Hong Massage

This was exactly what I was looking for traditional Asian massage place. It was clean super affordable. My therapist was excellent and really working out the tightness and issues and I love that they actually walk and get on your back. That’s a major selling point for me really get in there, honestly the only downside was I kind of wish they just had music playing exclusively in each individual room there was a little noisy with other people talking and distractions outside since it’s just a curtain between the doorways, but I would totally return again. Should I come back and visit this way and I would recommend to support it locally for sure as a traveler.

The lady didn’t use oil at all. She barley massages any of my body except my shoulders and back.She took a phone call in the middle of the massage. She sat down on the table while massaging me.Kept making sighs and noisesWorst massage I ever received

It is a no-frills type of place. Despite of the mixed reviews however my experience was great!! My appointment was at the spur of the moment and was accommodated with no problems, so I was grateful for that. Lisa was very professional! She did attend customers walking-in during my session but made up for it in the massage. She massaged my entire body from the top of my head to my toes covering every area very well front and back and asking if the amount of pressure was good. She didn’t use oil at first (which I was OK with) but then asked if I wanted oil (which I said “yes”). I walked off the table feeling brand new and very satisfied with my massage. Very friendly staff, but communication is a bit challenging. Went in for the foot chemical peel and a full body massage. Freya (I think that was her name) provided a great Chinese massage (this differs from Thia, or other Asian countries so be prepared for a slightly different experience if you are not familiar with it). The chemical peel did not happen despite my attempts to show 2 employees the option on their website. Instead it was a 5 minute footbmassage with oil. Will go back, just not for a chemical peel.

WONDERFUL!!! I have been coming to Hong massage for at least a decade and will not go anywhere else, and I have tried many massage places. I like a therapeutic massage that may be harder than some can tolerate. But it is great for me; I have chronic stress headaches (migraines? who knows) and this is the best thing I have found to help them. It is convenient and easy, staff are friendly and very professional. Give yourself a treat!

My back was all jacked up from flying nonstop and being on the road all the time. I went in between work appointments, hoping for some help, and Endy did a phenomenal job! I am built like a Mack truck so it’s not the easiest task to dismantle knots in my lower back etc but she worked hard and sorted me out. Far too often when I ask for deep tissue I get some whimsical Swedish rundown that does nothing for me. Endy went deep with elbows, thumbs, forearms and hands to break up and all knots and make me feel brand new.

Like most people these days, I work long hours sitting at a desk, hovering over a computer. I have developed constant neck soreness and stiffness, along with back and shoulder pain. One session with Lisa made the world of difference! I felt increased mobility and ease of pain.Lisa was cheerful, thoughtful, and kind. She was professional and used great skill. I will continue message therapy with Lisa and recommend anyone suffering from Sitting Syndrome to make an appointment with her, too.

I got Noomy and he was wonderful, gentle on my legs & also was harder on my back where I asked him to increase pressure. He speaks some English. Love the whole atmosphere.Way better than massage envy.

1st time here & If your looking for a terrible foot and back rub( NOT A MESSAGE) with an unprofessional miserable worker. This is your place!!! An absolute Joke of Reflexology and a message???? Unfortuntialty, Lisa provided services. I usually get reflexology in the Atlanta area when I am working there. Let just say if you want Amazing TRUE foot reflexology and free 15 minute upper back message Atl. Is where its at! Here a Hong.... Lisa wad rude, inpatient. The sec. I laid down on table she asked me, if I would be paying $ or Card.... I was exteremly put off with that Unprofessionalism. What did it matter? She complained about working all the time. She was irritated when I took 20 sec. To put on my socks before she started to torture my back. She never asked where on my back needed attention (Remember peeps, this place does NOT a true Message) I am petite & she was brutally to agressive. It felt like she was taking her misery out my back. I Repeatedly had ask her to slack off. Check out..... as others mentioned in reviews.... she wasnt grateful for tip, almost disgusted with it. After all the Terrible reviews of this joint.... nothing has been done to improve this place. The worst experience I have ever had.

This whole experience for my boyfriend and I was horrible. I’ve had several massages over the years and this was by far the worst. My boyfriend was supposed to get a 30 minute message but it was 20 mins and he was charged $60. While I had my 1 hour message the masseuse got up several times to check on the people entering the shop. We paid $140 total for the experience and still tipped $15 to be courteous although the experience was horrible already. However they made it very clear that our $15 tip was horrible and gave us very disgusting looks. I would not recommend.

