My husband saw this while walking around Waikiki, so we gave it a try. It’s a small place but it is a hidden gem. Coco is so knowledgeable and worked hard to give us the best massage. When you are in Waikiki, Please give them a try, and have the massage you’ll never forget. Thank you Coco!

Wish I had a great experience like other reviewers. Booked a one-hour massage for Coco because of previous reviews—didn’t get Coco so that was not good. Noise from street & beeping from a phone took away from experience. Massage was decent. After a massage I’m usually allowed just a wee bit of time since I should be relaxed, but I was rushed out - there was a couples massage right after me & they needed the table I was on. They’re all very nice but I go for a massage for the quiet, peaceful ambience & hope to leave relaxed; unfortunately, I got neither. But I’m only giving 3 stars instead of 2 because they were very nice to my kids who were waiting & the person who did my massage did get at some knots in my shoulders & back.

I was able to book an appointment the same day. Coco (Xuelin) was my massage therapist. I have chronic back pain and she was able to provide the deep tissue massage I needed for relief. She found the knots and areas that needed attention. She made sure I was comfortable in every way. You may hear noise from the streets below when people yell, but that’s not something they can control. This was one of the best massages I’ve had.

Amazing massage right in the middle of Waikiki. One of the best massages I’ve had in awhile. Deep pressure hit the right spots. I wish I did 1.5 hrs instead of just one. Will be back here if I ever visit Hawaii again. Awesome staff also!

We had a couples massage and the massage was everything! They listened to where you had issues and worked out the knots so good. We had a 90 minutes session, and the hot stones were chef’s kiss! My husband is thinking about going back for one more before we leave Hawaii.

Stumbled upon this place when looking for a last minute massage and it was such a great find! The staff is so friendly and the couples massages were amazing! We added the hot stones for $10/per person and it was definitely worth it. The masseuse periodically checked in to make sure the pressure and everything was okay which is very much appreciated! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to save money but still get a high quality massage!

Booked a couples massage and we went to the wrong building but Coco was waiting outside for us and led us inside. We only did a 60 min massage but it was worth it and they started right away as soon as we got there so you really get your full 60 min massage. A little bit hole in the wall massage place but the quality of the massage is really awesome. Would highly recommend if ever you are in the Waikiki area since it’s right in the middle of Waikiki and very accessible across from Ross.

Came here for a foot massage with my wife. Was very relaxing! Be mindful of which massage spa you go into because there are two on the same floor lol. Amar is all the way down the hallway and not directly next to the elevator!

What a great massage! Coco did an incredible job in the 60 mins. She beat me in the best was possible and the hot stones were a perfect soothing add-on. I wish I had time for 90 mins, but was running late to a dinner because of the previous reviewer.I was getting onto the table when the previous reviewer started yelling about the scam. After she left, the owner upstairs came and spoke to Amar about what happened, so Im certain its not some dual scam as the reviewer claims. Based on previous reviews, Amar Massage always meets their guests out front since the building has no signs. But there IS a sign for Amar when you walk in the room, which is also seen in all the pictures.It seems like it was a misunderstanding that the scout assumed the reviewer and her mother had a massage with Amar. Karen then goes to the police. Its like watching an episode of White Lotus.

My husband and I booked the couples massage for 60 minutes, and they were very generosity able to get us in the same day! The massages were extremely relaxing and well though through, my masseuse focused on my back since I had a lot of knots, and my husbands focused more on legs. They really do cater to your needs! Deep tissue massage was great - good pressure (similar to acupressure in Chinese traditional medicine) and they use coconut oil and hot towels. Pay cash to avoid 4% extra charge with credit card.

Coco was very nice and accommodating. She allowed me to sit in the lounge chair instead of lying on my back since I’m pregnant. I got the foot massage and foot scrub done. I was very relaxed and felt great afterwards.

The Massage therapist answered her phone 3 times to book other appointments during our 60 min couples massage which is extremely distracting, not relaxing at all. We could hear every word that was being said.There was a 3rd lady that took our money at the front desk. Therefore, I don’t know why the front desk person couldn’t answer all the in coming phone calls? I feel extremely disappointed and ripped off. No discount was given.We don’t recommend this place. Go somewhere else!

They are located on the second floor, so be sure to use the elevator. When I called ahead they had my masseuse, Ruihong, meet me on the lower level and escort me up. She works magic, I recommend her.

CON ARTISTS!!! STAY AWAY!!! I was just scammed.This business is located on the 2nd floor. We had an appointment with another massage business on the 7th floor (Hawai’i Massage Clinic ). Amar has a scout stand outside and pretend to be Hawai’i Massage Clinic and bring you to their floor instead. They gave my mom and I a massage and then tried to charge more than what was expected (as per my reservation with the massage clinic). When I questioned it, they said they were a different massage place.I went upstairs to let the Hawai’i Massage Clinic know (since I was going to be automatically charged 100% of the missed reservation). They let me know that I was still going to be charged 100% for the missed massage appointment. They also said that they previously spoke to Amar massage about this problem because they had done it before.Now I am questioning if both massage places are in on the scam. Of course I am only speculating, but what a great scam one or both businesses have going.I spoke to local law enforcement and they cannot do anything because Amar is not verbally impersonating Hawai’i Massage Clinic. They greeted us with “Hi, you have a massage appointment”.Our own fault for falling for the scam, but I want to warn others. Good luck!

