Glow beauty bar girls are amazing! I went there several time for facial and everyone is great! They always take time to answer your questions and they are very kind! Today I went with my teen for a facial and me for a deep tissue massage 💆‍♀️ the lady gave me the best massage I had in years! Great service!

I visited glow beauty for a hydra-derm facial and 60min deep tissue massage. I absolutely loved my visit! First of all, the physical space is incredibly clean and welcoming. They have accounted for every little detail to make sure that the experience is seamless and relaxing. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I left like a brand new human and I don’t just mean physically, but I felt like the weight of the world lifted with 1 spa visit. I’ll be back! Oh and I left after purchasing some new products to ensure my experience continues at home too.

Oof. Buckle up.Services here are good, but I was pretty shocked by the demeanor of Kate, who seems to be the manager/owner and who did a couple of peels for me. When I first met her, she asked me to explain my skincare journey. When I started to say that a certain ingredient worked well for my skin, she cut me off and snapped “well that’s for old people, not you.” She asked me if a dermatologist had told me to use that ingredient specifically, and when I said no, she very blatantly laughed at me as if I was stupid to use it. Then, as I was paying at the end of the peel, she sold me one of her own products that had that same ingredient in it, telling me it would work for my skin and even saying “you know, since you like (that ingredient) so much.”At my next appointment, she declared authoritatively to me that my skin type was the exact opposite of what I said it was, as though my 30 years of experience living in my body and the opinion of every doctor who has ever looked at my skin was all wrong.Later, I was shocked to find that she had taken photos of me without my knowledge (while I had covers over my eyes during a procedure) and posted them on the business’ social media account without my consent, accompanied by a caption that was exaggerated and inaccurate. It felt so violating and like a complete breach of trust. If I had seen it sooner, I would have canceled all existing appointments I had with them immediately.It’s too bad, because the services are fine and everyone else there seemed kind, but all of this was so strange that I can’t imagine ever going again.

I had a facial and dermaplaning at Glow in Florence recently which was wonderful as always! Wish I could afford to fit them more regularly as I age 😂 I also picked up some products to take home with me. One of the things that I mentioned to the esthetician was I used to love my freckles but overtime I feel like they have just turned into dark spots not so much freckles. I have already seen such an improvement in the clearness in my face. I would 100% recommend Glow for your next facial!

I had my first facial with Natalie and I had such a great time. Natalie made me feel comfortable, relaxed and provided valuable information for my skin moving forward. The ambiance was relaxing - everything about my experience was great. Definitely recommend!

Amazing service! I had Natalie who gave me a lash lift and tint. She made sure I was comfortable with everything and kept me informed with what she was doing since I had to keep my eyes closed and she was super nice. The place was also super clean and just an overall great atmosphere that makes you feel welcomed.

Beautiful Sauna! It was peaceful and relaxing. The sauna was really hot and worked well. There was a shower and amenities to use once you were done! I recommend bringing something to read.

This was my first spray tan and Natalie made me feel comfortable and helped me with each step. My tan came out beautiful and even everywhere!! I definitely recommend and will be going back for future events!!!

I absolutely love this spa. Expect top notch service. I had my first facial by Kate. As a new customer didn’t know what to expect going in. What I loved about my experience was as soon as Kate put me under her light, she recommended we do the hyrdafacial vs what I had originally came in for. I trusted her expert advice and I for sure was not disappointed. My face did glow after that first appointment. A few months later I went back and scheduled with Michelle. Another amazing experience was provided and my skin was glowing once again. I decided to do their membership package because I owe it to myself to feel as good as I do when I leave this spa more often. This spa truly cares about the services they provide and building long lasting relationships. As a bonus it’s also a very cute place and they offer amazing products to buy. If you are looking for a once in a while treat or a place for repeated visits, Glow is for you.Im 46 and have dry skin with discoloration from sun damage and hormones, and my skin has noticeably improved since becoming a member and coming for regular facials and treatments. My skin has never been this soft!Kate has carefully created a line of products that I trust, and her staff is skilled and will recommend a morning and evening routine with zero sales pressure. They take the time to explain what order to apply everything and why they suggest the products. Again, I have never felt pressured into buying, and I use every product Ive brought home.If you are ready for a first time pampering session or you are a regular skincare client, get yourself to Glow. Looking to treat someone else? They will have a fantastic experience here.

Nicole was wonderful. I had a Nano infusion facial as well as an eyelash tint and brow clean up. She explained everything she was doing and answered all of my questions I had. I would definitely recommend!

