First and foremost, why is this “hotel” still up for “reservation” when its not in “operation” any longer??? I have booked it over a month ago because I was looking for a cheap place for a night,but I got there looks like a dead building( way different from photos) and seem like infested with ghosts! It was so scary! I cant talk to anybody on the phone and so I call the booking agency , after a long wait I was informed that this hotel is already closed! So I finally setteled in a nearby hotel and the person told me about that particular hotel has ben closed over 6 months now! Why the hell its still up for booking just a month ago???Please whoever is responsible, take this off the booking site! people wants to save and look for cheap but safe place, but this one is a great disappontment ever!
Horrible experience. Fire alarms went off twice at 1am. My son was so scared of the place as soon as we walked into the lobby he cried the entire time. Wouldnt refund our money. The place was filthy the bed sheets has some nasty liquid stuff on them. The room behind us was tapped off with a code compliance on the door saying it was inhabitable. Would not suggest you stay at this motel especially if you have small children my son is two. And small children can sense bad sports and there was something definitely going on in that place. Wish I would have never wasted my money on that room. Dont expect a refund because you wont get it. And then the lady at the front desk in the morning asked why we were taking our own pillows basically accused us of stealing the motel pillows
Lets start off by saying I have stayed at some pretty sketchy places before trying to find a bargain, but this place tested my bargain hunting and decision making skills.My 1st red flag was pulling up to the hotel to see several Police officers, but still....I was vested in a good money bargain.After several attempts to first someone, I found the lady to check in. I asked her if the police were at the hotel often in which she replied, oh yes. Several times a day! You should feel safe though because they are always pulling bad purple out of here. I know what your thinking.. clearly another red flag but Im a glass half full person and decided to take this information as to invoke confidence that at least I would be rescued quickly if things went array.After a few failed attempts of the lady finding me a room, she took me to the place I would call home for a week. One look at the room made me proud knowing that my vaccinations from every disease was up to date, as my immune system would definitely take a hit.I didnt have time to take in the masterpiece, as I had to head into work for my shift at night. At work, I contemplated my life choices and looked at a few life insurance policies on my downtime (just in case). After work I decided to continue the journey.. surely I would be fine. Its just a place to sleep and shower right?I finally arrived to thoroughly check out my sleep cave. You know the saying that you cant polish a turd? Well.... this hotel didnt even try as it was a 7 on the Bristol stool chart (thats liquid diarrhea for you non medical folk!).I will try to attached pictures for you to enjoy. Lets just say....I do have a breaking point and this was it! I could not stay and had to scramble to get another hotel to let me check in early.My take away: sometimes even the best bargains are not worth it, but it sure makes one hell of a story!!
Do not book this hotel!!! The incompetent people of oyo hotels still have this up as a running hotel, so I booked a room from out of state to arrive today from a 3rd party travel site. However I arrived only to find it is no longer a hotel and my booking is non refundable! And to top it off oyo will not help with their screw ups!
Was checked in less than 30 minutes.. First room i was shown had broken light fixture. Tried viewing two other rooms and, my room I was assured would be as good as the last room shown. NO. It had an unmade bed with visibly dirty sheets and blanket. Not to mention the barking dog and yelling guest all heard up and down the halls. AND the elevator doesnt work. Thats when I requested to cancel. The manager assured I would be refunded. But was told less than a hour later, after I had left, by customer service, that he rejected the refund request. And now, I see the cancellation fee is the same as the room fee. Not worth the cheap rate.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. It was very obvious that they just bought this building that looked like it used to be a hospital or other type of care facility. They were in the middle of remodeling it and should not be using it yet. It is 3 stories but the elevator doesnt work so we had to climb the stairs to our 3rd floor room. The carpet was totally disgusting. There were curtains just barely tacked up over the windows but didnt cover them all. There were no towels at all. The bathroom door had a handle but no latch to keep it closed. There were torn up spaces everywhere. If it wouldnt have been almost midnight and I was not dog tired, I would have gone somewhere else. This was my first time staying at an OYO property and most likely will be my last. JUST DONT DO IT!!!