I booked coco for a couples massage for my mom and I. Coco was great! She met us outside and prior to entering the elevator. She had two gals - Kristina and Amy work on us. They were excellent! Kind, accommodating, and very focused on ensuring they targeted our problem areas at the desired pressure. They used either oil or lotion and wiped it off afterwards with a warm towel so you don’t feel too oily. I was able to book same day, which was GREAT! The room was cute too with a calm environment/music. Coco had some cool waters waiting for us afterwards, which was refreshing.

Went for couple massage with my wife. Coco and Michelle were our masseuse. My wife has a delicate build and she thought her massage was good. I have a dense build and Michelle was still very strong. I prefer a stronger deep tissue massage and was happy. Definitely make sure to get the hot rocks! One of the best massages I’ve had.

Booking for the appointment was very easy through their online site! They reached out immediately to confirm the appointment. I managed to book a couple’s massage last minute and everything was great! We got to the building area and they were right outside to bring us inside.I think my masseuse was Vivian and she did amazing. She would check in me throughout if i was comfortable and the amount of pressure she was applying.

The best decision we made today was to book a family massage with Coco and her crew. This was easily one of the most best massages Ive ever recieved! Cocos technique was impressive, the pressure was just right, and we all walked out feeling like relaxed jello. My 15 year old daughter was made to feel very comfortable during her treatment. We each opted for half body/half foot. Prices were very fair. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I booked a 90 min couples massage. Prior to our massage, the hostess was very communicative! From the moment we stepped in, everyone was super friendly, warm, and accommodating. Christina and Kyoko helped us both for our session (I hope I spelled their names correctly).My husband is generally a hard person to massage but Kyoko did a wonderful job. Christina went to work at my back. Suffice to say, I was extremely loose and relaxed afterwards. The flexibility in my neck improved quite a bit!Overall, I think we will be coming back on our next trip back to Oahu!

My wife and I came last year originally and had such a good experience that we came back twice this year during our honeymoon.They are very attentive and they will really work on certain parts as needed. Coco was absolutely amazing with a combination deep tissue massage, walking on my back, thai, swedish, etc. I have neck and back issues and two weeks ago when we flew in I was really nervous to go to someone after a VERY painful 8 hour flight. I had a 90 min massage with hot stones and afterwards I actually walked out mostly pain free for the first time from a massage. The problem I mainly went in for was completely fixed. It was so good (and she spent so much time on my back) I came back for a 2 hour massage to finish my body and get more back work the following day. Prices are extremely reasonable and competitive. Personally I think shes undercharging for her abilities. The building might look a little shady but its not and its clean and sanitary. She was great on communicating where to go and asked to let me know when I got there (her office is on the 2nd floor of a guarded building) so she came down and got me.She did excellent work on deep tissue and working out the stress in my neck and between my shoulder blades. Always asked if pressure was ok or too much. Coco was NOTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL and even put some ointment to on my back. She uses a variety of techniques, asks what areas you want to focus on and if you need more pressure or less, make sure to use your voice. You are paying for the service and she will NOT be offended. If you want a whole body I would specifically state that as if you are like me and have major issues, she could get stuck on that area trying to help provide relief for you and then you might not get the rest of the areas you want. This isnt just for her, this is a tip for any massage you get.I get A LOT of therapeutic massages for muscle tightness issues, she was one of the best Ive had in the past 10 years of getting at least 40+ massages a year. I normally wouldnt write reviews but I hope this helps someone else. Im a very research oriented person so I look at all the reviews good and bad. I didnt believe she could possibly have this high of a review, and I always take reviews with skepticism. Shes the REAL DEAL. When I come back, I will definitely be booking with her again. And if you are looking for something during busy season call before to make sure you can get an appointment! I got lucky she had availability going to the island in the off-season. She also has some great knowledge of hikes on the island, so make sure to ask her!

Went there April 29th together with my sister and it was such a fun and relaxing experience. Besides great massages that released a lot of tension we had pictures of us taken with the „lei“ floral wreath on our heads. Everyone was very friendly and we had a nice chat with the people there.

On a recent visit to Hawaii my legs and hips were in constant pain from walking too much. A friend recommended that I get a massage to help relieve the pain. I did this on the day I was leaving and met with Coco who gave me an outstanding massage with hot stones to the painful areas. I left Amar Spa with NO pain for the first time in days! It has been a week and still no more pain. I will add that I am 82 years old thanks to Coco my only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner. I called this morning for a massage, Coco answered and was on the way in to the spa, she said come at 10 and I will meet you on the 1st floor to take you upstairs and the spa. I was early, she took me up to the spa, got me set up in a room. Amy then cam in a gave me a phenomenal massage. I told her my shoulder blades had been very sore. She spent extra time on them, including doing some hot stone therapy on them which was very healing. I highly recommend Amar Waikiki Massage Spa!

Michelle was amazing! Hands down one of the best massages I’ve had. She incorporated acupressure with stretching into the massage and got to places no other masseuse has. I feel refreshed and ready for my 15 hour flight home! A must before flying back. 2 hours of total relaxation.

I’ve come back twice and Michelle and Coco have helped with deep tissue and hot stone therapy after surfing and riding a motorcycle all day around Oahu. Cannot recommended them more highly.
