I called to schedule a massage the lady told me she would check the schedule and call me back. I got a text that I was scheduled with Shawn. When I arrived to my appointment. I was greeted by Joyce and was told she would be the technician. I was confused and not giving an explanation. The massage room did not look inviting or relaxing. It was a dark office space with the autoclave and appears like a storeroom. Joyce did a good job but would not recommend if you want a relaxed spa and pampered treatment.

I just love the sound baths and meditations here! They Soothe my soul and the studio has incredible vibes! Outside is a beautiful breeze way where you feel the ocean breeze and see the big Galveston sky! Ocea and Shawn lead amazing meditations and healing sound baths! I highly recommend to anyone to go experience this bliss! Inside is decked out with healing crystals and healing tools that will suit your needs. These gals are so welcoming and truly embody their teachings and healing energy. You will be hooked.Thanks Ocea and Shawn and the entire Galveston Holistic Team for taking care of us!

Shawn is an outstanding Pilates instructor! She’s patiently helping me to strengthen my hip after being injured in the military. I’ve noticed an immense difference in my strength and mobility since starting to train with her. Highly recommend her.

Such an amazing place with amazing people. I feel at home when at Galveston Holistic Wellness.. highly recommend them from their massages to sound baths to Reiki. You wont be disappointed, thats for sure.

I called this place to try and book an appointment for my husband and I on our honeymoon and the lady seemed to be rushing me off of the phone. I asked her what all they offer on couples massages so I knew what our options were. She kept telling me repeatedly to look online and was just really rude and un inviting. Why newer the phone if you’re not going to take the time to explain to a customer what all services you offer for a couples massage.

SCAMMER ALERT!! Hello I just want everyone to be warned about you (the owner) Shelly. I tried to be professional and have reached out multiple times to you. You scammed me out of $2,000 and then ghosted me immediately. Business owners who do shady and evil acts are the worst. You call yourself a holistic person yet you take advantage of hard working people. I call that being a snake. Everyone needs to be careful doing business with a snake pretending to be a yoga and massage therapist! Also if you look at the reviews you’ll see it’s many of her staff leaving them. Again, a scammer.

I was lucky enough to find Shelly on our Thanksgiving trip to Galveston! She has a great studio mid island. She was amazing , really listened to the issues I was having & adjusted her massage to my needs. 10/10 would recommend & will definitely see her every time my family travels to Galveston!

Shawn & Ocea hosted a sound bowl meditation at our event & did a fabulous job! They created a very relaxing space & I would highly recommend them for your next event!

GHW a terrific experience! Couples massage for which one of therapists came in on her day off. That is service at its finest! The massage was spectacular and the ambiance was magnificent! Shelly is wonderful! I’ve dealt with constant discomfort and pain in my back for several years due to scoliosis, and I have only recently been able to get some relief after finding her. She truly cares about her clients, their comfort, and healing. She goes above and beyond, and I would recommend her to anyone!

I have been getting regular massages from Shelly for about 6 months now. I cant imagine going to anyone else now. She is just that good. She is working out and correcting issues that I have let build up over time, and I am feeling better than I have in years. She is professional yet still personable.

The attention to my personal needs were addressed. I have a number of skeletal and soft tissue issues. We discussed what my personal health goals are with massage. Even with a home visit, hot rocks and towels were used. I need to make Mermieux etre part of my regular well-being routine going forward!

Fabulous, just fabulous. I will definitely be going back. They’re the absolute best.
