Halo Bar

This little place is my safe space out of normality in life. I feel very welcome here I feel that I can be me and come vent and make new friends and bring old ones and we enjoy each others company. This is the best little gay club around

$5 cover charge and dancing... which is what the Mrs and her friend were really wanting.Not my scene... plus I was DD so FAR TOO sober for super loud music regardless of location.

Bartender Liam is the best if youre lucky enough to get him ask for his signature drink its one of my favorites ...plus the drag shows are amazing.

The lightings were amazing. Very friendly staff. I went with my friends. It was my first visit to a gay bar. Night shows were going on. Ended up dancing a lot. Drinks are priced reasonably. A fun place to visit if you are around Bryan/ College Station area.

The music upstairs is god awful and the drinks are overpriced, but its the only gay bar in town and they know it

I had a great time! Super relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and everyone was kind. Went for karaoke night and really enjoyed watching everyone sing. Maybe next time Ill work up the courage to sing myself

The flavored smoke was a bit much upstairs, great light show though. Bartenders upstairs were a bit too young, personality goes a long way when trying to make tips. Chai downstairs was fantastic, great energy.

I love Halo, Great vibes, great shows, great night. However the music could use a bit of changing, they do play different songs but it all has the same beat and it gets a bit boring. I like to drink and dance, the more I dance, the more I drink. Overall however, I recommend this bar to the community and Straight people lol

Great place for dancing, best lights of any place to dance in town. Drinks prices are a bit higher than I expected, particularly when there is a cover charge. The shows are great though, definitely a good place to end a hen or a stag party.

The drag show had me and my straight friend in tears. It was a hilarious ending to our night and great beginning of going out to night clubs again. Drinks were typical price and door cover was minimal. Overall a good experience for such a small venue.

They have amazing shows! Also, the drinks are great, depending on the bartender. Jack and cokes were definitely on point! The restrooms are unisex so men have a urinal and there is a separate stall for women but just know its the same restroom for both, in case youre not used to that or knew that. Never ever had a problem. The DJ is on the second floor and on point too and music is completely danceable and he mixes it up with pump songs and songs you can sing to. If youre more in the mood to chill, downstairs is a lounge and with separate music and bar with nice cushion seats. This place has a wonderful and inviting atmosphere and all are welcome if you are also accepting of all.

Loved this place! Great people, great atmosphere, its everything you would want in a bar (provided youre part of the younger generation). Had a blast, the bartenders were great, the DJ was amazing, Im definitely going to be coming back soon!

The best cozy experience I have ever had in a bar. I had never been there before, but they were kind to me from the second I stepped in the door. I highly recommend if you are looking for something different where you wont be judged for being yourself.

Halo is a great bar. The staff is nice and the drinks are strong. I didnt order anything crazy (double gin and tonic) but I was served immediately and the drinks werent all that expensive either.Obviously, this is a gay bar. I am straight, which I think was apparent to the regulars, and they made sure that I felt right at home. Drag night was a blast and so was karaoke night. Chai is one of their staff, Im not sure what his title is, but he is extremely sweet and caring and he deserves a raise.Check out Halo! You wont regret it.

It was amazing. The group doing the show was a take off on Harry Potter. The performances were classy and professional. Our group spanned ages from early thirties to late 70’s and everyone had a wonderful time.

Clean, professional bar with nightly drag shows. Depending on the night, the dance floor can be a little empty until after the midnight drag show. Drinks are reasonably priced. There’s usually a good mix of gay men and lesbians, rather than a flood of gay boys. I know it’s a little thing, but the bathrooms are eternally spotless.

Lovely staff, interesting mix of people. Krys runs great karaoke on Thursday nights and it is a really unique scene for the area. Would recommend checking it out, they have an awesome Drag Show contest most Fridays.

Such a good time for everyone, drinks were well made and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. If you have the chance to see a Drags show then you are in for a good time, every Queen was fantastic and so worth the cover charge.

A well organised and fun establishment, worth my money and time! The drag show was top notch! The music was well excellent to dance and sing to. Would recomend to anyone looking for abgreat night, as its a gem! Much better than many clubs in Houston.

Drag shows are great, and they’re the only time you’re hearing good music. otherwise, the djs put on whatever’s on candy95 but as a god awful beach club remix

Frist time to a drag show and I must say it was a blast! If you have a free Saturday night and want to check out a drag show this is a great place to go! Drinks were good and not over priced.

Great bar for dancing and they have very B good drinks for a decent price. I go with my girlfriend but it is a gay bar but everyone can have a good time. And the people are all nice and welcoming.

Great Staff, awesome shows, drinks were fairly ok. Just not my type of scene honestly! Also music sucked... However if you love rave/dance music then youll find this to be a great place...

Amazing atmosphere and people, the drag shows are every Friday and Saturday night. Totally worth it for the drag! The cover charge is $5 for 21 and up and $10 for below.

I love this place. The environment, the music, the drag queens. Its just a good place to vibe and drink with friends. Or by yourself. 100% recommend.

From my knowledge the only place in town like it. Been twice so far, very welcoming and can not only be a laid back atmosphere, but at times an up beat tempo similar to House music club. Two stories, both with bars as well. Definitely will be coming back.

For the most part it was okay if you are into a sort of club scene. However, one of the bartenders or managers was rude to our group. He kept walking around and putting things in place while making snide remarks. There werent many people there for a weekend night. Drinks were fairly expensive for B/CS area.

The drinks are typically very weak. The beer selection is pretty small, so youre only real option is mixed drinks. A single well drink is $5 and if you order whiskey and water like I do it will be completely transparent with only a hint of color or flavor. It is essentially a $5 ice water. Which brings me to another issue. If you ask for a water they will usually insist they cant give you a free water and will try to sell you bottled water for $2. They arent consistent on that rule though. If it wasnt for the fact that this is a gay club and they have a drag show, no one would come here and the place wouldnt last.

The drag show was amazing and it felt like everyone was so comfortable. Def will be back
