Love this place. A go-to dive style queer bar. RuPaul’s Drag Race on Fridays is always a joy when it’s in season. The drinks are great, and there’s generally something happening. This place will always have a place in my heart.

What a great place! We’re in town on vacation visiting family, and you just never know what kind of LGBTQ+ bars you’re going to find in a red state when you’re from a blue state. What a great find Somewhere Bar is! They’re SO friendly, SO welcoming, they had good prices, a REALLY great patio with mist to keep everyone cool and happy, good music… great place to spend a (very) hot summer afternoon for some drinks and to meet some cool locals. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

Great place to hang out with friends, play pool or just people watch. There are 2 pool tables and darts in back as well as a patio out front.

I had the best experience at this bar this evening.I was roaming around Boise- made the 2 hour drive from Twin Falls. I wanted to check out the scene and get a feel for whether or not I want to live out there. I decided I wanted to end my long trek with a drink and had just passed by this spot, not knowing what to expect inside. Didn’t google it.I come from Portland and this was by far the most cozy, clean, and a welcoming bar I have been to in awhile. They obviously take really great care of the tables and beautiful booths. I love the low key swanky vibe. I don’t seek out this type of bar for my personal preference but I would go back anytime because it’s just so welcoming and friendly (I just want a drink and no one can stop me).Kelly (bartender) went above and beyond. He let me ask him all kinds of questions about recommendations in the area for restaurants and where to live/not live. Not once did he make me feel like I was annoying or intruding; it was a genuine conversation. Then I got to play some free pool on the other side of the bar so I could let my brain unwind. The pool tables are the smaller size but it’s perfect for a non-serious pool game in a social setting or to just shoot by yourself.Thanks for listening to me today, Kelly. It’s been a rough couple days and it really brightened mine.

My partner and I stopped off here after eating at a nearby restaurant. Even though we’re not LGBTQIA we were welcomed with open arms, served great drinks, and had a super friendly bartender. Thanks for making everyone feel welcome. Somewhere is where it’s at!

Got robbed here $600 straight out of my bag the bartender told me to leave after I said my money was gone if I wanted to get my money stolen I would’ve gone to a strip club highly don’t recommend if your looking for a good time 0/10

Its nice to have a place to call home for the LGBTQ+ community. Not just a home but a full service bar, dance floor, karaoke, live shows, pool, darts and great friendly service.

I am a shy guy but after stepping out I wanted to learn how to meet people. Somewhere has been a great place to do that. The bartenders have always been perfect, assuring me when I want to be a little more outgoing, and making sure I am safe when I am having a rough day. Sometimes I go for the evening entertainment, sometimes I go in the afternoon for that familiar neighborhood bar feel. Like taking a cab for some breakfast at Tiffanys I always feel better at Somewhere.

I cannot overstate this. This bar is THE BEST gay/queer bar out there. I’ve been to The Balcony before, and it doesn’t hold a tiny candle to this place. This place actually has a lot of queer people in it, versus The Balcony which has become all but an “ally” bar. Not easy to meet others who are queer and open there, but at “Somewhere,” it’s amazing! Plus drinks are amazing, and Jade who works there is amazing at bartending! And such a nice guy! Definitely cannot recommend it enough! Wednesdays are also karaoke night and it’s really fun!

Absolutely love this bar! Dylan is the best bartender! He made our whole experience so much better. He was quick to get our order, sociable, made us feel welcome, and definitely made us laugh. WE LOVE DYLAN!! We have been to so many great gay bars around thr world but this one left a mark because of Dylan. We will be sure to come back the next time were in Idaho. If you want to go SOMEWHERE? Then make sure you visit this bar the next time youre in Boise. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Drinks are stupid expensive and I dont mind an occasional drag night but 5 plus nights a week? Pour a decent drink and well be back but not paying those prices to drink a full glass of mixture.

All my friends/ coworkers stood me up so take this with a grain of salt. I show up there, get greeted at the door. Stayed for about 5 minutes waiting for the bartender. Admittedly he was pretty busy with everyone else and who was far more enthusiastic. Then I left. Atmosphere-wise it was okay. Something was just off about it and it smelled like cheap perfume. All in all I wouldnt really suggest it.

What a wonderful place! I just recently moved to Idaho and decided to check it out and real glad I did. The people were welcoming, the owners there were so hospitable and really friendly. Thank you for making me feel welcomed! I will definitely return. Im excited to see this bars growth and positive outcome in this community.❤❤❤

I just love this new Bar. Brings a great place for LGBTQi+ and more. Everyone is welcome,. The drinks are delicious and everyone is very nice. I enjoy the pool tables in the darts and cant wait for karaoke when its available.

Downhill, Tried to let a bartender know that a guy was making myself and my group uncomfortable and not only were we brushed off but treated as if we were a bother for even telling them. Really sad to see

It was a chill place with great bartenders. The overall environment had a very comfortable feel. The decor is nice. After nearly two years of not going out anywhere, this was a perfect place to start. We will be back.

Drag queens are out to get you. Over priced and drugs everywhere not lgbt friendly. Felt like I was a peice of meat do not go only if you want to be harassed.

Great customer service. The decor is light and fun. Both bar and restrooms are clean smelling and fresh. The outside area is a great hangout spot, the inside lighting and decor is fun.

Really did like this bar I stopped going there after I realized that they were taken tips for themselves without your knowledge they wait until you get drunk and then they will keep the extra money instead of giving you the correct amount of change dont give them a 20 or anything more than a $10 bill sadly

Somewhere Bar is really what the LGBTQ community needed in Boise. Eli and all the Somewhereians are the bee’s knees and this place really feels like home.

Very nicely set up, but really? This is all Boise has? Your a huge and up and coming city. Demand more venues.

The guy work monday on 4/4/22 told us to leave because he didnt get a big enough tip. proceeded to follow us to our car and call the cops I will be calling corporate
