Up In Smoke

Upsetting escalation. First thing i am loyal customer for several years now. And have had few if any problems with any product bought at this store. So tonight when a 21.39 razz vape was purchased and tested in the store and was unsatisfied with the quality of the product an exchange for the same thing was asked for, the employee (black girl with nose piercing) tried it and said nothing was wrong and refused to replace. Her refusal and response was unhelpful and honestly I definitely flipped my lid. this was not my proudest moment but she didn’t want to help or do anything to help. She stated that the manager wouldn’t be there until tomorrow and to come back but she wasn’t going to do anything she seemed unhelpful and irritated that I even asked for a replacement. I hope this company will hold their staff to better customer service and uphold the exchange policy on the counter when the product is tested in the store and extremely unhappy with it.

Last night, Wed. May 1, at 8:00pm I stopped by for the very first time. The store is much bigger than it looks and it’s fully stocked.I asked the clerk if they had my “Go-To” disposable vape brand RAZ-Strawberry Shortcake flavor. She said yes. Then showed “ me the newest item from RAZ. I just wanted my “go to” vape. So she grabbed the strawberry shortcake & rang me up, I paid. Before she could give me the change, I saw the candy ciggys from the 90’s, I put 4 packs on the counter & handed her even more money. as she bagged the items I asked for a receipt for everything. Oddly enough she actually told me NO, I think she said it was too late. Wtf…But I know she really mean that it was too late for her, she’s tired & she isn’t going to go through the painstaking process of printing a receipts for me. Ok so I walked out the door at 8:15, got in my car and when I got to my neighborhood I unboxed and that’s when I couldn’t believe what i was seeing….. it wasn’t the strawberry shortcake that I asked for ….several times, she had even confirmed “you just want the strawberry short cake?” So I’m stuck with BLUEBERRY WATERMELON. YUCK!!!!!!! Which sounds nothing like strawberry shortcake nor do they look alike. I ll show you in pictures. So disappointed. I regularly shop at 360 vape the prices are low and they offer reward points. Damn man. Now I have to go buy ANOTHER ONE that is actually the one I want. I am So annoyed.

Under no circumstances is this the store to choose for your vape needs.Sold me on vaporesso device because of how sturdy and dependable it is. Device just stoped working after four days, batteries charged, just won’t turn on. Refused to accept a return despite selling an obviously defective product. Refused to allow me to return the remaining $80 in coils I bought for product that was “dependable”. (Why? They are sealed!)The employee this morning on the phone asked me ‘did it work when you bought it? And now it doesn’t? That’s your fault.’

Literally just left and am upset. Customer service is a staple of any business and usually it is for this business. However, today that was not the case. I went in there around 4:45 PM and it was not even busy. I asked one of the employees John(white guy, beard long hair) a simple question about one of their new products. By working there you should be an expert on what you sell and should be able to answer questions or at least TRY to ask for assistance for your employees. This guy did no such thing. Blew me off and was more worried about putting away an order in an empty store than helping the customer. I was literally about to leave, but asked the other employee who was working the question instead, and she was able to answer it immediately without hesitation. John was hiding in the back so I had to get his name from the other employee. I was so mad about the situation I forgot to get the girl’s name. She was amazing but if John Doesn’t want to help customers he should not be in that job. Period.Edit after response from Owner: it is extremely unprofessional to ask about a review, let alone to ask someone to take it down. My experience is what it was and the fact that NO action was taken against John is proof the company and management don’t care. PLENTY OF SMOKE SHOPS, without the naïveté of this hell hole.

I have been in Up In Smoke several times and the store is very large so I’m sure whatever you are looking for they will have. I want to share my own experience. I stop smoking cigarettes three months ago and figured vaping was the way to go. The only thing is I prefer the taste of tobacco instead of all the fruity flavors. I actually went into the store today and Ali helped me as she often does and usually I drive her totally crazy but she’s always so nice and patient. I decided to listen to her and go with the Vaperesso and also purchased the coastal clouds, tobacco flavored liquid and it’s not like years ago where you have to clean coils she showed me how to use it and it literally takes five seconds. All you do is take the top off put the liquid in the little red thing dot that is attached to the vape and squeeze the liquid in there and just placed the top right back on….Super Simple!!!! Thank you so much Ali for always helping me out when I’m in the store.