You need to go Glow Beauty Bar ! They have everything face, hair and body , including a facial line , spray tanning, teeth whitening & an infrared sauna. Their hair stylists , I go to Justin, are up on all the latest training . Justin is extremely talented with color plus friendly and fun to boot . If on the fence or want to try a new spa, I’d definitely recommend Glow!

First of all, I never realized how much fun I could have taking care of my skin and my hair. I was one of those people who never paid attention to my face or my skin. Thank goodness that I started going here to not only look and feel better, but to also learn how to take great care of my skin. Kate and her entire staff are so welcoming and it is such a comfortable environment. I love and trust the people here and they have helped me age backwards, but not only that they have helped me feel so much better about how my face and skin feel and look.My hair has always been challenging. However, I am totally loving the way it looks. Justin works wonders and we have great conversations. He’s excellent. This place is a diamond star spa and if you want to look better and feel comfortable while doing it I suggest you come and check it out yourself.

I’ve been going to Glow Beauty Bar in Florence MA for a few months for Microneedling with Kate. I totally love the results, friends and coworkers often compliment the results of the treatments. From the very first meeting with Kate, I knew I was sold with her incredible efficiency, flawless provision of services and genuine positive energy during the delivery of services. My first time here was amazing! I was nervous but had a flawless treatment. Very professional and clean the whole time.

I reached out to Kate with advice for skin care for my “aging” skin. I don’t wear makeup and had been seeing the effects of aging in the last year, and had NO idea where to start. She recommended products and a regimen, and I have stuck with it. I am BEYOND impressed with my results. I can’t speak highly enough about her products I will never switch to anything else! I haven’t been to the spa yet as I am a busy mom of 3 with zero time without my kids, but I can 1000% guarantee the second I have time for myself I heading that way!!

I have had some wonderful experiences here. I had a great massage and some of the staff were so lovely. Unfortunately, I had a terribly rude call and it ruined the place for me. I will not be going back.

I’ve been using Glow’s VIP monthly facial service for almost two years now and have always had a pleasant and relaxing experience. Michelle is always friendly, kind, and considerate and offers alternate modifications when needed.

Every experience Ive had here has blown other salons out of the water. Most recently I got a brow wax/tint and lash tint from Nicole L., and it looks SO natural and perfect!! Im a redhead and the only other time I tried a brow tint (at a different salon), it came out almost black - I thought that was just how tints are & that I just couldnt get them with my coloring. Well, Im so glad I tried again because Nicole knew exactly how to work with fair skin/hair and found the perfect tint for my complexion, and to make my eye color pop. The lashes also perfectly complimented the brows! (Before vs. after below).

This place is THE BEST! I got a hydra facial at another provider and it destroyed my face. I had massive acne breakouts, a huge rash and itchy inflamed skin. The minute I told Kate about this, she scheduled me the next day to come in to reverse the effects! She did wonders on my skin! Her knowledge of skin and skincare puts her above the rest, but also the care she puts into her clients is just so luxurious and heartfelt. She made sure to pamper this tired mom, completely “fix” my face and send me home with products that would continue to make me feel like a queen. My face feels and looks incredible, and now I am scheduling regular 6 week visits with her! Glow beauty bar is a must for all of your skin, hair and lash needs!!

My skin has been amazingly clear and soft --like baby skin-- since I have been getting facials at Glow (started going there about once every 5-8 weeks summer 2021). My last 2 skin treatments have been hydrafacials with Kate. She is incredibly talented at pinpointing exactly what ones skin needs! I highly recommend this salon for theyre endless choices in skin care and I might also add Ive had some of my best massages ever with Darlene (add on cupping and your body will not regret it!). Oh and dont forget to schedule a session in their infrared sauna before your massage too --You can also often catch great product sales like I did today: all masks 25% off. These masks Ive been using for the past 1.5 years once a week or so and are wonderful for combination (or dry) skin that is aging.

