The Happy Grape Bar & Bistro

I love this place. The blood and booze are great. So is the service.However I just went by for drinks with friends and they were closed 90 minutes before the posted time on one of only two days of the week theyre open. Closing a little early I can understand but 90 minutes early on a Friday is a bit much.

Lovely atmosphere and service. Nice selection of beer, wine, etc. They seem to have live music on many occasions. Chocolate cake as dessert was AMAZING!

Amazing drinks! Hidden gem in Lexington. Super cute and clean. Very clean restrooms. We only had drinks and appetizers, so not sure how food was, but had a huge menu. Waiter was a little nervous with our party of 10. The service seemed slow and it took over 30 minutes to get appetizers. He was completely confused when we cashes out too.

This was amazing! We double dated with our niece and her fiance for a night of sipping wine and painting! We had a blast! If youre around, you really should try it, even those who dont drink wine, they have a full bar.

Great food and drinks. EKG was terrific as usual. Loved the home made chips and pizza. Server seemed very slow, but realized on leaving she was also working bar.

Incredible food ( short menu) but they do it very well!!! Nice selection of burbons and drinks .wines and craft beer .it was our first time but definitely not our last!!!

It is not worth going to since reopening. The food is overpriced for being, at best, mediocre. The server may have been new and kept messing up, which is fine, however we waited awhile(~15 minutes after receiving boxes) for our bill when someone pointed out they had just been sitting at the bar and talking to the other staff. The drinks were good.

We went there on a Wednesday about 7:45 pm for a late dinner. The ambiance and atmosphere is wonderful. We looked in the entire place for a seat many options avail. The bar, the pub, patio and the dunning room. The bartender/host was pleasant and helpful. After wifey finally picked our seats we were given the menu’s and was told our server would be here shortly. Well after 15 minutes I went to the bar and order our drinks. The bartender was great and gave us drinks and a server. We ordered soup( tasty but cold) a pretzel which was good and salad and flatbread which both were delicious. The service just was bad tho. Get appetizers with no side plates yes she brought silverware after we asked. Waited for everything. So if you like good food and drinks and bad service please go here

Atmosphere was nice, quiet, and clean. However, the wait staff was well trained with the wines but seemed lost when it came to the food. They messed up the orders and gave a friend and myself the wrong food. The food was decent, but for the price I expected more. Overall, an above average place for wine, but below average for food. Still on the fence if Id go back.

Always loved to go there for dinner. Since reopening very disappointed in menu. Snacks only all the favorites gone no Flatbread, sandwiches or the GREAT chocolate cake. Hopefully they will add back some items. However staff and service great

The food was amazing the atmosphere was amazing the wine is unbelievably fantastic.the woman that took care of us her name was Missy and she was absolutely perfect in everything that she did. Her services were without a doubt the best Ive ever had. We will definitely be back. Missy has made this place a special place for my girlfriend and I and we plan on to continue our new tradition.

Nice indoor and outdoor seating with a responsive staff. The food had an upscale slant but not a crazy price ($11 for personal flat bread with pepperoni and onion). Would recommend the attached cask breweries Amber Ale quite tasty!

Very accommodating staff! We had a large party here on a Monday, right when they opened. They do not take reservations, which is understandable, but they let me call ahead on Saturday to remind them that we would be coming in on Monday (they are closed on Sundays). I spoke to one of the owners and also Cody, both of which were very welcoming about our party. On the day of, the door was open early. The food and drink options were wonderful. Cody was a patient and attentive server. Great service, thank you Cody and The Happy Grape!

I had a really great time here with my girl friends the other day, super nice, i genuinely love the inside decor. The only thing that really bothered me, was this short little man that kept staring at us, claimed himself as the manager, but it really creeped us out. It didnt help he wasnt very nice to our party either. Id definitely consider coming back, but not with that guy around

Miss the old menu! Used to love all the flatbreads and the hummus. It was one of my favorite places to go. Was very disappointed in the smaller menu and the food. No reason to return.

The server was less than enthused about providing us a good experience. Never checked on us for roughly 45 min after we received our drinks. We noticed other patrons were receiving their food before us. Bad experience after paying our bill - the server gave a patron my wife’s food as we were walking out. We won’t come back. 7/6/21

Decent atmosphere, good food and Spirits, and would otherwise be a nice place to meet with friends, but the service here has been consistently sub-par. There are one or two decent servers, but the majority of our experiences have not been good. On more than one occasion weve placed orders with a server, only to be forgotten. On one visit we couldnt even get someone to take our money to pay the bill! The first time we went was more than 3 years ago (have been there several times since), went again recently to see if things mightve changed, but it was pretty much the same experience.