On a day i needed to have my Djarum Black Cloves this place was the only spot out of 15 i contacted in longwood/lakeMary that had them! So of course i had to liquidate before i headed back home to the deep south of Louisianna! Cuz they were at a low cost of 5.99 - their 6.99 in the Sip! Service on the phone was genuine and patient, service at the store was welcoming with a smile and great customer service!

I bought a $300 proxi vaporizer brought it home and it doesn’t work at all. Went back many hours later the same day, after trying to charge the device fully. They refused to refund our money and told us we had to drive downtown to exchange it at another dealer. They knowingly sold us a broken “display” model repackaged and have basically stolen my money. They are thieves!!

Great little smoke shop. PACKED with productEmployees been pretty friendly every time Ive been there.*They have a gumball machine with different colored tips that it dispenses in the little plastic containers.(one of the main reasons I went back-ima dork!)

The worker with long hair and a beard made fun of my special needs sister while she was having her super power ticks. He kept chuckling with his co worker thinking we couldn’t hear them . Absolutely disgusting

You had a great customer and about 3pm today you denied him access to your store with his service animal. By law you are not allowed to ask what service he does or deny access to people with service animals with disabilities.

They sell stale and outdated products. You’re unable to exchange or get your money back on product that crumbles as soon as you open it or the filter is so tight, you can’t smoke.

Traveling through Lake Mary and stopped at this location. I was so pleased with the blonde hair girl’s service. Very polite and knowledgeable. When I travel back through I will definitely stop back in. Love her personality. Thank you for making my experience so easy.

This place is truly the best smoke shop in Florida has good prices great vapes and great water pipes this is the place to be if your smoker

I have been coming to the store for a couple of years now. I stopped in usually every 7 to 10 days to pick up tobacco into for my rolling machine. I have found the staff to be pleasant and even fun to interact with. The prices are reasonable even compared to Amazon at least for my tobacco and tubes. I highly recommend this place if you are a roll your own kind of person.

Bad business when you don’t allow your customers to return or exchange products purchased. The customer needs to be better. Each time I’ve walked in this establishment I’m not greeted unless the blonde haired lady is behind the counter. I would not recommend. Try your luck at a different shop that allows for you to exchange or return items.

Up in smoke on w Lake mary blvd had a great selection, everything a smoker could want. Layout is very nice everything is grouped by pricing so you know where to look depending on what you want to spend. Pricing is fair, the 3 employees that were there were really chill and laid back, eager to help and answer any questions. Overall great experience will be going back the next time I need anything related to smoking.

Customer service is great when the “blonde lady” Is behind the counter. Seems like the care isn’t there otherwise. The convenient Location is great. Would give 5 stars but I keep having to drive to Altamonte to a different shop because this place can’t seem to keep what I’m looking for in stock. Over 3 weeks now. Which sucks when this other place has no problem. If that would be resolved, I would change review.

Friendly staff, great products and great deals. Update 10/29/23. Got some problems now... 1 huge nonsense problem is the return policy. I purchased an air factory salt juice which was placed in a bag so the staff nor I checked the box. I left the store and headed back to work and I looked at the box and noticed the BB date was September 2023, but theres no return or exchange allowed even though I was sold an expired product. That sucks as it should have been removed from the shelf and not sold. I tried it anyway and it tasted bad so I threw it away and it feels like they just robbed me. Staff customer service is not great since I have not seen blonde lady. Everyone seems high AF. Went here for years but if theyre going to be like this with their policy then I dont know anymore

Fume products don’t work after 10 puffs (4 times). When tried to talk to the employees, got no response with just blaming on the company’s name.

