We’re here for family vacation…After check in for few days and enjoy wonderful Myrtle Beach atmosphere…We did a lot of sport activity like swimming and running plus Hotel Gyms work out …Now our body feeling sore…So is time to get foot massage?After few call we find out only TAO SPA able to serving Us with 5 people at same time …Place atmosphere it’s great and service is great too …Will come back again for full body Massage for sure !!

We got couples massage from 2 women with hands like bricks. We both fell asleep drooling. She worked a knot out of shoulder that’s been bugging for months. Better than a chiropractor and they stretched us too. We’re from out of town but will definitely be back next trip to Myrtle. This is the stress go bye bye place if you need to decompress.

I had a knot in my shoulder that was bothering me for a couple of weeks and she got rid of it in one visit. My therapist was Lucy and she was very nice and accommodating. She adjusted pressure to fit me and gave a great 90 min massage. I now go there bi weekly. $130 with tip is very fair. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Wonderful experience. Very professional and clean. I will definitely be returning. I got the basic massage. Looking forward to trying the others out. They were able to get knots out of my back that have been there for 20 years. I would have given more stars if that was an option.

Had a wonderful massage here. I find the people pleasant and professional. I asked my therapist to work a little harder but not too hard and she adjusted to my needs. Temperature in room was fine. Communication sometimes takes a bit more time to explain, but just fine in the end. Location might be a little dated but I’m there for the treatment and my eyes are closed anyway! I know these people work hard standing up all day and I appreciate their efforts.

My husband and I are from NY and came here on vacation. Lovely staff and I honestly have never been to a spa that smelled so good!! Maintained through the whole experience, not overwhelming and not fake air freshener either. Really added to the experience. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained offices. Would love to go back again.

Hubby and I got a 1 hour couples massageI am a masseuse and can attest to the profencieny of the therapy offered hereThe only hiccup I have , and its not incredibly big is that my therapist left me twice during the session. Once to retrieve music and Im not sure what the other reason was, and both times were less than 60 seconds, but still.My husbands therapist never left him , we both were side by sideHowever, the massage was still excellent. Communication was wonderful and the space was cleanThe pressure was consistent and my therapist was very careful to avoid my area where I pointed out I had a surgery incision healed but sensitive 4 months ago.My husband and I both agree that the massages were wonderful, relaxing, and the pressure was perfect.Great way to end a vacation and head back home!Im recommended this place!Please do park behind the building to avoid parking fees

Went for a 1 hour massage with a friend while we were in town for a week.Great experience!The atmosphere is low key and not overly froo froo… but clean and calm and comfortable.Massages were *excellent* and employees were VERY friendly and accommodating.Herein I entered the “zone” where the pressure was perfect for maximum pressure/work/relief of tension, but just at the threshold where I could fall asleep. Perrrrrfect!!!

Unbelievable Far different from the commercial experience you will encounter from Traditional american establishments. Couples massage was fantastic. not just relaxation techniques but manipulation, stretching, pressure...amazing experience and unique experience!!!

The therapist got all the kinks out . She twisted my body and got all the stiffness out. All the knots that were in my back she got out. She was great. Definitely knows how to fix the body. If she was in Ohio. I would go more.

I have gone here more than 20 times. Every time, I ask myself, “why do you keep going back?!?” This past visit. She charged me $10 more to use lotion. Left the room in the middle to go speak with a customer in the lobby, then came back in.After the massage, she asked how much a tip I was going to leave.I was sore for days after- I am a massage therapist of 19 years. I promise that is not a good thing to be (sore).

Best massage for the money! Been there twice, both times were great. Two hours away and I will be making regular trips to this establishment. Highly recommend the he Jason Blvd establishment!

Never in my life had a worse experience at a massage place. Paid for full body massage and didn’t get a full body massage. No head or foot massage. Lady sucked and seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing and had the audacity to ask for more of a tip than I gave. Do not come here please!!!

THEY ROBBED MY MONEY!! I went there on my vacation and got a couples massage that was priced at 130$. When I went to pay, I was asked how much I wanted to tip and I told the lady 20$ each, making the total 170$. Thinking nothing of it, I finished my vacation, when I looked back at the transaction I was charged 200$. BE CAREFUL with them writing down a different tip amount than what you said.