The infrared sauna has been game-changing for me! I have rheumatoid arthritis and the winter weather is brutal on my joints. The sauna suite is lovely and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. When I heard you could do unlimited visits for a fixed monthly fee, I signed up and have been going several times a week. So much better for my skin than a hot tub, too! Kayla and Justin are amazing hair stylists; they listen to what your are looking for and deliver! Jamie has helped me on my skincare journey and she never ceases to amaze me. I suffer from hormonal acne, hyperpigmentation, and dryness (thank you winter!). With the right facial and product recommendation, she has been able to calm my acne flare ups and make me feel more comfortable in my skin. I could have been offered another service in place of the one physically cant receive, instead got hung up on and charged anyway. Woke up yesterday with a really bad yeast infection. Tired to cancel my Brazilian last night and this morning! Was told shed talk to someone and call me back before changing me. Hung up to find I was charged for services even though I cant physically get them. They could have even offered me a different service for this time. Nope as soon as I hung up I had a charge from glow beauty bar. Dont go here! They are unsympathetic and want you to come in even if you are in horrible physical discomfort/pain! Absolutely disgusted with this company. My doctor doesnt even charge me a full service fee for missing an appointment!

Requested a hydra facial specifically with Kate and waited two months for appointment, only to be switched over to another aesthetician the day before my scheduled appointment. I didn’t receive a call or was given any notice that I would be seeing a new aesthetician. This is not professional practice and I will be taking my business elsewhere as I was highly disappointed, especially being a new client. I don’t recommend.

Kate is a treasure, and Glow is a gem. Skill, experience, and knowledge, PLUS a great sense of humor, a whole lot of fun, and a totally affirming experience-- Yes please! Went in for a spray tan after a glowing recommendation from a friend. She told me her experience and it sounded like the person she had was super friendly, walked her through everything and just made her comfortable. Thinking I would have the same I decided to give it a try. The girl who did mine was short, and not super friendly. Kind of felt like I shouldn’t of been there or asking any questions. Spray tans are also super vulnerable too! You are standing there in a thong topless (mind you, I had a baby recently and this was a big step to be this exposed). She just ask if I want light or dark (no explanation of undertones or if there was a middle). Told me to moisturize tops of hands, in between fingers, tops or feet and in between toes (wish she mentioned palms cause my Palms or orange now). My friend didn’t have this issue cause the person she probably had used more words and was more Personable. No aftercare instructions just was told to show later and moisturize. I had to research on my own to find out you should only rinse with water when you get home and to avoid certain moisturizers. Just disappointed after a raving review from a friend and then get a totally different experience.

First and foremost, the salon and spa is absolutely gorgeous. It has such a warm feel and the staff enhance just that. (They offer wine too!) I have been seeing Kate for facials since summer of 2018...my skin has changed dramatically. Her skill is simply amazing and she is so helpful with products...they are always stocked with the best skin and hair care products. I literally do not buy anywhere else. Oh, she’s done my lash lift as well and OMG!!!Juli has been doing my hair for years...if you haven’t seen her craft, you should!! She is personable, funny and great to be around but she ALWAYS has me leaving the salon feeling beautiful. She picks out the best products for my fine hair to give it volume and shine when I’m at home. I highly recommend Glow Beauty Bar, you won’t regret it. P.S. they have so many additional services for bridal parties (hair/makeup) and spa parties for a night out with the ladies.

I was a teen with bad skin and without the proper skin care routine but Kate at Glow Beauty Bar has begun transforming my skin through Microneedling. I was embarrassed by my acne scarring and wanted a way to help with the texture of my skin and she knew what to do. Microneedling has helped reduce the appearance of the old acne scars and I have begun to have more confidence in my appearance. I cannot thank Kate enough for helping me with a new skin care routine and I know after a few more sessions my skin will be something to be proud of.

SO many great things about this modern, welcoming spa!My girlfriends and I recently had a ladies night at Glow and it was everything we hoped for and more. Kate and her husband, Matt, went above and beyond and made our evening so much fun. We were given robes & slippers upon our arrival to change into for our services, and waiting for us was an amazing spread of cheeses, crackers & fruit in addition to red & white wines. We had picked our services in advance (SO many options to chose from) and Kate & Matt were so organized, always making sure everyone was having something done and not just waiting around for their next service to start. Once we were all finished, they gladly let us finish our wines and mingle, not rushing us out the door so they could get home (spa was closed during our event). I would highly recommend Glow for any spa service, and will definitely be planning another ladies night in the near future!

My tween daughter has oily combo skin and was suffering from awful breakouts. Everything we tried either didnt work or excessively dried out and damaged her young skin. We came in for a teen facial at Glow and they educated her on how to care for her skin and sent her home with the Glow salicylic face wash and toner and it was life changing for our gorgeous girl. Her skin is clear and healthy, and we notice the breakouts return when she runs out of product. SO GRATEFUL! As for me, I swear by the Glow chamomile facial wash, the niacinimide brightening capsules, and regular IPL laser treatments for sun spots. I cant say enough amazing things about Kate and Glow!

