Complete waste of money. I paid $200 for 60 minutes facial and she was done in 10 minutes with an extraction machine. Which hardy did anything to my face. For first 15 minutes she was cleaning my face with alcohol wipes which again hardy touch my skin. Absolutely nothing was done. And when I ask what are you going to do with rest of my time so she replies that she has to clean the machine and I had to pay for the machine cleaning time. Than I went to front desk and he replied that it’s a 20 minute quick facial. I don’t want 20 minute facial that’s why I booked 60 minute and paid for 60 minute. Please don’t go there they have no idea what they are doing.
I am so tired of the Burlington branch calling my partner the day of her appointment to cancel. She is always so disappointed. She looks forward to her massages and I would say 70% of the time they cancel on the day of her appointment. Not only that, sometimes she shows up to an appointment and the doors are LOCKED! I have no idea how this branch stays in business. Of course, nobody in a managerial position ever gets back to her or apologizes or anything. Ive tried multiple times to contact someone in charge. Today is the first day Ive read the actual reviews for this branch and it looks like Im not the first to experience this.
I had decided to edit my last review and here is why.When I fist signed up for their membership I thought it was a good idea due to my line of work I was going to be getting massages very often.But here is what happened after my couple of appointments that I had booked, it was very difficult to actually get an appointment, either they wouldnt answer the phone and or when I would actually show up to make and appointment in person they would be closed on hours of operation.I finally decided to cancel my membership. I called many times and left voicemails for someone to call me back, it took almost two weeks to hear back from someone, I spoke with a female that told me that my card will not be charged until a manager talks to me, so I said ok no problem. Two months later I had noticed that the card was charged for the membership again! I had my partner call due to I was at work and I couldnt call.The manager that he spoke to said that there was nothing in the system saying that I had called to cancel. So I called and surprisingly that same manager picked up the phone, we went over the same details as she did with my partner, I let her know that I have been waiting for ever for a manager to call me and I got no call back, its not my fault that the person on the phone gave me the wrong information, saying my card will not be charged. Needles to say the only thing that was done is her sending me some paper work for me to fill out so I can cancel my membership. I had many session left to use she told me I only had 60 days to use them all!! I had 17 sessions all together, so I asked her if the General manager can give me a call so see if there is something that she can do or work something out with me, this so called manager said to me... well shes just gonna tell you the same thing Im telling you. Okay thats fine but if she can give me a call that would be great!Its been two months and still no call from the general manager, I have called twice looking to the manager but Im always told shes not in. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. THIS BRANCH IS THE WORSE!!!GO THE ONE IN SAUGUS AND OR ARLIGNTON TRUST ME THEY ARE 10X BETTER THAN THIS PLACE.
I really hate to leave this bad review because it’s no reflection on the very nice massage therapists, or receptionists. I have called 5 times, and emailed the manager to have my membership cancelled as their availability does not work with my schedule. I emphasized I did not want to be charged again, I have been trying to contact the manager for a month now and have heard nothing. Yesterday I got charged again. After the receptionist told me she gave my information to the manager and I should be expecting a phone call or email that same day. (I was told this on 3 separate occasions) but still, nobody has contacted me. So now I will have to continue to call, and also call my bank to get my money refunded. this is the first review I’m ever leaving for a business in my life that’s how frustrated I am. DO NOT go to this massage envy location unless you want to be unable to cancel your membership at anytime.
I would do minus star here for the Burlington branch. I have been here before as well. The appointment was booked by husband for me as a nice gesture of him and when he booked he talked to a lady and she said whenever ur wife comes in she can choose a service, but when I entered they said u cant choose service whatever u like you have to get a massage while I wanted a facial. The guy on the counter was very rude if u even wouldnt get anything we will still charge ur card. , The basic rules everybody knows, but thank u for letting me know in a rude way,. The lady who gave me massage, I would say just rubbing moisturizer. It wasnt a massage at all. The branch definitely should hire somebody who knows their job better. Have got so many messages, this was the worst I have ever had. She said do u want scalp massage I said ok and she was just touching my hair I feel like. Whomsoever owns this branch definitely should look into it. I would say all my friends whom I have referred here, please spare yourself. There are much better options out there available. Dont waste your money here.
My visit yesterday with Lisa was wonderful. The best massage staff are the ones who will recommend stretches and go over your problem areas and how to correct them after the massage.I also have had good experiences with Liz for massages.The Burlington ME team has been fantastic in my 4 visits so far.

