Elgin Smoke and Tobacco Shop

This is one of my favorite shops to visit. Their selection is great and the staff is really helpful! Check them out if you’re in the neighborhood!

I have bought gummies and other edibles from many stores in Chicago, Aurora, and Elgin. I can say without a doubt this is the worse place I have ever bought from. One of the workers (possibly owner) is very rude and insulting. There are plenty of other great places in Elgin. Avoid this store.

Sure, it’s a nice, clean, well-stocked store, but the owner has contempt for you and considers you a druggie degenerate. I’d been shopping at Elgin Smoke for over two years and have been nothing but a great customer to them.When we tried to return a faulty $15 vape that wouldn’t charge, they wouldn’t exchange it. They said their policy was that they needed to be tested before leaving the store. So I purchased a new vape and I asked them to verify it would charge before I left the store. The owner refused to do so.When I left the faulty vape on the counter he made it clear that his customers who purchase intoxicants and the products he sells are nothing better than garbage.If you like to shop at a store where the owner thinks you’re garbage for buying his products than please shop here. He’ll fall all over himself to suck up to you to your face but he’ll treat you like a loser junkie over $15 at the drop of a hat.Have some pride. Don’t shop here.Edit: To respond to the owners response:1. My girlfriend bought several of the vapes so she didnt open this one until she finished the first one. Weve been shopping there for years so being accused of lying over $15 is ugly.2. Its true, I got frustrated at the store because they refused to return a faulty product, and refused to verify that a newly purchased one would plug in and begin to charge. This seemed like a reasonable request. I did raise my voice but I did not swear or say anything personally disrespectful.

Great store and prices are good! Love the owner, always very nice and helpful.

Went to this place last week and it is overpriced compared to the other shops in the area. Also, the staff there acts annoyed at any questions. I dont recommend this store.

The man Hersheys have to say hands down one of the many best smoke house or shop in town I highly recommend it no doubt about you might get lucky to see Hershey’s there but when he is bro definitely brings the right energy to the spender 🤑 thanks bro bro see u soon in Schaumburg don’t snooze on they gravity bong it’s awesome fr fr this shop definitely worth a visit…Shout out to the man with the plan..

Haven’t been to another shop since they opened. The atmosphere of the store alone keeps me coming back. The management is excellent and employees are very knowledgeable and attentive. Jack was who helped me last, and he is one of the best I’ve seen there.

I’ve been coming here for a while, won’t go anywhere else now! Owner is very knowledgeable, honest, and just an all around kind person. Love people who love what they do and passionate about their business. Thanks for being so awesome! Also, the size, variety, and amount of new product is unmatched to anywhere I’ve ever been for the last 10 years. So happy I stumbled in here a couple months ago!

Elgin Smoke and Tobacco Shop has an excellent assortment of things to choose from. The staff are all extremely helpful and informative. I highly recommend this shop for all smoke/vape needs. Jack is very very helpful. He has extensive knowledge of products and is very happy to help you find what you’re looking for.

Never been disappointed when I shop here... always well stocked. Has a wide variety of products as well. Paul is always friendly, which is rare these days!

What a wonderful smoke shop. It’s clean, full of a variety of items, and has fair prices. I went in initially went in with someone else that was grabbing something quickly, and I was so impressed by everything. On 4/20 this shop had a sale so I went back in and bought multiple items, as did my boyfriend. The owner is wonderful, I looked at many different glass pieces and he was really personable and helpful. This will definitely be my regular smoke shop from now on.

The shop owner threatened me to NOT leave a bad review. But honestly don’t go here. It’s overpriced. Plus, they don’t know how to measure sizes!! I got what I needed from the gas station by my house for $5 cheaper. I KNOW when I’m being overcharged for a product

I called the guy, drove 20 mins out, I told him I’ll be there a little before you close, he said that’s fine he closes at 11pm. I get there 10:58, walk up to the door by 10:59, I just needed to quickly grab some flavor and they shut the door on my face and I requested the guy from the window letting him know please let me quickly grab something. He rudely shouts off the top of his lungs and says that he’s closed.I didn’t care if he would open it up or not but the fact that dude disrespected by shouting was bogus. Now I’ll make sure I open up a better location right near him to give him some competition and my customer service will be #1 - let’s get it 💪🏻Didn’t know his name, but was a brown guy with a beard! Great new place in the area with a modest, yet sufficiently diverse assortment of merchandise to choose from. One could manage to smoke a different vape everyday for a year and not exhaust the selection. Staff is not only knowledgeable about the products, but courteous and rather delightful to interact with. An unfortunate rarity among smoke shops, liquor stores, and convenience stores. I would certainly recommend stopping in and looking around.

Jack helps out a lot. Great salesman and super cool to talk to. Give that man a raise!