I get a wax every month from GBBS & it’s always a great experience. The staff knows each of their clients really well so it always helps to know how someone’s hair grows. The studio itself is very calming and comfortable. When you walk in, you want to buy everything just because you feel at home. I’ve been seeing Kate for almost two years now and she is always on time and can always work me into her schedule when my work schedule collides. 10/10 would recommend to anybody. Best Spa in Northampton. Stop taking care of your skin yourself and go here! I never took care of my skin until I met Kate. I tried every product that was the new fad. I thought I was doing everything right until I met Kate. She has literally changed my skin and has given me a new appreciation for myself when I look in the mirror. Glow Beauty Bar is by far the best spa experience I’ve ever had. I drove an hour and 15 minutes to see what all the buzz was about and was treated like a celebrity. Beautiful ambiance. Ive had these brown sun spots on my face and hands for years. I saw Kate for an IPL Laser treatment and was amazed at 1) how short & painless the treatment is 2) how effective the IPL laser is. I also see Jaime for my nano infusion facials with dermaplaning. I would absolutely recommend Glow Beauty Bar to anyone for any of the services they offer. Great staff!

Rita provided the most soothing and relaxing CBD facial. Her kind and calm attitude provided a calm and stress-free experience. This salon is top notch in customer service, quality of products, and location/decor. Its so beautiful and welcoming inside, and the staff is even better! I will never go to another esthetician again. They are warm, highly observant and intuitive, thorough and patient, and accommodating to my every need. I go to Glow for waxing, facials, and products, and in the past have gone for makeup application and massage. Ill definitely be back for more services as they keep adding more and more awesome things to beautify our skin!I recently visited for an oxygen facial, and my skin never felt better. After some dry skin issues later, thanks to the cold weather and having a bad cold, I panicked to the owner about all my skin issues because of an upcoming wedding Im in, and she saved the day! I went for follow-up dermaplaning and a cooling mask and mini-facial and now my skin feels so healthy and smooth! They always come through and always know exactly whats right, for the individual. I also love their emphasis on organic and eco-friendly products.

I was in a wedding recently that used Glow. We got spray tans at GBBS and Jamie was awesome. She was super professional and answered all our questions. The tans came out very natural looking and lasted days. There wasnt any smell that sometimes comes along with spray tans and I had very minimal rub off. On the wedding day Juli did our hair. She was able to recreate exactly what I showed her for a style. All the styles lasted through the whole event but before she was finished she gave us one last check to make sure we were good to go. It was a nice touch! I definitely recommend Glow for any hair or spray tan needs!

I was randomly perusing Groupon one day and impulsively bought a few sauna vouchers to use here. I am fairly new to the area and have been missing what was a regular part of my healthy, California lifestyle. I was also also on a bit of a reconnaissance mission for a place to start getting facials here.The spa is housed in a really gorgeous building. Its *so* beautiful, an old factory that has been renovated for medical offices and the spa. Looks-wise it lives up to its claim as a luxury spa but the service was a little strange. Was it because I had a Groupon voucher? Or was it my easy-on/off yoga clothes and sauna-ready ponytail? Who knows. I found it a little odd when the woman who showed me to the sauna said I dont think anyone is booked after you so feel free to take a shower. Even when I used the sauna at my gym back home, shower time was built into the booking. The final weirdness was that when I left, even though there were employees hanging out chatting in the salon area, not a single person said bye, or have a nice day, or thanks for coming in, or hey check out these products we sell. This may sound so petty but really, its the little things, especially when a place books itself as luxury, and especially when youre looking for someone to take your money on a regular basis lol...

Glow beauty bar has been my absolute favorite salon Ive been to yet! Their employees are super welcoming, especially talented, and fun to be around while Im getting my hair done. I also love all of the great events they throw. I highly recommend visiting glow.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. I had my first derma planning with Kate a month ago, and went back yesterday for another session. I have extremely sensitive skin, so its a great alternative to waxing. Last week Justin colored and cut my hair, he is amazing.

I go to this salon for everything from hair cut/color with Juli to waxing/massages/ spray tans. I have never received anything but the best service. I was married a week ago, and the spray tan came out beautifully for me and my girls - and she. Juli came all the way to Stratton to do TEN updos and every single one was perfect. The level of professionalism and quality of the work at Glow is second to none!

