Exemplary experience for both myself & my daughter, from the time we walked in the door until the moment we left. All the little details were well thought out: ponytail holders in the bathroom, provided body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the shower & locker rooms, multiple teas to choose from, various lotion scents & music choices in our treatment rooms, we didn’t hear conversations or outside noise in the hallways while receiving our treatments… the list goes on. Not to mention the fabulous massage & facial we had. Easy check out and membership options, but no pushy sales people. Such a great experience from start to finish. It was my daughter’s first facial and she can’t wait to return. Thank you for making her day, Spavia!!

The whole Spa experience was excellent. It was relaxing from the time we got there.Killian was amazing and she immediately assessed what I needed work on.I have a lot of stress in my life and my muscles dont relax. I especially have trouble in my neck and shoulders. I asked for deep massage and she nailed it.I have felt so good today and I will definitely like to have her do massages forme in the future.My daughter also enjoyed her massage . The relaxing music, the quiet room was so needed for us both. Where do I start amazing customer service from the first phone call to walking out from my appointment!! Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel so welcome. The staff listen to my every need and more. I booked a massage to relieve some stress from losing my mother and Lilly did a fantastic job. If I’m ever back in town I will for sure booked again.

Daché was absolutely fabulous! I would come back just because of the great impression she left. She was communicative, caring, compassionate and extremely kind. She explained everything and asked questions which clarified for me she was listening and understood what I said. Her technique really released all the tension in my muscles during my deep tissue massage and she recommended what type of treatments I should get in the future to help with my soreness. She was ever so graceful and I just really appreciated her because I was somewhat anxious at first. Daché is a Godsend and anytime I return I will ask for her!

My lovely wife, Sherry, took me for a couples massage for our anniversary a month or so ago, and today She booked us both a massage. My lower back has been extremely bad, and I had SUMMER as my Therapist! Unbelievably Fantastic! She focused exactly where I am having issues. This has clinched me as a regular NOW. Walter.

I had the most amazing facial yesterday (04/10) with Meagan! She made sure I was comfortable and met my skins individual needs. She gave me great advice and product recommendations for my daily skincare routine. I love the clay mask that she recommended, which I was able to conveniently buy at the spa.I highly recommend adding Dermaflash to your facial. My skin feels so soft and clean. When scheduling online I would 10/10 recommended booking with Meagan!

I had a 90min massage with Alexandra (same name :)) It was Fantastic! I come from Columbus OH where Spavia has a good market of customers - me being one of them - and I must say that the standard of “spa treatment” here is UNSURPASSED by any other salon/spa chain. Ohhh where do I even begin? What an enchanting place. Spavia is everything that I knew it would be from my first Insta lurk. Ive been peeping it for a while. Waiting for a bad review and there hasnt been one. You wanna know why? ITS AMAZING!!!!! (Oprah Voice). I came on a whim. No booking and they accommodated me as the days I wanted were full. I was whisked into a chocolate, dreamy, oasis.Lets start with the sweet front desk staff that are easygoing, polite, professional, and upbeat. They answered all my questions and even provided insight into their monthly memberships for rejuvenation and relaxation. I was ushered to the quiet area that was dimly lit with a beautiful fireplace and various teas which enhanced and calmed my already giddy inquisitive nature. There is filtered cold and hot water if you prefer to bring your own.The womens changing area was clean and pristine with changing rooms, a shower, a lavatory, and generous female amenities (hair ties, mints, deodorant, hairspray, blow dryer. Cotton balls, q-tips, etc, and the most luxurious chocolate robes with matching slippers to help you ease into a relaxful bliss. Im plus size (3x) and they even were able to easily accommodate me. That alone was a plus. This was well thought out and executed. The halls are illuminated with flameless candles and are dimly lit to further set the tone. The warm neck pillows are the icing on the cake. They help you easily decompress and alleviate tension.The rooms are quaint and furnished with chocolate-matching decor, weighted blankets, soft sheets, and enthralling aromatherapy. The best part is the HEATED ELECTRONIC TABLES. Yeah, you heard me. No detail was left unturned. The tables are elegant and modern. Very sturdy so plus-size people please feel comfortable knowing that it wont collapse or shift when you move. There are a plethora of rooms, including those for couples and esthetician services for a rejuvenating facial. I hear they offer body Wraps but I didnt request that service.I absolutely loved my experience. I know what kind of massage I like and the pressure too. They can accommodate. While I was leaving they were getting busy which tells me this gem wont be a secret much longer.I do have breaking news though. THEY NOW TAKE HAS and FSA cards. I was able to use my HSA card for the massage whilst another used her FSA. Do remember that you should get a receipt incase they ask and double check to make sure that massages are covered in your medical reimbursement account.I have already booked my next massage. Give them a try! Youll be glad you did.