On June 21, 2021 I made the payment for 2 nights at this hotel through the internet, as soon as I entered all my information, the person on duty called me telling me that they had no availability for those nights, obviously it was not necessary to go there. I asked the man if they were going to return my money because they charged me and he told me that there was no problem. I tried to talk to the manager and she never showed her face, she never responded, all she did was send another man to talk to me. I went to the hotel to get my money back and she NEVER talked to me, she said it was a corporation. In addition, the man who works at the reception stated that I was late for the reservation when he only called me to tell me that they had no availability. Neither corporation nor that hotel want to refund my money. I called the bank and they told me I had to wait for them, I would call them again to get an answer and I still havent heard from them. Today is January 31, 2022 and they still dont want to return my money. Ive been ROBBED. NEVER stay in this hotel
The place was disgusting. When I got here to check in the guy wasnt in the office. I had to call and he came down about 10 minutes later. Upon arriving to my room I discovered that there was no sheets, blankets, towels or wash cloths and the tv was on. The couch and the bed and the pillows have all kinds of stains on them. The hallways and the room stink so bad. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever! And theres gnats flying all over the place! I only put a star because I had to to continue with this review.
This is no longer an OYO hotel it is a A RUN DOWN apartment complex that I didn’t even feel safe when got out to verify! Then the phone system to OYO continues to give this address when you finally manage to get thru to a live person but if they transfer you to the actual place you get disconnected.
No sheets on bed. No plug for tv. Sinks don’t drain and toilet did not flush. 6 police officers in and around hotel. One said I should leave ASAP. Entire hotel erupted at 5 am - fighting, hockey playing in the hall - several people said someone had started a fire on the floor above. Bullet hole in my window. Old broken down cars in parking area.
When I arrived there were multiple police cars and I felt extremely unsafe. I entered my room and there were not even sheets on my bed, towels, and the bed was filthy. There was also an orange peel in the air conditioner. I called like 2 times to get a refund but they have not even tried to refund me. Probably better to stay in your car. I have 2 hours because this hotel was atrocious.
Hotel was deteriorating. While staff was friendly, the hotel was perhaps the worst ever. Slept with clothes on. Why did I pick this place? The location, inside rooms and photo sold me. BUT...the bathroom? Oh my. Since it was just me, I stayed the one night. But, in hindsight, nah. At least it sets a new low bar and has become a conversation piece and a sure winner on “betcha can’t beat this experience” contest.
When I first arrived, I had to wait 15+ minutes for the woman manager to finish screaming at her employees about pay. When I finally got my room key, the lock on the door was broken. There was also a cigarette butt and some other small pieces of trash in the room. Even for a cheap room this was bad, I would’ve received better from the crackhead motel down the road.
We booked this stay after looking at the photos shared on hotels.com. When we pulled up it was a DUMP!!! Zero percent like the photos. We usually stay in the OYO-OKC and love it there. This was nothing similar. Waited at the front desk for over 15 minutes to attempt to talk to someone. Ended up calling the corporate number when no one could be found. Saw the room, which was supposed to be a king bed with a king pull out and there was only a queen bed. Walked past blood stained mattresses in the hallway and the whole place was smelly and disgusting. Run away. Do not stay here. Only giving it one star because you have to click something. It deserves zero stars. (Also, there are no refunds)
Staff fixed a few things in the our room that needed fixing. Unfortunately the refrigerator in the room didnt work. But we made do with our ice chest. The room was very clean and it was quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the price was more than affordable.
False advertising & health violations to say the least!!! The pictures online are nothing like the real deal!!! The room had no microwave or mini fridge (which is doable), in order to make the tub handicap accessible they literally cut a section of the tub out & plastered the edges (ok, could take a shower), the windows looked horrendous (could work), the furniture looked 3rd hand (could work), bed had dirty sheets on it (get them change & they would work or sleep on top of the comforter) but most all that isnt acceptable - ROACHES!!! Not just hey there is evidence of roaches but go to use the bathroom & their is a roaches crawling on the door & across the floor!!! The staff was willing to get a mini fridge & microwave & even get another room but if you have one roach in a hotel you have them in all rooms!!! Yall should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Will never get another hotel room from a OYO again!!!
Booked two rooms for employees that were working in the area on Expeida. The pictures that were posted were fantastic. Upon my employees arrival the rooms were deplorable.Holes in the walls electrical wires hanging out. I took the loss on the rooms and booked them elsewhere. I would not let my Ex stay in this room.