Lisa at Massage Envy Burlington gave me the best massage Ive ever had! I came in with such a tight neck I could hardly move my head. Lisa discussed best options for a massage and executed perfectly. The only problem is that everyone who has been to see Lisa loved her as much, so she is booked out for months 😃 Thank you Lisa!!
Did the LED light treatment facial with Heather and she was very easy going and explained each step of the treatment. I was so relaxed and saw a noticeable difference in my skin even after one treatment! I’ll definitely be back for another facial with Heather.

I would let you know the quality of the massages and atmosphere of the place, but problem is they keep cancelling my appointments and making me reschedule due to people calling out. Several times. When they reschedule it they do it like a month and a half later. Ugh. And also massage envy in general, they make it insanely difficult to schedule appointments at other locations if you have an account set up somewhere else, it involves them transferring credits, creating a new account for your guest, and hoping they dont cancel you again. To be clear Ive been nothing but nice to them but I just got cancelled again, and its like been such a poor experience.Edit:And from my experiences there are often no people on the phone, like I would call several times over the course of a week to schedule like... anything... and leave a voice message only to get no call back like... I promise Im not an agitator here, this is plain just bad service.
I have been with Massage Envy for over 10 years and well through the pandemic. I have over 30 unused massages on my account. I have a monthly credit card billed for the monthly fee. I book an appointment and get a call from them that said they cant honor the appointment because they dont have a credit card on file. They have confirmed the appointment was accepted and they chose to cancel. I want compensation for last minute cancellation. If you cancelled the last minute, they would charge you! Horrible customer service!

All staff are consistently polite, professional and provide excellent customer service. Liz is an excellent therapist focused on being sure I receive the desired result from this experience. She offers helpful tips on how to alleviate issues with any problem areas in between appointments.
5 stars for the service. Miguel was great. Attentive and responsive and used the time to hit all my problem areas. The room was pleasant. Checking in via the text message didnt work since I declined location services but theres no indication Arion that its required until after it fails. Once I turned it on in my phone settings check in still didnt work. I was able to call and. Heck in with no issue. Parking is plentiful and there are things yo do before and after the session.
Got my first professional massage here and both the front desk staff and the massage therapist, Jenny, were communicative and helpful in explaining how it works. Jenny is an experienced massage therapist who made me comfortable and helped get rid of stress in my body over the course of an hourlong, full body massage. I should have opted for an hour and a half because it went by so fast… maybe next time! I recommend Jenny for anyone looking for a moderate or firm massage because she is excellent at what she does. Thank you Jenny and Massage Envy for the experience!

I’ve been getting facials from Heather at the Burlington location for quite some time and I am always very happy with the results! She discusses what the treatment plan is and how we can address any skin concerns I have and also recommends great products to keep my skin glowing! She also gives a great arm/hand and shoulder/neck massage. Heather’s facials are my anti aging, no need to wear make up, secret weapon!
This is what I was looking for. I had a neck pain for long time. I tried couple of other local places for massage, but I always walked out with more pain. Then, I read reviews of massage envy and I thought I should give it a try. Kristina is the best, she is so professional. I walked out so refreshed with no pain. I will definitely go back.

