Family and friendly atmosphere! Very nice service and attitude. Good food you will find verity of Middle East taste. Host you next party and event here and you will not regret it. Also they host bing nights on Friday and Sunday.

Did not come with hummus and pita or sauce as listed. Tried to call and no one answered. Would not have ordered if it did not actually come with pita and hummus. Extremely disappointed.

Absolutely lip-smacking, every. single. time. They add fries for free if you show them a bit of appreciation too. I love this place 😍

This place will be my favorite in Chicago!The staff are very friendly. The Iraqi men working there welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a nice table.I went there on Saturday night, when had a DJ which was amazing!They have a charge to enter the DJ night, but they have it included with a great appetizer.The mixed grill was delicious, but the rice was not that good. The fried was good and the hummus was as well.The Dolma “ grape leaves” were not good, unfortunately!The hookah was good and clean

I walked in and was hit with a heavy haze of cigarette smoke in the atmosphere, which tells me there was no air circulation. I ask for a menu, and the man at the counter gives me one and then walks away. Another man approaches and asks me what Id like from the menu, I choose an entree, and then he charges me $3 more than what it states on the menu. I pay and was told it will take 10 minutes. I said Ill be back in as I immediately left the establishment which looked sketchy from the hookas to the barred front door, from the heavy smoke, which made me dizzy and stained my clothing, to the small portioned entree that cost $20 (not 17, as it states on the menu) 😏 I made the mistake of coming here. I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemies 😅 (Photo of my hand in comparison to the entree.

I have to give credit where credit is due, the food is quite enjoyable and tasty. My issues with this place stem from the shady customer service and their tendency to unfairly up-charge their customers. All prices on their menu are at least $5 under what they will charge you, they will serve and charge for bottled water without prompting, and when they served me rice instead of the fries I asked for with my meal, they made me pay for $10 for a little basket of mid fries. When I confronted the staff about the issue I obviously had with that, they claimed fries did not come with the meal, despite the menu clearly stating it did. The staff does not speak English and would not even try to understand when I tried explaining my issue with that, and claimed that there was no error and refused to back down. I had half the mind to just leave without paying but instead I hope this review will dissuade people from giving this place their money.

Excellent and exceptional good middle eastern food ! Clean, fresh and delicious.Highly recommended. Additionally we are doing a party for more than 100 persons and they were really helpful and accommodating they help us with a lot of decisions, and they help resolving all the problems and answers all questions. Thank you guys for everything. I will give an update after the party

If you ‘sound black’ (those who applies to know what I mean) don’t bother calling in your order for pickup- they won’t make your order until you arrive and pay. Meanwhile as I was waiting for my food, I watched multiple non-black folks instantly pick up their orders instantly upon arrival. It’s happened multiple times now so no longer dealing with this spot (and honestly the food wasn’t even all that, just was convenient for me)

5 stars, love that it’s open late, meal was delicious, portions were phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable.

The food here is home cooked and seriously my favorite Mediterranean dishes. Their Kuba, grilled chicken, fat push or taboleh salads are all AMAZING! Highly recommend

I dont understand the negative reviews, I went to this place and it was off-the-hook!! First off, the owners are very friendly and they always check on you to see if you are satisfied, and are always willing to make things right or honor your requests. Even the singers are friendly and always greet each customer. And yeah the food is worth the trip, its homemade and not frozen like the other places I have been to. The music is authentically arabesque. I am definitely going back to this place.

It is a nice Hookah/Sheesha place. They make it good runs like for an hour or couple of minutes more then an hour. Which is nice.They have a bar and good board games while you enjoy your hookah.Great service. Indid not try any food, cause it will not be a good decision.

