Massage Envy

Went in for a couples massage. Greg was assigned to me to do the massage. I told him before even starting that I don’t want him to do it hard. He essentially responded saying in order for me to receive the benefits he has to apply pressure, if not it would just be rubbing lotion on me. As soon as he started I was miserable. If I’m paying for a service I expect it to be done how I’d like not how he likes. He talked and made strange comments throughout the massage. My neck has been in pain for days after now. The ONLY reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the woman that my husband got did absolutely wonderful he said. The woman at the front desk had great customer service and there was candy throughout the rooms which was nice. If I come back I’d definitely see anyone other than Greg.

I had the experience of a massage for the first time in my life, I was assisted by Rachel, she was an excellent person🤗 very kind and was great, very professional, I came out new and relaxed, I will definitely return monthly.

Samantha was wonderful, kind and made me feel very comfortable. She really worked on my problem areas and had the perfect pressure. I feel amazing! It was a calm, relaxing and clean environment.

Let me make clear that this review is five stars for the therapist…NOT the front desk. My husband gave me a gift card for Christmas for massage and facial. I knew the minute I walked into the spa that things had drastically changed since last time I was there. It is not clean, shelves are almost empty and the front desk person greeted me in a hoodie and sweats. The waiting room is dirty and not inviting or relaxing whatsoever. Massage with Greg was perfect, as usual (I’ve seen him before). Went to check out and waited for ten minutes because the desk was deserted. Another woman finally showed up. Tried to short me on the balance of my gift card. Meanwhile, the first girl came out of the side office and had obviously been asleep. What a shame to see this place turn into this. It used to be a great place. What a shame that the therapists are given this first impression for their clients.

I came in same day a couple hours later from my call and they were very friendly. Greg did great! Strong handshake tells you! The environment is peaceful, dim lighting and relaxing music. A single person to a room. Very comfortable. Bathroom is very nice and clean too : ) Thank you!

I am so glad I made a appointment here. My back was really tense and making it hard to do about anything. Greg was great. He checked in often on how I was doing and how the pressure was. I am so grateful he did that. He waa kind and really focused on the areas requested and listened to what i was saying.I would recommend Greg to others and plan to come back. So glad i talked myself into going.

Been n so many auto accidents. All of them not my fault. Guess n the wrong place at wrong time. I prefer deep tissue massages to get all my kinks out. Gregg seems to do this effectively. Tried alot of massage therapist that I consider not deep massages. Im thankful I have found Gregg. Good Massage Therapist r hard to come by these days!!! Thank Gregg for helping me. Keep up the good work.

My massage therapist was very kind but his technique was not what I expected. I literally was shaking from how hard and fast he was moving his hands. The table was rocking. He was sloppy with his massage. Did not touch my feet once. Thought he was going to rub a hole in the base of my skull. I told him a few times it was to hard. Also heard lots of noise from his nose. I came for a relaxing massage and honestly just wasnt impressed.

The staff were friendly but my massage was horrible. Went to Greg. I told him I’d like light pressure and he immediately shot it down and did the exact opposite. The pressure was so hard I almost cried, especially on my neck. I thought he had fallen asleep a couple times, too. I’m not one to complain, so I said it was “good.” I should have complained right away, though. Not relaxing whatsoever and won’t ever be going back.

I was greeted warmly. A professional assessment was done as a new client. All areas were clean and had a comfortable vibe.Clarissa was sweet and professional. Had just the right combination of soft touch and deep pressure. Checked in with me during the process and watched for signs of discomfort.Will absolutely be coming back.

Samantha is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of massages. Perfect pressure and techniques.

My husband and I have been having issues with this location all year. From them canceling our appointments without telling us, only for us to find out after we drove an hour to get there and then nobody could explain why, to them continuing to charge our account AFTER we canceled our memberships! That’s theft! The manager never calls us back and they continually give excuses. I will be escalating this to corporate since nobody at this establishment wants to do the right thing and I will never use massage envy again nor recommend them to anyone….

Samantha is an AMAZING massage therapist! Shes so attentive to my needs and I always come out feeling better than when I went in.

