Victorias Nails Spa in Garden City is my favorite place to go for my pedicure. I ALWAYS go to Kim, she is the absolute best. She always takes her time with it and leaves me with the prettiest french gel pedicure ever. I cant ever cheat on her, shes the best!! The place is very clean and everyone is so friendly. Ive been coming here since I was 15, i am now 22!
Horrible customer service. They LIED by telling me that a top coat could not be applied to a nail design I received, even asking for a top coat several times. They kept refusing to do it. Ended up putting the top coat on & they look so much better. The nail techs & front staff were so rude & pushy. I spent too much money to be treated so poorly. I will NEVER go back again!
$53 for a botch job. I went into to get acrylic removed, a manicure and pedicure. They kept insisting that I got gel even after I was adamant that I only wanted a manicure and pedicure. I won’t use his name BUT the tech that serviced me did a horrible job. When I said it’s final - Please do a manicure and pedicure - no gel, he did the most rushed and sloppy job. Every time I pointed out an issue he was even more sloppy. He stayed on his phone even while doing my nails. It was the most lumpy and sloppy mani pedi I’ve ever gotten. I had to ask for lotion, a piece of my cuticle was ripped off and when I told him it hurts he said “no it doesn’t”. This is what I get for cheating on my nail tech out of convenience. Idk about the other nail techs that work here but the guy that did my nails definitely needs some additional training - or to perhaps do a job he actually enjoys. When I told him my feet couldn’t reach the water instead of moving up the chair, he splashed water on my feet. Will not be returning and would not recommend anyone to go there either.
Popped in to get my eyebrows snatched and I was pleasantly surprised. They do threading which Im cool with and the tech was nice, she threaded me back to looking human lol she did a great job! Fast and courteous
If i could give stars i would. dont even know the nail techs name, he was an older male. i told him i needed them shorter and one nail was cracked. willing to pay for a new one. he disregarded everything i said, uneven shape, and bumpy nails. i couldnt even let him finish . ive never walked out of a nail salon before. but when your tech is sucking their teeth bc theyre getting annoyed at you, its time to go. also never showed me colors and was annoyed i didnt have one picked. never coming here again. super sloppy application and uneven nails. now have to take them off at home for an event tomorrow

Money hungry! i paid over $200 here and they had the audacity to charge me $7 because i had dip on my nails and wanted gel. why are you charging me for that when its the same process??? i wont be returning!

The male nail tech that I had sucked. He was more interested in what was going on everywhere else. He and several others made me feel very uncomfortable. When they look you up and down start laughing and talk to each other in there language you know your being talked about. Never saw anything being cleaned and sanitized. Never going back

Unfortunately is just a money maker place , they do nails pretty but they shipped right away 😵💫🙄😑 and I’m talking about few times , I’ll go for necessity because I’m in a rush and have to do everything in the mall , the employees are nice , but is not the place where they dedicate you sometime and spoil you or none of that , 🤷🏻♀️😑 is in and out , if you in a rush this is the perfect 👍 place

I tried this place out from a recommendation but I won’t be returning. My most rushed nail experience ever. Barely any prep work, didn’t soak off my old set instead popped them all off very aggressively and made one of my nail beds bleed, painted the polish on carelessly. My pedicure was better than the set but I left knowing I was going to have to fix them when I got home. Nice people I will say but very poor quality over charged nails. If for some reason you go here ask them which nail tech has the best reviews.

Horrible experience. I came in for a classic French nail set. To start off the lady made my nail bed bleed because she ripped the acrylic off. After that, I told her I wanted square nails and the shape was awful, they looked like duck nails. She put one coat of nail polish and you can see through the nail polish. I kept telling her if she could please fix it and she barely touched them. The lady painted over lint and you can see that there is specks of dirt on my nails that she painted over. Don’t come here.

This place is horrible. Just took my two daughters to get powered manicure. I asked them how much for the French powered and was told it was $55 and regular powered manicure would be $45. My youngest daughter nails was so short and I did think she could of gotten the French but theses people are so greedy for money…the nail tech rather grind down my daughter nails till she started crying just to charge extra money. Then when I went to pay…I was told that French Manicure was $65 for a little girl. The charge whatever price they want…no set price. The saw me wearing an expensive handbag and figured they can rip me off!!! I will NEVER GO BACK! Greedy for MONEY …run that place like a fish market. I had to give one star in order to post this but they don’t deserve no stars…

I am only giving this place 3 stars because in the past, Jason used to do my gel nails and they are amazing. Today I came in and wanted a regular mani-pedi. The guy who did my nails was clearly in a rush to leave, probably for lunch. He did an OK job at the pedicure, however I had to keep telling him to remove the dead skin and cuticles on my feet. Even after telling him for the 2nd time, he still didn’t remove all the peeling skin on my feet. At that point, I gave up and decided I will just fix it myself at home.