Horrible experience the whole massage was rushed, I didnt feel comfortable the whole time, after she was done I was rushed to get dressed! At checkout she forced me to give her a $10 tip the massage was $70+10 for the oil so 80 I originally said $85 because I didnt care for her services she was very handsy and not in a good way, she also wiped all of my eye liner and eyeshadow off my face!!! For a back massage!!! Like WHY YOU EVEN TOUCH MY FACE! So she insisted $90 I went with it because I had on a lot of jewelry and clothing so it took me a little longer to get dressed and undressed so I obliged for the $90 she and the other lady proceeded to turn around and talk in their native language and laugh which I felt suspicious about so I locked my card immediately after she charged it. She asked me if I wanted a receipt I said yes of course stood there and waited for her to give me one but she just walked off and started eating a mango idk how she forgot that quick but OK 👍🏾 I asked again and she gave it to me it read 90 but I got in my car and looked at my account and the charge was 103.50!!! GTFOOH IM NOT PAYING THAT WILL BE DISPUTING THE CHARGES SOON AS THEY CLEAR!!! N ON MY LAST DAY OF MY VACAY NO LESS! DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY HERE UNLESS U LIKE A RUSHED OVER PRICED MASSAGE!

Absolutely incredible quality and the nicest people! Dont let the building exterior fool you, the Chinese ladies are amazing. Deep tissue massage highly recommended, they know how to use their feet... And stretch you better than a chiropractor. Had a couples massage with my wife, and there are several single rooms too. Highly recommend and will visit next time I am in town.

This was the best massage I’ve ever had. From the outside you would think it’s basic, but I’m telling you it’s phenomenal! Anna did my massage she took her time from head to toe. She was so thorough. I will come back again and again!

OMG amazing!! Best massage I have ever had and I have had quite a few. Couples massage deep tissue and they found every knot and tension area and removed them all for both of us. There prices are reasonable and they definitely earn it.

The women there are super nice. The environment was nice but not conducive for groups. Im not a deep tissue massage type person. So this is not my cup of tea. It was a great experience but not one I want to have again. If you like and need a deep tissue massage this is for you.

Tao Asian Massage & Bodywork Spa is a very welcoming and nice establishment. They have great service. The massage therapist (CiCi) I had was great! I would highly recommend that if you visit Myrtle Beach and want to go to a Spa visit here.

Not a fancy spa, but I needed this massage badly since I had been on a cross country road trip for 6 weeks & have chronic back issues. The 90 minute deep tissue/Chinese massage was great! A bit odd that they switched therapists a few minutes in, but maybe because I was so tight. Anyway, I got the right person, and the massage was helpful, relaxing, and priced right. There was a spa in my hotel but even at off season discounted rates they were way over priced. Because I need massage for therapeutic reasons, at least once or twice a month, Im not paying extra for a chi-chi experience. The room and music were relaxing, clean, comfortable. The massage helped, and thats the point! Highly recommend.

I had a great massage today. The place doesnt look like much from the outside but the service was excellent. Ive had quite a few massages and while this was the first one of this type it was great. I didnt catch her name though she was very skilled and really got some of the issues with my hip and neck addressed. This was part of a couples massage and she said her massage was excellent also. To boot our 90min couples massage was 50$ less than our hotels 50min couples massage.

One of the best massages I’ve ever had. Don’t be deterred by the outside like everything in Myrtle beach it looks old, but do yourself a favor and book an appointment. Very reasonable and amazing massage.

Anna was the best! I went in hurting with sciatica and shoulder pain and left with absolutely zero. I have been to many top end therapist but and chiropractors and I’d choose her 100%

I don’t normally leave reviews but this time I will.. Michael is very amazing in what he do.. he understood the assignment.. I am a nurse and most of time I transfer patients bigger or heavier my size by myself because everyone at work are busy taking care of other patient’s needs and always cause me to hurt and suffer so my husband and I are always in the hunt of good massage places.. This place is a hands down.. no complaints at all and the fact that we live in Boiling Springs,SC it makes me sad that I can’t have a massage at this place every week unless we drive to Myrtle Beach.. we are definitely coming back and I highly recommend this place. Please try this place because their prices are reasonable also.. try Michael he is the best!

What a message.. I was lucky to be able to experience an authentic tao message.. Ask for Niya, she is an expert.. I feel so light and energetic. .At the end of one hour i couldnt resist but ask to extend for 90 minutes...if in doubt, dont think twice, this is the place to be. Absolutely wonderful!! Great prices and literally the best therapeutic massage. Very respectful and comfortable setting. As someone who goes monthly for deep tissue and have had about 200 massages, I can certainly say that Tao is the best as well as the Jason Blvd location.

My husband and I went to the Kings Hwy location. Dont let the building keep you from coming. It was one of the best messages I have had. My husband had the deep tissue and I was given I think a combination of techniques which was amazing. I described what I liked and they made it happen. My favorite part was the body stretching with pressure message. It was amazing!!!!!