They have been nothing but unprofessional and rude. I’ve been trying to cancel my membership since March because I am no longer comfortable due to Covid receiving the service. They ignored me for 3 months and then finally in June after multiple calls I was told by a worker named Fran that I could fill out a cancellation form and I’d be all set As long as it is filed by the next billing cycle. However I noticed in July I was charged again so I called to ask why and to get a refund to be told the form was not filed before the billing cycle so I could use the $$ for something else. Which I view as completely pointless, talk about missing the mark entirely I am cancelling because I’m not comfortable using their service but on top of that I don’t appreciate being told one thing from one employee to then be told something completely different by the next. I had to dispute the charge thru my credit card provider to then be charged again in August. I called and spoke to Robin who was nice and confirmed she could see my cancellation request from June and that I should not have still been charged but that a manager would call me back at 4 when they got in. Two days later the manager Danielle calls me back full of attitude and tells me that I cannot cancel my membership because I signed a year long commitment. I explained the entire situation and asked if I had been given false information by her employee to which she rudely told my only option would be to freeze my account regardless of things changing due to covid. I expressed my discomfort with the service again and told her I’d rather cancel knowing I’d never step foot in that place again after the treatment alone never mind my fear of catching covid. I went ahead and canceled my card so they’d no longer be able to charge me but wanted to share my experience for anyone else being bullied by massage envy.

