Beware!! We sell S—- in a box store!! Went to buy a disposable vape (brand -name Hidden Hills Club) and paid $32.17. Clerk who sold it never gave us option to test out in the store. Brought it home in new package and the button does not even work. Attempted to exchange at store next day and was told final sale - or they could give us 10% toward new product - because it was tested in store prior. First and foremost - the clerk we bought it from never allowed us to test it out in the first place to make sure it worked properly!! Ended up paying for a non working product that came straight out of packaging. No refund provided and no exchange given ! What a waste of money and time.

Horrible place to shop for your smoking accessories. Go to the better one down the street! The people that work here just treat you like trash. If your product is defective or they give you the wrong stuff and you walk out that door... dont expect them to make anything right.

I love this shop. I’ve been going here for years; but lately I’ve been very impressed with the customer service provided by Delilah. It’s often right before close but she always greets me with a smile on her face, and knows exactly how to help me find what I’m looking for in the friendliest of manners. She makes showing up a little later more comfortable and not awkward. I highly recommend this shop and wishes any who shops here the chance to work with Delilah.

It was my first time in the shop and Delilah was great and helped me find a couple mushroom products. They seem to have a good selection and I would definitely come back to buy more!

I can’t speak to any of their cannabis products, but they have a very large selection of glass and smoking accessories at decent prices.

I asked for recommendations for a cartridge and a base battery for it. When I got home I found out that the cartridge was too big for the base. I went back to the store to try to return one or the other and they wouldnt refund either one because I left the store with it. What a complete rip off. I will never go back here again

One of the managers there, Jess, was an absolute lifesaver. She was extremely friendly and helped a great deal. Highly recommend this location for any smoke related needs, especially if you are greeted by Jess.

By far the best Highlife location Ive been to. Everyone working was friendly and personable. They all took the time to make me feel welcome there. Courtney seemed to know the answer to every question I asked about the products. I think shes the manager, its cool to see a manager working so hands on in their store.

I’ve shopped here a few times and Courtney is always my go to lady! She is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She has always been amazing at helping me find exactly what I need to keep me happy and wanting to come back time and time again.

Jess always has a smile on her face and asks how my day is going. She is also great at teaching the newer employees on how the shop works.

Worst experience at this location . Not sure of employee name , it’s the tall one. I get people have bad days, however he was very rude not hello how are you just not nice at all. The day before he was rude to someone I know . Don’t know if I will be back.

I cannot express how grateful, not only myself, but my roommate is for this specific store and it’s manager Courtney! We’ve been returning customers for years and after hearing how knowledgeable and savvy she is with the products we would not go anywhere else. I’m glad the old manager is gone! Courtney was made for this job.

So I just went to highlife and the time is 6:56 and it’s Jan 16th and I just had the WORST experience in customer service in my entire life. The Cornelius location cashier alone was cutting me, off rude when I was asking for products, rude when I asked about their retail products. She literally cut me off every time I started to talk! Never have I been so disappointed!! Her name is Haley. Store # 19501 west catawba ave. Management really needs to reconsider who they’re putting on their store front. I was a regular shopper but never going back to that location if that’s how to do customer service. Disappointingly sad!!

I went in a day ago to buy a disposable pen. The women very kindly helped me pick out one that would not leak and didn’t have a rep of having wiring malfunction problems, since a lot of them do. Not even a full day with it and it starts blinking and misfiring. I went in to try and get a different one and the woman was extremely rude to me when I tried to explain my situation. $45 down the drain and she had the audacity to call back after me when I was leaving saying “when you break things at Walmart do you expect them to replace it, that’s ridiculous”. Extremely unprofessional and dissapointed in their customer service.

I like HighLife theyve got good prices but not a lot of vape juice or new pods. Also will not give the price of merchandise over the phone! I go here bc they are the closest but definitely wouldnt go out my way to visit

Vape juice selection is the most inconsistent and annoying thing to deal with if you like a flavor because next time you go in it won’t be in stock and then won’t be for weeks. No blame on the staff because they let me put in a request pretty much every time (one a week) they just get random boxes on Thursday that they don’t even know what’s in them it just what higher up thinks the store needs. It’s been 4 weeks since I’ve been able to get the one I prefer.

