While typical relaxation massages are always enjoyable, Kristinas approach to pain relief is like no other specialist Ive had. Its amazing how she can focus treatment on the areas of pain by working on muscles in other parts of the body. She is able to do this because she has a solid understanding of the human body and will explain why she approaches the problem areas the way she does. I highly recommend Kristina if you are looking for someone focused on relieving your pain, as the results are better than any other therapist or chiropractor Ive worked with.

Kristina is an amazing massage therapist. I’m not even sure if I can call her that, because she is so much more. She was able to find areas in my body that were contributing to my neck pain that I didn’t even know hurt. I woke up the next morning not sore at all from her massage and feeling more relaxed and able to turn my neck. She is a gift to this world. I’m grateful to be a client of hers.

If you want a new you, not just a fluff massage, Kristina is the massage therapist for you! I have been seeing her for 6 months and I only ever want to see her as my one and only massage therapist. I work in healthcare and see so many symptoms being treated, but not the root causes being addressed. Kristina addresses the root issues going on in your body and helps your body heal by her outstanding assessment skills and knowledge of the body and how it works together with its intricate details. She has a comprehensive knowledge of the body and is sensitive to you as a unique individual to make sure she helps YOU! Very different type of massage and probably the most knowledgeable massage therapist Ive met. Im a health care provider and Kristinas understanding of anatomy was equivalent to a doctoral class!

I booked an appointment at Fire and Ice Wellness because Kristinas customer reviews are full of words like knowledgeable, informative, educational, and healer. I was looking for a therapist who could help with some old and new nagging injuries. Ive seen her twice and both sessions have been great. Shes definitely an Anatomy and Physiology nerd. She knows the musculoskeletal system, and neural pathways very well. This allows her to diagnose complex issues sometimes involving referred pain. I highly recommend the 90 min Custom Bodywork session. Kristina diagnoses by surveying the body, then provides appropriate treatments. All while she is educating you on what shes doing and why. This is not a massage where you just receive a good massage. This is an interactive experience where the more information you provide the more tailored your session will be. Its unlike any bodywork session Ive ever experienced. Kristina is not just mentally and physically gifted. She is also very personable and genuine.Yep, shes a healer, educator, Anatomy and Physiology student, and an awesome person too.

Kristina is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Very knowledgable, compassionate, one of a kind! Miracle worker. I think she is great at all different massage techniques, but don’t waste her talent on a tranquility/putting your lotion on type, take advantage of her super power of dissolving aches and pains… well in my opinion anyways :)

Kristina is a true professional! This is not your run of the mill, frou-frou massage. Kristina is very thorough in assessing your needs and equally as thorough in addressing them. She is constantly learning and adding new techniques to help her patients. I have some pretty significant injuries/issues and Kristina is always able to work through them. She is not interested in having you come back every week, but rather wants to resolve and heal you. Her vast knowledge of muscles, tissue, fascia, etc and how they all intertwine and work together is second to none. I would highly recommend Kristina!

The first time visiting Kristina, she performed movement therapy on my entire lower back and body. Within the first 10 minutes I was able to feel my hips and lower back opening up, making me feel 20 years younger. I no longer have any pain or tightness. She was able to find other pain points in my shoulder and elbow and release the pain for good. She is amazing!

I first went to Kristina hoping to get a deep tissue massage for my neck issues I was having at the time but I got so much more. Kristina is so knowledgeable about the body, she knew it wasnt my neck but other contribting factors. She came highly recommended but I left feeling skepticle . After my second session my neck pain was gone without touching my neck! I love her methods! Be prepared to work with her on your own healing, breathing and stretching your way to a healthy and happy body! I cant imagine ever going to anyone else, my body awareness and self healing have been incredible. Kristina is the best!

Kristina has a unique massage technique. She tailors the massage to each person. Her massages are therapeutic not just relaxing. It is a mixture of deep tissue, stretching and body reshaping. You leave her massage feeling like you have a new body - feeling good, pain free and more mobile. She is an advocate for better preventative care and educates her clients so they can continue keeping their body feeling good and more mobile. I leave massage feeling pain free and my joints feel like they have more space. She has helped me eliminate pain I thought would never go away. Pain I thought I had to live with as I aged. She works with the body as an integrated unit with a deep understanding of body structure and mechanics. She is a better therapist because of her knowledge. She is continually learning how to improve her technique.

