NOXX Nightclub

If I could give this place a Zero, I would. First & last time I will come to this terrible place. My friend & I won tickets to see the dj Morgan Page. As soon as we come in, we make our way to the middle front area, like any normal concert, it was all a standing area. There is a terrible placement of a couch dabbed in the middle, & we were behind it. Out of nowhere some very rude entitled older woman tells us, if we could please move because it’s her birthday & she “rented” this area. There was absolutely no sign or ropes that indicated it was a VIP section, everyone is just standing. 15 minutes later a very rude disgusting bouncer flashed his flashlight & kicked us out from that whole standing area, in front of everyone as if we were doing something wrong. We had just gotten there barely on our first drink. Mind you we travelled all the way from Brownsville to come to this disgusting club late at night. This random older woman clearly didn’t like us for no apparent reason & paid to get us out. Never met this woman in my life. We all had the same ticket to see the same dj. If you have a “vip” section then you as a club owner need to make that very clear. What a rude way to treat human beings, & just for some random bar fly that paid you all off. What a Horrible, ignorant & incompetent staff. As well as the crowd. Except for the bartenders I hope you all find a better place to work than this sewage.

Honestly it was terrible. First and last time I’m ever going to a place like this. First of all, had a friend that unfortunately drank too much and had to be escorted out, they didn’t let her grab her belongings, and a bit after when I left to go with her, they didn’t bother escorting me the way they did to her so I could’ve at least been with her. They didn’t want to inform me if they even escorted her out. A different friend was in the restroom when they kicked everyone out and didn’t even bother letting her get out through the front exit and were kicking her out through the back exit. Wouldn’t put any stars but it wouldn’t let me leave a review unless I put one.

Bouncer was extremely rude to me, even as I was composed and spoke calmly. Repeatedly asked him to not speak to me in a rude tone, since I was not speaking to him rudely, but kept belittling me.

We had our kids young and they want to go dancing at a club with us but we just turned 38 and seeing that they wont let us in is a shame. We would have spent a ton on drinks for everyone. Loss on the business i guess. I get making it clear to dress appropriately for the club and to flash some cash over a certain age but a full ban on an age group is bad business.

Club was alright. Music wasn’t that great to be honest. The DJs gotta mix better, stayed too long on one song and back and forth. Not a lot of people dancing, bunch of wallflowers.

If youre over 30 years old youre not allowed to go into this club. Absolute age discrimination at its best. At this point the only question I really have is how is it that the state of Texas allows such a thing and how is it that they havent gotten sued for it its last time I checked its illegal to discriminate based on age.

Never coming back to this bar, horrible place and service.

Terrible service, they charge you, they dont give you a stamp and then they give you hell for not having a stamp that they didnt give you and to make matters worse the overbearing, rude and aggressive doormen. Only the guys at the bar love it, the rest of the staff think they own the place.

There are already too many unpleasant experiences that I had there, terrible.