Would give this place not even zero stars, negative stars if I could! I bought a disposable vape from here that I tested and it ended up being burnt and unusable so of course I ask to exchange it out. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude and after 5 min of back and forth and her finally understanding that I’m not complaining about the flavor of the device I’m complaining because it’s a manufactures defect and I’m inhaling burnt coil when I hit it, she finally agreed to swap it out. Except this second was the same way and then after another 5 min of back and forth with this nasty women I get it exchanged once again. Only for the 3rd vape to have the same problem. This store clearly has some serious issues in their inventory and then they become extremely hostile when asked to exchange them out for something that works. Never going here again absolutely disgrace of a business.

I would rate everything for my experience here 5 star except their 18650 batteries for vape mods, after 2 days these batteries arent holding charge as if theyre old or something, I dont know where they get them from but in my honest opinion they need to change suppliers ASAP!!! I have purchased 4 batteries in the past 13 days all 4 batteries cant hold no more than 10% charge. The 1 from the other company is personally my oldest battery still holding at 100% after a charge, the worst part is there is no refunds or exchange for the 4 defective batteries. Nonetheless everything else is great but those batteries got to go...

Seems to be a common theme with broken items at this location. I have never had a challenge with any device of this nature in over 20 yrs. Bought one here that will not charge, brought it back in only to be treated as untrustworthy. Super sad state of customer service these days...Id rather shop where I can build a relationship of mutual trust.

My experience at this store was great. I am extremely indecisive when it come to vapes due to all the different kinds of flavors that they have. They didn’t have the specific vape that I had used in the past so I was forced to try something new. After 15 min of looking and about 4 trips to check out i took there advise on what vape to try. If I had taken there advise from the beginning it would have been a lot easier. However they were extremely patient with me and had a great sense of humor with this encounter. The other stores I have been to didn’t give the same customer service. They are just quick to get me in and out. Not giving the extra effort to make sure that I’m happy with the product I’m getting. This store and the 2 ladies that helped me come to a decision were more than great. I will only be using this store for future business. Thank you Ali and Z for your patients and ur sense of humor. It was a great experience.

They sell broken vapes and they don’t even try to help you out, even if it’s the same day that it stops working. Even if you just bought it 20 minutes beforehand. Make sure you stay in the shop for at least 15 minutes to make sure your product is working cause once you walk out the door you’re screwed out of your money. Any other vape shop I’ve purchased from will help you out if the product they sold you is faulty. This happens every time I buy from this store. Don’t give them your money. Waste of time. I’d give 0 stars but it’s not an option.

I bought two vapes from here that I’ve bought at other shops many times over the last few years and something isn’t right about either one, they taste weird like burnt or used? Similar to how they taste after you’ve used them for a week and they start running out of juice, it makes me cough, I’m not saying they’re fake because I don’t know but possibly selling older products or something? Not sure. Won’t be going there again though and if you do buy from them I would be careful.

They have a pretty good selection considering its 2022 (and EVERYTHING is on backorder) very helpful staff and they even had parts on hand for vintage glass water pipes. Ill definitely be returning in the future.

Wow. Literally bought a lighter a couple of days ago and it didn’t work. I walked in and simply asked if I could just change it out for another lighter. I didn’t think it would be that big of a.deal because I bought a bunch of other stuff. The lady treated me as if I stole the lighter. I’ll never spend another dollar there again..

Walked in, man behind the counter did not greet us. Asked for recommendations and he had none, we felt as if we were rushed the whole time. Asked for menthol recommendations...none. to build a good store you need good customer service. Not off to a good start. Overall, would not recommend.

They sell faulty devices and when you try to return or exchange they say “we can’t do that”. When there is absolutely no visible sign in there store saying that.

This shop has a lot of stock and many choices. However the staff is very unpleasant. The woman helping me was barely civil as if a was bothering her and asking too much of her. She also treated another person rudely about his ID (he was of age) while I was there. The place could be a goldmine if customer service were decent. I wont be going back.

Ive been coming to this store for over 3 years. Good product selection. They take customer recommendations into account, also Jose and Ally make visiting the store a wonderful experience every time.