Came here for the first time. Cost of $75 as an introductory charge.Whats Hot- Quality. Not bad, but not great. My masseuse did find some of the knots in my body and was able to massage them away. She started massaging my shoulders and I asked her to increase her pressure, which she did. Definitely communicative and responsive, which is important.- Service. I received a text message reminder asking me to confirm my appointment, as well. I made sure to arrive early, which is also what they requested, because I would need to fill out a questionnaire. They asked me the necessary and appropriate questions for the massage. The massage started on time, but ended pretty abruptly, which wasnt nice. I elaborate more below.- Price. Pretty reasonable, especially given the area. Additionally, they also offer a monthly membership that guarantees you a locked lower rate of a monthly hour massage. It also allows you to rollover unused massages to the next month. Definitely helpful.- Location. Pretty convenient to other shops and restaurants. Theres also a good size parking lot, which is helpful.- Health and safety. During this time of the pandemic, they appear to be adhering to health and safety standards. All their staff wore masks and there was a sign on the door asking customers to wear masks. Their text message reminder also requested customers to wear masks to maintain health and safety standards. It was reassuring.Whats Not- Quality/pace. My masseuse started my massage with cold hands, which didnt feel good. To be fair, it wasnt a bad massage, but the quality was lacking. The pace of my massage was frantic and not relaxing. Ive had massages for several years and an important factor for me is that I have the opportunity to focus on the present, that the tension in my body is being kneaded away, I can take deep breaths, and slow down. I didnt get that in this massage. There didnt seem to be a methodical approach to the massage.- User friendly. Not the most user friendly online platform. I tried to schedule my appointment online. With each attempt, I received a message that there were no available spots, so I tried the next weekend, but I received the same message. It made me wonder if theyre really so booked, so I called. They were able to schedule me within my availability, which was nice. But why wasnt I able to schedule it online so easily? Not helpful.- Time. Although I scheduled a 1hr massage, it came out to 50 minutes. To be fair, they explained why after I filled out the questionnaire, which was for the masseuse to ask me questions before my massage started, and to give me time to get ready before and after the massage. Unfortunately, I didnt get a full hour. My masseuse also ended pretty abruptly and didnt use a warm damp towel to clean off some of the massage lotion.- Price. For this area, $75 as an introductory price isnt bad. Based on what Ive researched, many spas cost more for an hour massage. However, its an introductory price. They told me its around $100/hr, without the monthly membership.
I’ve been going to Massage Envy for well over 5 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. From the desk staff to the massage therapists I’ve been treated with respect, kindness and professionalism. They were very responsive during the pandemic and took my concerns seriously. Now that I’m back getting massages, I’m confident they are doing everything they can to keep me and all the employees safe. I highly recommend the Burlington MA branch.
The Burlington location is clean and well run. I felt safe with regard to Covid which was extremely important to me. I had three massages with Fanyand each one got better. She listen to my needs and met them.
I booked a couples massage a month in advance. Massage Envy offers first time clients introductory offers, but the girls at the front counter insisted that I am not allowed to book a 2 hour introductory massage. I do not understand how you can offer an introductory offer but disallow clients to take advantage of your promoted offers. So we settled for a 1 1/2 hour with aroma therapies for the both of us.We were asked to arrive 10-15 minutes early, as we were new clients and had to fill out some forms, which is understandable, so we arrived early.When we arrived, the girl at the counter, her name was Maggie, dropped us in the tranquility room and forgot about us. She never came back to get our forms and no one ever checked on us even though multiple staff members walked by us. We sat and waited in that tranquility room for 25-30 minutes. Our massage was scheduled at 3:45 and we didnt get into the room until 4:10. And we only got into the room because the two masseuses ignored the girl at the desk and took us without us handing in our paperwork because we had already waited a ridiculously long time.The massage was great, the two masseuses were fantastic and extremely nice. They were not supposed to take us until the front desk checked our paperwork but they could see that I was getting furious with the lack of assistance.At the end of the massage I wasnt sure if the aroma therapies that I had booked were used so I inquired with the masseuses. They felt horrible, the girl at the front desk never added our aroma therapies! Even after she gave us her whole spiel about them and we spoke about it for a few minutes when I booked it! I know for a fact the girl that booked the appointment a month ago heard me and confirmed to me that there were two aroma therapies to go with the massages!When we checked out, another girl in the front, different than the one in the beginning, was just as rude. When the masseuses informed her that there were supposed to be aroma therapies but were never added, she didnt even bother acting as if it was an inconvenience for us.All in all, our masseuses were awesome, Burlingtons Massage Envys front desk staff, however, was terrible and rude.Update: I spoke to a manager, Robin, who was fantastic. She was very kind and seemed genuinely concerned for my lack of a relaxing experience.She seemed very upset to hear how her staff treated me. She informed me that I should have been booked for a 2 hour massage as I had originally asked, and did not know why her staff told me I was not allowed to. Of which, she said she would address. She also made note of my experience and was very thoughtful while discussing the problem with me. I thought she was very helpful, nice, and concerned and that she did very well with handling my situation.
Unfortunately, I share the experiences of many other clients that made the mistake of not having the foresight to cancel their membership before the Covid pandemic. I find it absolutely shameful that this business continued to charge membership fees during the pandemic. I’ve tried to reach out to resolve my issues, have left complaints with the Better Business Bureau. And massage envy’s response is the same every time. I didn’t want to cancel my membership, because policy is if you do not use your accrued services in 60 days you lose the value. I do not feel safe using the services within the next 60 days. If I am not using them I will lose the money that was charged to my account. This business isn’t willing to extend the period where clients can use services they paid for due to the pandemic. All I’m asking for is some simple human decency, extend the period so I can get the value of the money you have taken from me. Or allow me to get a refund since I am unable to safely use your services. They claim they are working with CDC and following guidelines to ensure safe business practices, but what about people that don’t feel comfortable? People that are at high risk? I also had my account frozen for two months, but outside of that they were another 4 to 5 months where I have been a unable to cross state lines to my home location to use their services and they refused to make any exception or help me in any way. It seems almost shocking to me that for a few hundred dollars they are not willing to go the extra mile and help their clients or try to retain a long standing client in anyway during the most unprecedented crisis our nation has ever seen. It seems more likely that they would be able to maintain their business if they would work with their clients but this company is atrociously unwilling to do so.
Massage Envy Burlington has been ON POINT with handling any of my concerns about having a service that requires close contact and made me feel safe in all my experiences. Everyone, from the person who greets me when I come in to the masseuse who Im scheduled with, is friendly, professional and makes me feel like Im important to them. I look forward to every appointment I have, especially if Im able to get on Jenny G.s calendar! The add on services like aromatherapy and the rapid muscle release treatments are well worth the $10 costs and a must for my neck after sitting in front of a computer for the majority of ny days.It used to be Calgone, but now I think, Massage Envy, take me away! 😌