The entire experience was amazing, from booking the appointments for my wife and I, to check-in, to the actual treatments themselves (Killian and Ericka were amazing!!!), everything was top notch and I could not have been more impressed and pleased with the overall experience. We will definitely be back in the future!

Great service from the time I walked in to the time I left. It was clean facility. Nice ambiance. Loved the complimentary robe and sandals. Had a massage by Lizmary and she done a great job and I will be back to see her.

This was my first time at Spavia. Everything was easy and wonderful! I called for a same-day appointment and I was thrilled to get one with a therapist for a deep tissue massage. I was greeted by staff who helped me complete my profile and took me to the waiting area. The bathrooms/changing area are very nice and I was given a locker.My MT MyAra was on time and took me to a room to a wonderful spa room. We talked about focus areas and then MyAra gave me the best massage that I have had in a long time.I will definitely be back for more appointments!Thank you,Karyn Love

I tried this place on a Groupon and it was worth it. Kind of a far drive from uptown for me, but I liked the ambiance, luxury robes, slippers and how clean and modern the place is. I do wish they had a more relaxing music to put me to sleep and the massage person I had(I forgot her name) was good and checked in with me on type of pressure I liked and what areas to focus on. I think a great massage is relaxing and relieves the tension in the areas while feeling so good you can fall sleep - no talking. I didn’t get a membership, hesitant to try the facials and I don’t want anyone messing up my skin. But I would recommend people to try here once and see if they like it. I’d love to know other areas in Charlotte I can get top notch quality massage- like experienced and licensed and knows exactly what they are doing. Not sure if it’s because I had a Groupon I didn’t get the best. But i would come again and try without a Groupon.

The entire team is phenomenal front the moment you step inside Spavia. My massage therapist was knowledgeable and relatable. He cared about what was important to my body. He listened to my body. This is crucial to me since I sit at a desk all day long.

Ericka is phenomenal. That was the most relaxing facial I’ve ever had. I love that she remembers so much about me and asks me how my son is doing with track and field in addition to be amazing at her craft. Those touches mean so much.

Today was my first visit at this spa and let me tell you it’s everything. The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing and it’s top notch. Listen so yourself a favor and book Karen for your facials.. Karen is totally amazing and I’ve had many facials, but this by far is the best facial I have ever had. 5 stars to the team at Spavia. I’m a forever customer now!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I dont write reviews often, but this experience was the worst customer service I have EVER received. I bought three of their groupons for a surprise 30th birthday spa day for my bestfriend, and had called and spoken with a representative earlier in the day to confirm they could get all three of us in on the Saturday we would like to come (and mentioned I was planning to purchase their groupon for this). The representative confirmed the time they could get us in that Saturday and I told her I would confirm with my friends and get back to her. After confirming the time, I purchased the groupons and called back to officially schedule. I spoke with another representative who then tells me that they dont schedule groupons on the weekend, so I explained I had spoken with someone earlier and she did not flag that this would be an issue. She said she would speak to her manager and call me back. I waited about 30 mins and re-read the terms on groupon, and there was nothing on the groupon that said you were not able to redeem on the weekend. So, I call back and go through the story with another representative, and was told that they can not book groupon massages on the weekend, and that I couldnt purchase more the one groupon per person (which I didnt... the groupon terms state that you can purchase one for yourself and up to 2 as gifts, attached a screenshot of the fine print). I asked her if there was a work-around since nothing had stated this online, and she got snippy with me and said there was nothing she could do unless I wanted to get a refund for my groupon and book straight through them. Then I explained that I was very unhappy with this customer service experience, as 3 new customers and potential returning customers, I would think they would work around this issue to make it right, especially since they did not put anywhere on their groupon listing that you couldnt redeem on the weekend. The rep HUNG UP on me. Absolutely flabbergasted by this experience and would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere if this is how they treat their customers.