I have been twice and have seen Susan both times. She is so kind, sweet and great personality, but dont be fooled by her petite stature, this girl is a beast when giving deep tissue massage. I had a horrible pain under left shoulder blade due to pulled muscle or something. She worked her magic and the term hurt so good was true to form. She worked those muscles over good. I finally had a decent nights rest after seeing her. Thank You again Susan. Such a professional!

This was a much needed couples massage and it was AMAZING!!! Cai & Lis exceeded our expectations. I went there with neck and shoulder pains but by the first strokes of the message that pain was gone. We definitely will be returning soon. (We was at the location by the BMW dealership)

I went to this place, based on the reviews and I have to admit I was disappointed. I called the morning of and we got an appointment at 6 for the couples massage. I requested the hot stone addition, this was not supplied. Someone, did apologize at the end of the services, but it was my husbands first massage and he was looking forward to it. After we had undressed and were just getting positioned on the table, someone walked in (who was not servicing us looking for something). They talked to each other during intermittent periods during the massage, which I thought was very unprofessional and rude for services we paid for. The door was opened a couple of times while we were being serviced and staff members were switched during our service while I was undressed on the table! I had to request music, because the ticking clock and them talking to each other was driving me crazy, along with me hearing the conversation next door. My massage was ok. Ive had massages all around the world, I have never had anyone run my ears or rub my stomach, and Im a therapist. My husband was satisfied, seems his therapist was good, mine did the most talking. At the end I went to move my clothes only to find a dirty towel and linen on the chair it was placed. I didnt even notice because the room was dark when we went in. At the end, I was asked how the service went and I said it was ok a lot of talking, but no one expressed interest in learning more, so I figured it was norm and they werent interested in my experience as a customer. I left a tip, because I always do, but my privacy was invaded several times during our session. Maybe it was the location we were at, but they were in and out of our room. I think this was my worst massage experience ever and it was our first couples massage.

I was really pleased with this place.When I recently needed a massage and my usual go-to was booked up, I tried out Tao, and the experience was highly positive. My therapist was friendly and professional, and we communicated adequately despite the language differences. The price, likewise, was very reasonable (in retrospect, I certainly feel I got my moneys worth). As for the massage itself: stellar, performed exactly as Id specified, and with true skill and attentiveness (unlike some second-rate massages Ive received from similar spa-type outfits).Overall: good stuff, and Id gladly return.My sincere thanks goes out to everybody at Tao Massage (and to my therapist particularly, who delivered a truly therapeutic massage, addressing the chronic health issues Id sought to alleviate). The massage therapist was distract by her phone the entire time. I could hear it buzzing. She only messaged the same 2-3 areas on my shoulders and legsthe entire time.The place looks pretty sketchy.The walls are thin, you can hear other customers and people talking. I would never go back and wonder how they stay in business.

My husband and I scheduled a couple’s massage and we had the most wonderful experience. I had neck pain and didn’t know what to expect but I was really impressed with Cici and how she was able to find all the knots and work on them until they were all gone. Very professional at all times. My husband had the same experience, plus took a nice nap. We visited the N. Kings Hwy location and it is nothing like the pictures. I scheduled for 12:00 and when we arrived I was informed the appointment was for 2:00. It was dark, dirty and smelled. One lady was speaking to another lady in a hostile tone. It may be a good place for a man but not for a woman. I felt extremely uncomfortable.

My husband and I have been coming here for three years for couple massages. When we first walked in the door for our forst appointment, we were impressed at how clean the establishment was. The atmosphere was relaxing and serene to say the least. There has never been time where we left unhappy! Each massage therapist that we encountered over the years knew exactly how to deliver the best massages. Ive always had trouble with my tendons in both shoulders and after getting our deep tissue massages, it always leaves me with more mobility! This is my second experience with Thai style massage and it is by far the best. Amber works on the areas with the most tension until the muscles are completely relaxed. I love the deep tissue and pressure point techniques and also how there is stretching and use of the masseuses full body during the massage. The best and most effective massage experience by far that brings me back every 2 weeks!! I am truly glad I discovered this gem!!

I booked a couples massage while in Myrtle Beach for a 4 day weekend. We can not wait to return. The deep tissue massage was the best we have ever experienced. We both agreed that one hour here produced more results than 2 visits a week to our chiropractor in the last year. If you live in Myrtle Beach you would be crazy not to enjoy this gem of a find. If your looking for pampering while on vacation go early because I guarantee you will want to go back again before your vacation ends.