Dee is the best. There isn’t a single negative thing I could say about her. I saw someone else for years and thought he was great but he left. I tried a few other people and wasn’t thrilled but my husband saw Dee and he suggested I try seeing her too. What a difference! I have a lot of issues and she manages to find and work them all. She’s super sweet, too.
My massage with Katie was better than awesome. Katie is a master with her abilities! She is very experienced and VERY busy. She is so good it is very difficult to get an appointment with her. I look forward to my next massage with Katie!
Katie is fantastic. She really knows how the muscles in the human body work. I have arthritis and get really bad knots in my back that Ive never had any other massage therapist be able to get out. But Katie found knots in my thighs that released the knots in my back. I also loved that she asks you to point out the exact areas that are causing you pain. Most therapists usually just want to know a vague area to work on like lower back or shoulder blades and can sometimes miss the worst spots. Shes really great at what she does. I highly recommend her especially for those like me that get massage for medical reasons.
COMPLETE RIPOFF!!! I recommend Elements Massage in Burlington!!! I cancelled my session well within the cancellation period. The following week I noticed that $95.00 had been withdrawn from my bank account. I called and was told by the front desk staff that the assistant managerJennifer would issue a refund. I called several days later as no refund had been issued and was told that Jennifer was not available but that she would return my call. My call was never returned. I left a voicemail several days later. I then visited the establishment to try resolve this matter. An employee named Robyn rudely informed me that she was the main manager, that the computers were inoperable and she had no record of my cancellation so she would not be issuing me a refund. Needless to say, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! This has been anything but the relaxing experience I was promised when I booked the appointment.Update: Corporate never responded to my complaints, despite their offer below. I filed for fraud at the bank where my card was from and Massage Envy did not challenge the chargeback. I am completely disgusted with a company so unethical that I had to go through so much time and effort to recover the fraudulent charges. I am very happy with their competitor ELEMENTS MASSAGE IN BURLINGTON. ELEMENTS MASSAGE is professional and no there is no hard sell pushing over-priced skin care products, etc. A friend of mine who got a gift certificate to Massage Envy told me that her masseuse apologizes and says the employees are required and pressured into hard sells for their high-margin products that are comparable to one’s costing one third the price at Sephora. Do not get scammed by this company like I and many other reviewers did.
Zero customer service. Was told that there was no membership under my name although they’ve been charging me monthly. No customer service at all. Online booking requests were never followed up on. Unable to book appointments in a timely manner although the last time I was there a high school classmate of the receptionist made a same day appointment. All of this followed by being told I am not allowed to cancel my membership. Not once did this location apologize for their vast array of errors. Maybe you should pay your front desk staff more and you’d be able to employ someone slightly customer service oriented.

I have been trying to get information on how to cancel my subscription since the pandemic began back in March as I am just no longer comfortable receiving the service. Id imagine a lot of people now find them self in a similar situation which could not have been anticipated pre COVID. They ignored my early requests for information and then in June after multiple calls into the branch I was able to speak to Fran who was very nice and did guide me to the form which I needed to fill out and to submit in order to process my request. I submitted my form on 6/29 and then noticed on 6/30 that my account had been charged again for my subscription. I called today and spoke with Jen to explain the situation and ask if they would be providing me with a refund to be told that my form was filed AFTER the date so my only option would be to use the service. I explained again that I was not comfortable receiving the service and asked if there was anything else they could do for me ( like let me use it to purchase product, transfer the massage to someone else, just a few thoughts of how they could have leaned towards humanity) since a refund was not an option. I ended up hanging up the call and calling my credit card to dispute the charge.Sharing this experience as I feel very taken advantage of by Massage Envy and I view this as extremely poor customer service and hope no one else has the same experience.
They never pick up their phones, and if you try to schedule online there is never an appointment available. I drove down to the studio to see if I could make an appointment in person since I can’t get a call back or one online. The studio was closed even though the sign said they should be open. Unacceptable. What is going on here?!
Horrible customer service and Shady chargesHorrible customer service, I was a loyal customer and made frequent appointments. They cancel appointment frequently and often an hour before the service is supposed to happen. Today they cancelled an appointment at 9 that is supposed to be happening at 10:00. This is about the 5 time this has happened within a short period of time.This week there was an administrative error and I was given the wrong time for an appointment. I obviously did not call or show because I was given the wrong time. I asked for an evening appt as I always do and they gave me an appointment in the morning. They called I explained this and the woman at the front desk said she would speak to the manager and see what she could do. No call, and a $45 charge on my card. I went in and asked for a manager, the staff said that she would call me. No call, the next call I get is that a massage therapist is canceling on me an hour before the appt. I asked about the issue they blamed me for not knowing their hours and that their personal staff hours that I should know they wouldn’t book an appt at that time...The therapists and estheticians are great it’s the administrators that have poor customer service.