Brandi gave me the best massage OF MY LIFE! I have had massages various places but from moment one through the end, I had the best ever experience.Taijsha did an amazing facial and I feel so refreshed!

I choose this score because when I first entered the spa the greeting was warm and the smiles were really big. Also I have never been to a spa where they really cater to all of your needs. I was shocked when the lady gave me forms to complete and they were all about things I wanted or didnt want while I was being serviced. Also most places I have been do not give out robes or slippers I really enjoyed myself.Dache was my massage specialist and lets just say she knows exactly whats she is doing she was really nice and she did a amazing job. I cant wait to come back with my friends next month I didnt know spavia offered group massages until dache informed me. I highly recommend spavia

My facial was amazing. Meghan was very gentle, gave informative information aboutmy skin and suggestions on what I should do next. I purchased the products that she suggested and will continue to see her on a regular basis

My husband and I had the worst 2 massages we have ever had here today! The spa was nice, clean & comfortable and the staff were very nice. However our experience left me wondering if the therapists were even licensed.My therapist did not rub or massage me at all. It was the strangest massage I’ve ever had and we get at least 1-2 massages per month. She would just push on 2 areas at once with her fingertip like she was trying to do trigger point work or she would just rest her entire hand or forearm in one area, sometimes vibrating her arm like she was trying to do energy work, neither of which I asked for. I left in more pain then I came in and I felt very cheated and disappointed. The only time she rubbed me was she did like 2 strokes on each leg, then on each arm then she did some very painful stretching on my arms and hyperextended my elbow at one point. I’ve had hundreds of massages and this was the first time I couldn’t wait for it to be over.My husband said his massage was inconsistent, she was kind of all over the place and he asked for deep tissue but she basically just rubbed lotion on him with zero pressure.The women were very very nice, but not good therapists.We had to book massages somewhere else tomorrow. I hate we had such a bad experience because it is a nice place. The therapists were either not licensed, were brand new or were just tired because it was the end of the day.This was a complete waste of $261 for two 60 min massages. Very dissatisfied!

The spa was wonderful; we loved our facials. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff was kind and provided great customer service. If we are ever back in the area, we will be in contact. Me and hunny went for a relaxing massage and facial Jesse and Afton were superb!!!! and the other ladies ( I didn’t catch there names) that did hunny’s massage and facial he absolutely enjoyed! My husband and I recently had our first couples massage. It was also our first time at Spavia and it definitely will not be our last. We needed our clinicians to wear a mask because of health limitations and they were more than willing to accommodate. Devante and Brandye were AMAZING. From the minute we walked in we were treated like royalty. The robes, the waiting area with warm neck compresses and hot tea and water with calming music all set the stage for our massage. Highly recommend this Day Spa!!!

Spavia, Strawberry Hill, is AMAZING!! It’s my favorite place to relax, get revitalized and rejuvenated. I always feel so genuinely relaxed when I leave after my treatment. I feel great all day. I had a facial with Megan and OMG!! She was awesome!! My skin and I felt wonderful all day. Whether you’re having a facial or a full body massage, I promise you, you will not be disappointed! Lismary provided one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Spavia provides exceptional customer service and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

I received a highly personalized treatment by a knowledgeable esthetician. She formulated a unique treatment to give me the best result and that avoided using Vitamin C. Vitamin C is in most products but I have developed an allergy to it.

