Salon Allure

I havent been here for a service, this review is regarding the customer service I received when just called to inquire about retaining this salons services. I called to inquire about if the salon was open the day after Christmas. I am getting married and was asking about 2 partial updos and was inquiring if they were open and verbalized to the receptionist that I was concerned and a bit worried as I had been told by 2 previous salons they were not open at the time I was inquiring about or at all.The receptionist actually laughed at me and informed me that no one is going to be open at all the day after Christmas quite the professional atmosphere.Luckily, this person was wrong and we are able to spend our money elsewhere.

Tran does my nails, she’s so kind & always has wonderful conversations with me…her and Sophie make getting my nails such a relief after a stressful day! I recommend them to all my friends!

Carli is wonderful! Salon is great - very clean. Love that they supoort local, selling jewelry, art, macrame, etc., and they use/sell great product lines - Moraccanoil, Eleven, Surface, 18.21

Haley has been my stylist for 8 years & has always done an amazing job! Im always refreshed when done. I love how my highlights look & my husband always loves my hair!!!

Such a cute Salon! Located in the charming Downtown Lees Summit. Best hairstylist in Kansas and Missouri in my opinion! Lauren Ruester. I come from Shawnee, KS to see her. Shes most definitely worth the drive.

Bre is actually the most inclusive, sweet and talented stylist Ive met!! I can trust her with anything. I just got a haircut today from her but I will be back! She does beautiful vivid colors as well!!!

I found Salon Allure a few years ago and was scheduled with Katy. First time there, and I was hooked. My hair looked great and I received so many compliments on the cut and highlights. Katy is amazing and highly recommend! Sent a friend and she has been a client ever since. The salon uses high end products and they know what they are doing. Clean atmosphere, updated fixtures, and great service.

I got a cut and balayage from Kimberly today, it was my first time at this salon. I absolutely love my hair! It turned out so much better than I imagined it could. She did a beautiful job. I’ll definitely be back to see her next time I want my hair done.

My stylist was Cody. First time in the shop and with that stylist. Could not have been more pleased. She took the time to discuss what I wanted and gave me the best cut Ive had in years. The price was reasonable and left room for a very decent tip.

I have been going to Caitlin for 4+ years and she is wonderful. She really cares about making a woman feel beautiful! I literally walk in at this point and say- “You do you” and I have never been disappointed. She is amazing at Blonde and Brunette coloring (I’ve gone both with her) and her cuts always feel tailored just to me. If you want that hair stylist that you will never leave- ask for her!Also as a side note- they are great with still keeping a laid back atmosphere during this crazy Covid pandemic while following extensive precaution guidelines!

I started coming here about a year ago after my old stylist retired (went to her for over 15 years). I always have a wonderful experience at Salon Allure. Everyone is always friendly and make sure Im okay while Im in the waiting area or under the dryer while the color is setting in. I see Dana and trust here completely with my hair. She makes sure I look fabulous before leaving. Top notch service!

I had to rush my panicked teenager in to fix a BAD hair dye job. Natasha did my daughters hair and it looks amazing. I relocated from Tulsa and Ive found my salon. Every stylist there was helpful and friendly. Good music. Clean. Great atmosphere. Ive made an appointment for Monday. Highly recommend this salon!!

Such a great place we couldnt get in for a last minute pedicure but that was our fault for thinking we could. They are booked out for a reason, please make an appointment. Katie operates a business and finds skilled technicians others should aspire to!

Rachel is the best massage therapist Ive ever been to! Also Ive had my hair dyed, cut and colored by multiple stylists and even gotten my nails done and pedicures; Ive never been disappointed by their service. Love Meg and Taylor as receptionists!

Stylist Tina A. repeatedly does not honor her appointment times. She does good hair, no issues there, but has an unprofessional habit of cancelling at the last minute with elaborate excuses you are sure to find out later are lies and reckless rescheduling at great inconvenience to the client. So if you plan on seeing her, make sure you are not having your hair done for an event or wedding or holiday. Stylists who have worked with her or literally ANY of her clients will know EXACTLY what I’m talking about. She gives Salon Allure a bad reputation by being associated with her by the way she unprofessionally conducts business.

Cant imagine going anywhere else for my feel beautiful moments! Katy Gammill works her magic with my hair. And then, I get a pedicure with Dana Williams and the whole world seems brighter! I look forward to every appointment I have with them. Salon Allure is the best!

Cody is the best color and cut stylist hands down. She really listens to the customers requests and her sweet disposition makes for a pleasurable experience. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

Cody is amazing. Genius when it comes to hair. Been going to her for over 10 years for any of my hair needs. Shes done highlights, low lights, keratin treatments and so much more to keep my hair looking amazing.

Breanne is the best! She gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years and my color is amazing! I highly recommend her!

I made an appointment to get a balayage and a cut and when I got there I learned that whoever took my appointment told the hairdresser I wanted a highlight instead of balyage and my hairdresser got extremely annoyed with me I feel like it was my fault even though it wasn’t and multiple times said that she didn’t have time for this... so she rushed through my haircut and they had to call in another hairdresser to do my color and this lady was also super rushed because she had a friend coming in after me and threw on color didn’t tone it and then was upset with me when I asked her to straighten my hair at the end because her friend was there waiting for her. I called to complain the next day and I asked to speak with the manager and they said they would call me back and I haven’t heard sense. I will never be coming back I felt like a burden and my hair looks awful. It is super blotchy, it is yellow in some places and it’s not at all what I was looking for. The hairdresser didn’t ask me for any pictures or any type of preference at all she just got color and start throwing it on me. Super unprofessional and worst $150 I’ve ever spent.

I liked the ladies here, but unfortunately I had a terrible experience. .I went in for a dye and highlight.I was supposed to have burgundy hair, but ended up with a dark copper color(which faded to an orange color that I cant seem to get rid of) and I guess I was forgotten about as the lady doing my hair was cutting other peoples hair while I was under the heater and I must have been left under there too long because the parts of my hair that were highlighted were fried! They literally broke off in my hand(I was trying to grow my hair out and my bangs were past my chin and my bangs broke off up to my eyes!) and the rest of my hair was incredibly dry. So I paid almost 200 dollars for my hair to be completely ruined, my hairstylist said to call her and she would try to fix my hair. I called her, texted her, left messages and she never got back with me. So frustrating.

Wonderful salon for variety of services! Hair, nails, massage. Community minded owner. Ask for Lisa Clark --- she is phenomenol. Great colorist! She will make you shine!

Had a 4 pm appointment, by 430 no one had come to check on me or even let me know that my stylist was running late. Complete disregard for clients time. Someone came over and offered a beverage to one person who was waiting, but not the rest of us . Very strange experience .If I ever have a day to sit around and wait for service, I may give them another shot.

Lisa did a great job cutting my fine as well as thin hair. All of the stylists are accomplished. They are self employed. Great place to go.

Love getting my hair cut by Karen. She has been cutting my unruly curly hair for years. I really like the salon. It is a very relaxing experience.

The services I received were great, there was a bit of a mix up between when I called and when I got there about the services I was wanting. But as soon as I got in the chair they were very helpful and able to work with me to achieve exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be returning soon.

When 217 SE Main St is typed into a GPS, it routs to South West Main Street instead of South East. When searching for Salon Allure, be sure that you are on the same side of Main St that the Chamber of Commerce is (we are directly across the parking lot).

I cant tell you about the salon but Ashley is the best in the message areaI recommend her highly you wont regret it and at the price I feel like Im underpaying for her serviceAshley thanks again