This was the second time I’ve been to the place and I’ve used Greg the first time he was amazing. The second time was more of a laying hands on experience as he fell asleep during my massage, and would wake his self up when he was about to fall or started snoring I will not be back and use him

My therapist was sick and I did get sick afterwards. Lost my necklace in the room and it was a challenge to get it back. No hot towels were used, which is in the protocol.

Had a great session with Clarissa I booked a 90 minute massage in two weeks. She’s amazing!

Clarissa was great. I went in with pain in my back that was radiating through my left hip and down my left leg and, though I didnt expect miracles, her focused massage work helped tremendously. Thanks, too, to the reception staff who made my visit noteworthy. I will be back.

I received my first facial here yesterday and I can say it was 100% amazing. My therapist explained everything she was doing in each step, along with “ why”. To up the experience, she massaged my shoulders, neck, arms and hands while waiting on the masks. This was truly an enjoyable experience. I have signed up for a membership… getting all of the knots out of my neck made me realize just how much I neglect myself and need to just take a 1 hour break a month, for “ me”.

I was impressed.Gregory was very professional and made feel comfortable. Would ask me how I was doing and how was the pressure. Gregory , is a 5 😊.

I absolutely loved my facial. The lady was great and explained everything that she was putting on me. The front desk lady was nice and so helpful my Mom and I both signed up for a year.! I will definitely be going back. It was awesome!

GREGORY gave me the best deep muscle massage. He asked for feedback and adjusted pressure when I requested. I have already made a return appointment with him.

Scheduled a massage for my father on his birthday. Made a profile and account for payment. After scheduling I called to confirm. Massage envy assured me they had my info, reservation & payment method (credit card) and that my father would have no problem when he arrived or at check out. Father came, got the massage that was booked, but at the end they made him pay. Made him pay for his own birthday gift that should have been charged to my account. I came the next day in person to see what happened & why they would have charged him, especially when they assured me he wouldnt be charged. Front desk was nice and apologized, said they had all my info and didnt know why he was charged. She said the manager would call me back and make it right. They have made no attempts to call me since. Its been 2 weeks.

Samantha was great with my special needs daughter, she had patience, didnt rush, explained what she was going to do. My daughter was relaxed and happy After her session. Great job Samantha!

I have had multiple mess ups with appointments. If someone isn’t working that day why do you schedule an appointment! I’m ready to cancel my membership. Get professional staff and management or you’ll lose one more “previously satisfied” member.

Samantha does a fantastic job. My stress areas are the shoulder, neck, upper back. Sam knows just how deep to massage those areas, she gives the best massage from anyone I’ve tried yet. 😃

Samantha was professional, considerate and provided a great massage. The front desk team were courteous and professional. The facility is clean and comfortable. I also git a stretch but cannot remember the name, she was professional, communicated everything she was doing and was kind. Very impressed.

Came in with an extremely sore and tight neck and lower back. Came out relaxed and feeling so much better. Greg is very professional and asked regularly during the massage if I was happy or if he needed to do anything different. Completely positive experience.

Samantha is excellent as a massage therapist! She gave me the best hot stone massage I have ever had! I left feeling relaxed and like a bowl of jello. Today 24 hours later I still feel amazing.

I walked in with tight muscles and a stiff neck. Within that hour Samantha did her magic and I felt so refreshed and relaxed. Samantha is amazing!!!! I then had a facial by Roxy and my face feels and looks so much better. I had an amazing 2 hours there. Thank you ladies.❤

Clarissa did a great massage but the office seemed disorganized. They forgot about me and left me in the waiting room. When the therapist came to get me she apologized and said she was on her lunch hour because my appointment didn’t show up on her iPad ( however it did appear to the front desk) not sure what happened there but Clarissa was very apologetic and gave me a great massage.

I was in extreme pain. Greg helped me tremendously. It is obvious he knows what he is doing. He was professional, friendly, and helped me to walk out of the office much happier. I was in tears when I walked in. He made sure I knew I could let him know if the pressure was too much. I will be returning and signed up for a years worth of excellent massage work on me! Thanks Greg.

Clarissa has been my massage therapist for awhile, she is very good at her job. I definitely recommend her.

It was my first visit to Massage Envy and the front desk receptionist was friendly and helpful. The therapist, Craig, was excellent. He took care of all the knots in my shoulder and neck area. Overall it was a great experience.