It was so unfortunate that you were unable to resolve this matter because as you stated you have over “2000 members and there is nothing that you can do for me.” At the end of the day, it was exactly what I believed, I am just a number and the lack of customer service being unable to navigate between policy, miscommunication, and satisfying a customer has been noted. After sending the email below, I was shocked that you stated “What would you like me to resolve?” That’s a pretty arrogant and bold statement considering you clearly understood the customer expectation. Fighting with customers who have indicated that they would like to stay if this is resolved, keeping the customer for the next 10 years is quality customer service but the lack of service and basic reasoning tells me everything. I have no option but to cancel at this location. Again, this experience and level of service are opposite of all my previous ME experiences. The way i was treated, like a number is a reflection of the level of service that was provided first by Jen, and then ultimately you. Do i enjoy my massages at ME, yes, are the therapist great, yes, is this location the best for customer service, not yet, at least my experience if that matters anymore. I got my membership almost 1 yrs back with this location. Till date I am unable to schedule a single therapy session with therapist from this location. I am left with the choice to go to other location to get my message done.Getting front desk to pick up the call becomes bit challenging, it always goes to voice mail. Not sure whats going on there

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. They lied to my mother and told her her account would be canceled before pay period when it never was! They wouldn’t even tell us the corporate email to get a hold of someone higher up. They kept telling me to go on the website and get it. You can’t look on your website for me and tell me an email? My mom has also requested a manager to call her for weeks. At first she was “out for the day” and then the story turned into “she’s on vacation for a week”. Wow. the person on the phone actually hung up on me after calling her out for all the BS. This place is a SCAM and will do anything to take your money and leave you in the dark.
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. After a system error my credit card ended up on someone elses file for months and they accused me of lying, I continued my yearly membership (mistake). They made cancelling so difficult and after filling out the cancellation form they STILL CHARGED ME!! They did not file my cancellation form and manager Robyn said it was again system error and there was nothing she could do about it. To manager Robyn: your terrible. You should never be able to deal with customer service.
Miguel was excellent as always! Being a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, massages are a must for me. I look forward to those 90 minutes each month.
Very difficult to get appointments. Most therapists will not do deep tissue. If they say they do some deep tissue, they probably mean they don’t do any. I had a therapist tell me I really wasn’t that tight and that deep tissue didn’t seem necessary while my PT has told me that my IT bands are very tight. To get an appointment with a good deep tissue therapist, you need to book 2-3 months out. Though they gave advanced notice, I also had issues with therapists cancelling appointments over the summer. The Boston Message Envy I went to recently had much better service and availability of appointments with quality therapists. I’m also much happier with the on-demand appointments I can get at the Burlington mall.
I went here for about two years... I had been at the Stoneham location for two years as well...I was a regular customer going routinely every week same night ; same therapist... who was PHENOMENAL.. Im giving them one star because there customer service is deplorable!!Even the manager was rude! They continued to charge me after I told them verbally I wasnt coming back!After having been a customer for soo long they suddenly changed the way they schedule clients and I was inadvertently not scheduled for a month and they had an OH WELL attitude about it.. needless to say I took my business elsewhere!! I now go to SKIN TO SOUL IN WOBURN...much better experience!!!
Burlington location is always super friendly and helpful! Sarah was fabulous! Very good at finding problem areas! Cant forget the foot massage! My next 3 appointments are already booked! 💜
I felt very safe. My temperature was taken, and hand sanitizer given. There were no other clients that I saw.The massage was wonderful, as always!
Maddie absolutely demolished my incessant back pain from my pregnancy. I stood up carefully after and was in AWE that I wasn’t in pain. I immediately re-booked with her!