My mom booked a spa day for my bday for me and 4 of my friends! This place was awesome the manager Leah customer service was excellent! My mom said she had been calling around and every other spa was very short with her of not willing to accommodate more then 2 people, Leah was the only one that was so sweet and eager to help her pull this off for me. The experience was better than we all could imagine, plush comfy robes, sandals everyone enjoyed their massage experience. They gave us our own little lounge arear and let us take our time and enjoy the cheese board we brought and complimentary Champagne they provided. They had me a little gift ready upon arrival. Definitely 10/10 and I have been to many massage places over the years and this is the best experience I ever had! Thanks a lot to everyone there, I had Brandy and I will be booking her again in the future.

Mya is the best massage therapist I have ever seen and I ALWAYS feel relaxed after the visit. She is able to find all my tension spots and relieve any knots I have. She is also very sweet and respectful and overall my favorite massage therapist I have seen throughout my many years getting massages. I have seen other therapists at Spavia previously as well and all of them have been absolutely amazing! The atmosphere of the spa is very relaxing and is the best form of self care I have experienced, I recommend Spavia to everyone I know in the Charlotte area!

This was my first experience receiving a facial and it was amazing! The clinician also advised me about my skin and skin care. The massage was also amazing! I informed the masseuse that I have plantar fasciitis and she concentrated on that foot with professionalism. It felt healing. She is super friendly, polite, respectful and knowledgeable in what she does. I believe she and other coworkers work hard. I hope Spavia rewards their employees with a cash bonus. I was booked for a massage and facial and only received the facial was in the womens retreat for over 30 minutes when I finally said something the receptionist lied and said that she didnt book me for both when I was there since 6 when I started the facial just rude and unprofessional!

Ive had good experiences here. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Janae is always personable upon arrival, which is a delight as a return customer. The sitting room is the perfect prep for relaxation. I appreciate they use an array of relaxing scents (Im allergic to lavender). I have experienced the signature massage; I always leave relaxed, refreshed and less tense. Deja is so talented and I appreciate her professionalism, experience and personality as a masseuse. For the sugar glow scrub, I prefer a more coarser texture and didnt notice immediate glow. Overall, I return because I enjoy and appreciate the staff/professionals and the services. Thanks!!

I booked a couples massage for my fiancés birthday. He enjoyed his massage, but my massage was horrible. Unique needs training. She was all over the place, talking, jumping from body part to body part, inconsistent pressure, inconsistent strokes. I mentioned the muscles I needed worked & she did not touch any of those muscles. Did not have eye mask for when I turned over. Everytime she got lotion she would rub her hands together loudly, plus she had on gloves due to a cut she stated she had. As a 7 yr massage therapist I gave her some tips for her future clients because for the price we pay for a service at Spavia ALL the therapist should be well trained, & know their muscle groups, & how to preform a basic Swedish massage. I really feel cheated out of my massage, seeing that I’m a mother of 3 I really was looking forward to relaxing. I appreciate Eugene for taking care of my fiancé properly. But I’m left feeling scammed & out of $119. I still tipped her because she seemed nervous & I encouraged her & gave her some pointers, but like what about me ya know ?

The entire staff was exceptional. They welcomed you and made you feel so special. When you book your appointment ask for either Judy or Niah. They were excellent to my wife and I and we both rate the massage we received from them 10/10. We will definitely be coming back

Scheduling is a breeze, love my massage therapist (Deja) and aesthetician (Melissa)! Front desk staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Price for membership is very reasonable. The spa is very clean and serene.

