure why this place shows a 4 star rating on Google maps which is why I went there in the first place. Will not come back!

These ladies were extremely patient and friendly. Me and my 2 other friends need last minute manicure and pedicures before our trip and they were able to squeeze us in at the last minute. They didn’t rush us or was even rude about it!

I went to get my dip powder manicure removed so I could just have bare nails. They used an efile to remove the dip and overbuffed my nails so much, that they’re now paper thin. Now, my nail beds hurt because my nails are too thin to provide any protection. It’s painful when my fingers are exposed to cold air or hot water, and even when I put pressure on my fingers by typing on a keyboard. I called them and asked them for advice, and they got defensive and hostile, claiming that I must have “touched alcohol or something,” to make my nail beds hurt, and complaining about me to each other in Mandarin Chinese (spoiler alert: I understand Mandarin Chinese). I had to buy clear nail polish and put 10 layers on each nail to try to create some sort of barrier that would protect my overexposed nailbeds. They hurt less now, but before I did that, it literally felt like I had burned all 10 of my fingers. Absolutely not okay.

Lina is an artist. She was so meticulous with little details and also so patient (and kind) when I was unsure about colors etc! I can’t wait to see her again. She’s amazing. Joey also helped out as Lina was running a little behind and Joey rocked!

I really like the staff they were very attentive. They were not doing things in a rush. They were very professional my daughters and I loved our nails.

Went in for a basic manicure and pedicure...my technician could not be bothered and had no care in the quality of work she did. The massage, if you can call it that, was like limpid hands going through the motions. Never going back!

Rushed through my pedicure barely scrubbing my feet, her and another nail tech made fun of my cuticles right in front of me while my manicure was being done. while my nails were drying they were all standing around, bags in hand just waiting for me to leave. i left without my nails even being dry bc i was so uncomfortable. i won’t come back here again

Lina of JZ Nails is absolutely fantastic. She is the owner and has 25+ years experience...and it shows! The other girls are good for basic needs, but for fancy designs, Lina should be your go-to. She does amazing nail art and is timely, polite and creative. Will absolutely be back! Thank you Lina!