I walked in the other day just looking for a puff bar, but then I met Scott. Too tier guy with top tier customer service. I’ve never met such a friendly worker. He really was knowledgeable of the products and helped me pick the best thing possible. If you’re seeing this, thank you Scott!

If you need spare/replacement parts for your vape, these guys probably have it. Wide selection of inventory and great customer service - Scott was friendly and quickly found the part that I needed for my vape. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

I recently worked for High Life as a full time sales associate. While I enjoyed working there and meeting new people (shoutout to Gil), my time was cut short due to having a family cruise vacation that interferes with my availability for Black Friday. I was released over a month before my cruise and was told it was because the handbook states (which DOES NOT) Black Friday is mandatory for all employees. I was told to hand in my key with no reasoning once so ever once the upper management found out about the vacation cruise. My actual store manager had known about the cruise since at least August and he had no problem with me taking the cruise. Please keep in mind, I wasnt just a regular employee. I was a Key Holder and had open/closing duties as that of a store manager would do. So that goes to show how they view their employees who work for them.Aside from this, anyone whos looking for a gig that works you full time hours, while also paying you on a below average part time scale(8.50-9.50) this is a job recommended for you. If youre looking to make some real money and not deal with workplace stress from upper management watching you constantly on cameras and verbally harassing you for quota, I suggest you look elsewhere. High Life isnt for you.People will sum this up to a disgruntled ex employee but its the truth. Dont say I didnt warn you.

WOW. Just WOW. Scott B. is literally THE MAN. I’ve been new to this hobby and when I came in vaguely knowledgeable, I left feeling like a well informed customer, felt like my needs and expectations as a customer/consumer were all met, above and beyond the call of duty.He along with Eli, who is second best there, have made my experiences shopping at this Highlife location one-of-a-kind. Scott makes sure Eli stays in line though, just because Eli just loves disposable vapes THAT MUCH.Anyhow, if you’re around this location, go check them out! They’re great!

Had to edit this review. HIGHly discourage going to this location. My past experiences have been pleasant but lately that hasn’t been the case. The service is atrocious and laughable at best. I live .3 of a mile from the location and will now be ordering my supplies by other means. 9 years of business gone. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

I came in a few days ago and I was looking at a vape for my cart and myself and Connor and sierra could not figure out how the voyage worked for it and we were all stumped. I come in a few days later they both remember and remember the issue from the other week and both knew exactly how it worked and all of it’s functions and explained it very well to me and i ended up buying it. Talk about hunting down an old sale and never giving up on it these to did very well and in my words “above and beyond to make the sale”

I’ve worked at this location of highlife since march, i absolutely loved what i did. but as of this morning i was let go. the whole situation was unprofessional. i will miss my regulars so much !

Came in to buy Pods for the Novo X, the girl working there got them for me and I asked her if those were the right ones because I didnt have my device with me and she said yes. I get home and they were too small, she sold me the wrong ones. I go two days later to exchange them and Christian the manager wouldnt exchange them because I didnt have the receipt. That is really poor management, even though the associate admitting that she gave me the wrong ones in front of the manager and he still wouldnt exchange it without a receipt. Horrible management, will never go back.

All vape juices are awful. They sold me their best two selling juices and they were awful no name brands.they also sold me the wrong pods but only could replace 2 of them because I already opened and filled up the last one. Didn’t give me a refund. Waste of 45 dollars. Take your money elsewhere please.

Would not recommend this shop to anyone, absolutely horrible customer service. Came in and bought a pipe this morning. Employee was rude then, but I didnt think much of it. Upon arriving home i notice the titanium piece had a giant hole in it. Not possible to use, completely broke. Returned to exchange said piece and was told I couldnt return it and that I was stuck with a broken pipe. Will not return, suggesting all my friends and family do the same. Horrible customer service

Will never purchase from here again! Bought a Vision Spinner II this morning and it never charged and didn’t work. Called them to just get it exchanged out for one that works and they have a strict no return or exchange on any of their batteries even though I bought it this morning? They suggest that I contact Vision directly and take advantage of their one year warranty. So I bout it this morning, never worked and I have to send it back to the manufacturer. I can’t count how many things I have bought from here and I will never return over this. Please make sure anything electronic works before you leave or you will get screwed out of your money as well.