I had a miscommunication with the person doing my nails regarding a color misunderstanding and instead of just discussing and reassuring me that there was a misunderstanding, I was given and attitude and left feeling very hurt. Regardless, the person doing my nails was quite good at doing nails. When I went to speak to the manager, I didn’t expect to leave the store even more upset, but I did. She continued to invalidate my feelings and was ruder than my first encounter. The only thing that was good was the skill set of the workers, but otherwise, no matter the skill set, I don’t want to give business to a place that does not have customers well beings and best interests in mind. Especially when the manager is not enforcing a good customer environment as well.
The salon space is large and clean, I didnt have to wait too long for my previous appointment, everything happened very quickly and the results were great!
Worst experience ever!!!! My powder gel manicure was not 45 bucks. And left my hands all with gel residue. Jay was not a good nail tech. Very aggressive with the mail drill. I was a walk-in. Make sure you ask who’s a great nail tech before getting your nails done.

I walked in there for a gel manicure. All they needed to do was just put on the polish for me. I already did all the cutting and filing on my own and I also told them I didnt need my cuticles touched either, just a push back. The Vietnamese lady there didnt even do the push back for me and did a haphazard job with a pretend hand massage which was just rubbing on my top hand for 1 second. No hot towel, no nothing. Didnt even ask what it was that I wanted at all, besides the color. Her job applying the coats were sloppy and thats pretty much all she had to do and it ended up being all over my skin, and she didnt even fix that at the end. It is indeed like a factory with like 50 workers rushing and rushing like theres some kind of line, which there wasnt. It probably took less than 15 minutes for these so-called gel manicure. She didnt understand much English or maybe she pretended she didnt. I didnt complain about anything besides the polish being on half of my fingers skin because I wanted to see the end result because after all that I just wanted my nails and be out and done, even if it was a less than average job. I tried to sympathize with her and I was calm and cordial till the end regardless thinking maybe my nails may have been short already from her opinion or that it was a dark color so more noticeable with flaws, etc. just half blaming myself for the poor service and bad job. However she still should have asked but honestly with the whole rushing I didnt even get a chance and by that time I was done giving this place a chance. I tipped her 25% still for the $30 job despite everything. For almost $40 it wasnt worth it. Shes lucky that I dont like conflict and I tried to be patient. Try not to go here unless its an absolute emergency. I knew I should have trusted my instincts.

I love Victoria’s Nails. The do a great job with UV Gel. They are masters. The do my UV Gel fill-ins in record time. They are done to perfection. I get compliments on my nails all the time.

I never write reviews, but i feel like i should.i won’t lie… it’s clean, fast service and friendly, the only problem is the prices. i understand that getting acrylic nails ISN’T cheap, but i definitely feel like i got ripped off. i got almond shaped nails with french tip and 2 little hearts drawn on the middle finger. i was charged $90! that’s way too much for a simple design!! the worst part is that the guy that did my nails didn’t really know how to draw the heart. i asked him to make it smaller and he said he couldn’t. i understand it’s not an easy job but it’s literally the least you can do if you’re doing nails. i was very surprised and astonished at the price. i won’t lie, they came out nice but not $90 worth nice.i may be exaggerating but this is how i feel. be mindful of what you are getting done and be aware of the prices.

The service was terrible! I showed the young man a picture of the nail art. He told me that the shop doesn’t do that, which was a lie. He then was really rude throughout and yelled at me for accidentally touching one of the nails. When I did not tip him b/c the service was that bad, he said “no tip. I don’t need.” This was my first experience and now the last!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! My technician informed me he was going away and told me the exact date of his return to work. I arrived for my appointment and was told there was no appointment made, basically calling me a liar and was asked very loudly and rudely, what am I supposed to do ??!! Never apologized or offered another technician. I said Do nothing, and you will never get another penny out of me!!! And i left. The tech has since returned and asked me to return. Never will I return or refer anyone to this place

I went in for acrylic nails with gel color. The shape of the nails were off and the acrylic was too thick and bulky, I was cut on one finger. I came out spending $60. The service was rushed. Tom did my nails and he had the nerve to ask for a tip. Only thing good about this place is there color selection. I will not be returning.Also, there responses on the reviews must be automated because when I received a response from the review someone stated to call and speak about my experience. When I called and asked for the manager or the person who responds to the reviews the lady on the phone did not know what I was taking about and declined to help me.
By far the quickest pedicure Ive ever had. Was being up sold constantly when I said I wasnt interested. For thirty dollars I should be in that seat for at least twenty minutes. I think she was done in about ten to fifteen. Everything was rushed I feel because I didnt want to spend extra for all the bells and whistles. Ill stick to my cheaper but more attentive spot locally

Went to go fix 2 nails, guy didn’t understand that I wanted to fix them he ruined 2 other different nails . He cut one and filed down on two separate nails I didn’t even ask to do. Got up right away and complained. Then 2 workers gave an attitude even though it was the guys fault. 2 of the workers were consistently arguing very loud. They said they’ll call us in 45 min to come and redo all 4 of the nails and for the price of 2. Came back 50 min later since they didn’t call us and then she said wait another 15 minutes after waiting 10 plus 50 min before hand, so we got up and left. This place is ridiculous and don’t care about their customers. If you want to get your nails done nicely and kindly DO NOT GO HERE.