I had a spa day here today for my birthday/mothers day and it was absolutely heavenly. 10 stars if I could give it! They have a lovely womans retreat room where you can have tea and water before, after or inbetween treatments, with a bathroom, shower and lockers. Youre welcome to hang out there as long as you desire after a treatment. I had a hot stone massage with Kendra and facial with Afton, both of whom were excellent. This place also has a really affordable monthly spa membership package that I think is a really great deal. Im super happy I came here for my special day today! I highly recommend for yourself or as a special gift for someone you love.

Incredible massage, comfortable robes and lovely relaxing room. Unfortunately, the lady from the front desk came into a public area (changing room with other women in it) and asked me to clarify extremely personal information, absolutely mortifying. I had booked a massage, then detox wrap, then facial. I booked them in this order so that the facial would be last. Spavia did not notify me of a schedule change; after the wonderful massage, the next person came to get me and it was for a facial, not the body wrap. I would have cancelled if I had known they changed my schedule. So after a 70 minute Ultimate Revitalizing Lift facial, I had to put my face in a cradle for the body wrap. If I had only had the massage, it would have been 5 stars, but the bill was over $1,000 (for 2 of us), not 5 stars with the revealing of personal information in a public space and the terrible schedule change....

Im not the type of person to get regular massages, as Ive only gotten one previous to my visit yesterday. It was so relaxing and the robes are to die for. Ive been frantically searching the internet to see of theyre sold anywhere but sadly, no luck.I decided on a whim to get a massage one day and found spavia, as I didnt want a huge chain and I wanted somewhere that had great reviews. The only thing that couldve made it better was if they offered a glasss of wine while you wait, but they do offer water and hot tea

I love leaving positive reviews, and this is definitely going to be a good one. I am visiting Charlotte and got delayed a day, so I decided to treat myself to my first facial. I found this place on Groupon, but if it’s your first time they actually do a better deal on their website ;)I missed my appointment, but Lea called me and got me rescheduled almost right away. Another esthetician came in early just so I didn’t miss my opportunity before leaving town. I super appreciated that, so big brownie points for being so accommodating!The overall vibe at the Spa was very relaxing and inviting. There are private waiting rooms in the back connected to bathrooms with lockers, shower etc.. And of course they provided very comfortable robes and slippers.My esthetician, Cassidy, was great too. Two words that came to mind were meticulous and thoughtful for my facial. Not only did she come in early to make it happen for me, she did an excellent job and so if you don’t have an esthetician I’d definitely recommend her!Overall my experience felt very upscale, and that’s what I was looking for. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Charlotte!

This was an awesome experience. It was my first time getting a professional massage. I was a little nervous to have a stranger put hands on me, let alone a man that isnt my boyfriend. However, Samuel was very professional and welcoming at the same time. We had great conversation and he is very knowledgeable in his profession. The massage was very relaxing and soothing. The facility is very nice, clean and accommodating. Liked that there was a locker to put my things for safe keeping. The staff was very friendly and I liked the survey to customize my experience. Later that day I had the best sleep Ive had in a long time. So thank you, Spavia and great job!

The receptionist was very informative and welcoming. The spa was clean and smelt amazing- I walked in already feeling relaxed. Jena is someone I would highly recommend for any facial. She was very calming and attentive; began great conversation, but knew when to stop and let me relax in the moment. The environment was spot on, and quiet throughout the building. Afterwards, her recommendations for products were spot on, and was very knowledgeable, but was not pushy with trying to “sell product” like other spas do. The spa is located in a great location, and I felt safe and in a safe parking lot. Ultimately, I had great experience, and will definitely be coming back!

I was nervous about booking Spavia because of my past experience with membership based spas. Spavia blew me away. The customer service, the ambiance, and the quality of the massage were all on point. My son and I did the sports massages and Paula and Kendra were amazing. I had no intention of signing up but I couldnt leave without doing so based on my experience. The owner should be proud!