Worst hotel ever. Broken elevator, broken glass in the bathroom mirror and broken tv. We were on bug count and got to 3. Wet paint in the bathroom. My husband and I debated sleeping in the car instead of staying as there were no other vacancies around us. We definitely tried to find something else. I will say the WiFi was decent we watched a movie and pretended to be somewhere else.
I didn’t stay here, but I just dropped off a food delivery. Do not come here, especially if you have anxiety. I’m still shaken up. The place smells of smoke, staff are sketchy, and there are people walking around everywhere. Ceiling tiles missing, broken windows, dirty floors. Police heavily watch this hotel, and I was dreading having to drop off food here.
I booked knowing they were renovating, a friend stayed here and was very complimentary of the staff. Even tho the booking site made an error, Brandon went out of his way to accommodate me. I tried giving him a hard time but that young man took it in stride. He was so kind I was proud to see such professionalism from a young person. My expirience got better when Ruby arrived, I thought she was my personal concierge! It may be in need of repairs but I would not hesitate to return for the unmatched hospitality genuine warmth and and welcoming sprit of the staff. Thank you to both of them!
Avoid this place!!!! So bad that I decided not to check in. Hotwire refused to refund my money. Per Hotwire, the hotel claims I was never there last night at 9pm to check in.In all reality I was shown 4 rooms by the on duty manager. 2 of which had people already in them, 1 had broken cabinets and the other was .5 star if I had to rate it. Hall lights mostly out, ceiling insulation falling in hall on 3rd floor. Loud music and alot of people hanging out in stairways & hallways. Fyi, elevator is out of service.I travel alot for a living and have for 25 years. This one may go down as one of the roughest motels ive seen yet.Really wish the hotel would consider a refund to resolve this. Asking for the manager to please contact me as I cant reach via phone.
Me and my partner were doing a road trip in Route66 and booked this hotel on our way to TX. It’s a lill late night and after driving all day long, we’re exhausted. First of all, no one was at the desk. There’s a number on the table to call. So we called twice and someone showed up after 40 minutes. He did paperwork and charged us twice from our card saying first time didn’t go through. Asked us to see the person at front desk next day for refund. Finally he gave us a room which was dirty and used. We had to go all the way to the room to find that out. We came back to the desk and had to call him again. He gave us another room which smells terrible. Somehow we slept that night there and ran away the very next day early morning. Never ever going back there again and wouldn’t suggest anyone to go there.
Apparently makes it a practice of stealing money for not being able to provide accommodations. Was advised that I would not get charged due to no rooms being available at check in and now weeks later are saying there will be no refund at all. Frustrating because I would have chosen to continually stay at this hotel chain and now I never will again.
Bar far one of the best extended stay hotels ever!! The on site manager gets up anytime day or night to assist with check in/outs. Hes super friendly. They check everyday to see if i need anything they ask me how was my day & work the hotel has CCTV recording so youre always protected & the police patrols regularly its close to a convenience store BOA PLENTY Of restaurants in the area
If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I arrived on the property on a Friday evening. It was very poorly lit and if I wasnt using Maps I wouldnt have even known it was a hotel. I entered the lobby and no one was at the front desk. I called a number listed on a sign and someone answered, asked who I was, and then said someone would be up shortly. It took the person almost five minutes to reach the front desk. They unlocked the reception and asked for my name. As soon as I gave it, I was told that, unfortunately, all rooms were full and they would not be able to accommodate me. I had a reservation with this hotel which was made earlier in the week, but apparently this meant nothing as when I expressed this the receptionist repeated the same phrase. When I then asked for a full refund, I was told I would need to go through the site I used to book (which was OYOs site). This occurred while there were five other guests in the lobby. I immediately left and had to find another hotel, which was of course very expensive since it was a last minute booking. The only saving grace was after submitting a ticket through their system I was issued a full refund. If youre trying to save money on a hotel in Edmond, do NOT book with OYO. Find an AirBNB or book elsewhere early.
The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is really kind but the place is kind of a mess. Not sure if it’s a hotel or long-term living, feels like it was half converted into a hotel from an old folks home. My room was missing a ton of things including a trash bin, shampoo, soap, cushions on the couch. The staff helped me find them after I asked. Random people knocking on my door one night repeatedly. Overall really weird experience....I wish them the best though.
In all honesty when we went to check in I was getting some sketchy vibes and was a lil nerve racking but you know staff was super nice and chill. the dude let us see the room first , it honestly was way different then I expected. For $40 it was definitely worth it. Don’t let all the bad reviews get to you lol, once you get in your room it’s a nice lil place to stay for the night just mind your business and do you! the only thing I hated was the door wouldn’t work with my key!😂 but other than that great staff and nice room on the inside !

