Amazing place for any spa treatment honestly! I had an excellent facial treatment with Victor, Alex is the guy to go with for pedicures-manicures he has a private, clean space which is just amazing. Jimmy always super friendly and even offer different discount packages to save me some money. Overall, everyone was just friendly and welcoming.

I had far too much unprotected sun exposure over the years which resulted in multiple skin issues. I have been seeing one of the top rated dermatologists in Toronto for 10 years but he was unable or unwilling to try to resolve several of my concerns. Jimmy successfully treated them all.I have learned that he has a real passion for constantly upgrading his remarkable skincare knowledge and skills. His ability to assess the best course of action for an issue and his expertise in administering the treatment cannot be overstated. He is detail oriented and will often treat a side issue he has identified as part of your main treatment session. Equally important are his judgement in recognizing which issues should be referred to a dermatologist and his integrity in not recommending unnecessary treatments.Jimmy has put in place and mentors a talented team of skincare professionals. I have received medical grade facials, micro-needling, manicures and pedicures from them and all have been top notch.When I first read the reviews of this spa I was somewhat surprised to learn that some people travel considerable distances to receive treatments there. I will now be one of those people. J. Cohen’s Day Spa is a real gem which can be difficult to find even in larger urban areas. Highly recommended!

I have to say my best kept secret is J Cohens Day Spa. Jimmy the proprietor and his staff are extremely warm and professional. They really know how to treat their clientele. The establishment is cute, clean and run really well. The menu of services far exceeds expectations. From trimming chest hair to one and a half hour massage to a full-body treatment youll leave there wanting more. This place was honestly the best. Jimmy took care of a back wax and eyebrow wax for me. They squeezed me in with short notice and he really knew what he was doing. It was the best wax I’ve ever received. It was somehow the fastest, most pain free, and well done wax I’ve received. They have a really great atmosphere, *delicious* kombucha available when you get there, good service and a great rewards program!I don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to my eyebrows so it was awesome being able to explain what I needed and being able to lean on Jimmy’s expertise. I’m really really impressed and will be coming back! Very happy with the results.

I had gone there yesterday for the first time for a facial. Jimmy gave me the best facial Ive ever had. I am extremely high maintenance when it comes to my skin, and I get facials frequently. Jimmy explained everything he could help me with concerning my complexion. So many ways to make me look younger and feel great about my looks. He offers about 8 different facials each addressing the needs of the skin. My face looks and feels awesome. Cant wait to go back and try some of the other services the Spa offers. I think I need a wax.

Had my first visit to J. Cohen’s. It was a birthday gift to myself. I had a 90-min massage, manicure & pedicure, and a facial. The staff was amazing. With all of the covid protocols in place I felt very safe. Every service was amazing, but a top 5 massage in my life (and I get the often). Jimmy and his staff are true professionals. It was so enjoyable I bought a 4-visit package. Looking forward to my next visit!

I booked an appointment on the recommendation of a friend and I wasn’t disappointed! Everything from booking my appointment on-line, then the check in and finally my service were all easy and amazing. I’ve never had such a thorough waxing. Jimmy communicated everything he was doing and shared information on how keep my skin in great shape. Yes, there was a little upsell during my treatment, but any good business owner wants to give you reasons to come back, and I definitely will be doing just that!

I have been going to Jimmy for pedicures and facials for years. I was thrilled when I found out that he now has his own spa. The place is very clean and modern. The same goes for Clint and the rest of the staff. I always look and feel like a whole new person when I leave the spa. The spa has now expanded! There is now a sauna and a tan spray area, there are also multiple reception areas to make social distancing much easier,. The spa is impeccable- the staff super talented and friendly. I’ve been going to Jimmy for several years with exceptional results. Now with his own soon to be expanded spa - I’m excited to try more services . I’ve been for facials, waxing and massage. All excellent treatments for an amazing value.

I booked a massage online, adding a note that I wanted a deep tissue massage. When I arrived at the spa, I specifically asked the massuer if he was trained in deep tissue massage. He said that he was. What followed was 10 minutes of soft feather touch. I asked the masseur to go deeper, he did not. I finally just said that this was not what I requested, and I wanted to end the session. I felt tha I was lied to, and that the masseur (or a manager) should have coordinated to find another masseur who knew deep tissue, before I spent 40 minutes drving there. The spa is in a rather seedy, hard to find spot also. The spa itself is spotless.

My experiences with everybody at Jimmy Cohens Day Spa have been exceptional. The intensive attention to detail is obvious from the well-appointed lobby to each procedure room. This attention to detail is especially welcome during these COVID-19 times. Even though a visit to a day spa is an indulgence, it feels necessary during times of social isolation. It is great to have such reassurance when I observe compliance with all tenants of the rules of social distancing.

I have made appointments for massage 3 different times and the first two they had to cancel and the last they wanted to reschedule also known As canceling ! It’s suppose to be a relaxing experience looking forward to a massage to get a notice just hours before your appointment to ”reschedule “ because they don’t have enough time between appointments to clean the room . I suggest you learn how to schedule better ! Will not be going back to this place. You insisted I try another massage therapist . The times you cancelled were thru email the only time you reached out to me was when I asked for a refund then you called . The appointment I had yesterday was scheduled your safety protocols should already be in place when making appointments you should not have to reschedule .

This is the cleanest and most professional space i have ever encountered. Super professional management, beautiful 5 star experience. You can have wine, and A Signature Kombucha, better than anything you have tasted. For a mens spa, they make it so classy, at a value thqt seems they should be charging more. Get a free spray tan, or use a full spectrum LED light therapy sauna as part of your complimentary experience between sessions.
