Always have a great time here. Usually come for happy hour or day drinking. Their staff are friendly and funny. Their pizza is great. The pulled pork nachos are a must try and the burgers are also really hit the spot.

This is the place to be if youre hungry and looking to have a good time. From their signature drinks to their highly recommended pizzas (which are a must try), the vibe at Rockwell is unmatched for nightlife.

The Rockwell Tapo House is one of the best hot spot and one of my favorites in uptown Mcallen, TX. Karaoke Monday nights and Beer Pong Karaoke Thursday nights are usually my favorite times to go, after a hard day of work, to wind down and enjoy some karaoke fun. They have good specials through the week on drinks and the brick oven pizzas are amazing! The menu has a great, and tasty variety appealing it any palate.The music is always vibing, the staff is friendly and outgoing. The atmosphere is always relaxing and fun! 🔥🍻🎵🎶🎤

Best oven brick loaded pizza we have had in a while. Cucumber martini was delish and music was great.

If Im not at Eddies Tavern best believe Im getting a few shots and a few pints at Rockwell. From a nice selection of beers on tap and on bottle to some mouth watering pizzas cooked to perfection (chefs kiss!) this place is a good way to start the weekend or if youre just fueling up to either keep on going or ending the night on a good note. Keep this place in mind if your ever in the Nolana area amigos!

I usually only go on Wednesdays for Latin night. I like the pizza. Its great. The service when real busy can take a while to see your waitor/waitress again. The dancing can be fun but it gets crowded so other dancers tend to bump into you while dancing quite often. Just wish the dance floor was bigger.

Excellent wings and at .75 a wing each say until 8 (all night on Wing Wednesdays) its a great place for some beers after work - they have a great happy hour until 8.The pizzas are definitely some of the best in the RGV, the fire brick oven makes all the difference.The music is rocking/metal - sometimes hip-hop; the bottom-line is the atmosphere is awesome. Its a gem in the uptown scene.

One of the best pizza experiences that Ive had in a long time since Ive traveled to New York City if youre trying to find a exquisite Pizza delicacy I hope you recognize Rockwell as one of the finest dining experiences in the valley when it comes to Pizza the staff was absolutely amazing amazing I left satisfied and liberated definition that has a craving for some good cheesy pizza

We don’t live in the area but we come stout every now and again. We ate here on 2 espérate occasions. Both times all of our party got their food at different times. Yesterday we ordered an appetizer pizza and wings. Pizza got here first, it was burned! THEN everyone’s other plates started coming in, THEN we got our appetizer, then after we got our wings. By the time we finished the pizza and appetizer other members of our party STILL hadn’t gotten their food!! The fried stuff was super oily which is a good indication that cook was in a hurry and didn’t let the oil get hit enough… Idk how this place gets 5 stars! Food is gross! Have it a second chance, never eating here again!

I didnt eat anything while here. I didnt try to many drinks but the one I got (blue raspberry mojito) was decent. They had a guy playing guitar and singing. He did very well.

The pizza here is underated and addictive. Its usually way too loud in here but I either have the best time or leave pretty quickly. Sit at the bar, though. The servers need a lot of work but I know theyre also cleaning that up. Good people.

Service is slow. Beer variety is limited. Even when you sit at the bar, service is slow. But the food is good and the music is ok. Live music starts at 9. Maybe its better then, than earlier

Terrible service, that got worse and worse each time we went hoping for the best. I swear they must get people to give them 5-stars and/or good reviews.... cause more than twice is no longer a coincidence. We were naive I guess. Nail in the coffin was the embarrassment we felt hyping this place up to a guest from out of town we invited here and being pretty much ignored the entire time, like we werent there, when there was only ONE other customer there. Old dudes acting bothered for doing their job when we would have to ask for service after sitting there for over 15 min. while he stood not even a foot from us watching tv and mumbling to himself. Then he would just keep walking past us without making any eye contact, our glasses empty, that we had to ask another dude for service. Then he had the audacity to still try to close out our tab, without asking, just so he can get a tip. Smh. We learned our lesson, we are never coming back, and we will be sure to share our terrible experiences with others.

What can I say… CJ is the man! Really took of us even though a server didn’t show up… he really kept this place running! He should be promoted!

The atmoshphere is great and I love the boneless buffalo wings and seasoned fries with a nice cold beer. Its not too big of a space but still comfortable. Went on a Sunday and it looked like there were only two servers so it did take a bit to get attended but overall would visit again to try other food items and drinks. Love the live music and karaoke night!

Seems like a place that might have some potential. Unfortunately, we walked in sat ourselves at a table near the bar and sat and sat and sat…..No one acknowledged us or spoke to us for 5 mins. No “hello” from the bartender that took care of the people only a few feet from us… no nothing.So, we got up and walked out. Too bad. I was wanting to find a place to regularly enjoy but if any business cannot even remotely care for the folks that come there to eat and drink….. well.. we’ll need to keep looking for something better.

I was there on a Friday night, so the music was pretty loud. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not the best place to meet for a casual couple.of beers, pizza and conversation. Brick oven pizza was very good. Plenty of brews to choose from.

My wife and I came here on a last minute decision and we were not disappointed. Food was great, beer selection was good and service was really good! Definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area. You wont be disappointed!

Fantastic atmosphere. Masks are optional for guests and staff. Food was great, but it shouldnt take that long to make a pizza. For someone who asked for a tip, the cook took their time. Its a ten dollar + pizza, if we tip can you skip the flair and just make the pizza?

Best pizza in the valley if you love brick oven pizza as much as my wife and I do. Drinks are decently price. Happy hour is great and CJ is a great bartender.

