Tracy Roberts is phenomenal!! Such beautiful, natural blonde highlights!! They grow out so smoothly - no one ever suspects I color my hair whether it’s been 3 months or 6 months. She takes care to keep my hair very healthy - I have never had her over-process it and she has great styling recommendations!!

The hair stylists here are so kind. I take my elderly client here and they even called to check up since they hadn’t seen her in a while. The front desk staff are friendly and patient with us. Very pleasant vibe

As an Aveda salon, the offer great array of products — and work with me around my gluten-allergy and past reactions I have had to some Aveda products. Definitely recommend

100% this is the place to go. The entire experience is exactly what every girl getting their hair done should experience. Brianna J did my balayage and I couldn’t have asked for a better turn out. Not only that, she was so sweet, the conversation was nice, I got a massage chair 💆‍♀️ when getting my hair washed- 10/10. You won’t be disappointed!!

I’ve been going to Dolce Lusso for several months now and have always had a wonderful experience! I usually see Robbie, he’s very friendly and has helped my hair so much after having it fried by a stylist at another salon. He’s been out on medical leave so I saw Emma today and would also highly recommend her. She was very sweet and did a wonderful job with my highlight and cut. (She also gives the best scalp massage during your wash.) Can’t recommend these two enough!

I have been going to Dolce Lusso on Park Rd for almost 5 years now. My stylist is Scott and he delivers on EXACTLY what I want every time! I thought I had healthy hair when I started going here, but boy was I wrong! My hair is completely different than it was (in a very good way) and it’s all thanks to Scott! I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. He is amazing!

Men’s cut price on salon website is listed at $25. I was charged $45 with no warning/explanation. Seems very sneaky. Salon needs to make an effort toward price transparency. Also, maybe utilize modern scheduling app. Phone calls frequently go unanswered.

The atmosphere at Dolce Lusso Salon is unlike any other salon. If your’e looking for a new salon and a new hairstylist Cynthia Romero is the right person for you! She’s always up to date with the latest trends. I’ve gotten a balayage and a haircut with her, she always recommends new hair products to help your hair become more healthier. Cynthia completely transformed my hair from Summer to Winter by adding caramel and blonde baby highlights. If you are in the Park Road area stop by and ask for Cynthia you won’t be disappointed!

Erin S did a great job on my hair. You should definitely ask for her when booking an appointment. She is a color expert!

I went in on Friday, April 1, 2022 and got an amazing relaxation massage by Brenda and then got my hair toned, washed and styled by Taylor. Taylor is a gem!! She’s brand-new at the salon but she has 10+ years of experience! She clearly knows what she’s doing and she has a great personality! She’s wonderful! I highly recommend her!

I have been to many places throughout Charlotte but when I say I loooooove this salon, I mean it! The staff are all so welcoming and friendly whenever I walk in, the atmosphere is very welcoming and let me tell you about the massage chairs! They turn the massage chairs on while washing your hair and I am seconds from sleep every time.I recommend to all my friends!

One of the worst experience in USA since 7 years. No value to customer at all. They just look nice on the outside but not considerate at all. They also never have any appointments. My wife had an appointment here and we were just 7-8 mins late due to crazy traffic and they refused to give service. It was important as we had an event the next day. Usually they have 15 mins grace but were very rude to not consider at all. I have never seen such arrogance from a Salon. Never going back there, ever.

I go to the Park Road site. Im a hair idiot. I dont know the colors, terms, ins and outs that many do. I just know my hair is very fine and I have an entire pasture of cow licks. I went to several recommended stylists and spent a small fortune and came out looking like Alfalfa from Lil Rascals. My friend recommended me to her stylist at the same salon. I took in photos. She looked at my hair, looked at the photos and told me she was not the one to cut my hair. She then introduced me to Robbie, who is now my go to person. Ive thrilled with my haircut. He gets me and my hair and I really appreciate his attention to detail.

The receptionist, Ana, was incredibly helpful and polite when I called to setup the appointment. I asked a lot of questions when I called and I had a difficult calendar to work around but Ana was more that helpful and kind. The hairstylist, Cody, was awesome and very friendly. I love how my hair turned out and will definitely be booking future appointments with Cody.

Awesome staff. April was a pleasure and did an amazing job on my hair - make an appointment today!! I also had my eyebrows waxed by Sarah (I believe - cant fully remember) but she did the best brow Ive ever had, plus its surprisingly affordable. You guys, the wash chair gives you a light massage as you are getting your hair washed!! How cool is that!?! Totally recommend this Salon, and you must ask for April!! And, Sarah, if you need those brows touched up. 😁

I have curly hair (somewhere between 3a and 3b) and have been searching for YEARS for a good hair stylist in Charlotte. My friend, who has 2b/2c wavy/curlyish hair has been getting great haircuts from Robbie, so I finally scheduled an appointment with him as well. This is the first time in over 5 years that I feel like I got THE haircut that I went in to get. Curly hair is difficult to cut well, and admittedly, I am also picky. Robbie did such a superb job though. He really listened to what I wanted, did his best to make it happen, and definitely succeeded. He was also kind and has a great sense of humor, which made the experience nice as well. Im just sad it took so long to find him!