Let me start by saying I came here on two occasions. The first time I came it was a great experience. The lady was knowledgeable and gave a wonderful massage one of the best I have had. She also was able to fit me in on short notice. The second time I tried coming to this place was today 1/12/18. When I asked if I could have a 60 min massage. She said we are too busy you will have to come back later. I asked if I could make an appointment for a later time she said to come back at 1 she didnt take may name nor did she write anything down saving the appointment for that time. So I didnt come back and I went somewhere else. I am very disappointed. With the customer service. I may try it again but with the way I was treated I will probably go back to Natural alternative day spa.

The place is what it says it is, its a legit massage parlor. Its not a swanky place. They struggle to keep staff, however there is one very professional and experienced lady who will remove any tension you may have, and make you feel loose and comfortable. She had her foot broken recently, and has had to hobble around for a few months, on crutches, but the business itself is run very cleanly. I have seen the owner on multiple occasions, and seems to take care of his employees. Ive been going since of May 2021 for back issues, and Ive never had an issue with the business. Always kind and courteous, I usually pay too much because its a very good, deep, professional back massage.

I got a 90-minute massage and when I got out of bed my whole body felt very relaxed. Professional masseuse! Great. Ill be back!This place is recommended!

Booked my appointment beforehand and arrived 10 minutes early because i didnt know what to expect. I wasnt greeted and when i finally was they were rushing and had an attitude. Had me wait 10 minutes and put me in the room told me to undress and lay down as soon as i was about to lay down they walked in and told me i would have to wait an hour because another appointment walked in. I simply got up and left because i didnt have the energy to deal with unprofessionalism.

I travel often out of the state and out of the country. This is the best massage place I’ve been to in Knoxville. It beats out massage envy and the one in west town mall by a lot. The lady that did my massage was very attentive. She only left the room to get the hot towel. She covered every area very well. I should’ve read the reviews, I believe he was the owner and I was trying to explain my situation but he wouldn’t give me a refund cause he said he “thinks I’m gonna try and her another through my bank”. Sounds like fraud and that was the first time I was accused of even doing such a thing. I have money, your staff made me feel uncomfortable and that’s why I wanted a refund.

Let me start by saying I have never had a massage. The first time I went to Hong Massage I didn’t know what to expect. But I know from what I’ve saw on tv I wanted skin on skin contact, with maybe some oils or lotion. Nope! It was her grabbing at me through a towel!! It was alright, but not at all what I expected or wanted. A month or so later my mother had passed away and I had been so tense. I live an hour away, but I work in Knoxville. So one day at work I had a bad headache and I just felt I needed a massage. I called around no one could get me in on my lunch break so I call Hong massage. I said I wanted skin on skin, and some lotion of some sort. Through broken English she assured me all would be accommodated.To make this long story short I came out needing a massage I couldn’t move my neck for two days. I kept telling she was hurting me. I kept saying that hurts you’re hurting me. And she continued. Finally I asked her to just run the legs for the lay of the session. And out comes the towel! She grabbed at me through the towel for a few mins, and she said ok I’m done. I still had 10 minutes. I didn’t even say anything. I will NEVER visit this place again!

The lady was absolutely amazing. I fell asleep a few times. She manually stretched my legs as she was working on me. As a tree climber I am not as flexible as I should be. This is definitely what I needed. Went in sore, came out fresh and revived.

Too commercial they recently had price hike ( that’s ok) but if you do not give good tip they make faces and misbehaving actions . Unbelievable to see the reaction in my last visit . I was regular for couple years but now I have decided not to go there anymore . Looking for alternative in knoxville .

I went there with extreme back pain and was in awkward situation. They welcomed me and helped make me comfortable. Also they catered well to me having a guest.

Very good overall experiance. Ive been to 40+ massage facilities. Have had 100s of massages and I give them 4/5 for massage. Not a Spa like setting, but very clean and facilitating.

Waited in room for massage fo a while. Lie on table paper and cover with paper. Room only has a curtain to close, no door. No aromatherapy or oil used. When leaving after you pay, they ask you to please leave a tip. Won’t be back

Very bad massage and they just care about the tip and they charge me $70 for 1 hour plus $40 tips and she cut the time it’s not even 35 minutes, very bad massage with no experience, don’t west your time!