Great smoke shop, hard to beat their prices anywhere else I go. Although occasionally youll find yourself with a faulty e-cig, just like anywhere else, this wont happen often here. Keep your receipts and you can replace them if that happens though. Staff is great and polite.

Place has everything related to smoking. My visit was pleasurable. Guy behind the counter was very nice. Good selection of cigars. That was my main objective, but they look like they got everything you need for whatever you smoking.

Every time I go here I love it theyre products are amazing they have a great selection And I believe out of all the shops Ive been to this is on my top three list possibly number one because they treat you like a human being they remember you and they care about quality over quantity and price. Anytime I need a battery or if I break one of my chargers for my pen or if I just need a lighter or some calls they have it all .. Its like a legit Walmart customized to you and your smoking needs probably the best way I can put it . .. I used to go to pipe dreams and I used to go to mystic off University boulevard however I will drive the extra 5 minutes to go to this place because I know the prices are decent Its good quality plus theres not going to be some long line with some dweeb trying to figure out what type of glass PC wants because they always have more than one person behind the counter which is extremely helpful definitely on my top three list either one or two

Even if youre old enough to legally buy kratom they wont sell it if youre under 21. Its also overpriced compared to other stores. Makes zero sense Ill never come here again.

Gentlemen that work there are very nice. Woman that works there shouldn’t be there, she is very rude and brings the atmosphere down. Sometimes, they’re so quick to push you out the door that they sell you the wrong product and won’t allow you to return it when they watched you buy it five minutes previous.

Horrid company. DO NOT give this company any business as they do not stand behind the products they sell. The product sold was defective and I asked for a refund. The “manager” refused a refund and blamed the manufacturer. I ended up getting my issue solved with a brand new replacement from the manufacturer direct. NO thanks to Up In Smoke for the trash customer service. I highly recommend you shop elsewhere. F- wish I could leave 0 stars!

Monday, February 26, 20184:45 PMUnfortunately I feel that I need to write this review, so people know what to expect, from a customer service perspective, when they visit that store. I made the mistake of walking into the SMOKE SHOP, with a lit cigarette. Before I even walked all the way in the store, I asked if it was OK to smoke. I figured it was, because all of the smoke shops where I am from allow smoking inside the store. Well, the girl that was working @8PM on 2-26-2018, very rudely said, no take it out side. A simple NO, would have been just fine, & there would be no 2 star review from me, but that was not the was this simple encounter was handled. I disposed of the cigarette, outside, and apologized even though she was rude. The male that was working with her, took over assisting me, thank heavens. I explained to him the only reason I thought smoking in there was allowed, is because it is acceptable where I am from. She must have had selective hearing, and heard something different, because she chimed in, like a child trying to get the last word, its the same everywhere in Florida. As if I was lying, because obviously, it is that important to me that I would lie about it, because of some immature girl that I could care less about. The guy had to explain to her that I wasn’t from Florida. Now, IF I had walked in and just started blowing smoke all over the place, not caring or just being ignorant, she may have been justified in the attitude the first time she spoke to me, but that was not the case, and the second time, I was apologizing and explaining myself. She was just being ignorant and instigative. Her puerile attitude has no place in a customer facing store. For me, that entire establishments image is ruined, because I cant help but associate it with the actions of 1 immature, childish employee, that appeared to miss her nap and was grouchy. She was definitely not professional or helpful in any way. In fact, the only reason the place gets 2 stars from me, is because the gentleman that helped me out, understood customer service, and was very helpful. Thank heavens that someone besides that other her was there. Time for some customer service education.

Stopped by today to get a vape brand “Fume” and walked out with the feeling they sold me something totally different, the flavor was totally different of what I’m used to getting and I requested nicely to change it for another disposable before leaving the store but the guy in the store refused to make an exchange, I noticed the color of this “banana ice” is not the same as it usually is and it tastes totally off. Wouldn’t recommend after my experience today.

Paid 55 dollars for a skunk bag with a bad combination lock. I took it back and the gentleman let me exchange it but told to put broken one back on the shelf [which I thought was weird, if its broken. Dont put it back right?] Wrong! I got another only to take it home and it also had a bad combo lock. FYI this isnt my 1st skunk bag. When ordering from website I have never had a problem. Just stick to ordering them directly from the website.