Requested room with king bed, they put us in one with a queen. When they did move us to a room with a king, it had no pillowcases no wash cloths in bathroom and the tv didnt work. No blankets on the bed either. Place was in total disrepair, and should be bulldozed and a decent motel built. First time at OYO, probably be my last!

DONT STAY HERE...???. Our room had no sheets, pillow cases, toiletries, floor wasnt vacuumed, toilet didnt flush, a roach was on our curtains, and to top it all off our bed had bedbugs. The night desk lady gave us the run-around about getting our refund, and refused to give me a number to reach management. This hotel doesnt even have a phone that connects to the front desk, and the lady let that be known as we were on the phone with priceline for our refund. 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
I walked in and didn’t even stay. It was awful. The vibes from it made it feel like a halfway house with no rules!! I wasn’t even able to speak to an employee but everyone I spoke to asked me who I was looking for. I was like “is this not a hotel???”I then got pulled over as I was pulling out and the officer was asking a million and one questions and told me not to stay there and to never go back. So I will do as I’m told and felt the need to share the information!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE!! I recently stayed here, everything was fine until I woke up in the morning to find my puppy was gone. The lady at the front desk said she didn’t have time to watch the cameras that she was sorry I lost my dog. 💔😭💔😭 only thing I could do was make a police report.
The room was trashed. There were holes in the walls, there was no fridge, the toilet wasnt seated and leaked everywhere, we were not told about the room condition in advance and when we told the manager or owner about it he got really beligerant with my husband.
No trash cans in room, no towels, i found gum on the bed. The manager there was helpful but a little irritated with helping. Honestly, if it wasnt for the price and how Im only here one night I would not stay here until they fix this!
This was the most disgusting, putrid and horrifying place I have ever stayed , and Ive travel around the world.Id have been better off sleeping under a bridge.You know it bad when you can see baby roaches crawling all over your room. It would be safer to stay at the Bates Motel. The rooms are in desperate need of renovations (and thats being kind) and the rooms are regularly broken into (by other guests and management).
This place was awful. Staff was rarely at the desk. I looked at multiple rooms before I found one that had a working t.v. when I found a room with a t.v., I had to carry a refrigerator from the maintenance room, to the room they rented me. Once I got settled in, I opened the medicine cabinet and found syringes full of drugs. There was also a spoon with meth on it. I know it was meth because the staff who cleaned it up told me it was 1000% meth... The only reason I was here at all, is because I lost power in the ice storm. DO NOT RENT HERE unless you have no other options.
They want you to be honest .... when you do they never contact you again. ...there was animal waste in the hallway inside the building on the 2nd floor I offered to pay in full I was told no? Im confused. . I met a lady they called crazy & her boyfriend who wondered the halls all day and one resident who is an alcoholic all on the first visit to the property as a single person I didnt feel safe them not following up with me is no love loss

It was 4 nights 5 days from HELL, Dont go there!!!!!, roaches, none Smoke room, but it smell smoke like breath cigarette smoke, fitly dirty towers, no microware in room for 5 days, luckily I have sleeping back with me. Boooked with a 3rd party had to sit in the office for 15 minutes im the office trging to figure out payment as I was overcharged. The hall smellled like cigarette smoke their were trash bags in thr stairwell and sketchy people everywhere. I paid for a king room and was given a room with a full bed and the room smelled.
The rooms are large. There is two closet for hanging your things as well as as a big closet that has shelves. The bathroom is large. The staff was real nice and went out of there way to help you.
If I could give it a zero star I would. The hotel is condemnable, filled with rats,bedbugs, roaches. Filled with homeless criminals who have warrants and drugs. This is the drug house to find anything you can think of. Toilets leak,clog up,carpet that remains in there is sticky and stained
God-send during a power outage. While the hotel was in a soft opening, the crew was polite and accommodating. What it lacks in Frills it makes up for in heart. Id stay again without hesitation.

I just stayed at the Edmond OYO hotel. I must say I was pleased. The place is undergoing renovations so it may not be as appealing g as it is inside. Everything was clean, affordable and the staff was absolutely amazing. Thank you. I will certainly it stay another night and recommend the to anyone

A very very dirty very very run down hotel.. cannot believe how bad a shape the place is it full of roaches bugs and lets not forget to mention the mice... Hallways and rooms smell like cat urine.. its just horrible... And lets not forget the type of people that are staying there.. it is not safe to walk around alone at night.. I definitely advise anybody thats going to have to stay there not to carry their cell phones around and if they are going to make sure you have them in a pocket where they cant be got to make sure youre not carrying money around it dont flash anything be smart

I dropped off a friend and the police were all over me like I had done something wrong!! The next day just as I was leaving Edmond P.D. pulled me over again I feel this place is the reason for alot of my troubles in Edmond.