My stylist Robbie Murphy moved here recently and I followed him gladly. However I had never been to the salon before, so was hopeful it would be a good spot. Ive been pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Place is clean, Social distancing is in place but doesnt feel awkward and prices are right in line with what Im used to paying. Plus I love the plaza the salon is located in.Great salon... see my favorite, Robbie, and enjoy!

12 years old. I went there (first time) for side swept bangs and thats exactly what I got!!! I walked into the salon feeling a bit tired, but when energetic Meredith greeted me I woke right up! I cant even begin explain how much I loved the experience~ not to mention the back-massaging, hair-washing chairs! The customer service is amazing, if there was a word better than amazing, I would write it. If youre thinking about getting a worthy haircut, go to Dolce Lusso Salon!!! (I went to the location at Park Road in Charlotte)P.S. I love my hair!!!

UPDATE : I called the salon today (9/21) since they did not reach out per the response below. Apparently the response was written by the social media manager and they did not pass along to the manager to respond. The person I spoke to apologized. She offered a different service (which I did not accept as I would not feel confident getting hair/nails or any other service done) but no refund. I was able to get a 2nd haircut at a different salon - HUGE shoutout to Salon 8. They made it more symmetrical, less severe, and more blended. Obviously it is still far shorter than requested. If you have ever breastfed or cared for an infant you know how big of a deal it is that I am not able to pull my hair back in to any type of ponytail.Original Post : I got a terrible haircut there yesterday with Scott. I have a newborn so to be honest once we discussed what I wanted I wasnt paying much attention since I had been up all night. I regret not catching his mistakes earlier. We discussed that I wanted a trim but wanted to keep it long, long enough to put in a low ponytail (he explicitly said collarbone length minimum). I did not ask for layers but did ask for him to thin it out a bit since I have very thick hair. The entire process was a whirlwind and SUPER RUSHED. He did not even show me my hair in the back before leaving which I dont think has ever happened before for me at any salon?I walked out with 1 sharp unblended layer in the back and really short hair framing my face. Some pieces were almost as short as my cheek bones.I own that I should have watched him more closely but this morning I called to see if they could do absolutely anything. It is a very juvenile looking haircut, but worse it is not functional for my lifestyle at all. When I talked with the receptionist she was not apologetic or accommodating. I am really upset and emotional about this but was trying to keep my emotions in check on the call. I was hurt that there was not an apology or eagerness to correct. That is what made me write a review before giving them a chance to fix it (I requested an appointment to go tomorrow).I am in tears.

Lindsey has been cutting my hair for years. Ive been to multiple Dolce salons, and I love the new location @ park road. The layout and design is awesome. The whole atmosphere is very positive. Ive recommended multiple and multiple of people including my whole family to Lindsey and all have left satisfied. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely loved this new location! Lindsey is fantastic. I went to her with a hair emergency because of a previous bad dye job. I was upset and felt like nothing could be done to fix it but Im so thankful I went to Lindsey! She fixed my hair completely and now it looks better than ever! Great environment too. Very modern salon and the room they put you in while your hair is being dyed is very calming. I would highly recommend this location and Lindsey especially!

This was my first haircut since the pandemic, and it was a wonderful experience! Eli was absolutely amazing, and great to talk to during my cut. They listened to my hair needs and delivered exactly what I asked for. The salon was clean, and everyone was wearing masks and social distancing. I also noticed that the stylists were sanitizing every surface they touched after a client. Thank you again Eli, I will be back :)

Ive been here twice now and both times left with such subpar hair cuts that I felt it necessary to leave this review. The salon itself is lovely, but the hair dressers just are not trained to the level that theyre charging. The most recent time I went I asked for a touch up to my bangs and for my hair to be re-layered. Its been a week and I literally cannot find nor see any of the layers I asked for. She also burned my scalp while drying my hair and was far too aggressive with the brush. I really wanted the second time to work out as the people are very nice, they just dont meet expectations at all.

I came here to be a model for someone who is taking a class with them. So for full disclosure, this means the haircut was free.The space was clean and well designed. They have lockers to keep your stuff in and a coat rack as well.Lavin (my stylist) was running on time. She gave me a shampoo before cutting my hair. I was there for a round layers cut and I think it turned out great!Everyone was incredibly friendly. After the cut she dried my hair and then the instructor came over at the end to check the cut.Overall, I was really happy with the experience and would come back again for a regular haircut!

Recently went to this new location and it was absolutely beautiful. Lindsey completely transformed my very brassy blond hair. I love it! I have not had a haircut this good in a very long time. She listened to everything that I said and I walked out with exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Lindsey to anyone.

I found everything I want in a stylist when I found Christian!! He stays up to date with the current trends in hairstyling while allowing my hair to maintain a timeless look that never goes out of style! He’s honest about what my hair can (and cannot do) while taking the time to ACTUALLY LISTEN TO ME! My color looks vibrant yet natural when I leave the salon...Christian is a true gem here; I’ve found my stylist for life!