I was a fan of this place... but as a returning customer I thought we would be treated with a welcomed feeling and serviced pretty quickly. It was quite the opposite. However, the more we went the more we noticed it took very long to get any service. Mind you this was at 8pm and it was dead. BUT the food is EXTREMELY good and have some great selection of brew... we will return, but not as often. :-/

14 people in the place and they serve my second beer in a dirty mug with leftover trechas (I dont drink dressed beers) 1st mug was chilled 2nd mug was dirty, and it just got poured into a chilled mug (they shook it with ice and then poured the beer into it from the other glass) i guess they thought the glass was dirty not the beer, the waitress did her best to get our order filled and still took 10 minutes to get drinks as there were 5 guys behind the bar just talking and hanging out. Lack of urgency, must be Cool to hang out at work and take of business as a 2nd priority. I remember the pizza being top notch guess they are doing something different now.

Yikes, the service! If only they would get it together, they may succeed. They had some good beer specials but took ages to get our drinks. 6 at the bar and only 3 tables full...with 3 bartenders and 2 wait staff, it was like seeing grass grow with their service.

This place had relatively good drinks. However, the thing that made this a one star was that when I ordered a pizza they didn’t have what I wanted. I waited for 20 mins until someone came up to me and stated that they didn’t have the toppings available. At that point I canceled the order and just paid for the drinks. I will probably never go here again.... as a tourist/someone new to town this was a let down.

Best pizza in town! Honestly iv had good pizza all over the world. And this is competition. I definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in good pizza. Hands down 10/10

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TICKET!!!Been here twice now with my husband and we love it! Atmosphere is awesome, drinks are good.... but the food... OMG its amazing! Weve tried a couple if things since they offer great specials especially during happy hour! Nothing has disappointed with the food.The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because both times weve gone our tab was wrong. They have great specials but if you inspect your ticket the discount doesnt add up to the promoted price. (Ex. $3 happy hour wells show up on the ticket as $6 - $2... so theyre charging $4 instead). Our food was also the wrong price. The first time the manager came to apologize claiming they had a new system etc etc... fine. But there was a 2 week gap between our visits and nothing changed. Makes me wonder how many people get overcharged cuz they dont pay attention and just pay. We will continue to go because everything besides that is amazing! We love this place!... just pay attention to your ticket! Lol

Awesome place! First time out in awhile, glad it was here. Drinks, pizza, live music (greatest part of the whole thing. Single Barrel was the band and they were absolutely on fire 🔥. Highly recommend it and we WILL be back. Beers were $4, reasonably priced. Had a great time.

Was one of my favorite places to go until tonight. Overheard the bar manager talking to a guest claiming that the entire bar area was his and could place whatever he wanted anywhere. It was obvious that he was doing this just to impress the females he was flirting with and came off as completely unprofessional. I will no longer be going to this bar as long as the current bar manager is there and will recommend my friends to avoid this place due to the complete lack of professionalism on the bar managers part.

Service kinda sucks but the food and drinks... perfect. So yes it worth coming here!

This place is a happening bar indeed. Live music, djs, amazing drinks, incredible atmosphere; you cant find a better place. Did I mention the pizza. Flavors galore! Definitely recommend you check this bar out in North McAllen. Besides the fact it is close to many other interesting locations, The Rockwell is at the center of it all! Come check it out, bring your friends, and have a night to remember!

Ive been here several times. Never was the service this horrible. It continues to be hit or miss. Either the pizza oven is out, or the A/C is out, or the taps arent working. This place has so much potential but struggles.

I spent my 21st at rock well and since then you will find me there every weekend. The employees are so kind and inviting! special little shoutout to some of my favorite employees kait, isaiah, fred, cj, jay, oracio,and everyone’s favorite blue hair dj venom . Please bring back thursday night beer pong!!!

Great environment, awesome bartender who took our order, good was delicious.... Must try their brick oven pizzas. Added surprise, they had dance lessons going at the same time. Overall great experience.

In spite of a decent band and so and so drinks, what killed it for me was the non-existent service.It seemed the waitress seemed to go out of her way to avoid serving us drinks, she was apparently fixated on one table and one table only.The drinks were tepidly dull, nothing of notice.The decor was the usual dive bar riff raff.But the reason I would not go again was again, the non-existent service and when I did get a drink, it was watered down swill.

I lost my necklace here at Rockwell and guess what? Someone found it and turned it in. A few grand worth of jewelry not to mention the sentimental value, and they gave it back. Kudos to everyone who works at Rockwell. Everyone is really nice and honest. Plus the vibe is the best. Special thanks to Dulce who found it and to Sara who helped me. 💯

Had a great time, the show was entertaining. The bar tenders were fast and their customer service on point. Place was clean and drinks were delicious.

Overrated food.If you’re looking for a good place to eat, try your luck elsewhere. As a pizza connoisseur, I was looking forward to Rockwell’s pizza, but I was very disappointed in finding little to no taste in it. I can see how the food can be appealing under the influence of alcohol.

Food was disgusting. Singer was disgusting. The burger I got was so dry and oil was filled in the meat I dont know whats worse the customer service or the singer who was on stage, they made no effort to get back and check up on us with our order it was the worst experience ever never going back again

Leah is the most disrespectful employee I have ever encountered with. I have not been the first to say this. Her attitude is very demeaning. The manager also agrees with her which is wrong. Never have I have experienced such service like this.

Decided to try this place out but disappointed. Lack of bar wait staff perhaps? Drinks werent up to par. Band playing was the only thing that kept me ordering a second drink and third drink respectably. May give this place a second try but not hopeful.

First time here , and service is awfully.. didnt get what I ordered.. tried flagging the waitress down ,basically yelled my lungs out and still wasnt acknowledged. My second drink which was right , has this soapy foam at the top of the drin .