By Far the worst customer service I have had. I work close by and it would be convenient to be able to shop there but I will not be back. As well as never recommend anyone to them.

Just came in for a .50 cent magnetic piece to attach to a Pen. They where out and didn’t have anything to compensate except telling me to purchase another 20$ pen. This place is a rip off just out for money. If they really wanted to help me they would of given me a magnetic piece from another box and simply replaced it with another magnetic piece when the shipment came in.

I recently bought my first vape from high life. Even though I’ve vaped before I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I went in and Cassalyn was able to help me find exactly what I needed! She even helped me figure out how to fill it up and showed me how to use it. I’ll definitely be shopping there again!

I called yesterday and they said they would be open until 8:00 pm in the evening and I got there at 6:50 pm their doors were locked, the time on the door said open from 10 am to 8 pm, I tugged the door and Watched someone stick their head out of a room in the back and look then go back in their office, they shouldnt tell people they are going to be open until a certain time if they are going to lock the doors early, very disappointed, very disrespectful to close early after Someone tells them they will be there. not pleased at all, will never be here again as Ill make sure everyone else I know that goes hears of this experience.

Let me start by saying that the other reviews on this page are complete polar opposites of what this store is really like.It was my first visit to this shop since I just moved to the area earlier this summer, so I really just wanted to look at their selection first. If you are looking for a smoke shop that carries everything you want, from glass pipes and papers to the newest vapes and ecigs out, this would be your best bet. Their prices are very competitive as well, even beating some online products.The girl who was working was very helpful, I was looking for a new domeless nail and rig so she walked me through all of the options I had to choose from and explained to me the pros and cons of them, even explaining to me the health benefits of each one. I ended up going with a Krave recycler and a santa cruz omni-nail.I just got home with my new piece and my new nail and they work amazingly, exactly like she described to me.I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for an easy, laidback shopping experience that is hassle-free!

WARNING TO ALL SMOKERS - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANYLOST $40, thank god it wasnt moreI went in to buy a PORTABLE VAPE, and had a handful of knowledge going in, so I talked to the employee who was very kind, and what I thought was helpful for 30 minutes. I WAS VERY WRONG. She told me that main brands like GPEN, ATMOS, etc. ( ALL COIL VAPES USED FOR OIL AND WAX) could also use BUD,PLANT,DRY, ETC. So I bought the Atmos Thermo W. I went home and as I was about to use this, my friend explained to me that TAYLOR (the employee) was very wrong and lied/had no clue what she was talking about. After an hour on the internet reading about my situation I found out my friend was 100% correct, I called to return it because I didnt use it but there is a no return policy. After 2 days of playing phone tag trying to talk to a manager. I finally get ahold of one of the managers named FRANK. As I tell him my story and what happened, he constantly is interrupting me, stops my story and tells me she was wrong and that he will talk to her, before I can even say anything in response to him ( Cause he didnt even let me explain myself at all). He says he will call me back in a few minutes, its now been 4 hours so I called them AGAIN, and he left work and the girl who picked up was the girl who sold it to me (TAYLOR).JUST A WARNING TO ALL, THIS BUISNESS IS SHADY AND DOESNT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR PROPERLY TRAINING THEIR EMPLOYEES.WILL NEVER GO AGAIN AND NEVER RECOMMEND AGAINYOUVE BEEN WARNED

I bought a 200$ peice from there . it was defected it had a hairline fracture and they sold it to me. not even a week later the 200$PEICE I BOUGHT BROKE.I NEVER BUMPED IT OR DROPED IT or anything like that and it broke where the downstem is as i was getting the bowl peice out.i called them to see what they could do .they said they could sell me one for the same price but not give me a discount or aything thing like that at all.the ladty quote on quote said=(glass breaks what do you whant me to do about it?)very rude acted like it was my fault .THEY SHOULDENT BE SELLING BROKEN PIPES WATER PIPES ECT.. Never go here! you will bew wasteing your money !