Their business model is set up to SCAM people out of payment’s. They make it difficult to cancel memberships, not contracts, membership. Customer service was condescending and rude. As far as the actual messages, it’s very hit or miss. I can’t speak for other Message Envy’s, but the Burlington location is a shop vac (su*ks and bl*ws)
There are so many great therapists to choose from! Jenny, Miguel, Lisa and Ken are all excellent... I feel so lucky to have found this place!

POOR BUSINESS, LIES AND TRICKING CUSTOMERS.... I reached out to Massage Envy Burlington in the height of the COVID in April 2020. The manager responded to my emails in which I expressed concern and desire to cancel my account due to the extreme circumstances were currently in with the pandemic. She refused to cancel but said they would freeze my account until July. Upon my insistence, manager Robyn Dillon agreed to cancel my membership out of term once the freeze period was over (my faccount freeze would be overin July). She also asked if I would like to extend the freeze period (she did not say that I had to extend the freeze period in order to cancel my account-- well get to that further down). When late June came, I contacted Massage Envy Burlington again explaining that my freeze period was about to end and the pandemic was still happening and I wanted to proceed with cancelling my membership. Fran helped me (the only nice and professional personal who has helped me at ME) and provided the cancellation form. I got a call a few weeks later from one of the ladies at the front desk saying I needed to update my payment info. so they could charge me. I explained that I had already cancelled my membership. She said thats impossible because it was out of term. I explained that I had already handled it with the manager. Sje apologized for the confusion and I thought that was that. A week later, the assistant manager called and told me no you cant cancel out of term and need to pay. She was extremely rude, uncaring and disrespectful of the fact that manager Robyn Dillon had already agreed to cancel my membership out of term. When I forwarded my emails with Robyn, this assistant manager (who said the manager was away) said that Robyn has offered to extend my freeze period which I didnt respond to.... this is trickery! I was told that at the end of my freeze period they would make an exception to cancel (not with a disclaimer that I had to freeze the account not once! But 2 times!) It makes no sense. Im respectfully asking that Massage Envy manager stick to their word and respect that they already made a commitment to cancel my membership out of term.
The services at the facility are fine, the customer service by the Burlington, MA location are horrible. To be threaten and hung up are unacceptable practices. There are too many other quality massage businesses for the public to have to put up with this type of service. If I could have given a negative score, I would have.

Massage envy in burlington mass.Case of discrimination.... I have filed a complaint against them with the BB.I am also going to the news and newspaper.. This needs to Stop..They took my money for over 1 year. I want all my money back.. You cannot use discrimination against a handicap person...I am handicap person in a wheel chair. I. Have a membership with them for over 1 year. They never refused me at first. But last Friday March 9.. 2018 I got a call from them that I no longer could come for massages.Why due to my Handicap. This is called Discrimination!!!!They said it was because they could not or would not help me. With anything. Meaning help me wth my shoes or getting up on the table. First I can do a lot for someone who is handicap. I dress and undress myself. I was told that this the Law..I have looked into this so called law. I have not found one!!!May be they need to look into their cases of sexual misconduct in many of their branches.This unacepptable . I am letting everyone know DONT GO TO MASSAGE ENVY. THEY SEE TO HAVE MANY ISSUES WITH DISCRIMATION AGANIST HANDICAP PEOPLE. NOTHING IN THEIR PAPER WORK STATES ANY OF THIS.I AM GOING SUE THEM FOR DISCRIMNATION.JESS

Katie is an outstanding massage therapy technician who quickly troubleshoots tight muscles and releases them, providing weeks of relief.
They cancel massages all the time. 3 times in a row most recently, yet I still get charged monthly.