Recently checked out Spavia with my boyfriend for a couples massage which was the best experience ever! This location is so beautiful, super clean, & has the ambiance to match. The staff is amazing to say the least! I had a slight mishap with my initial appointment, where my boyfriend couldn’t make on time & they were so accommodating that we were able to reschedule with no issue. Our massage therapists, Sammi & Jamillah (excuse me if I misspelled their names) were absolutely wonderful, 100% professional, & made us feel super comfortable during our session. I highly recommend this spa! Everything about this business had us both very pleased…we can’t wait to go again!

The place is an oasis of relaxation. I loved everything about my visit. Ive never had any type of a facial, and I have only had a massage once in my 3ish years. The massage was catered to my preferences with scents that I got to choose. The massage therapist was awesome not too chatty and very in tune with my needs. The facial specialist did an incredible job with my facial. Definitely recommend you try it out sooner than later. I plan to return very very soon.

I had a 60 minute massage with Deja that was *amazing*. I left relaxed and some tender spots in my neck and shoulders loosened up. I hesitate to even share her name because she’s so great and want to be able to book another appointment with her.I enjoyed my visit so much that I signed up for the monthly massage package. I can’t wait to return! This place is a gem and I hope people will visit.

Spavia delivers! From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by bright smiles and relaxing vibes. You are then taken to a locker room where you change into a plush robe and slippers. While waiting, you are in a dark relaxing room with hot tea. I had a facial with Jena. She is the best! I appreciated how she listened to my concerns and then explained how she could help. I left with glowing skin and great products. Needless to say, I bought a package and will be returning monthly!

Everything was amazing about my experience at Spavia. The atmosphere and service made me feel relaxed and cared for the entire time. Lea was a great intro to the establishment, had me well informed and comfortable before my massage. Brian made sure all my preferences were met during my massage and I felt well relaxed afterwards. I went for a couples massage on Valentine’s Day and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever received and my boyfriend was talking about it for days saying we need to go every week. Deja & Nadyia were our specialist and I highly recommend both of them. Will definitely be back for another and definitely interested in their facial services as well.

I enjoyed a wonderful facial while my daughters had massages which they thoroughly enjoyed. Spavia is warm and quiet and calm and their staff were all extremely pleasant. And this location is extremely convenient.

Absolutely horrible service.. they left me waiting almost 30 minutes because they didnt notice my appt and then wanted to rush my service because of their next scheduled appointment. So disappointing and a total waste of time!

Lovely experience! First time in to the spa and was greeted and given a tour. Everything throughly explained. Nice, quiet relaxation room until it was time for my deep tissue massage. Jamilla was extremely professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! I even schedule a return visit! Definitely recommend.

From the start of your experience, it’s very relaxing! The robes are very plush and soft, there’s a nice relaxing room to use prior to your service, and you get your choice of music/lotion scent during your massage. The monthly membership packages are also very reasonable. I highly recommend trying Spavia!

Niah was great. She had the right amount of pressure and touch. The heated neckwear in the waiting room was relaxing, as was the calming waterfall. It’s always an overall good experience.

Only reason I chose a 9 instead of a 10 is because you dont accept Flex Spending Cards as a form of payment. Some individuals with chronic pain with prescribed medically necessary massages for pain can use there Flex Spending card to pay for frequent massages. I love everything about the company and massage therapist and would have scheduled my bi weekly massage with your company if I could use my FSA card. Aside from that it was such a relaxing environment which is exactly what I needed.

My first massage was more than I expected! I had Rebecca and she was so accommodating and made me feel so comfortable. I was able to stay in the cozy waiting room while I waited for my appointment to begin which entailed using a hot shoulder pillow, drinking some warm tea, and relaxing on the comfortable recliner. Place is nice, and comfortably decorated. Used a Groupon to check it out, and it was worth it. My therapist was very nice, but heavy handed. Im still sore. Seemed a bit rushed, so not as relaxing as I hoped. No true complaints though. Using a Groupon, I guessed I would get a therapist with the least experience.