First off I didnt get the person I wanted and scheduled to have do my massage. They give me a substitute and well just put it this way it was NOT pleasurable at all. I was mad too day the least and then as I walk out the grimy desk lady asks me was that was a good massage? I didnt want to go off so I looked and her and didnt say anything and just walked out. I called to complain and was told the manager would call me back I asked for her to pass leave a message as I was at work when she called I couldnt answer but was there a message... no not at all. It is still unresolved but so far Im not pleased with this establishment. I was NOT relaxed and I was not calm. And this all happened on my birthday. Needless to say my birthday wasnt very good because of this experience it was horrible.

I always have a fantastic experience with Gregory. He is professional, knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I always feel lighter and so much more relaxed when I leave. He truly knows his craft well and attends to every muscle that needs attention.

Greg did an amazing job as always, he gets in deep into my neck, shoulders, and back. The front desk however was a joke! I was trying to check out and the 2 girls at the front were on a video call with a friend. They had very little interest in taking care of the person in front of them. The least they could have done was put the friend on hold until my transaction was complete. They were a disappointment. Was thankful to Greg for relieving a terrible headache and tension.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. I don’t recommend anyone getting a membership from these people they will scam you. My membership ended in May and they closed for Covid and started charging my card again in October. I called them and said my membership should’ve been cancelled and the lady said it wasn’t and sent me the paperwork that had to be filled out and emailed. I finished the cancellation paperwork in ten minutes and sent it back to them I never got a response saying it was cancelled. Then they charge my card again in November. I asked to speak with a manager and the manager never called me. I had two credits remaining to use and I scheduled an appointment last weekend and I showed up the lady said my appointment was cancelled but she wasn’t sure why? No one called me to say the appointment was cancelled. I rescheduled for today well I get there and she said we are not doing massages to pregnant women right now. How am I supposed to use these credits if they won’t let me give them to my spouse or someone else? I just blows my mind how awful there communication is with the customers they have there.

Please please please do not use this company unless you simply do not care about your money. Ive been trying to cancel my account for months, and they keep giving me the runaround. The local store refers you to corporate, and corporate refers you right back to the local store. Keep in mind, Im not under any contract to use their service (I started with a contract, but used the service long enough to fulfill said contract). When they closed for the pandemic, they billed me based on community limitations without notifying me first. Every time they opened (even if it was for the minimum capacity), they would start billing me again unannounced. I had an account for me and my daughter (she has since moved away to an area that has no massage envy), and Ive been trying to cancel both accounts, as we no longer use the service. Massage Envy corporate either tells me to reach out through the online portal which Ive tried to no avail, or to call my local store. I tried going into the store in person to get it sorted out, and they just tell me that they will submit my request and will email me to let me know that my account has been canceled. Ive been told this twice now on two separate occasions, and have yet to receive the email. Convenient for them though, Im STILL GETTING BILLED. Im beyond frustrated. It has come to the point where I will be canceling my debit card just to get it to stop. I will never come here again, in any location, and will actively advise against it to anyone looking for real customer service. If I had actually had a real response to my concerns, I would not be leaving this review, but unfortunately given the circumstances, I really hope they are replaced by a company that actually cares about their patrons.

Samantha was awesome! I’ve been having pain in my shoulder and arm, so I requested that she work in those areas. She did just that and I feel better today. I’m looking forward to my next massage with Samantha.

Clarissa was great. I asked if she could use the Thera gun on my back and shoulder. She hit all the sore places. Very good massage.

The team at massage envy, Farmington is so kind to me. Gregory is very skilled. I cant believe how much better I feel today. The chronic pain in my thumbs is gone today, after seeing Gregory yesterday. Also staff is discreet and professional.

This was my first visit to Massage Envy. Greeted with happiness and helpful customer service. I was thoroughly pleased by such a great massage by Gary. He talked me through each process but kept the atmosphere comfortable and relaxing. I look forward to my next massage!

At one time it was the best place to go, for facials. My first visit again was so disappointing. The front desk receptionist was unprofessional, the front office felt and looked dirty and felt filthy. My microdermabrasion left me with scratches on my face. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had there. This place needs new management. My original treatments were unavailable as well.

I have been seeing Greg for 3 months, he has an unusual technique which has been super effective for releasing all my knots and improving my limited range of motion problems. Will continue to book him for massages.

