Ive been fortunate to have 2 performances at this venue now and I loved each time! Parking under the bridge is free!
The Pilot Light has the most interesting and artistic musical guest in town! It is a little beer only bar, but the talent they bring in is amazing.
A great place to see an Indy, punk, metal, or whatever kind of show. Their venue is small but has great sound. Everybody is friendly and the beet is cold and cheap.
Bands were cool and you get to meet some different people here out of the ordinary regular people nice rock, rock out music not my regular hat I usually go to but had to turn it backwards and rock out this night!
I spent $1000 for a VIP pass to the Big Ears Festival and traveled across the country to go there. Went to go to a show at the Pilot Light and the doorman, young African American guy with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, rudely said we dont honor VIP here. youre just like everybody else here. Get to the back to the line! The place is a complete dive and smells like stale beer and urine anyway. Ill be filing a lawsuit for false advertisement to get my money back for the tickets that we dont honor here.
GREAT dive bar. All the beer selection you need. Went for a stand up comedy show. Hilarious and conscientious staff. Def worth the stop for a quick beer and some funny stories.
Make no mistake about it. This place is a dive; and proud of it! That said, its the Y-Combinator of music. Pick your genre, if somebodys pushing the envelope on any musical style, youre more likely to come across it here than any other venue in the South-East.
It was incredible stuffy and I feel insulted that I paid 5 dollar for the performers (used very loosely) to just sit on the ground and read from their phones or just stare at their laptop. I get that performing is hard but that just kind of sucked. Sorry. Sorry.
The bartender was super nice
Dirty and divy hipster hangout with a cash only bar serving cheep can beers. They host some decent events and music from time to time but also not really
Great place to see local bands and make good friends
My favorite anything club ever. If youre into metal, soul, dance, puppet shows, comedy, punk, rock, you name a weird genre then this is the perfect spot.
Great small venue/beer bar, in the Old City. Ive attended and played many shows here, always had a blast, and its easy on the wallet.
A rare gem where genuine music is allowed to thrive. A well-decorated dive bar for all genres - acoustic drone folk, post-punk, comedy, experimental, electronic, prog, etc.
The Pilot Light is listed by Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood as her favorite independent music venue (see pitchfork.com).
This is just the best. Have cash and be ready to dance. Dont have a panic attack for no reason like I did thatll really ruin your night.
Cool place for underground Music!! Come and support the local music... if you dont no one will!
Local music here is always the best. Great place, a staple of the knox music scene.
Good bands, weird bands, unique sounds. Always a good time to be had at Pilot Light.
Cash only dive bar with cheap beer and bands you wont see anywhere else.
One of Knoxville coolest venues. Definitely worth checking out.
Best place to see a show in town. Great place to meet the natives.
Pilot Light is the greatest place in the world!
Had a great time at Cash Only Comedy night!!
Cool venue for indie music!
If you value your safety, please stay away from this location.ANTIFA organize here.
If you like the smell of urine, this is the place to be
Best thing in this sprawl hellscape town
Nothing else like it. Haven for the avant garde.
How is this place listed under comedy clubs?

The only place to see a show in this holler...
In heaven everything is fine.