Im not sure if the reviewer who called the Happy Grape seedy was actually there. Its the last place I would call seedy. The atmosphere is pleasant, and welcoming. I have even taken my parents there, who now have become regulars. It is a very comfortable place for any single female who just wants a nice glass of wine and great food. The staff is courteous and friendly. I highly recommend!

I love this place, I dont go often but when I have I really had a good time, live music on the Friday and Saturday night, not some head banging band either, talented local musicians. Prices are decent, a good place to have a beer and good meal. I have never tried the wine, its not something Im fond of....friendly folks though

Waitress was nice but my pizza was awful. Wasnt even cooked all the way and tasted cheap. A couple years ago I ate there and the pizza was good

A perfect place to spend an evening with friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We feel very lucky to have a special place in Lexington to do just that. The Happy Grape has wine in almost every price range and every taste. You can spend from five dollars on up for a glass of wine. I have never seen any type of Seedy activity. If you want friendly service from a very professional and courteous staff you will find it there. Go down there tonight and see for yourself. Make sure you ask about the chefs special. The food is excellent. I think Ill just do that with a couple of friends tonight.

The new menu is terrible. Basically just appetizers, pizza, and “pressed fold over” which is a pizza folded in half. The pizza was soggy and rubbery. The old menu was 100 times better. Very disappointing.

We love love love the happy grape! Amazing local restaurant / winery. Great food, made very fresh and their flatbreads are some of the best. We love the drink choices, and love that they have live music on the weekends!!!

Nice atmosphere, live music was very good. We didnt eat here but , drinks were good and found a wine I enjoyed. We will go back and try out the food.

Came for an hour left after 3. Food was fine drinks were great the live entertainment was epic.Staff was friendly and fast. Keep up the great work.Ps Coffee was also great 👍

I am a very patient person at restaurants and have worked in the food service industry so i completely understand when things are busy & when mix ups happen. however we waited for an hour and a half to get our food and the server didn’t check on us once within that time frame (we had to go up and ask her what the status of the food was). after 90 minutes we just paid the bill for our drinks and left. sorry but i was an unhappy grape. what got me through the experience was the cutout of stan lees face staring into my soul

We went with another couple. And while we enjoyed the Live Music, the atmosphere, and the drinks, the food was less than desirable!The Flatbread was just that, Flat They tasted as if they were just put together without any heat. The shredded chicken was probaby out of a can. I was NOT Impressed with their flatbread at all!!The only thing that was good was our salad..Other than that, not sure if I would go back there.

Very nice local venue with wine and four in-house brews.

They were a bit pricy for my taste, but everything was good. They had a good selection of beer and wine, and our server was great at offering suggestions for what we may like.

They have good service, and a nice selection of wine. However, the chicken gyro was the worst. Shredded roasted chicken in taziki sauce does not equal a good chicken gyro. They have tasty flatbreads! Just dont order the gyro, cause youll regret it.

Not what I expected after reading reviews on google. The outside is covered in tacky Christmas lights like a strip bar, the inside is very dark (probably to hide the fact that men and women are walking in and out of the restrooms together) I felt very uncomfortable inside with all the seedy activity and the unsolicited attention from the male staff. The wine is some of the same labels that you see at the local gas station but you pay $8.00 a glass, the food is overpriced and the music is far too loud.

This IS the perfect place. The owner and the Happy Grape have nailed it with a perfect community restaurant, bar and Brewery. The atmoshpere is a 10, service is a 10 and an 11 for being the best wine bar in Mansfield.

Lexington became a destination once the Happy Grape opened! Its the perfect place for a date night, girls night, or just a relaxing glass of wine. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the food and wine are excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for melting away the cares of your day.

So trendy wine place. If this is your thing then you have found a place. They were helpful and friendly but the food they offered with wine was terrible uninventive and over priced. Nice place nice folks just do not go hungry , thirsty just not hungry.

This is a great place to jyst hang out with friends. The ample selection of wines, beers, and other beverages is sure the whet everyones whistle. Add to that appetizers and it makes for a nice night out with friends or a romantic date.

Service is great, atmosphere is fantastic. Drink selection always satisfies and the patio is the best around. Live music is just icing on the cake!

Enjoy Friday and Saturday music, with either flatbread pizza or bread and cheese plate which is really too big for 2 people. We would love to see them increase their menu selection

I went to this place for the very first time with my girlfriend. She menationed about this place and so we decided to try it. The food and alcohol amazed us. We definietly will come back to this place again.

Great local spot for Lexington. A wide drink selection and good food. They frequently have local musicians perform which is a major plus.

I only went to the brew pub on the side - Laxton Hollow. Excellent cask ales and felt like family.