Came in to get my teeth whitened and left with multicolored teeth. Ali and the woman at the desk were both super rude and unprofessional and acted like it was somehow my fault. Grudgingly offered to do it a second time, which burned my gums. Such a disappointing experience from a place that has such good reviews.

Had an eyelash lift - and it looked no different than when I entered the place! I’ve had better results using over-the-counter mascara. It was a waste of time and resources - they held my appointment with a card that I learned they did jr accept. Supposedly, I got my eyebrows tinted but again I looked up and it was as if they did nothing my eyes closed during these two procedures so I couldn’t say for sure if promised services were performed- the end result on both indicated otherwise. (I’ll go to GBS Brows to get the eyebrows tinted correctly and my lip area threaded).In fairness, there was one good service performed and that was the facial. Overall, a beauty school could have done better without the the outrageous price(s). Seeing what they had not done, I opted out the lip laser service - dissatisfied and not wanting further harm to be done. Later, received a voice mail message from saying a mistake was made - that they undercharged me. SmDh! This place should be correctly categorized as training salon because the services were not of a professional caliber.

I came in for a massage. It’s a beautiful location and everyone is quite friendly. It’s definitely inviting. This is my second visit. The masseuse was nice but although I was on time, the massage started almost fifteen minutes late and she ended early so I paid for sixty minutes but only got a 45 minute massage and was left soaked in oil.

I love Glow for all my spa services, facials, massage, waxing! Everyone is so sweet and helpful, and fabulous at what they do! I became a massage member and love getting the sauna with my visits!!!

I recently learned of Glow Beauty Bar through a client of mine who works there and have since been for several of their services - lash lift/tint, wax, facials (with Jaime), color by Juli (which came out so so good) , and most recently attended a hair styling class/event run by Juli. Julis a natural teacher and this event was informative, fun, and relaxing. We left with a bunch of goodies and - most importantly - some effective tools and strategies for styling our own hair. Hundred percent recommend checking out anything/everything this place has going on.

Ive been seeing the owner, Kate, for several months now and I can say that my skin has never been better. Im in my late 40s and for weeks after a facial with her, my skin looks and feels like Im in my 20s again. People have never complimented my skin so much as they have these past few months. In addition, the service itself is the most relaxing and pampering Ive experienced. I leave her studio feeling like my skin is 20+ years younger and my stress level at zero. I cannot say enough about this womans business...just go there!

Had a Mens Brazilian done by Jess and she was absolutely wonderful. Great experience and an amazing person, definitely felt comfortable and was a pleasure to talk to during the appointment. Look forward to being a regular client for the foreseeable future!

I had an appointment today and was exposed to Covid so I called to cancel. After I got off the phone I believed everything to be ok. I later receive a voicemail that I will be charged 50% of the service. If they had let me know that I would have made arrangements for my daughter or someone I knew to take my appointment. When I called back as soon as I had a second to hear my voicemail they said the appointment was gone and I’d still have to pay. I am unhappy with this as if they had given me the option on the phone at least would have made arrangements not to waste money when I was just trying not to spread Covid if I do have it. It is unfair to not let me know my options when I had called in and was in the phone with them. I spent over $1,000 just last month there. Also when I called to ask about switching my appointment to someone else they said the spot is already filled. I will take my business elsewhere. “Hi Angela this is Katie calling from glow beauty bar I just wanted to give you a call back I I just wanted to make sure I went over with you um if its OK to cancel the appointment thats fine but we do charge that 50% of the service so I just wanted to let you know that we will be doing that um I didnt mention on the phone earlier so again um give us a call when youd like to reschedule and I just wanted to make that clear thank you…”

My girlfriend got her lashes lifted and tinted there by ally, she loved her. Would highly recommend going to this spa, the entire staff is awesome and it’s wicked clean.

Confirm the location of your service if booking online because there are two locations, Hadley and Turner Falls. I called the number for Glow Studios on the website which says Hadley so that’s where I went. However, the service I was getting is at their location in Turner Falls. No one mentioned this at any time - when I called, or when they sent a text to confirm the appointment. I spoke to someone and they are clearly aware of the situation, but have not corrected the problem. Major fail.

Ashley is always so accommodating when making an appointment! She is fantastic at what she does and would highly recommend her services!

Kate used the Dya Pen and masterfully erased some pretty severe aging wrinkles. She is experienced and knowledgeable. I cant imagine going anywhere else for this treatment. The compliments were fantastic!