This place is beyond amazing! The food is delicious and its always fresh. The owners of the restaurant are very sweet and very friendly, they make you feel like family every time you come in. Saturday Nights are beyond amazing and fun. The entertainment on Saturdays are always fun and the singers they bring are beyond amazing and beautiful voices. They always bring a different singer from out of state or country every Saturday so theres always someone new to listen to! I must also say the customer service is great and always helpful when your in need. Out of all the restaurants and lounges I have been to I must admit ROZANA is the best and most exciting by far! Its not expensive and its always a great time every day and every Saturday. The family and the employees are the most sweetest and generous people I have yet to meet. If your looking for a great night out, an amazing weekend, and delicious food, you must go to Rozana! I give this place more than 5 stars if I could. They also reserve special events for baptisms, engagements, birthdays and more. If you want to have a great time Rozana is the place to go to!!!

The price is NOT COMPARABLE to the food and service - too much money. In conclusion the whole experience was not good, I would never go again to this place for any reason and I dont recommend this restaurant, not even to my worst enemy.Honestly, my friends and I love to try new cuisines and flavors, and we go out for food at least twice a month. We are pretty open to all options.We decided on trying out Rozana restaurant, as we wanted to eat traditional middle eastern cuisine. We reached the place at about 8:30 PM, as we have made a reservation IN ADVANCE, we had no worries on waiting for a table. When we walked in, the staff was not friendly at all and the waitress had an unpleasant look.The place has minimal design and I wouldnt say it is kid-friendly. Even if we dont have kids, I should mention this. NOT a kid-friendly place. The place is small as it is.The menu has no certain speciality, appetizers, with no main difference. Typical main dishes you will find in every middle eastern restaurant.The service was absolutely disappointing. The waiters had extremely good mood…so good that they were DANCING, they were yelling each other and they generally made fuss annoying us. In addition they could hardly notice us when we wanted something (water, more wine, the bill etc.).

Dining at the Mediterranean with friends is one of the things I really look forward to during my every-other-year visits to the Chicago . The food is wonderful, the service is attentive, and the aura of the place is lively and friendly. And since the parking Lot is only a few steps away, we never have to worry about parking.You can also do reservations through Open Table.It has one of those rare qualities for a restaurant - consistency. The food is always good!

Went during posted business hours to find a locked door. Two people were inside, came to the door, and reluctantly let us in. Nothing on the outside mentioned that it was a hookah bar, but both of them were smoking inside despite posted signs, and the inside smelled horrible. Left before we got sick from the fumes. Menu looked expensive for the quality of the establishment, but cant comment further than that since we didnt order anything.

Read the other comments!I ordered ONLY 1 chicken platter for pick up (cost is 17 usd) and paid with my credit card.After a couple of days I was checking my credit card expenses and realized ROZANA restaurant charged me 28 usd for that chicken platter.WHY? they might have thought I would not notice it. So please always check your credit card and dont trust this place!There is no reason AT ALL for them to charge a different price.I called my bank and put the claim. Then called the restaurant and they offered me a platter on the house (are you serious? I had already paid)I just wanted my money back, I wasnt willing to pay for an unwanted dinner just because they deliberately overcharge people to make EXTRA MONEYIT IS A SHAME!Then when I read the other reviews in google, I noticed it is nothing new! they do that to other people too just to make profits!!I bet theres a bunch of people who just simple dont even check their accounts! Please do and call your banks, they will actually help you get your money back. I DID.And will never order something in this place.HATE ADVANTAGEOUS PEOPLE