Cut my nails in different directions when I complained it was an issue. Said they would take 5$ off I don’t need 5$ off I need my nails done correctly. Kept trying to sell me more than what I came in here for. After refusing she was upset and rushed through my pedicure making it not worth the money. I didn’t want to tip her because her service was absolutely horrible. When I requested the manager they told me he wasn’t in.
I’m so over this place in the beginning of the month I went to get my nails done they were getting ok.. but one of them popped off so I went first thing in the morning and the host gave me such a hard time she was trying to explain to me that there was no one to do my nails (because I probably wasn’t getting a full set) but I spent 70 dollars already the day before , I basically had to tell her I’m not leaving without getting my nail fixed .. the lady who did my actual nail was pleasant and I tipped her for I guess the “inconvenience” they made me feel. I’ve been going to this nail salon since I was a highschooler I’m over the treatment that I consistently get from the establishment to the point I legit decided to learn how to do my own nails smh with the busy schedule I already have. I REFUSE to put my money in this place anymore .. my friends all use to come here together now I’m joining them in learning how to do my nails.

3 weeks ago was my first time ever having my nails tips done as well as my pedicure . I left happy and excited telling many of my Lady friends that I believe this is the place . Until today on 6/23/21 I walked in to get a nail fill in and was greeted very poorly by a lady that said she was the manager . She immediately was very harsh with her words . This manager seem very verbally violent we’re I sincerely believe if she could hit me she would . Im so sorry to say that the guy tech who took care of me was professional but the lady manager who had no name tag was very scary . Maybe it would be a good idea for the state to come a visit the verbal abuse I received today . It’s not a safe place for me .
I went in for a manicure the lady said I was complaining too much and attempted to try and hit me I am six months pregnant and her coworkers had to escort her to the back manger then came up to me and told me I shouldn’t have complained so much.I can’t believe this happened I would never recommend this would have never happened if I was not pregnant I felt helpless and scared. I will be filing a lawsuit
First off, I paid more to get my nails done here than anywhere else. I guess because its the mall. I sit down the lady removes the Covid partition for safety. I asked her to put it back but she didnt. Then she proceeded to take off my old nails by just ripping them off I said no way that hurts Id rather soak them off. She used a technique Ive never seen before. Then she did ny nails I got Dip Powder. They looked beautiful the first two days. Then each nail started to crack. Within a week all of the nails were either broken or cracked. Worst service ever and I will NEVER BE RETURNING!

First time using the services of this salon. I was taking my niece out for her 16th birthday and part of the day was for gel manicures and pedicures.First of all they kept pushing us to get gel pedicure instead of regular pedicure which we had requested. Without exaggeration, she was asked at least 10 times, even though she kept saying know. Then they kept pushing her to get nail extensions. They even brought someone else over to explain why it was better. We kept refusing.The manicure tables needed to be cleaned and sanitized. It was obvious that was not a priority nor cleaning the tools after each customer.When it came to pay for 2 pedicures and 2 gel manicure, I almost fell over. The price was $195.00!!!! I was not at the Ritz Carltons spa. It was my mistake not to check the price. I have gotten thousands of gel mains and pedis. Never, ever was it even close to what I was charged. I assumed even if it was a bit more than others it would be ok. But never in my wildest dreams I would ever think 2 pedicures and 2 gel manicures would be almost $200.00!!!! Thats before the tip.I was so very angry and upset that I was ripped off. Of course I told them about the charges and they said it was the price. I will never, ever go back to that establishment, and I will shout it from the roof tops to anyone who would listen.**I dont write reviews. I never do. But this was so upsetting, that this is my only recourse.

For the past few times I’ve gotten a powder gel manicure from this nail place it has been very bad. Also the removal process was terrible.It lasted about a week and a half before it cracked. My nail split! Also, twice I’ve been cut by a tool and they continued to dip my nails. I will not go back because I do not think it is sanitary and my nails have been done VERY poorly.

This is going to be a no for me because of the person who did my nails. It was a older man. Put too much nail polish and had to file it off and re do and he messed up the other nails by filing them on the sides . He filed off the nail polish and I was in a rush that I didnt even get to tell someone else to fix all the mistakes he did. Also his hands were shaking making it unable for him to do my nails good.

Runs like a factory. I had a horrible regular pedicure. Ive been there before and spent more money (spa treatment mani pedi) where the service was stellar. So perhaps when you spend hundreds you get better service.

I went to get my eyebrows and lips waxed and after it was over my face was burning but i didn’t think much of it. i’ve been getting my eyebrows and upper lip waxed since i was young and this has never happened. it looks like my skin was ripped off and i found out i was burned by the wax and it’s really red. they also double dipped the wax stick back into the pot. horrible experience would not recommend.