Don’t waist ur money on buying vapes I’ve gave them a few chances seeing if maybe I just got a bad one but not the case the fume vapes last maybe 5-6 hours when I buy from other places they will last me 3 days. They are buying fake vapes & also the people there are very rude.

Was my favorite vape shop especially since they carried my favorite vape. Ive never had trouble out of the guys for not wearing a mask. Today was the first time I seen the female and she refused service to me for not wearing a mask. The shop in apopka doesnt care thankfully so ill be going there for now on.

Great smoke shop. Thier selection of kratom is not bad. They could expand a bit more to include more brands. The brands they do have do are some.of the best but its limited. They have great prices on nearly all of thier stuff. The staff is great alsoIf they are out of stock the staff will get in touch with you when the get it in.

No ethics will rip you off. Sold my wife a piece broken off another product as an adapter. Should have listened to the other reviews. Lesson learned. Shop online for the same exact stuff for half the price. BoGo! Not to mention then you dont have to face these peoples horrible morals.

Got screwed on buying vape juice here several times. All of the bottles I’ve bought are either old or already opened. The lady that works/owns the place acts like she’s always annoyed with her customers. In my opinion if you want return business you should treat your customers with respect and not act like they’re an inconvenience.

Great selection of vape juices. Was in the market to potentially buy an Aegis Legend mod kit but I didnt see any in the case line, but I also didnt ask. Ended up purchasing a pack of Smok Mesh coils and two 100ml bottles of juice based on an in store recommendation. Very happy with the level of knowledge the associate had helping me and more than happy with the selection. A+ for actually keeping the mesh coils in stock.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Why? I went in vaporizer shopping and came across a few different vapes I was interested in. I already had one in mind but ended up purchasing a PAX 3. I was not able to get much information from the sales associate. I ended up getting misinformation from him and he basically just told me I’d be better off looking online than asking him. The vaporizer was $250. That’s not even the worst part. I now know these vaporizers sell for $199.99 everywhere else. When I asked about returns before I left the store I was told I could not return in even it if had NEVER been used. So basically I’m out $50 now and the customer service did not even make up for the difference. You know you go to Best Buy vrs Walmart to buy a TV you expect to pay a little more BUT the employee actually knows what he’s talking about at Best Buy, so you pay for that luxury. I didn’t even get that. Avoid this establishment because the customer service is poor and you may be overcharged.

This place has a awesome selection of juices. Everytime I go, I get great recommendations on new flavors, plus they have flavors Ive been vaping for years. The location is convenient, its easy to get in and out of from a traffic light. Oh and they sell smoking accessories too. Great little place.

My favorite smoke shop in Lake Mary! Ally, José, and Tony provide the most pleasant shopping experience each time I stop by. New products are in store every week!!!

I am visiting from out of town and went into Up In Smoke shop for some e-juice and coils for my vape rig. I am usually in and out of stores outside of my hometown in less than 2 minutes. I mustve spent at least 30 minutes inside of this fantastic store. I felt very welcome and unrushed, and the store is absolutely packed with interesting products I just had to see closer. The staff greeted my warmly the minute I entered the building and although they were out of stock of the e-juice I normally buy, a very friendly and tall young man named Jay-Z (not the rapper) was able to find me a more than comparable replacement juice. Jay-Z was able to make numerous suggestions for my other needs, and showed me many new products. I travel 280 to 300 days a year and I have been to hundreds of vape stores across the country, and finding a store that has a competent staff and a gigantic inventory is extremely rare. I would give Up In Smoke 10 stars if it were possible.

They know whats up and they price fairly. For any flavor chasers they have a wide variety and even clearance discount juice varying in sizes sometimes 120mill! The one stop shop for any smoker/vapor.

I love this place. Living off of Rinehart makes this place real convenient for me. It has all my needs and the employees are very knowledgeable. This place deserves to be bigger, and if it was it would be my favorite shop in Seminole County.