Im so happy this location is open! The salon itself is brand new, squeaky clean, mod and beautiful! Lindsey is THE go-to stylist here! I chose her because she started her stylist education at an actual Aveda Institute (which is rare!). She is easy to talk to and will listen to what you want. Its apparent she stays up to date on her continuing education, because all of her work is on trend and beautiful. She does amazing balayage! She has also worked along side some of the nations top stylists at NY Fashion week! She is truly the gem of this salon. I highly recommend!

I came into the salon on a whim to see if they could pair me with someone to fix my hair (because I was very unhappy with a recent cut from another salon). They fit me in 2 days later and I was nervous because establishing a new stylist can be tough…needless to say I am super happy I took a leap of faith to try someone new and looking forward to my next appt for both cut and color! I have never had such a flawless experience getting my hair done. My stylist Pinelopi was clearly skilled, professional, and an absolute expert. Everything I asked for she was able to execute better than I imagined. The products she used were great and her balayage technique made my hair lightening look absolutely natural. The personal touches of the experience, like the hair washing bowls moving to hit your neck comfortably and the relaxing processing room made the little annoyances of getting your hair done a non-issue. Not to mention it’s an Aveda spa so you can ensure all the products are cruelty free! If you are in the Charlotte area and need your hair done, I would highly recommend making an appointment at Dolce Lusso!

Christian has been cutting my hair for years and does an excellent job! Hes a top notch stylist and executes your vision while also steering you in the right direction that matches your hair type. The salon itself is very nice, new, and clean!

Ive been going here now for about a year to see Scott. He does great work with cuts and color. But it is the most recent experience that I decided to write a review. I went in for a balayage treatment and the look turned out great. But the toner didnt take all the way up so it created a brassier look. I called them back two days later, and they were responsive and scheduled me the next day to address my concerns. I really appreciate their customer focus and will continue to go here.

He does exactly what I want, but gives his honest suggestion when I ask. Ive also received several hair cuts from him and they are amazing! Its taken me forever to find someone that can give me a healthy cut without leaving me in tears from losing length! A+++++

I recently visited this salon and Im pretty content of how my hair turned out to be.The only reason Im adding this review is because of my hairdresser. This person had a strong cigarette smell on their hands and as they were doing my hair, I felt very uncomfortable as I am a non-smoker. Aside from that, it just showed how unprofessional they were.But bottom line, Im content with the result but I truly hope they can reinforce some professionalism.

I use to go to the Dolce Lusso in Ballantyne (my stylist moved away after 5 years) now I go to the Park Road location. This salon delivers time and again. Lindsey is amazing with cut and color.While my cut doesnt change often, I vary my color between fall/winter and spring/summer. I love Aveda color & always get compliments.I love the blue malva shampoo in the summer to keep my blonde hair looking great never brassy and the black malva in the winter. I really like the volumizing tonic and the hair spray.

I go to April Robbins. She is AWESOME! Always right on point with my color! Has lots of dimension and natural looking blonde color. It is a beautiful salon, modern and clean! Ask for April you won’t be disappointed!

They dont know how to treat a client.I had a 7pm appointment last night. I showed up early. I was checked in. I asked a question about an Aveda flyer I had received and was told the receptionist would have to check with someone else. They then had me sit for 20 minutes. No one ever got back to me on my question, never informed me the stylist was running late, basically never bothered to say a word to me for 20 minutes. I walked out and got a call 10 minutes later asking if I was returning for my appointment. I wont be returning for my appointment of for anything else from this establishment.

Been coming here for several months all the staff is awesome except for cynthia she is really unprofessional and does not care about keeping your hair’s integrity

Eli did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair. She wanted to donate her hair and it was so easy. My daughter walked out of there rockin the haircut of her dreams. She said Eli is the only one allowed to cut her hair ever again! she can’t wait to go back! ❤️❤️❤️

They are very inconsiderate for the customer, made me reschedule my appointment 3 times just because i was 10 minutes late. Also, stylists are not informative enough.. i would not recommend this place at all.

I used to be completely weary of skincare in general- but having been using Kaelee as my esthetican for over a year now & she is amazing... I go to her for all my facial & waxing needs. This new facility they built is a perfect fit for the park road neighborhood.. warm & welcoming. I would recommend anyone to check these guys out!

Another Aveda location for Dolce Lusso - and in a much easier to get to location from uptown. Some of the best hair people in Charlotte and a large selection of Aveda products to prevent you from ever having to set foot back in South Park Mall. First class salon with amazing staff.

Apparently customers feedback isnt important at this establishment. I have requested to speak to a manager for 3 days now. No one has returned my call. Still waiting and quite astonishing that a salon in this area has cared less. Sincerely, a very frustrated customer that will never be back.

This rating is only for brows. I hate leaving bad reviews but my eyebrow wax and tint was so terrible.i went home and cried. That was the only time i had ever been there as my usual spot was booked and it will be my last. Unfortunately i emailed and sent pictures afterwards and never received a reply.