My husband and I are in Myrtle Beach celebrating our anniversary. We were in dire need of a couples massage. Upon arrival I told them of an acute arthritis in my hip. Surprisingly, I was limp free for the rest of the day. The session was amazing. We definitely recommend this one.Only thing though, they should remind other customers to remain quiet or no loud talking while in the building OR on the way out. Other than that brief moment everything was great.

Highly recommend Tao massage! Jenny was incredible... by far the best deep tissue massage I have ever received. I am planning on getting another 90 minutes before I leave for home. I will definitely be making Tao massage a routine stop when in Myrtle Beach.

Really nothing to say about the message but service is a bit expeditive. I’m not from the country and I fell I’ve insult my therapist because of wrong tips ?, I tried to fix that but therapist did not understand what I was trying to explain. Asked my to leave and to call if something else, but I just felt so wrong after all and hopeless to fix the situation. I also asked for insurance receipt and dont seem to be an option, the ladie gived me the price list instead. I’ve asked her name to book an appointment for my wife and just say no no no :-( Anyway I recommand this place but maybe not for tourist ? Maybe my bad english and her english did not helped.

My husband and I came to Tao for a couples massage and saw there was various types of massage therapy techniques to choose from. We decided on the one hour Tao signature massage because the owner told us that this massage is were you leave the decision up to the therapist to feel where you have knots, out of alignment and have blocked energy. Well, we were both so amazed how our therapist knew intuitively every spot that needed attention. My therapist was very thorough using deep methodical yet soothing techniques like Ive never experienced before. It seems like Chinese techniques are more therapeutic and relaxing than the western style we are accustomed too. We get massage therapy on a regular basis but this massage was exceptional in that our therapist seemed to know exactly what, where and how to apply finger point pressure, hands, elbows and even stretch techniques to release the built up tension that had taken over our bodies. It all felt so healing that I lost track of my usual worries and thoughts. I just did not want it to end so I extended it for another 30 minutes. Our therapists were very skilled professionals and we both agreed that this was our best massages ever and we will definitely be back.

What a little gem we found while visiting Myrtle Beach. After 10 days on the road, Tao Asian Massage was an oasis in the desert. My back and neck were stiff and achy. Our first experience with Amber and CiCi convinced us to come the next day where my husband loved having Cici againand I was relieved of my aches by the magic of Lucy. If you want the best massage you have ever experienced, you will not be disappointed by visiting Tao.The place is clean with no frills. The staff are all very professional, friendly and the most intuitive therapists I have ever experienced. There is no cookie cutter process here. They zero in on your specific needs and go from there.Marty, the manager is very friendly and accommodating in initialy guiding us to the location. Also Chris another manager made every effort to schedule us in on short notice.I am a veteran massage customer of over 25 years and they are the best I have experienced. We plan to revisit them next time in Myrtle Beach SC. Hope you do as well.

Its a plain brown wrapper from the street, but the girlsare exceptionally skilled and work very hard. Im married to a licensed massage therapist, and have had many massages, but not like this.You wont be disappointed.

I go to Tao whenever I visit Myrtle Beach. The massage therapists apply just the right pressure exactly where you need it and seem to have an intuitive touch.The knots are worked out with ease and skilland you leave feeling so loose and relaxed. The entire staff is caring and attentive. I highly recommend Tao for authentic Chinese massage therapy.

We had couple massage and it was excellent experience, losen up all our muscles and was so relaxing. Right pressure, great work on knots.I surely recommend them, our massage therapist were Amber and Cici, also they accommodated us in very short notice.

What a great place! So relaxing! I always love coming here. I have a job where I sit a lot so I come here to get stretched out. All of the therapists Ive had are professional and are really well trained and experienced. And I feel that the rooms are all kept clean and fresh. I definitely recommend it.

Helpful with center neck down to spine. They have a beam structure overhead to help their feet give accurate pressure to the right place at the right angle. Would give 5 stars if business has sauna.

We have went here for the last 3 years when we went to Myrtle Beach. Its not as relaxing as a swedish massage but I feel so much better after their done. Their technique is very good. I highly recommend.

Best massage Ive had in 10 years. Chronic SI joint pain and hip pain. She focussed in on trigger points to ease pain and tension. Headache that Ive had for weeks relieved she included stretching that relaxed so much tension from my chronic pain! Highly recommend !!!

My massage was excellent. Extremely strong pressure that I was not expecting. You can ask the therapist to adjust pressure accordingly. Dont let the outside of the building deter you from booking your massage. Ill be back.