Not only were they overpriced, after questioning me on my id because my hair color is different they proceeded to not let me purchase a $30 bowl piece for my bong because i had my moms card and the name was different than on my id. it’s clear as day i’m well f*ckin over 18! my birth year is tattood on me for christ’s sake.

Bought a $20 disposable vape, that was faulty and tasted like burnt dog doo doo. Took it back with packaging and receipt hoping to exchange. Was told can’t be done and no other explanation. Don’t Mark up a product 200% and then refuse to replace it if it’s not working. Will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Younger guy that was working was a big help. Had a few questions that were a little progressed and he answered them perfectly or pointed me to the right direction. I needed just a little something special and he not only recommended a perfect Vaporizer, but also had them on stock. Also this place is called Up in Smoke .. that name alone is why I checked this store out and it was perfect! (Cheech and Chong for the Millennials that dont know the reference :P )

Not enough people working there, did not know anything from anything. I think I knew more about the products then him. Rather go somewhere where they actually know their stuff. He sold me an expensive vape which the glass broke and then he tells me the glass is not replaceable, wow what a waste of money.Dont waste your time.

The guy Bing who barley speaks English was the rudest person Ive ever delt with there. He tried to charge me almost double the sticker price, and when I mentioned the price he said it was because I, quote needed it. What kind of business is that? Why would I be buying something if I didnt need it? Stopped at Smokeology in Altamonte on the way home and they hooked us up! Definitely worth the drive over this TERRIBLE place!!!!

Please DONT EVER GO TO THIS BOOT LEG UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE I BOUGHT 2 fumes walked out the door opened it they were busted leaking all over definitely a hazard and they won’t refund you or replace it they sell fakes this place is a fraud

PLEASE DONT SHOP HERE! Not only are they extremely overpriced, but the staff flat out lied to me about a pricing adjustment and the entire situation came off incredibly unprofessional and unwelcoming. I purchase heaps of supplies from them and I will never be back.

I was going here for a little while to buy cigars. They cost a bit more but its close to home. Not any more. I will drive the extra 15 mins to Corona Cigar Bar. I bought some Cohiba cigars that were dry and stale. I called them and they said they cant do anything about it and to leave in my humidor for awhile. That will get the moisture up but they flavor will not return. They need to get there humidor working correctly if they are going to sell cigars.

I would give no stars if possible, Everything is marked up five times what it’s worth... is all cheapo deapo China glass.. the girl behind the counter was very rude, especially for someone who’s career choice is cashier at a smoke shop.. save your time and go elsewhere. There’s smokology very close by who has awesome prices and decent products.

High prices they have a homeless guy working the cash register that will try to rip you off if your just trying to buy one bottle of liquid. When i was in there i asked for a coil for my e cig and the guy gave me the wrong coil and another worker had to get me the right coil for my e cig. I came here from NY to get some CBD oil during my vacation. Not only was Stephanie very helpful and directing me to what I needed, but she also put me onto a cute little vape that would help be discreet while using it.The staff is very experienced with there products and are able to answer any questions you might have. Idea recommend this place for anyone in search of a local vape store!

The store had everything I could even think of needing, and Stephanie was very helpful and sweet. Customer service was unbeatable, definitely coming back.

I would pass on this shop. The staff is rude treated me as if I was going to steal everything in the store. After purchasing a tray when I got home I found out all the cones were stolen and the other items were taped to the tray. Needless to say go here if you want to be treated poorly and waste your time and money on a store that doesnt care.

I showed up just now with 10 minutes to close and the guy who was working saw me walking up to the door and locked the door and then walked away instead of letting me in when I wanted to come in to buy a Vape pen

They have good prices on E-Cigs and their nicotine oil is priced better than other places I have been. Some of the staff is very knowledgeable with their products.

Not the biggest selection but what they do have is quality. Employees are very knowledgeable about the different vape flavors they sell.

Never going there again bought a vape oil for 40 bucks that expires in 15 days and they said sorry buddy no refunds. Check your shot before you check out. I called to see if they can help and they blew me off
