Bar Myx

This is a fun place. Its a bit of a dive, so know that going in. The drinks are large and priced well. The staff is super friendly.This i very much an LGBT and open lifestyle bar. Theres nothing crazy overt, but youll definitely see people being friendly and theres going to be some drag queens and such here. Nothing wrong with that, just know what youre walking into.Its a fun environment. Parking is a bit touchy, but there are places across the street and located around the neighboring block. Not too dangerous as there are neighborhoods a block or two away and the cops seems to roll by that neighboring street fairly regularly.

Best safest place to party in town. Edit = They changed their drink size, prices. Now its a finger full in a small cup for over five bucks, and thats well drinks. Most of their employees are new, not many people go anymore. Dont know why they messed up a good thing...... Great place to dance still.

Update 6/16/15:The general manager messaged me last night, explained the situation, and was generally awesome while she tried to make things right. Unfortunately, Facebook routed her message to the Other folder, so I did not receive it until today. Still, shes offering amazing customer service, so I am changing my review from 3 stars to 4 and may upgrade it to 5 if this whole mess manages to resolve itself correctly and I continue to receive good customer service.Original Review 6/15/15:Great atmosphere. Ive had an absolute blast every time Ive gone. But make sure you check your bank account if you pay with debit/credit.On Saturday, June 13, 2015 I went out with some friends to Bar Myx in Everett. I chose to open a tab, not wanting to pay drink by drink (resulting in multiple charges on my card). At closing time I closed out my tab (which was $39.00) and left a $10.00 tip, resulting in a total of $49.00.On Sunday when my husband and I balanced the checkbook we noticed that there were two pending authorizations for $39.00 from Bar Myx showing on our checking account. Assuming that it was just an authorization error we opted to not take any action at that time and see what happened. Today when we checked again we found that both charges had gone through for $49.00, and that there was still a pending charge for $39.00. We called our bank and were informed that our online banking was correct - two charges for $49.00 each from Bar Myx had cleared our account. The bank representative was able to get rid of the pending charge, but informed us that we would need to fill out the MasterCard Cardholder Dispute form in order to dispute the second charge.We attempted to resolve this by contacting Bar Myx directly; however, they were difficult to reach, did not have any way to leave a message before the opened for the evening (which is at 5pm, after most other businesses have closed), and were told that there was no one there that could help us and we’d need to call back tomorrow (Tuesday, 5/16/15) between 5-7pm to speak with a manager. While the employee was polite, he was not apologetic nor particularly helpful. We find it entirely unacceptable and unbelievable that there is not a single person (perhaps a shift manager) on site tonight that could have checked the credit card batch report, confirmed that there was a double charge, and started the refund process.The stupid part is that a bit of sympathy and a half-assed apology from the employee that answered the phone could have prevented this, but now Im pissed that I was charged twice and NO ONE at Bar Myx even cares enough to act even a tiny bit contrite.

Decent any normal night, and saturdays are amazing, but sunday the semi-regular ( possibly just regular) DJ wont play what you might potentially want to sing due to his opinion regarding your choice of music, and will readily deny your request if he doesnt find to be something hell enjoy listening to. Additionally, with regards to hired help, the management care nothing for the opinon/comfort of their patrons where complaints are concerned, unless they think youre the kind of very attractive that will bring more business ( primary attention to females). You are the problem if you dont like something. Accross the board.

So much fun everyone is so nice and happy. Everyone except everyone straight or gay your welcome there its a real fun place. More fun then some seattle clubs to be honest

Listen...Im young, and I dont have a whole lot of experience being here. Ive got 4 years of coming to this place. Every time if good or bad it has been hands down the place that gets me to smile in the worse of times ND kept me smiling through the best. This is the place to be get down here what are you waiting for

Just moved to Everett and wanted to check out the gay bar. The bartender took down our order wrong and I went up there to figure out what was going on. The bartender was rude and had an attitude about it. Just very poor and unfriendly service all around. Wont be back.

Super fun atmosphere. Always an adventure!!! Great dance floor with very open accepting vibe.

Great atmosphere, great barstaff, great at keeping an eye out. Local DJS and daily specials. Food is bomb.

This is the only bar Ill go to..Staff is awesome,music is great and so are the drinks.Definitely worth coming too.

Too many straight guys here that are offended by gays... its weird. The entire culture is changing and they are always remodeling.