Do not sign up for a membership! Its a pain to cancel even when you have done your duty (paying for 12 months membership). I finished my membership in February, they r still charging my card. I have to always email /call them to ask for refunds. I have asked several times for my information to be removed since I no longer a member. I was told it was removed but I got charged again the following month. No apology, explanation or solution from the manager. Really frustrating.

Ive been seeing greg for my massages and he never disappoints. I have met with roxy for a microderm infusion and yesterday met mitra for a chemical peel. I love that massage envy is here.

It was lovely. Staff was attentive and the message put me straight to sleep. Ive had an extremely frustrating spasm above my left shoulder for about 3 months now and Cindy got it out in a 30 minute session. Cant wait to share this place with my love!

Very disappointed!I had called about booking a facial wanting more information on the services they provided. The receptionist said the esthetician would consult with me when I came in and we could move on from there. The same thing was told to me when arriving. This was my first time coming to M.E and they knew this. I normally go to another spa in another city but wanted to find a place closer to home. I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment but they were more concerned about going to buy batteries and putting them in their clocks rather that helping me. I didnt get taken to a room until ten minutes after the scheduled time. The room was dark and basic with a covered massage table. The esthetician day across the room from me and asked what my concerns were and I told her hyperpigmentation, age lines and most of all my clogged pores mostly on my nose! I thought wed discuss treatments needed but she said shed take care of my concerns/ needs. So fifteen minutes after my scheduled appointment we started the hour long facial. I had two deep cleansing applications with the same product, exfoliating application, a few extractions, but the esthetician said there werent too many clogged pores. I know my face and asked...are you sure? She said your good, pinched my nose where I told her the majority are and said.. nothing is coming out. She didnt use any tools, so I just assumed since she had a major magnifying glass and light they must have some super amazing products if there were no clogged pores left on my nose. She continued with another mask, massaged my neck because I asked that my hands not be massaged. I kept wondering if she was going to use an extractor or a dermabrasion? These (things are included in other spas that I have gone to) but nothing. Then she applied a vitamin c serum and finally a spf treatment. That was it. So minus the 15 minutes of waiting, I got a 45 minute facial where a bunch of products were applied but definitely no deep pore cleansing or resurfacing. I then went to check out. I bought a gift card months earlier for a facial. So when they told me I owed another 70 dollars I nearly flipped. 140.00 for a bunch of product to be applied. I may as well have stayed home and put my own product on and extracted my own pores, because when I got to the car I looked at my pores on my nose and chin and they were still clogged. Very visible and even I could squeeze them out. 😡I also asked about dermabrasion and other services to compare prices and they never answered my question. Must be double for those services. 🤷Ive had a facials with dermabrasion along with a sit in the sauna or steam shower afterwards included for 100 dollars. This was a subpar experience and quite a rip-off!!!! 😡I left a even left a tip because I thought if my pores were really clear, it was so worth it! This will be the first an last time I step foot in this establishment.

Tiffany is a fantastic massage therapist, Brittany is the best customer service person I ever have met. I highly recommend Cheyenne for a stretch. She is an amazing stretch therapist. Go give yourself a treat!

So Ive gone here for years, I canceled my membership because I wasnt needing to go as often. My friend gave me a gift card for a massage, the catch, they had her just pay the introductory rate, so if I wanted a full hour Id have to pay like an extra 30$ now I get it if I was paying for my massage myself but the point of the gift card was to give me a massage. So disappointed

Had a facial by Roxy and she is amazing at what she does. Very professional and knowledgeable with the products she uses. Very relaxing. If you’ve never had a facial try it you’ll love it and ask for Roxy.

The lady who greeted me was awesome...very friendly.. was early and didnt start on time ..the vibe was great til I notice I got a 40 min massage when I order a 60 min massage, talked to the worker direct but wasnt trying to work with me... Time was against my 1st and last experience.

Poor communication. I understand irregular opening and closing with the pandemic, but if they’re gonna just open back up and start billing you, a heads up should be in order. They oversell products and scheduling is a mess. Would not recommend.

They give a good massage, but the prices are quite high. Id also recommend passing on the head/neck relaxation during the massage. My head was just held for ~15 min, but I dont know why.
