Every time I visit Lakeland Medical Message I am amazed by how much better my body feels. Melissa is so knowledgeable and has amazing bedside manner. She explains everything she’s doing so you can understand why she’s doing it. I love having a medical massage with the staff at Lakeland Medical Massage! I started using them over a year ago. I have been to at least four of their experts. I believe they are the BEST! I recently got a sports medical massage from Adrianna, and it was quite possibly the best, most informative massage Ive ever gotten. And I get a lot of massages. Adrianna explained to me what she was doing AND WHY. I could immediately tell a difference in how my body felt as a whole and how individual body parts felt much better after a long day of golf and work. Ive had my share of spa and monthly therapeutic massages, but Adrianna is by far the best massage therapist Ive encountered. Shes kind, knowledgeable, and offers at-home tips and tricks. I walk away from every session feeling exceptionally better, looser, stronger, and, on top of that, relaxed. Along with Adrianna, the owner Ray and her staff are friendly and welcoming at every visit. Their facility is incredibly clean and soothing. I cannot recommend them enough!

I get charged $50. I should have seen the red flags with the multiple unorganized changes and calls and looked for another massage spa when I received the first text.

My massage therapist Tracey is great... She always asks me how Im feeling and what Im doing to best assess how she can help me and give the proper massage needed. If you add are in need of a great massage and want to feel better Lakeland Medical Massage is the place to visit.

My sciatica had messed up a year and a half ago which messed up the way I walk . Made my hip and knee hurt for the last 18 months . I had gone to the chiropractor 2 times for this but I need more . I was told about this place from my niece as her husband felt better after his first visit . Adrianna was my therapist and she was wonderful. Highly recommend Lakeland Medical Massage - very professional and focused treatment. I see Adrianna for neck/back pain related to sitting at a computer all day for work and felt relief after the very first appointment. No nonsense and a way for me to have a physical therapy option on my time table without having to subscribe to weird treatments I don’t agree with (once had my ankle soaked in a bowl with an electrode of some kind in it for example). My therapist is great and have not had any issues with any of the process from start to finish (appointments through sessions). I’ve been 3-4 times so far.

This was my second time at Lakeland Medical. I had hoped to have my previous therapist but she was booked. (I come to Lakeland once per year for a visit.). I got Larry instead. He was phenominal!!! I asked for deep tissue and I got it! I appreciated his thoughtfulness and thoroughness!

This place is amazing. I’ve been going here once a week, for a little over a year and let me tell you it is worth every penny! Best medical massage spa in Lakeland. Larry is who I go to for my massages regularly and each time I go he has learned something new and I leave feeling great. I personally like strong pressure and if you’re like me, Larry is your person. All massage therapists here know exactly what they are doing. They are constantly taking classes and updating/ learning new techniques. Melissa gives fantastic facials. She is so knowledgeable with skin types and I have noticed a significant difference in my face since I began getting these facials. My skin is hydrated and almost seems lifted. My skin looks youthful.Melissa was also wonderful at helping me post surgery. She did a lymphatic massage in order to breakdown some of the scar tissue that was forming and she was able to break it all down in just 3 session. Excellent service. I would highly recommend going to Lakeland Medical Massage. They are extremely professional and great at what they do.

I have had an excellent experience with Melissa Iskowitz. She is a licensed massage therapist and a certified medical massage practitioner. After much research, I chose Melissa because she specializes in lymphatic drainage and is super knowledgeable about this subset. She took the time to speak with me over the phone prior to booking and Im still benefiting from her insight. I have had 9 massages so far and Melissa has been extremely skillful and personable for every session. She is also always on time and ready, which is something I value.I find the Lakeland Medical Massage online account and booking process to be easy to use and convenient to make, reschedule or cancel appointments.Overall, everyone that Ive come in contact with has been pleasant and professional. Larry is my go-to for the best deep tissue massage in and around Lakeland. Lakeland Medical Massage is not a place for a relaxing massage. However, the providers I’ve tried have all given great medical massages.

I visited for the first time today after trying other places. I definitely recommend! My massage therapist was amazing and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Also was able to work out a lot of my pressure points and a great price for a high quality massage! I give them a 15 out of 10!!! Go see them. Thank you Adrianna!!!

I have increased flexibility and less frequent back pain as a result of my sessions. We sought out Lakeland Medical Massage because my daughter was in constant pain. We had tried multiple doctors, chiropractors, excersizes and medications. Her nerve/back pain and sciatica did not improve until she began seeing Ray. With the massages, her overall quality of life has improved dramatically and she is now often pain free (without medication)! I am beyond thankful and recommend Ray and her staff for pain relief, flexibility, relaxation, muscle stiffness, and joint pain.

I walk out after my appointment feeling so much better!!! Tracy helps me relieve my pain in my neck, shoulders and back. Also my fibromyalgia. I have cut down on my meds since getting a Medical Massage

Larry is amazing. He’s extremely kind and informative, super respectful, and extremely skilled and knowledgeable in his work. I’ve had a lot of issues with pain for a long time and he helped work some of that out and gave me some pointers on how to help relieve the pain more myself. Can’t wait to see him again!

September was a very rough month for myself and I was looking forward to my massage scheduled with Melissa today. She unfortunately had to cancel due to her child being sick, but thanks to the wonderful care of Ray as well as Tracy… they were able to work me in for a same-day rescheduled appointment and I appreciate it very much. I have been receiving massage therapy from Lakeland Medical Massage for a couple of months due to chronic pain that has plagued me for the past three plus years. I have been to many different massage therapists, and some are better than others. This is by far the best treatment I have ever experienced. My therapist listens carefully and has been able to to identify the issue/s and provide appropriate treatment. Gabriella is both knowledgeable, caring, and personable. I feel like I have finally found someone who approaches massage in a prescriptive, individualized manner. She provides helpful advice with regard to stretching I can do at home as well. This is one of the best places if you’re looking for a medical massage. I was having trouble standing up because something was wrong with my leg. I thought I was going to need to go to a chiropractor but I read maybe my muscles just needed some help. I went one day and saw Melissa told her what was going on she moved my leg around a little knew exactly what the problem was and after day one I was feeling 100% better. Granted this is a medical massage not a spa massage it was a little painful but it was worth it.