I can honestly see why this place has bad reviews. I wanted to like it. However, they are just awful to customers here. I am only giving them an extra star because the appetizers were good and the shisha was ok too. First, my bf is Syrian and missed drinking yerba mate. We had found this place online and wanted to come for his birthday to enjoy yerba mate and shisha. We arrived too early. They claim online to be open from 12 pm to 2 am. Really they open after 6 pm. We ended up going to eat at another restaurant that night and we returned the following day. Keep in mind, while they sort of operate as a public establishment, they are more of a private club for their friends and acquaintances it seems. It would be a stretch to say they are open for the entire Middle Eastern community because they seem very reluctant to let in people they are not acquainted with. I definitely would not have felt comfortable entering if I did not have an Arabic speaker with me, so I agree with the girl who reviewed they only accept their own kind. Onto my main issue with this place, they brought out menus which had prices clearly written. Then, when the check came they overcharged us by $3 for one item. They also charge a 15 percent service fee and they calculate their own taxes while still expecting you to pay a tip. My bf told the girl about the $3 extra charged and she claimed the prices changed. Seems like a lie to me considering all the prices we were charged were the same as the menu except for one item. I can see if we were charged a little extra for all the items, but Im supposed to believe just one item was raised by $3. Seems like they like to just make up their own prices and did not think I would notice. Even if they are telling the truth, they should not give customers outdated menus or they should at least warn you of the raised prices before ordering. I wasnt going to argue further with them over $3, but I had to mention to them to let them know we are not dumb. I just wont return.

I dont normally write reviews but I felt like I had to write one this time. This place is just awful! We were told that we either spend a minimum of 35 dollars or pay a $15 cover charge. We spent 35 dollars each and got charged the 15 bucks on top. This place is nowhere as good as Alhambra and yet it is MORE expensive.. What a joke! Never go there. Theyll rip you off.

We went with a friend there after work. We ordered combination plate and veggie combo. On the combination plate the only thing good was chicken. The kebab was flavorless and the beef was really tough. The veggie combo was nothing, 3 piece falafel, 3 piece dolma, hummus and baba ghanoush. Dolma was spicy and we thought salad will come with it. After this we got a bill for 57 dollars. Were disappointed.

If you like a quiet, peaceful restaurant, you should avoid this place like the plague. On the other hand, if you want to experience an authentic Mediterranean-style spot, with boisterous Arabic music, and juicy Middle Eastern grill, then you should definitely pay Rozana a visit. Highly recommended.

I agree with you guys the food is horrible and I cant stand the owners because I heard some stories about them how they steal money from their own family that was sharing the business. I miss them they were nicer I dont go there anymore now. bad place they have different people trying to sing there lol. I guess its more like karaoke place they like to let anyone sing maybe I can sing there too one day.

Sitting at home today bored I thought it would be best to review all the restaurants me and my wife have attend.. Rozana Restaurant was one I visited about a week ago very random driving down Lincoln I saw it such a small place I thought it would be perfect to try some Middle Eastern food since my wife is Arabian and we never get to eat the authentic Middle Eastern food due to her mother living in Dubai. Excited walking in to eat some food after a long day of shopping there was no waiter to seat us we took a seat after standing for couple of minutes.. A old lady came to us who did not speak English well but my wife knows Arabic so we choose a kabob plate since there wasnt much options on the menu and I asked for a hookah they brought the hookah right away it was okay but the flavor burned right away I felt like it wasnt such good flavor but what really ticked me off was the food came within 10 minutes and I knew it was not fresh with the first bite the meat tasted old, the rice was cold, and the salad had no dressing.. We tried explaining this to the waiter but she couldnt understand at all she told us she was the owner when we asked for a manager since my wife isnt so fluent in Arabic the price was ridiculous for two with the hookah and just water and 2 kabob plate it came up to $65.00 and tip was already included in the check not to mention the bathrooms werent clean, no paper towels, soap, or toilet paper. The place overall is small you dont get any service nor authentic Middle Eastern food. I honestly prefer Mcdonalds instead of this place ( I dont even eat Mcdonalds) I hope they can get new chefs,waiters and overall stock up on materials for the Restaurant..

I usually go here for the hookah and swarma sandwich but i was blown by the service today. I was charged a 6 dollar fee for service. I would tip myself if i felt it right i dont appreciate the fact that i was charged a tip on my bill.

The owner of this business Luna is a thief. She ripped of a friend of mine who supplied her with many restaurant needs. She owes them a lot of money, took off with all his items and never paid him. She is a disgrace to our community. PAY your business BILLS LUNA Fakhouri