Had my first professional massage there today at 1220 Kings Hwy. Myrtle Beach. I was So sore and tense when I went in, and feel just Great now. Gosh, thats exactly what I needed. What a wonderfully sweet little lady Miss Amber was, but make no mistake, she is Very strong and effective.😁

Received a mind blowing massage from Lucy here. The Tao stretches will loosen all your joints and relieve all the pressure built up in your back, arms and legs. This place has a very welcoming environment; accompanied by strong hands and feet hitting the best pressure points spots.

I was Looking for a massage. Drove by this place around 11:00 and got no answer. I left the area and about a half an hour later I received a call back. I decided to not go. So the day wore on and I started to feel more knots. I called them and set an appointment for 6:45. They saw to me promptly. Even though I was a little bit early. Cici (spelling) was the masseuse. She worked out every knot. Very strong digging in the spots that needed attention and now they don’t. This is not the jazziest place but Cici worked miracles! She also worked on me for the complete hour. Maybe a few minutes over! Highly recommend her!

We are fans of Asian Bodywork and love to try new places when we are traveling. We are also both massage therapists and had a great experience here from start to finish. Friendly, professional and highly skilled practitioners. We will be back!

I do not normally post on the internet but I read a review on here that concerned me about possible other activities happening at Tao based on what another person thought they overheard. I have been going there for regular massages for several years and have used all their staff at different times. Not once has there been any hint of impropriety. They have always delivered a professional massage of the highest quality. I hate it when people make assumptions on what they think they hear and then choose to slander a business on the internet. The therapists at Tao take pride in the service they provide and I felt compelled to defend them here. Best massage team in town by far.

Went in there today after driving by their kings hwy. location, and all I have to say is that they were AMAZING! Xiu xiu ( Sofia) was so strong and knowledgeable and worked on my lower back like it belonged to her! Very friendly and reasonably priced for the incredible service that you get. I can honestly say that I actually had less back pain today then when I went in this morning!

This place is terrible, outdated and smells old. I will NEVER go back. Please dont waste your time and money. The sheets are very thin and stained with oil. A customer open the door and saw my exposed butt. My session was interrupted twice. It was a horrible experience.

I never thought I could find a massage therapist that could be too strong for me. For such petite women, they sure have strong hands! I was amazed at how well she was able to work out the tightness in my back and neck. Will definitely return!

All massages are different but the atmosphere was just above average. I felt like it was rushed so satisfaction isnt their priority. Id go again but only to waste time not for a great massage.

I dont like writing reviews, but I must say that this place is the best massage I ever had. Pressure was great and she hit every knot in my body... I had back pain and needed one badly, this place help me a lot

The entire staff drom management down makes you feel as if its all about you, even beyond the service they perform.Now for the concrete stuff. It was my first time visiting Myrtle Beach... EVER, so its a huge plus they are literally right around the corners walk from the Boardwalk strip. They also have their main location off the hwy headed in toward the beach which maintains the same standard. They are very well priced against their competitors which imho offer more fu-fu, shi-shi stuff than actual skilled non eushed massage. I GOT A 2 HOUR FULL BODY DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE, HOT STONE TREATMENT AND A HELLOVA CHIROPRACTIC STRECH FOR $160, I had to tip the fantastic Lisa $35 bucks otherwise Id have literally felt like I robbed them!Pricing, Location and Skill & Service... Theres literally no room for relevant improvement. Treat yourself and go.

Im usually dubious about a 5 star rating but Tao made me a believer. We were in MB for a week and my wife and I had massages on two occasions . Both were quite different and focussed on the areas that needed it most. Like a cross between Thai and a RMT. Fantastic!!!

Honestly….you wont find a better deep tissue, muscle stimulating, relaxing massage in the Carolinas. My husband and I visit Myrtle Beach regularly from the Washington DC area. Golf and Tao Massage are always at the top of our agenda!

Eva did a great job on my feet. I have planter fasciitis and she not only helped that but after I was done you could feel all of the energy swirl up from my feet through all my organs. It was an awesome feeling. A++++++

Allow me to tell you about TAO. One hidden gem. In town for a few days, larger spas was rccommened but im so grateful that I found this place. And the price was great. I wanted a 90 minute after tryingthe 60 minute but he they had appts waiting. DEfinitely next time...90 mins.

Well we went to get a couples massage but it was obvious that other stuff was going on... We were told to wait 5 mins and someone would be there to massage us and then someone came in went back and the conversation was I already took a bath for you... She said ok heres your room... She gave him time to undress and when she walked in she said oh your already hard wow ok...we waited a few more mins and 3 ladies walked in... But told us to come back in an hour... We left...Im good and dont need or want anything from them.