The absolute best massages I have ever received. I had a pinched nerve that had bothered me for months that Ray completely resolved after 2 sessions! I had seen an urgent care doctor, prescribed medications, then a orthopedic doctor who put an injection in my shoulder. Next step was a neurologist. I cancelled my appt with the neurologist!! Not needed after my sessions with Ray! She is not only a talented massage therapist, but a super sweet person!! I consider my massages a vital part of my self care.

After a neck injury, a Neurologist suggested massage therapy. I had massage therapy, with a good therapist, for years. However, I always felt the massage fell short.The first visit with Ray, I felt the expertise, knowledge, and care of her touch. So far, my posture has improved and my pain has decreased. There is a lot of scar tissue and years of misuse to overcome, but, Ray has a care plan. I’m encouraged that with her therapy, and my participation with stretching exercises, I will continue to improve and feel better.Warning: this is medical massage, not a day at the spa. But the results are so much better.

Today I had a long overdue appointment with Ray. When I walked in I thought that I was doing okay, you know, no issues or real pain to speak of. But by the time I left after her treatment, I could tell such a difference. I actually felt lighter in my step and more free in my movements. WONDERFUL introductory massage. The therapist knew what she was doing! I’ll be going back. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s very difficult to schedule - they are usually always booked and I haven’t been able to get a massage in the evening when it fits my schedule best. The music (Muzak) is a little odd too. But 5 stars for the massage itself!

I have been getting massage therapy for over 30 years. Went in today with lower back pain. Ray knew I was having some difficulty by the way I was walking. She went to work and resolved my issue. This is supposed to be medical message but they won’t even treat me because of my hereditary EDS condition. They’re supposed to be neuromuscular message experts but if it isn’t something basic they shut the door on you, after a physical walk through and then an appointment for this Friday was set, Adrianna calls to cancel me as per the owner of the company to get rid of me. Totally unprofessional. I’m so crushed.

Eric did an amazing job! I have never had a massage like it before! It was more about my bodies problems and the targeted areas that I needed done than about just relaxing. He explained what he was doing and why it needed to be done and how it will help. I personally was having lower back problems so he focused on that and the underlining issues of my back pain. On 10/2/20 I went to to Lakeland Medical Massage because of loss of feeling and tingling in my feet. This happened after back surgery (3 lumbar fusions on 3/26/20) This problem has improved , Dr. said it would take a year.I met with Melissa and she was confident that working on my legs would improve this problem. After the massage, I could not believe how much better I felt. Its now two weeks later and I still feel better. Melissa is an expert in her field!!

Many therapists tried to help me over the years, but I was always in more pain after my sessions and couldn’t find the right therapist to help me. During my first visit with Ray, I immediately found relief from my pain! I have now been a patient of hers for over 2 years and my neck and back are doing immensely better. My headaches have decreased and have more movement in my neck and back. She is always professional and able to address my pain without hurting me. Ray is a treasure. You have to go see Ray! My therapists knowledge of musculature and skeletal support has been invaluable as part of my pain management for RA, migraine headaches, and fibromyalgia. There aren’t enough stars to give Lakeland Medical Massage! My therapist has always been able to massage me and give me immediate results in alleviating my neck and upper back pain. I have been seeing massage therapists for years and have received the best care here compared to previous massage therapists. If you are in need of a great massage, you do not need to look any further.

I have a torn disc and a slight curvature of the spine, so my back is in pain quite often. Melissa worked on me, and I feel like butta! My muscles loosened and the tension has fallen away. She asked me questions to understand where and why I was hurting. She would ask me how I was feeling with the movement or pressure to make sure I was having a comfortable experience. The room and ambiance is very relaxing. Highly recommend!

Melissa is an outstanding massage therapist. She applied the appropriate and needed pressure at just the right places on my lower back and neck. She answered my questions concisely. On the completion of my session, I scheduled another appointment with her to return in two weeks.

The massage therapist that treated me was courteous, professional and she proved to be very skilled in her technique. She relieved the pain and stiffness in my lower back that had bothered me for a while. I highly recommend this clinic if you are thinking about massage therapy.

MELISSA IS AMAZING!! I came in with so much foot pain in my left foot thinking I really needed to see a podiatrist. I had problems applying pressure when walking on my feet. My left foot bothered me so much. I work 12 hour days and 2 jobs which require to be on my feet all day. She worked on my foot and although the session was intense it has already been a week now and I have no pain at all! I can walk normally without any discomfort. She was super knowledgeable in explaining everything and also after care in what I could do to prevent the pain from coming back in the future. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Amazing! Ive had two sessions with Eric. Im 29 and I knew I was too young to have certain body and muscles aches. Id say 95% of my aches are gone. The 5% of the aches I still have, I need a chiropractor to adjust. I have a crazy amount of energy now and this has even motivated me to stretch and take care of my body. Ray was originally trained in Thailand, came to America, and re-certified as a masseuse. Her original training consisted of a final exam which dealt with individuals having varied complaints. Her task -- as assigned -- was to deal with a particular individuals complaint. And, her final grade was either graduating or not graduating dependent on the patients response as to whether the efficacy of the treatment alleviated the problem. Now, thats what I would call a make it or break it course. Ray -- made it!