Kristina is by far the Best Custom Massage Therapist EVER!! Just after a couple of days of seeing her and having work done I am SHOULDER PAIN FREE!! Today is my 1st full day without shoulder pain and I have her to thank for it! Ive maintained drinking only water just to properly flush and rehydrate which has help a lot, and Ive kept up with the homework as she likes to put it lol, she told me to do to help my problem area post visit. As an OTR Truck Driver being able to drive pain free is a TREMENDOUS HELP, AND HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF!!Thank you Kristina yet again for the awesome job you do, you truly are great!!

What a wonderful experience! My daily headaches have disappeared after a deep tissue massage on my neck and shoulders. I went to Kristina due to hip pain, which the doctor told me I had to live with, that pain has diminished so that when I stand up, I don’t have to wait before taking a step. She is awesome and listens to your concerns.

I had a severe concussion a few years ago which has lead to constant stiffness around my neck. I reaggregated the injury through working out and ended up having very intense migraine headaches everyday. These headaches were so painful that I contemplated going to the hospital on some days. I went to go see a chiropractor and had many treatments with no progression in the headaches I was having. I looked up Fire and Ice at the time as just something else I could try for trying to get help. My quality of life was terrible and I was in so much pain for months. After only two sessions with Kristina Karklin my headaches were almost non-existent and by a third session they were gone altogether. Kristina taught me a ton about how the body works at the same time and I am incredibly grateful that I was able to find her. I would recommend her to anyone of any age or any issues you might be going through. Even if you just want to do general maintenance, Kristina can teach you a ton.

Fantastic service, she works miracles!I have been in multiple car accidents, and spent years sitting at a desk all day for work. As a result I have (or now can say had!) numerous issues from my hips up to my neck. My shoulders were always up in my ears, and my neck would sometimes ache for days.I always figured I would eventually need surgery and/or would have to deal with these problems for the rest of my life. Thankfully I was mistaken. At a friends recommendation I made an appointment.Kristina was instrumental in my healing. She is very passionate about healing people and it shows through in her work.Before when my neck and shoulder would start aching, I would just have to deal with it, or take Ibuprofen, until it got better on its own.Turns out, the issues were all connected, my muscles had been locked up for so long that they stopped firing properly and caused others to overwork. Each treatment she was able to get deeper and deeper into the issue. Once she was able to get the tissue moving and blood flowing, she taught me a number of stretches. Now when I start getting neck pain I can stretch it out. A few minutes later I go from a 7 pain to 0 in minutes. No more hoping and waiting sometimes days for the pain to go away on its own!TL:DR My quality of life has improved many times over and Im feeling better than ever! Go see her, its well worth the investment!

Kristina is the quintessential massage therapist, extremely knowledgeable in regards to the function and healing of the human body. She is Professional and takes the clients health seriously. In all sincerity, recommending anyone else would be a mistake.

Kristina has been my body worker for over 5 years. She has fixed so many problems I have had due to my job as a hairstylist. I bought a gift card for a 100$ for a 60 min massage for my wife who’s going through a loss. I was trying to make her feel better. I called to schedule an appointment. The woman said that she doesn’t have availability until next year. The earliest that she could get to us is November 1 roughly. And that’s if there’s a cancellation. me and my wife are moving out of state next month so we won’t have an opportunity to use our gift card. So we asked for a refund we just bought the gift card four days ago. The woman was very rude refuse to give us our money back, even though there’s no way for us to utilize this card. She is the owner. the person answering the phone is the owner it’s a single person operated business. She’s very disrespectful. She doesn’t care that people only have a certain amount of money to treat their wives one time. None of that matter. She made some crazy rude comparison to Walmart. I just suggest that you don’t use this business especially don’t buy a gift card. It doesn’t say on the website that she has no availability . She will not give you your money back. She doesn’t care. She’s just trying to get people to buy gift cards on her website that she doesn’t have to honor.

The owner operator is so rude. Also she is booked out until December so don’t pay online for services. There is no “ NO AVAILABILITY “ notice on the website. Or a “ NOW BOOKING APPOINTMENTS FOR DECEMBER “ sign either . So she will accept your money then tell you she has no availability on the phone hahah what a scam. Then she refuses to give you a refund. She’s so rude! You should have NO AVAILABILITY on your website instead of stealing money from everyday hard working people who are just looking for relief. Especially since I was trying to support your small business as a business owner my self. I’ll definitely be spreading the word about this scam. Like you’re really doing that badly that you can’t refund 100$ ? Where’s the “ no refund” notice on your site? There isn’t one. That’s right terrible place. Terrible woman.
